Good place for family spending their holiday! Near to underground station and bus station! Walking dustance to different supermarket! Adequate facilities for family stay for a longer time! Facilities like laundry room, gym, in room kitchen and cooking utensils! 24 hours front desk provide necessary support to us! Flexible choice for us to have early check in and late check out! Good place!
Great place in a great location
Everyone that worked here was awesome. Very personable and helpful. We booked a studio and it had everything we needed to cook meals - full size fridge, oven, and microwave. The best part of staying here was the location. It is super close to multiple metro / underground stations so it was easy to get around on our own. It is down the street from St. Paul's Cathedral and within walking distance of London Bridge and other attractions. We would definitely stay here again.
Front desk was incredibly friendly, helpful and communicative, and that's coming from someone who worked in hotels.
Comfortable, convenient and great location. Would definitely return.
overall OK. carpets needs cleaning though
This is a very nice property. The rooms are good sized. Easy access to train stations.
Great location, right next to Mansion House station. Wonderful staff and very clean, quiet room. Condo with everything for families
A few basic things in the kitchen would be great! Option to have stocked fridge would be great. But honestly this place is EXTREMELY comfortable and the staff are so so kind. I would recommend and stay here too
Wonderful front desk. Accommodations were clean and spacious. Amazing shower! Extremely close to 2 tube stops! No complaints!!
This was my second time staying at Cove Cannon Street The City. I come to London frequently and when I first chose this location last year I didn’t know what to expect. As a traveler I like to have my own pace and prefer to blend in. This location allows me to be in the heart of the City. It has Tube access within several steps of the hotel. There are places to shop for provisions and fun pubs. The restaurant options are diverse as well. I will say as a Chef I liked having a full kitchen in my room. It’s nice to be able to go to the local grocer and whip up my own meals after a day of wandering the city. The room is clean, the accommodation are well thought out for your stay. The staff are warm and will give helpful recommendations of what to do in the area. I will say I was booked to stay longer but due to a family emergency back in the States I had to leave far earlier than planned. The staff was so kind and it was very touching. I can’t thank them enough and that in itself tells me that on my next stay I will be returning to this hotel. So if you want to experience London and want to feel more like you are staying at home rather in a traditional hotel room I fully recommend this place.
The location is fabulous--it's so close to several different underground lines that you can get around very easily. It was quiet at night; the suite was a good size; and the welcome jar of teas and coffee was welcome. I will recommend this property to others and will be back.
Excellent choice.
The amenities in our room were great. The room was clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
Rooms great and roomy. Staff are fantastic and make sure you feel at home
Very nice location and room was very clean and well set-up. Sofa bed not super comfortable - quite short. we had issues with being charged for the room when we had alredy paid. It took the entire week of our stay to sort out but they did comp us a night for the inconvenience. Overall, would recommend.
Great location for all things we wanted to do
Really nice & spacious. Tube station very close by. Staff were very friendly & helpful. All the appliances you need, we particularly loved the ceramic French press for making coffee.
Great property
Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Room and entire hotel is also very clean.
Great location, very helpful staff. With a good small kitchen and laundry facilities. Wonderful place to stay to see London.
The beds and bedding were very comfortable and that's so important when walking for hours a day sightseeing. Water filling station was great. Just little things like having kleenex would of been nice, but that's minor. Steps away from Mansion House Tube station made transportation convenient. Would stay again.
Very nice area across from M. Bloomberg’s building and close to St. Paul’s. Lots of pubs, grocery stores & restaurants in area. However, The Cove was not set up for 3 friends traveling together. Tube stations were close as well.
This hotel had a very large room with a washer/ dryer combo and was literally right across from the tube station in zone 1
The staff was excellent and the room was spacious and very nice.
Great staff, helpful and friendly
I arrived early before work hoping to check in, I was greeted by a friendly welcoming front desk member of staff - unfortunately, a room was not available, however, the front desk was happy to hold onto my luggage. After work (about 7pm) I arrived back at the hotel and was greeted by an amazingly bubbly, friendly and professional female member of staff, She checked me in and showed me to the lift, I appreciate the personal way in which I was dealt with.
Great place to stay if you want a quiet área!
The staff was great. Very supportive snd always trying to help!!!
Good stay for the solo traveler looking to explore London
I enjoyed our stay because it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I also appreciated the friendly helpful attitude of the people who worked there. The only thing I would recommend would be to get wash clothes for the bathroom and dish towels for the kitchen area.
Clean and quiet
Pricey but worth it
Great location. Very helpful staff. Fabulous accommodations.
Recommend
Great place, room just needs more kitchenware to be oerfect
DC Travelers
The Cove was an excellent location to visit the major attractions in London. In walking distance of St Paul’s Cathedral, Tower of London, The Tower Bridge, The Shard and Borough Market to just name a few. The staff was very friendly and accommodating too. Thank you Cove!
