Clean hotel close to the station

Clean business-type hotel in easy walking distance from the train station. Room was clean and surprisingly roomy for Japan. Breakfast featured a number of Japanese specialties as well as Western items. Staff were helpful and kept my luggage for me as I visited Nagoya castle.

Excellent Stay

Location is good, staff very helpful and nice, Good variety for breakfast food, close to public transportation.

The hotel staff was very rigid. I arrived at 9am and the staff took my passport to check my booking. I had a special request for non-smoking room but the staff didn't mention anything and told us to just come back at 3pm to check in. So I thought they made the arrangements. However, when I came back at 4, the staff just kept telling me all the non-smoking rooms are fully book. When I told them I really can't take the smell, the lady staff just repeat the same sentence she understand but all non-smoking rooms are full. It’s ridiculous because it was given as an option in expedia to pick non-smoking and the staff in the morning did nothing to help us with the request. In the afternoon then they said oh the arrangement was not done so no more non-smoking room. So we said never mind ask her manager to come. End up no manager came and she offered an alternative to an additional charge to get the non-smoking room. Well then all that time was wasted telling me all non-smoking room were full. Very unhappy with the poor service and just blame throwing to non present staff and expedia. Is the staff not a representative of their hotel? If you want to put your listing on expedia, expedia also request guest to contact hotel straight, take your responsibility. Even with the upgrade that we paid for a bigger room to get non-smoking, it was as small as other 16m2 rooms we stayed elsewhere. Bet they gave us a 16m2 despite the upgrade to 20m2.

Modern, convenient, comfortable.

We love the location and cleanest. Also, all stuff was very nice and polite.

Location is very accessible. However, the place rather small for a 3 person setting. Even with a sofa bed. A true 3-4 person room would be more idealistic.

Location is right in the city Center. Walking distance from the bus and train stations. Lots of shopping places available around too.

Frontline service staff were very friendly with a courteous smile. Always greeting us when we were in the hotel. Rooms were great, clean and very spacious. Enough room to open 2 to 3 27" luggages with enough room to walk around. Near to Nagoya station, within 5 mins walks.

Good location

The room was clean but the bathroom had a distinct musty smell. The extra bed had an exposed large metal frame which my young granddaughter hit a few times and hurt herself.

Excellent hotel stay in Daiwa

Room is fairly spacious, modern and clean. Staffs at front desk are friendly and helpful. Within walking distance to Nagoya station. Highly recommended

A short walk to Nagoya station and shopping mall around. Very clean room with a sofa to relax with a sake.

I chose this hotel because it was close to Nagoya Shinkansen station and close to some of the attractions, such as Noritake Garden Place. The hotel seemed to be a new and a modern business hotel. At the check in, I checked in with a person at the desk and grabbed a couple of coffees packages and went on to check in with a machine then off to the room. There were no bell boy to carry luggages. Not much of view except train station.

Clean and Well Maintained

An excellent comfortable stay at this hotel. Room was well maintained and comfortable. Towels and bedding were clean and fresh. If hotel can provide electrical adapters for foreign guest, it will make this hotel a perfect stay.

Dusty room

The location was pretty good. However the room was very dusty especially the walls and the ceiling. Little insects were coming out from the sink. Tho we complained to the reception, the dirt was still there after room cleaned . We will not choose this hotel again.

The room was rather cramped and it did not come with free bottled water like the other hotels in NGO. The location of the hotel was aptly situated with lots of shopping and dining options.

Good location once you’ve figured out how to cut through Nagoya station, otherwise google maps will bring you through a much longer route upon arrival. Room was big and clean, though furniture seems a bit old. Staff were excellent and very service oriented and proactive. I checked in on a rainy day and the staff immediately loaned me an umbrella without me asking. Would stay here again if in Nagoya.

Charge premium price of over 200$ per night with a budget hotel service and amenities

Stayed here as it was supposedly near the train station. Still quite a distance from train station. Bed was really hard and the extra bed was even harder.

Hotel was located right next to a construction site, very noisy indeed. And air cleaner was really smelly.

