Mito stay

Very Clean. The room was spacious enough for 2 people plus large suitcases. Pretty large room for a Japanese hotel -- I have in a hotel where I could not even open my suitcase. Less than a 2 minute walk from the JR station made it super convenient. Check in and out was very easy. Will choose this location again when visiting friends in Mito next time.

Water for no clean service

We found it interesting that how you get a free bottle of water is to not have your room cleaned. Seems to me if you balance a clean room against a bottle of water, the hotel is saving way more than just the cost of water. Now if you take in the fact they are doing it to “conserve” resources, why give a plastic bottle? Seems more damage to the environment to fill up the garbage with plastic from bottles. But the stay was perfect and the staff was helpful and the room was clean. Would stay again even if I don’t get bottled water for free.

Enjoyable stay in Mito.

Had a lovely stay in Mito. If we return we would have no hesitation in staying at the Daiwa Roynet. We visited Mito particularly to visit Kairakuen Garden and we were not disappointed. However, I do regret not spending some time in Moff Cat Cafe, which is just downstairs. A lovely bonus in the area.

a week at the Daiwa

Colleagues have always recommended the Terrace the Garden hotel which is located across from this hotel. And while I admit the Terrace is a better hotel (newer rooms, nicer lobby), the Daiwa Roynet is a cheaper option with upgrade options that are not available at the Terrace hotel. The only issue I had was with the heating system. I found the room warm and the thermostat did not appear to have an option to cool the room (in winter) so the only option was to turn off thermostat and open the window.

Nice comfortable hotel

I wasn't sure what to expect from this hotel since it had so few reviews, but it was excellent. It is located right next to Mito Station (lots of eating choices around). The staff were excellent. The queen room was as large as US hotels and very comfortable. Free WiFi was a bonus that I didn't recall seeing in the listing. Would stay there again without any hesitancy.

Very Convenient

Being next to Mito Station, this hotel was extremely convenient for me to get around the area. A couple of things about this stay was that the first night the thermostat didn't seem to work. I told the front desk the next day and they flipped a switch or something to make the AC work. The other thing was the bed was a little hard for my back. Otherwise, my stay was very good and I would most certainly use it again.

A fine hotel at Mito Station

The hotel was fairly standard. Room was adequate size, w/ all the standard amenities you would expect. It's a clean hotel room.

Average Japanese business hotel

This is a pretty average business hotel. Small but clean room, comfortable. Has refrigerator and very fast and free internet service. Parking costs reasonable per night and is located in the mall parking lot (Combox 360) that the hotel is located in. Bathroom smelled a little like mildew, but looked clean - no ventilation. AC worked well, no english TV. Basically attached to the train station which has many dining and shopping options. There is a tully's coffee downstairs (excellent) and a bic camera store which is great. Also recommend the Hitachino nest brewpub which is located on the 2nd floor of the train station mall with bic camera. Good place to stay in mito.

Have used this hotel before and would use it again

I have been to Mito four times and used this hotel twice . Its is conveniently situated and would use it again.

The hotel is just outside the Mito train station and very convenient. The room is very tidy and clear, however, the size of the room is bit small.

水戸駅南口、改札口と同じ階から広場を通って行けます。すき家やコンビニも同じビル内で食事も安く済ませました。 ツインのお部屋も広く快適でした。

禁煙ルームの件

禁煙ルームでしたが、タバコの臭いがしたため別のお部屋に変更頂きました。迅速に対応頂いたものの、変更後の禁煙ルームも程度の違いはあれど、やはり若干のタバコ臭がありました。揉めて旅行自体を不愉快な旅行にしたくなかったので、再度のルームチェンジはお願いせずにそのまま宿泊しました。推測ですが、通常の清掃ではニオイを落とすことが難しい状況にないでしょうか。僭越ながら禁煙ルームでの喫煙を厳粛に管理されるか、禁煙ルームを廃すかのどちらかにしていただくのが、非喫煙者が予約するにあたり親切だと感じました。 全般的に丁寧にしていただいただけに、この点が大変残念でした。

大変満足しました

当初、冷蔵庫のドアが開かなかったので、よく見ると収納庫の下の部分がかなり前から壊れたまま放置状態だった。

清潔で交通の便も良く快適な週末を過ごすことができました。　又、利用したいと思います。

宿泊階のエレベーターのセキュリティが、ルームキーで操作できるように改善されていたのでとても良く安心できる。

掃除が行き届いた清潔なホテルでした。喫煙ルームしか空きがなかったため、仕方なく喫煙ルームを利用しました。部屋の匂いはきつかったものの、リセッシュが常備されていたので、大変助かりました。