Great location. Right next to tube station. Small kitchenette was a plus. A small grocery just next door. Got to know that the rooms are sort of small though. The room we took was for three but was sort of tight with the suitcases. The one disappointment was that the hotel does not offer room cleaning even with five nights stay which we did not know before. And with five days of three people trekking inside and out the floors didn't feel clean. They did give you fresh towels when you needed that was good. Other than that all good
A Perfect Location
Loved every moment of my stay at Cove Cannon. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly from me checking in, to me checking out. The location was perfectly centered for my London visit, with THREE tube stations nearby. Mansion Station was across the streer, and, Bank Station and Cannon Street Station were approximately a 2 minute walk..Did i say Perfect location!! I look forward to staying there again on my next visit
The apartment was very close to St Paul's Cathedral so you had some great views of it from the nearby bars and restaurants. It was also in walking distance to the other tourist parts of London, great location. Apartment itself was a decent size, clean and tidy, had everything we needed. Staff were friendly. Free breakfast pastries in reception on the Sunday morning!
Really close to the Mansion house tube, smells nice, good room size etc.
Lovely apartment/hotel within walking distance to many iconic places and steps to the tube stations. The hotel’s location felt very safe at night
Staff helpful and friendly. Dryer broken. Double beds against wall difficult for older clients. Design was like a rabbit warren.
Nice
Amazing location; quiet, comfortable and spacious room/apartment; friendly and helpful staff. A special experience!
This was a perfect place for our week in London. We had our teenage son who used the pullout sofa bed and there was plenty of space. We loved walking to Borough Market each morning and then taking the tube all around town or walking. Highly recommend!
Perfect London stay
We could not have been happier with our stay at Cove - Cannon Street. The location is fantastic… just down the street from St Paul’s, super easy access to three Tube stations, tons of great places to eat and drink, and across the street from the amazing Rosslyn coffee shop. The apartment was clean (my number one criteria for a great stay), the bed was comfy, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The have washers and dryers available too. Just a perfect stay for us.
A great hotel with self-contained rooms. Well located near St Paul’s Cathedral and right across the road from a Tube station. The only negative is the tortuous access to some rooms, with some stairs unavoidable.
Fantastic Location, Helpful staff.
Great stay and location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Shout out to Shanie for going above and beyond for us on the first day of our stay. She’s awesome. Hotel rooms need smart TVs installed asap.
Love it!
Very walkable to tube and bus stations - we used them many times. Our first room was good, sofa bed for an adult was comfortable, but was stuffy and couldn't get AC to work. Asked next morning, found out AC wasn't working on that side of building for a few days (they should have told us and not put us in that room). We asked to be moved, much better. AC worked, sofa bed still comfortable for an adult. 24 hr reception helped us get our laundry out of our washing machine (door wouldn't open). Used free washers & dryers in basement - good. Used luggage storage, worked well & they had a nice lounge as we waited for our train. Stayed 3 nights and would stay here again. More room than a hotel and having a kitchen is great when buying some grocery items.
Lovely little 1 bedroom flat. Good for a couple or single.
Great location, next to tube and rail
The Cove Cannon was a great hotel for our stay in London. The hotel was quiet, clean, and the staff were very friendly. The location is nice because it is out of the craziness of central London, but it is extremely close to two tube stations making public transport very easy. Our room was very spacious, even though it was a studio. It had a surprising amount of shelving and storage space for our belongings. The kitchen was nice to have to have for our stay. The AC works wonderfully! The hotel gym is small, but had exactly what we needed for our workouts. Overall, I’d highly recommend this hotel for your stay in London.
We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Cove Cannon Street. We highly recommend and will definitely stay here again. We liked the Mansion House station being right next door, making it easy to get around. Room was large, clean and had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable. They provided dishwasher and laundry detergent. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. We were surprised at how quiet it was for being downtown. We never heard any noise or sirens. Always someone at the front desk if we had any questions. Thanks for a great stay!
The staff was extremely helpful. The room was great. I loved the size and amenities.
Clean and modern
Very clean and modern apartments. Very handy for the underground and bank area of London.
Great apartment for an extended stay. It was able to accommodate 3 perfectly. The kitchen should include napkins or paper towels, also salt & pepper. Another thing is providing an option for garbage to dump off and including a Welcome booklet with operating instructions for the various appliances.
A great central location for everything we wanted to do.
Great location and friendly staff. Mario was very helpful upon arrival. The only thing I didn’t like is location of our room. Felt like we were in a basement apartment but the apartment itself was great!!!
Clean, comfy, loved it, thanks
Very spacious. Well located
Shout out to Theresa! She was charming and helpful and kind.
Excellent staff, close to train station.