Everything is good except for the toilet....had to stand at an angle to use the basin. But overall, happy with my stay there!

Room is very dirty. Previous customers hairs and stains on bed, on floor. Head board full of dust. Corridors smell.

Functional hotel close to Nagoya Station

We wanted a hotel close to the Shinkansen at Nagoya. It was functional, efficient, clean and very convenient to the station. Rooms are smallish but that is expected. The self-serve washing machine/dryer was handy. I recommend for what we wanted it for.

A cozy hotel next to Nagoya Station

A cozy hotel just 5 mins walk from Nagoya Station. Convenient without the buzz. There are several convenience stores around the hotel. Plenty of eateries minutes away. Friendly staffs and adequate buffet breakfast. Rooms are on the smallish side but clean and tidy. Non-smokers should avoid room on 3rd floor. Rooms are non-smoking, but the “Smoking Room” is on the same floor just outside the lift lobby, so heavy cigarette smell will be the first thing that hits you when exiting the elevator or waiting for one. Only 2 washing/drying machines in the whole hotel, although they are conveniently located, yes, on the 3rd floor.

Hotel near Nagoya Station

Room was very small for a triple room. No walking space. There was no space at all to open luggage except to use the bed. Ask the staff if they had bigger rooms and the answer was a flat "No".

Nice hotel for stopover

We stay there for only a night with 2 adults and 2 kids. The room is small but okay. The location is convenient to the Nagoya station.

Hidden germ

Excellent breakfast!

Excellent service from the hotel staff who were able to understand enough English to help us with luggage forwarding. The hotel is also in a great location with good food and general shopping around the area. The room is also pretty big for a Japanese hotel. We will definitely choose the hotel again if we visit Nagoya in the future.

No frills, but clean and safe

This hotel is located close to Nagoya main train station. It is clean, staff is friendly, its possibly not the best part of town, but very safe, as it is Japan. No frills, but clean and convenient. Would recommend.

Convenience location

Not too far away from the JR Nagoya station if u got the right directions. Box camera and number of restaurant near by. Convenience place to stay a night if u needa catch up the JR train or bus to Osaka as the bus station is near by! A central market is about 10 mins walk. Worth to go there to have a look in the very early morning.

Nice hotel close to the station with excellent value breakfast which has local dishes (ogura toast, mini miso katsu) , staff were helpful and provided English map. A bit difficult to find hotel when we first arrived.

I wish the hotel provides more amenities such as water bottles in the room. A shower cap would be nice too.

Sauna of Nagoya

Hotel was beautiful and clean but it does not work for families. Staff was awesome. Lack of AC meant room was a solid 25C all night. Spring time, temps outside 18C+ but heat was still activated. Didn’t find that out until check in :-(

Great Location

This hotel offered a great location just two blocks from Nagoya Station. The room was small but clean and nice appointed. The breakfast buffet was incredible. We were even able to leave our bags after we checked out while we did some sightseeing in the area.

Of my 2 weeks in Japan, this hotel was one of the more expensive ones I stayed, but I absolutely enjoyed it and wouldn't hesitate to stay again even if slightly more expensive. Spacious room, convenient location, great breakfast.

I always find this chain to be dependable. Nagoya had English speaking staff, reasonable size rooms, and had listed to my request for end of corridor high floor. Very close to station and shopping.

Good stay

Location is good. Lots of goodies from the front desk. Breakfast selection was good with a variety of japanese food. Only drawback is breakfast place is too small. Need to wait for table most of the time unless you go early before 730am.

A business hotel for locals....

Stayed for 2 nights so we can visit Legoland on the way to Tokyo from Osaka. The room is really small and breakfast buffet has very limited choices, mostly catered for local business travellers!

Small room

Hotel tried their best to fit many items into a small sized room. Toilet size is so small that toilet bowl has to be covered all times to prevent things from the basin top.

Beds too small

Room is only suitable for 2 adults. Each bed is too small to sleep 1 adult and 1 child but hotel allows booking of 2 adults and 2 children. End up my son has to sleep on the sofa. This should be conveyed to customers upon booking to add additional charges for additional beds. Not happy with this. Location is good as near Nagoya Station.

