At the first glance the room looked surprisingly good. However, some other rather small but numerous things spoiled my first impression… starting from the absence of welcome water and ending with the shaky unfixed toilet in my room. “The only remarkably good impression were l left by cleanliness of the room and very nice and helpful staff. Regular routine maintenance is definitely needed there.

Hotel staff were very friendly. The building is old but I think they kept pretty good condition. Very busy area during the day but it was quiet during the night.

The staff was incredible! Room was very nice, the bed was very comfortable. There is a lot of shopping nearby. All kinds of transportation within 2 blocks (Buses and subways take you any where)

It was a great experience.

I think for the published room rate, you get a good size room that is well appointed along with a very helpful staff. Breakfast is good and the location is central. I have stayed here for over ten years now, once a year and my room's cleanliness is always ecelllent.

Barely a place to crash

The hotel is very old. Nothing is renovated. Our door lock never worked. Breakfast was very poor. Only plus, staffs are nice and friendly.

Good location

We don't understand how Expedia can list this hotel as a 4-star "Upscale hotel". The room was simply gross. Dirty floors, banged up walls, rusty and stained bathroom appliances, desperately in need of vacuuming, cleaning and upgrading. Even the towels were grayish and gross. The soap and shampoo bottles super cheap and difficult to use. This is not what one can expect from a 4-star upscale hotel. The front desk staff on the other hand were super welcoming and curteous.

Nice, convenient place for what we needed. Didn’t like having to fill our forms on our phones during check in. Front desk staff very pleasant.

The room was very run down. Dripping ceiling, stains on the armchair, chipped corners and edges on the furniture and in the bathroom. Shower that splashes everywhere.

Great service. The whole place needs an overhaul. Tarnished bathroom and desk. Not a dazzler.

Avoid this Hotel

This hotel was sooo poor we forfeited our money and went elsewhere. The outside of the hotel looks like a rundown apartment building that has been renovated. There were NO toiletries or amenities. The room was dirty, the wifi was terrible, and the fixtures were in dire need of replacement. I would NEVER stay here again.

The hotel is very simple but has everything you’ll need. The rooms are huge and clean and the staff is very frienand helpful. The front desk people all speak Spanish and English. The area is close enough to the tourist areas but just far enough to give a more local experience. If you want excellent parrilla, La Sonora across the street is a real local experience

The Dazzler Maipu is in a good location for shops and amenities. Walkable distance to Puerto Madero, Obelisco etc Subway nearby. Hotel was quiet when we stayed. Surrounding streets are uncluttered and main pedestrian shopping streets close by. Rooms are large with air conditioning. We have stayed here on 4 occasions. Staff are very helpful. Included breakfast is continental style and sufficient to start the day.

We arrived early in the morning but the staff did their best to check in and gave us a room.

Comfortable stay, close to many attractions. Would stay here again, next time i’m In Bueanos Aires

Great hotel, close to main shopping streets. Close to underground station and Retiro bus station. 10 min taxi ride to Manuel Tienda Lion airport coach station. Large room. Comfy bed. Good variety of items at breakfast.

Clean, comfortable and †great‡ †location‡

If you are visiting Buenos Aires and want to stay at a reasonably priced hotel in a very central location, then the Dazzler Maipu should be a excellent choice. Close to the mall, food, shops, banks and post office. Breakfast was included, they had a nice spread of breads and fruit. The staff was great. Very professional, attentive to needs and very helpful all the way down to opening the entry door and finding a secure taxi (radio taxi) on the street for guests. Overall, this hotel is a really wonderful place to stay, and I strongly recommend it!!

Ok hotel

Hotel is well located, within walking distance of some attractions and restaurants. Room is tired looking and could be cleaner. Breakfast is just ok, needs a bit more variety and doesn't look at all like the photo in the elevator. Reception staff are helpful and obliging.

Don't take the risk.

