Location ! Location ! Center of action shopping , dining , easy access to Sorrento Port . Clean and comfortable accomodation Easy to find and straight line to bus stop. Check in was fast with someone checked us in. Very professional and prompt communication. Highly recommended. We enjoyed Sorrento.
Location was fantastic
Wonderful stay. Fantastic location. Easy to walk everywhere (train station is <10 min walk, cobblestone most of the way but doable with suitcase). The property has been recently renovated, everything is new, just like in the pictures. Super comfortable bed and temperpeudic pillow. AC works very well. The only downside is that there are two flights of stairs without elevator. If you have tons of luggage and alone, not your place. Some people commented on the noise from the street and the church bells. We didn’t even notice. Just close the windows. This is a great value for the money and would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful stay!! Clean spacious. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathroom was amazing. At night it was super nice. The shops ,cafe & bar and restaurants all walking distance.
Stay here!!! It’s literally brand new!! Perfect location, you can literally walk everywhere in Sorrento and the host booked all of our excursions through them! Highly recommend
The check in went smoothly. Apartment was nice, clean and worked fine for us. We loved the fact that the air conditioning worked extremely well. We would stay there again.
Amazing location & such a spacious accommodation! We absolutely loved our stay in Sorrento at Corso Italia Suites!
The staff was very helpful by meeting us when we arrived and helping us with our tour reservations. The room was comfortable and clean, and Sorrento is a great place to visit.
Value for money
Amazing location and awesome staff!
Excellent service! Got the card to access the room as soon as we arrived. Very quick to answer questions via WhatsApp Will go back again
We were pleasantly surprised at how big the suite was. It’s spacious and having a living room with couch was really nice. The room was clean, central location and a short walk to the water. Staff were very communicative prior to our stay and coordinated with us on our arrival so we didn’t have to wait. The only downfall was that there is construction going on in the building so it was quite loud in the mornings.
Corso Italia Suites is in a fabulous location if you are visiting Sorrento as it’s right in the mix! Everything is literally at your doorstep. The apartment itself is even better than in the photos - it’s spacious, clean, with a functional kitchenette (which we made use of) and a beautiful balcony on which to enjoy a meal or a pre-dinner drink. I would genuinely recommend Corso Italia Suites to family and friends.
Corso Italia suite - perfect location,
The Corso Italia Suite was perfect we had advice on the best way to get to the apartment from Naples airport and it was very easy to find from the train/bus terminal. The apartment is right in the heart of the town on the Main Street but in the apartment is very quiet. It is spotlessly clean and has the bonus of the kitchenette. We absolutely loved it and would fully recommend staying at Corso Italia Suites.
The location is perfect, on a lively street with lots of stores, restaurants, and bars. The train station is also close. The suite was clean, spacious, ans well decorated. The housekeepers were phenomenal, friendly, and accommodating. The street was a bit loud at night, but that didn't bother us. Unfortunately, the management doesn't seem to care whether you have a nice stay or not, which totally ruins the whole stay. On the first morning, we were woken up by loud banging (constructions of some sort) from the apartment nextdoor (which they own) around 5-6am. We informed them, to which they replied they would look into it. Then again on the last morning, we heard the loud banging again around 7am. They clearly did nothing to resolve this and would rather just proceed with the constructions. We were never informed when we booked or at check-in that there would be constructions going on very early in the morning during our stay. Why did they think people who are on vacation would be ok with loud noises at 6am in the morning? Furthermore, it doesm't seem like they want to check you in late, even if you're willing to pay the late check-in fee. They suggested that we take an earlier train than we wanted so that we would arrive earlier. If you plan to arrive late, consider another place so that you don't feel pressured to change your travel plan to accommodate them. Avoid at all costs iyou would like to actually get any sleep and have a relaxing vacation.
Great location
Nice apartment style hotel. Check-in was easy. The owners communicated every step of the way and made check-in process easy. Room was clean. The location was excellent. Central to shopping, dining and public transportation. Having no elevator in the building was not an issue for us. But the reason I gave 4stars is because the room we stayed in, the shower kept over flowing/splashing water outside the bathing area no matter how careful we tried to be. Other than that the stay was excellent.