息子と突発的な旅行だったのですが、素泊まりでも周りの施設が充実しており　良かったです。また突発的な水族館の旅の際は　泊まろうねと話しておりました。

誰でも乗れてしまうエレベーターのセキュリティが気になる。

大人1人で素泊まりでした。駅から近いので、ビジネスホテルのようなイメージで予約をしたのでですが、部屋が広々としていて、収納スペースもあって良かったです。お掃除も行き届いていて気持ちよく過ごせました。

駅近く清潔でシンプルで使いやすいホテル。高台で眺望もよい。混雑時は2台あるエレベーターはなかなかな来ないし、満員なことが多いのが難。個人的には湯沸かしポットがあるのことが◎。

タバコの臭いがします。

禁煙ルームを予約しましたが、タバコの臭いがします。エアコンのフィルター、空気清浄器のフィルターも掃除した方がいいです。これは、前の宿泊者がタバコを吸ったのではないかと思われます。たばこを吸ったことのない私は、目がチカチカし、空気清浄器を強にしても、朝には肺が痛かったです。

すごく綺麗でした。今まで泊まったビジネスホテルで一番かもしれないです。 コーヒー紅茶だけでなくホットアイマスクや足用の冷却シートなどのアメニティもあってすごく嬉しかったです。国営ひたちなか海浜公園行った後だったので疲れが軽くなったように感じました。心遣いに感謝致します。

駅に近く便利。複合ビルの上層階がホテルになっている。価格に比して、広い部屋。レストランがホテルの所属で履く、下層階の外部のレストランになっていた。これが少々不便であった。それ以外の不満は、宿泊客としてありませんでした。

ただ駅に近いだけ

喫煙ルームだったのにタバコ臭くて、エアコン調整がきかず、とても寝苦しかった。

滞在は快適でしたが、洗面の蛇口が外れたことには驚きました。自分ではめ直し事なきを得ましたが。また、枕カバーの汚れが嫌でした。 あとは特にないです。

幼児と宿泊する際は要注意

ホテルの対応には問題はないのですが、幼児は無料で宿泊できるはずなのに、Hotels.com経由で大人3人子供1人で予約すると大人4人と同じ料金に勝手に設定されます。 ダブルルーム2部屋で予約したのですが、確保されていたのはシングル1部屋とダブルルーム1部屋で、料金を払っているのでダブルルーム2部屋に変更してもらいましたが、離れた部屋になってしまいました。 Hotel.comは海外のサイトらしく、ダイワロイネットホテルでは対応できないそうです。

清潔舒適、交通方便，到海鮮市場及偕同樂園都很近。

今回出張で宿泊しました。コンビニも1階にあり駅近で非常に便利でした。ホテルも綺麗で静かに快適に過ごせました。また次回も利用したいと思います。

インターネットからの申し込みの手違いで禁煙ルームを希望も喫煙ルームとなっており、当日禁煙ルームの空きがなく、しかたなく喫煙ルームとしたが、やはりかなり気になった。

駅ビルに隣接し繁華街にも近く、とても便利に利用させてもらいました。

喫煙・禁煙は、あくまでも客の希望を訊いてるだけで、確約ではないそうです。

チェックインの際に、喫煙で予約をしたのに禁煙の部屋しか用意できないと言われ、宿泊せずに急遽自前でホテルを探す羽目になりました。なので、「総合」と「サービス」以外は評価しておりません。「希望の部屋が無いからといって、泊まらないのは客の判断であり、返金不可」とのありがたいお言葉を頂戴しました。

仕事で一泊しました。 駅前ということでアクセスはすごく良いです。 周りにコンビニやレストラン、居酒屋などがいろいろあります。 部屋は清潔で設備も十分整っています。 水戸で宿泊するならオススメです。

4 nights in Mito

The hotel location is extremely convenient, just right next to Mito JR station and surrounding with large shopping malls. A lot of choices of restaurant and overall food quality was good. It’s easy to access different destinations, no matter by railway, by buses or other transportation. I took 30 minutes to national park. Check in/out process was efficient. Room was clean and tidy, but preferred a stronger hair dryer. View was facing other buildings without any special highlight. Overall staying experience was great

Good choice for travel around from Mito

Location is great in just 3 mins walk from Mito station. It's a great choice if you plan to travel around with Mito as the center point. Room size is very big in Japan standard. The staff is friendly. Overall is a simple and nice hotel. The only thing have to improve is the ventilation of the washroom seem not enough.

位置方便，JR水戶站南囗右邊方向，直行至遊戲機店，6/F的接待處可以check in。櫃檯會供應drip coffee pack,女仕們會派face mask。酒店沒有用餐地方，如果你付1千円，便可以選用聯繫的日式或Tully’s coffee 的早餐一份。其實亦可以在車站內的麥當勞或其他店吃，較便宜。酒店的北面是河溪，兩旁植滿櫻花樹，沿路走可以往千波湖，再走過天橋，更可以到常盤神舍及偕樂團。景色優美，黃昏於湖區走一圈，真是令人意外。