After a fabulous experience at the Dazzler Polo, we decided to book this property, the Dazzler Maipu, closer to the center of Buenos Aires. Unfortunately, we were less than impressed. When we checked in, the only front desk employee was overwhelmed. Finally got checked in and went to room #110. Room was awful. There was an adjoining door, and we could hear the people next door as if they were in our room. Bidet did not work. Shower head was covered in mold. Bathroom ceiling above shower was damaged. Lock on window was loose, which could be accessed from rooftop. Four loud air conditioner compressors outside window. Tried to switch rooms. Told he would get back to us. Never did. Went down to desk again. Then shown room #103 for a disabled person, which meant there was no separate shower and the entire bathroom would get wet. We declined. Told he would get back to us in 15 mins. Never did. Missed our dinner reservations because of this debacle. Checked with him again and told no other options, maybe tomorrow. Horrible night's sleep, listening to next door neighbors cough and argue into the night... Fortunately, a different person was at the front desk in the morning. She was kind and helpful. She said she would find us another room and even have our items moved for us. She actually had another room by the time we finished breakfast and getting ready. The new room #608 was great. King size bed, clean bathroom, no adjoining door, no a/c units out

Good location and comfortable hotel. However, the street where the hotel requires improvement.

Great place to stay

Large rooms with elevator service and a great breakfast. Very good location for getting to tourist locations and shopping. Small 24 hour cafe/bar/grocery store next door with outdoor tables in case one is a smoker. They will hold luggage if you a taking a short overnight trip so you don't have to cart all your stuff with you. The hotel staff is quite helpful.

Excellent hotel at Buenos Aires downtown

Experiencing the life of Buenos Aires is really exciting and this hotel provides the location to do that. The staff is courteous and efficient. Everyone will help you with a smile.

Second stay at Dazzler Maipu not as good as the first. WiFi did not connect on the upper levels. Had to go down to reception area to use it.

Well located, showing its age.

A well located hotel with lovely staff. The foyer and downstairs areas are modern and well kept. Once upstairs the rooms show their age. Everything worked, especially the AC (which did have a leak problem) and the bed was huge. Would be nice if the sheets fitted the bed a little better too! We stayed here for a week and would have liked a pool or a bar/restaurant to use occasionally, but these were not to be found in this hotel. A 3 star rated hotel is exactly what you get here.

Great business hotel

Great location near major sites. Only drawback is the breakfast choice wasn't the greatest.

Very conveniently located to the conference center (10 minute walk). In-between a lot of the major tourist highlights. Not terribly close to the subte though---most of the stations I wanted to use were a 15 minute walk away. Hotel staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Nice hotel near the heart of Buenos Aires

We spent multiple days at the hotel. Room was large and clean. Bathtub was missing some surface enamel, but otherwise room was quite fine. The continental breakfast and the breakfast restaurant were very good. It had two elevators which worked well. The staff were very friendly, fluent in English and helpful. Good value for money.

The Best Hotel in Buenos Aires

We stayed at the Dazzler Maipu last year and enjoyed everything about it and therefore very happy to be able to say it was even better also lovely to see familiar faces as regards staff they are all so helpful and courteous, we won't be using any other hotel in Buenos Aires

Pre-cruise stay in Buenos Aires

Hotel is in a good location for shopping and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Looked after our luggage at the end of the cruise, even though we were not spending another night there. Breakfast was okay. Good value for your money.

Recommended Hotel

Very good hotel with large rooms. Ideal for visiting BA. Many tourist sights are within easy walking distance of the hotel.

Main complaint.....the BEDS.

There are many good things about this hotel that are good. The location is Excellent. Close by to everything and in walking distance. The rooms were large and modern and clean. The breatkast was wonderful. Our complaints are about the beds. We were in 905 and the mattress was very old, crumpled and without a mattress cover. The sheets, although clean did not fit the beds and were flat, incorrect size that did not stay tucked in. Pillows were too large and lumpy. We stayed for 5 days and not once did we have a hot shower. The water was only luke warm. The WiFI did not work in the room, only in the lobby. We mentioned it to the front desk who said they would try to fix the router, but it never happened, we needed to go to the lobby. This was our 5th stay in Buenos Aries, but only the 1st time in this hotel. I don't think we would stay again unless the bed situation was corrected.

I was extreamly happy with the hotel and it's location within the city centre.

Hotel impressions

Hotell front desk looks good. Staff are helpful but comparing it lacks a bit but is ok. Rooms are clean but beds could be better and more comfortable. Breakfast is limited but is free. After 3 days of the same you wish for something else. Compare with El Conquistador Hotel this has half of its offerings. Still hotel is well located. Hope it helps.

Everyone in this hotel works to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I had 100% exceptional service 100% of the time. Front desk staff very helpful and polite.

Pleasant and charming stay

It was a lovely experience staying in this hotel. Its location is super. Staffs are very helpful and patient. They helped me to book Tango shows, transportation, next destination and they are very efficient. The room is very clean and quiet. The bed is huge and comfortable. The singing of birds woke me up every morning after a deep and quality sleeping, which is very pleasant. I recommend fellow traveler to stay in this hotel for sure.