Exceeded our expectations. Perfect for a family of four
My experience at this hotel was excellent The room's cleanliness, A/C units, and unbeatable location made it a top-notch choice. Situated in a prime spot, it offered easy access to all the attractions. Whether it was strolling along the bustling streets or visiting nearby landmarks, everything was within walking distance. This made exploring the city a delight, as I could immerse myself in the vibrant surroundings without any hassle.
Good location, clean, friendly and efficient manager. A little too noisy if you are in a room near the street. Would stay again, but will ask for another room.
The property is very nice and is clean. However it’s situated in a “party place” and truly one cannot get a good night sleep. I will not recommend unless one wants to party all night long. Too bad.
Great location on the Main Street of the old city.
The unit was very comfortable, a fantastic size, and had everything we needed. The property staff were excellent communicators, getting in touch with me weeks before our visit to be sure everything with check-in would go smoothly and see if we needed any assistance planning our visit. I would definitely stay there again, if/when I return to Sorrento.
Great location and very responsive staff. Our apartment overlooked the main street and is great for people watching. Close to everything.
Clean, spacious suites
Everything was nice, but the walls were all concrete and could not absorb any sound. The chair legs were metal and made great noises.
Everything was excellent! Highly recommended!
The location was perfect - central to everything, on a pedestrian street surrounded by shopping and dining. If you have a young child who needs silence to sleep you might struggle but it was perfect for us. The space was amazing - two bedrooms plus room to sleep in the living room. Two bathrooms. Very clean, bright, usable. The staff was great - she reached out on WhatsApp right after booking to set up transfers, arranged the cars and met us at the drop off to get us to the apartment and get us set up. She also went above and beyond receiving our lost luggage from Luftansa and holding it at a sister hotel. She just made everything so smooth and easy.
The location of this property was excellent...right on the main pedestrian area of the city. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The bathroom was brand new and beautiful. We unfortunately lost the key to the room shortly after arriving and had to contact them to come and bring us a new key and they were very prompt in bringing it, despite it being around 11pm. One very simple thing that could be changed sounds silly, but it is the color of the curtains that cover the windows. They were a green color that didn't go with the rest of the apartment. Besides this, the apartment was beautiful :)
Everything was amazing. The place is centrally located close to the mini grocery store, shops, restaurants and most of all the lift to the port. The room is spacious, great air condition. Wifi was a bit of slow at times but did not bother us at all. We never had issues with the place and the staff.
Spacious, light, clean place very centrally located in Sorrento. Communication with staff was spot on. We stayed here with our 1 year old toddler, and appreciated that space was kid friendly and that they provided a baby crib.
Sorrento
Every thing was fine except wifi was poor
Nice apartment near everything. Street outside has many shops, but can be noisy at night. Church bells wake you up in the morning. Some good restaurants nearby. Laundromat down the road if you need it!
Location Location Location!
Cozy apartment right off the main strip in Sorrento . Rooms were clean, a bit dated, but overall a good stay.
Give this one a miss
I stayed 1 week on 2 bed apartment, it was pretty bare and bleak looking. No dressing table, limited hot water made it impossible for me and my family (4 of us) to all shower in the morning. There was also a major ant infestation in kitchen and bedroom. I didn't cook any food but imagine this would be horrendous for anyone who wanted to. Cleaning was done once and ant spray was used in areas where there were suspected nests. TV only shows Italian channels.
NO flushing toilet during the night(s)
NO flushing toilet during the night(s) - was not made aware that this happens. Want to be able to flush the toilet at anytime. On a noisy street and close to a late licence bar!! (closed to vehicles on evenings). Will not stay again with these problems and would ask these questions if booking again. Paid for the room for 3 nights but your not getting to use the facilities when you want (water on a timer) make sure your not caught short, ill/poorly during the night!!!! or have a medical condition.
Sorrento Corso Italia Suites
The apartment was large and clean with 2 beadrooms and 2 bathrooms, very good air con. Stairs only to 2nd floor. Location was excellent, lots of shops, cafes, restraunts, bars near by, we ate out a lot (many pizzas) meals were very nice. Very clean safe area. Lots of day trips available, we found Pompeii very interesting.