Friendly staff and good location. However, it was more of a cave than a cove - poor view of HVAC units covered in bird poop and cardboard boxes. Also, it was somewhat noisy - a low-frequency noise due to passing traffic? Also, the blinking light on thr bedroom ceiling was annoying.
Great location! Having the tube station at the corner made exploring the city easy and convenient. Staff were very friendly and willing to help Will definitely stay again, would be perfect for a long stay Challenging to find food available in the later evenings especially on the weekend unless you order delivery
Nice place
All was good, we do recommend this hotel without any hesitation.
Location was the best! Our large apartment was beautiful! The front desk lady was so nice and helpful!!! We will be back!
The only thing was the a/c wasn’t working. They tried to fix it but to no avail. Loved the spacious bathroom. Could have used one or 2 luggage racks. It was a pleasant surprise to find coffee and cream for our first morning.
Staff was friendly and attentive. Room was spacious and perfect for longer stays. The kitchen well equipped and useful. Room was clean and comfortable. Walking distance to the transit. Would definitely stay again.
We stayed here for a week and LOVED IT! When I showed other people of this place via pictures, they all said that they would like to stay here! It was super clean, safe, and had everything that you! Easy to access the tube and the busses! The staff was exceptional! So friendly and professional! Loved the kitchen! It also came with basic kitchen essentials! We will stay here again when we come to London!
Great location and wonderful place to stay. Well appointed 1 bedroom apt with kitchen, laundry and access to on site work out room. Great staff and very quiet BUT right in the middle of London. We will return!
Such a good location, lovely comfortable bed and bathroom. Friendly staff and really great Value. Would recommend to anyone
Spacious and clean
Very clean and spacious. Ideal location and a very great place to stay. I highly recommend.
The lady at the reception did my check in with attitude, when showing me to my apartment she took me a route that I wasn’t able to come back via due to the fact access was only granted with staff fob. The toilet did not flush at all and has flowing water constantly which was annoying when trying to sleep. The tv was a shambles as it did not respond to the remote and the times there was response it completely did it own thing to the point where I got fed up switched of the tv.
Online communication and check-in worked well. But we found the bathroom basin blocked and unusable when we went to our room. Since this is a minimal support property there was nothing concierge could do to fix the issue on the evening of our arrival. We were only staying one night, so no fix and no recompense.
We loved our stay at Cove Cannon Street. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed. The location is perfect to walk to many popular sites nearby. Would definitely recommend!
Would happily have stayed for longer
Great location and convenient nearby eateries, the room and facilities were clean and comfortable, and I would have been more than happy to stay for longer.
Surprised ! :). The room was wonderful and beautifully decorated, very functional, excellent ratio price vs. what you obtain. Check in experience fast and really kind. They allowed us to check in a bit earlier which was absolutely convenient for us. Very convenient location at 15 meters from MANSION HOUSE underground station, also close walking from different points of interest. We really enjoyed the stay there and definitely would return to this property as long as the price keeps competitive. The only few little recommendations would be 1) please include napkins salt/pepper bas in the kitchen amenities. 2) For non-European visitors would be nice to include some basic instructions such as which trash bag use for which waste, how to turn on the towel heater, etc. please don’t make assumptions, not of all us are familiar with simple things. Finally check out was quick and easy. Thanks for making my wife and myself very comfortable in our stay at London. :)
right next to the tube station. walkable to london bridge and the borough market
Everything I needed. I ended up booking to stay 5 more days... keep up the good work Guy's.
Amenities such as washing machine, dishwasher, fridge and microwave met our expectations. Location is excellent, with two underground stations minutes away. Staff at reception also helpful.
Very nice and comfortable apartments. Well equiped. Front desk ladies very helpful and professionals. Only comment: the safe was not working, ladies at Front desk tried to fix it, it didn't work, however nobody came after that. Comunication thru WhatsApp is not for everybody yet.
Great place.
Wonderful location, large, spacious room with full kitchen, heated bathroom floor. Great amenities and an equally great staff.
If you’re planning a stay in London…
Great place, excellent location.Right in the shadow of St. Paul’s. Two tube stations a short walk away ( Cannon St. and Mansion House on the Circle line) and tons of dining options. The rooms are efficiency apartments with full kitchens and some with washer/dryers. The staff is right there when you need them but, otherwise, you are left alone, which is great.
Fabulous place
Fabulous place to stay
We loved our stay. The apartment was excellent and the staff so friendly and helpful. Brilliant central location.
Loved it.
We had an excellent stay. The cleanliness of this place is unmatched. Sweety was a dream. I’d messed up my booking but she graciously resolved the issue for us. We stayed in the studio and then the one bedroom on our last night. Definitely recommend! Thank you, Cove!