Centric hotel

Breakfast is quite complete for a 4 Star hotel. Rooms are big, but problems with main doors (VERY NOISY). In 10 th floor the wall started craking due to heavy rains and humidity.

Nice rooms great staff

After finally finding our hotel ... There was construction so we had to walk with our suitcases but it wasn't far. The staff were wonderful. Recommended close restaurant, order cabs and arranged transfer to the airport the next day. There were four of us with numerous suitcases so a regular cab would not do. The rooms were clean and comfortable and any questions we had were answered immediately.

It's a great hotel with good location

We had a marvelous experience, and glad to see that it was near all interest sites of Buenos Aires. It is very secure and clean with a great staff that was very accommodating and willing to help.

Good location, quiet nights

For the newly arrived, this hotel has great location as Florida is just a minute away where you find all the cambios. Hotel is neat with spacious room and good bath. illumination in the room could have been better. Found it too dark for reading or writing. White florescent light makes it feel rather cold. Breakfast is rather simple though. Still good value for money consider its location. Guess they price cheaper these days as the street has construction works for the new metro.

Helpful Front Desk

Stayed here two different times in February. Good location with large comfortable room. Our first room had problems with a bidet, wifi and shower hand rails. However staff made efforts to accommodate us. Front desk staff very helpful. Nice breakfast buffet. Good location, a couple nice restaurants in the area. Would definitely return!

Very clean Hotel

We had a fabulous time in Argentina the Dazzler Tower Maipu was a lovely hotel nice and clean we stayed there for 11nights and will certainly stay there again when we visit next year, all staff were so polite and helpful.

Fabulous Hotel

We booked two nights as we were going to Igazu for two days we are back and have booked a further 11 nights that's how satisfied we are everywhere very clean our room is huge the staff are so helpful, breakfast what one would expect cereal,toast, fruit etc. we would recommend this hotel and we will be back the end of this year.

Disappointed

I arrived and they checked me into a room setup for disabled. There was no tub and the "shower" was a stool with a hand "wand" ... no stall, no curtains. I asked to be changed and there was nowhere to put me till the next day. Breakfast was decent quality and cleanliness by very small selection. I actually passed on it (even though it was "free") after the first day. Also there are only a couple of slow elevators and it seems that the staff locks one of them from time to time for delivering room service, etc..Otherwise I thought it was an OK hotel for the price I paid. Still I would not stay there again because I lost trust with them over putting me in the first room type with no warning or choice offered.

Great location in middle of city next to Florida street. Room was clean and staff friendly. Breakfast was ok. The only negative was could hear everything in the streets.

Great hotel in great location BUT the walls are very thin. We heard TV from room next door and lots of noise at the elevator as people came and went.

Enjoyed the stay

Enjoyed the stay at Dazzler Maipo - excellent location, wonderful room. Breakfast was so-so, no hot food or ability to toast bread but fair selection of cold edibles and fresh juice, milk & coffee.

Good place

Perfect location ! Everything was good but 2 things; beds are a little old and should be renewed and you would get some bad smell from the bathroom sometimes. Location again is great and hotel people are very friendly. I would stay there again.

This place is great!

We moved here from a suite in Recoleta that we liked. But this place had so much more, and for less money too. Very nicely appointed room, very comfy kingsize bed, huge thick towels. Very nice buffet breakfasts. Close to buses, subte and bus terminal, plus restos, pedestrian malls on Florida Ave, Reconquista. Very helpful staff. This was affordable luxury in a great location for us.

Good hotel

We had a great stay. The staff was excellent. My only complaint would be that the t.v. didn't work perfectly (lots of channel were fuzzy) and that the boxspring sheet had some stains on it.

A nice surprise

We have found on numerous visits to Buenos Aires that many hotels have dreadful service and treat guests appallingly. This was not the case with the Drazzler Tower Maipu. My husband and I strongly recommend this hotel. It is great value for money, and has a great location. It is not ostentatious, but that suited us just fine as the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was a lovely size, the bed was new, very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The hotel staff were really nice and friendly. They went out of their way to help mentor all the 5 days that I stayed at the hotel. The hotel is 3 minutes from Florida street which has many restaurants shops and a mall.

Dazzler Tower Maipú, small jewel

Kind and helpful personnel, very comfortable beds (though not Queen size as per US measurements). Except for a horrible tasting coffee, hotel is perfect match for the price.