Very good location once you managed to find it

Very good location once you managed to find it. But while arriving at Nagoya Station, I have no clue where to find it, which exit to go to, perhaps the hotel information should highlight clearly the best and luggage-friendly route to get to the hotel from the gigantic amalgamation of multiple train lines in a single connected building with multiple exits but only a few elevators for moving luggage.

A good, clean hotel, english speaking staff

A very basic businessman style hotel with the essentials. Very welcoming staff who spoke english very well and was able to assist us even though we could not speak Japanese. The room was clean and well equipped. The buffet style breakfast was good, had a wide range of options. Only a 5 minute walk from the main train station.

Nice and relatively quiet neighborhood but still very close to Nagoya station. Hotel staff service is very good.

Worthy accommodation

It was a great experience. The staff were very helpful. Facilities were well designed and of good conditions. It was very considerate for the hotel to provide slippers and amenities for kids. Plus the perfect location of the hotel, we will definitely choose Daiwa Roynet next time we visit Nagoya.

The proper hotel for going out~

The hotel is close to nagoya station, so it's convenient for going other places. And the location is close to east gate of nagoya station, so it's not busy compared to west gate. Hotel room is clean, and it's very easy to check out by using the checkout machine~

交通很方便，JR名古屋站行幾分鐘便到，近食肆、車站、百貨公司。三人房間頗細，兩個大篋僅僅可以開到，早餐都可以，附近都有很多食肆選擇。

すごい綺麗なホテルでしかも3人家族にとって十分広いしビックリしました。 また行くことがあったらぜひ泊まりたいと思います。

子どもの付き添いでの初めての名古屋でしたが、ダイワさんの他県のホテルはよく利用していて良さは知っていたのでこちらのホテルを利用しました。 新幹線口から近く、ローソンも近くにあり便利でした。 お部屋も綺麗でスタッフの方も観光について尋ねると親切に教えて下さり大変助かりました。 また機会があれば宿泊したいと思いました。

朝食だけは

新幹線口からは行き方もわかりやすく立地は問題ありません。朝食会場があまり大きくないので連休中等の宿泊の場合は待ち時間を計算しないといけません。（実際、30分程待ちました） 総合的に見れば、快適なホテルだと思います。

ホテル快適、但し。。。

ホテル自体は快適、湯舟も楕円形で手摺りがあるなど使い勝手が良かった。バスタオルは夜と朝に利用したいので２枚あった方が良かったが、仕方ないか。部屋の広さも十分で落ち着いて滞在出来た。 但し、チェックイン時に受付で対応した外人男性が、私が住所等を記入している際に、「確認することがある」と言って奥の部屋に消えていき、再度現れた時は何も言わず手続き完了した。こんな経験は生まれて初めてであり、この点だけはひじょうに不信感を覚えた。

新幹線を利用するにはとても便利な立地。 値段も安く清潔。

Daiwa Roynet Hotel 是一家很棒的酒店 已經住過無數次了 酒店的地點都離車站很近的 而且樓下一定都要便利商店 方便吃飯 酒店乾淨 服務態度很好 到日本就就住Daiwa Roynet Hotel 就對了👍

地點方便，近JR和新幹線名古屋站，附近有Lawson，早餐是自助餐，食物美味。訂的是3人房加床，房間整潔，但加床後已沒有太多空間，床褥偏軟。

時間が遅れましたが、確認の連絡をいただけました。足が不自由でしたので、アメニティが部屋にないので、持って上がり、入浴・洗顔時に部屋の中を取りに行く、少しの手間が気になりました。

나고야역에서 나와 15분 걸으면 도착. 저층 객실은 빛이 란들어와 컴컴한 편. 투숙한 룸이 3층임. 조식을 챙기는 편인데 메뉴는 다양하지 않지만 기본 일본 정식은 갖추어짐. 나고야역 안의 쇼핑센터 백화점 이용에 편리한 위치임.