Nice rooms, great staff, clean, spacious, convenient, great value for the money, highly recommend!
Spacious apartments. Has all you need for a good stay.
Clean, functional with everything available to make the apartment itself pleasant and comfortable. The multilingual staff was fliendly, professional and knowledgeable answering all the questuons we had. Wonderful experience.
A great fit for my requirements.
My third stay. Accommodation is well-designed, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The location is handy for me, close to my London Office and relevant transport links. Reception is friendly, when there.
wonderful place. Was upgraded to a one bedroom which was well appointed an comfortable. The kitchen had plates glasses, etc. there was even a washer dryer in the apartment which was very convenient.
We just got home from a 12 day stay at The Cove Cannon Street. Our stay was perfect. Centrally located serviced apartment, friendly/helpful staff, CLEAN, well stocked, (even laundry/dishwasher soaps) and a cool local vibe are just a few reasons why we loved our stay. We would go back without hesitation. We booked the 1 b/r apartment for myself & husband and our 17 yr old son. We had stayed at a ‘fancy’ hotel for a few days before moving to The Cove for a more affordable stay & to be honest, we all loved The Cove more than our first stay. The Cove has all the comforts of home, in-room kitchen, laundry, gym, right next to tube station(s), restaurants, pubs, shops, & grocer. Room was also VERY spacious & clean. Our room was cleaned weekly but anytime we needed anything, it was a quick request and arrived in minutes (towels, garbage bags..) One thing I will say is that next time we would probably get the 2 b/r. Our teenager stayed on the pull-out sofa & my husband and I had the bedroom. It wasn’t the most comfortable pull-out for a 17 y/o, 6’2” growing boy. We did call down and one of the housekeeping attendants quickly brought up a thick mattress and put it on top of the bed and made the bed up again. This helped a lot and my son said it was great. He had no problems sleeping. I think for little children it would be no problem but next time we’d book the 2 b/r. We arrived early on our first day & the staff accommodated us no problem with a street view! We can’t wait to return!
This little apartment had everything we needed! It was VERY clean, had so many sites within a walkable distance (St. Paul’s cathedral, Shakespeare’s globe, Tate Modern art museum, even the West End Strand shows weren’t too far). Plus there was tube entrance next door for longer trips. Loved this modern apartment!
Excellent staff and management that made our stay one of the best we’ve experienced in London. If you are looking for a place that feels more like a flat than hotel yet has essential hotel services, this is your place. Centrally located, esp to access the Tate Modern and Southbank.
Excellent in every way.
Excellent in every way from check-in to checkout and in a central London location. Very helpful staff.
Good property, clean and safe with great location in central london.
Great choice for central London
The staff were very helpful before and during the stay. The location was superb and very close to multiple tube stops. The area is not really residential and most business-oriented but still good options for food and drinks nearby. The actual flat was comfortable and nicely-equipped. Having the kitchen and laundry/drier was really helpful. Would happily stay here again the next time we're in London.
Loved our stay at Cove - Cannon Street! We had a cozy, comfortable studio apartment with great amenities. It was peacefully quiet in the apartment/building. We really appreciated the AC and the laundry facilities which were free with detergent provided. The staff were friendly and helpful. We hope to be back again someday!
Very clean, quiet, well-equipped studio apartment for our London trip. We had 2 Large studio rooms booked, both were very nice, though one was larger with a larger sitting area. Both had small kitchenette with a washing machine, fridge (larger room had fridge/freezer), very basic kitchen necessities and all the normal hotel room items. VERY quiet, felt very secure and the addition of AC in the rooms was welcome. I'm not sure why we paid the same rate for the rooms as one was larger, but both worked very well. Parked at NCP London Vintry Thames (3-5 min walk with luggage), and paid £73.90/$91 for parking (2 nights, from 4pm first day until 1030am last day) which we found very reasonable for being in the heart of London. If you drive make sure you check if you need to pay emissions or congestion fees. 1 min walk to Mansion House Tube station, 5 mins walk to St Pauls, 3-4 mins walk to the Thames, 15 mins walk to the Tower, 10 mins walk to the Globe Theatre. The DOWNSIDE of the area is that it is more of a business district, and we had difficulty finding an open pub/restaurant on a Saturday night to have dinner and drinks. There were very few people around at the weekend, and so many of the pubs and restaurants remained closed during our stay. Several grocery store options within a 15 min walk, including a Sainsburys local 3 mins walk away. Overall, a very quiet, comfortable, and convenient place to stay for a London trip. Would happily return and recommend to others.
Good location and price quality proposition. Staff was very nice and helpfull.
Fantastic option for long stays, especially with kids. I just wish the mattress was in better condition from the sofa bed. Having a kitchenette & washer/dryer is wonderful & makes it easier with the longer stays, especially when youre not wanting to eat out every meal.