Well located and good attention. Great experience at Sorrento and Capri.
Hard place to find.
We only had the street name- Corso Italia in Sorrento. Found name on building with a phone number as we had arrived later in evening. The travel agent turn up, very friendly, and led us to apartment. End of Corso Italia street. The apartment was for up to six people. Two bedrooms and a bed settee, that did not work.
pic is diff from actual room. will not stay here anymore. hotels.com need to review their pics submitted. room was totally diff. not even one bit the same. wifi also cannot be received in the bed room. street v v noisy.
NEVER NEVER NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL
The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Other than that our experience was horrible. We reserved 2 BEDROOMS apartment, and when we arrived, we were told that the living room was a bedroom. Plus the bathroom is inside the only room, and if you travel with friends that is very inconvenient. Another horrible thing was the CLEANNESS of the place. It looks was never cleaned. All sheets and conforteis were dirt. We stayed 7 nights and they never came to clean and not even to replace the toilet paper. We asked them to clean the apartment and they said that they will clean once at the middle of our stay, but they never did. We wanted to clean every other day, but they said was 25 Euros for overtime they came to clean. THEY NEVER CLEAN IT! Plus, we were for people and they and gave us 2 towels. We asked for more and the lady gave us the one that is used to put on the floor. the next day, she gave us 2 more. The towers had stains and they did not replace them. They said to replace the towels was 10 Euros per person. This hotel/apartment sucks. If you are the kind of person that wants to have a nice stay at Sorrento, DO NOT STAY THERE!
Great Location ..... and that's all.
The place is good for space ... quite spacious specially if your travelling with two children....and had a really central location .... just a few steps away from the main square.. Extremely poor bed linen .... the place is generally quite run down... the shower is extremely small... one can hardly fit in.... bidette was leaking and only dispensed boiling hot water if at all. There were several hours in the day when the flush would not work at all. There was no cleaning facility included in your price ( which is quite steep ) for the entire 5 day stay... so we had the same towels and face napkins... we had a utility room right next door... the cleaning staff would access it at odd hours and it was really disturbing and noisy. Really badly needs to be refurbished..... no basic amenities like an electric kettle or tea/ coffee sache's provided... very limited cutlery n crockery. Overall not happy and would not stay there again.
Comfortable apartment right on the main street,
Convenient for all shops/restaurants. Quiet first floor apartment. One bed and a good size sofa bed. Tina, in the travel agency, where you get the keys, is very helpful.
Clean, good sized apartment in a central location. Everything we needed
Fabulous Sorrento
The Corso Italia Suite that we stayed in was good. It was very spacious and close to everything. However, the church bells were only across the street and rang often. The staff were very helpful and addressed any problems quickly.
Convenient apartments, in busy area.
Our stay at the Corso-Italia Suites was decent, the staff was really friendly when we checked in and helpful anytime we had questions about the area, the apartments were well kept and clean, and it was a really central location with lots of bars, cafes, and gelateria's nearby. My only complaint comes from the noise around the apartments. We stayed in the first apartment overlooking the main downtown street in Sorrento and between the bar downstairs and the busy street out front, it was really loud outside all night long which made it difficult to get really rested.
Amazing place to stay in the heart of Sorrento. Cosy room, clean, bathroom very nice and never short of hot water. Slept well every night. Woken only by the sun and beautiful chirping birds on neighbouring roof gardens.
Great location. Very spacious.
Nice apartment in the heart of Sorrento. Close to many shops and restaurants. Spacious for a family of 4.
overall wonderful place
We had 2 apts, 1 for parents, one for teen sons. Both were very nice for the price. View of street and mountains was terrific, layout of rooms, etc. If I stayed again I would be sure to request 2 apts in the same wing because we were separated by a locked door. We also could have easily managed one apt. with the pullout couches but we splurged for these nights.
Big well maintained apartment
The apartment is large and well maintained. It was less than 10 minutes walk from the station and a similar time to get to the harbour. It was close to little lanes full of shops and restaurants in the most scenic part of Sorrento. We would definitely stay there again.
perfect location for the price. huge and spacious with kitchenette, just down the street from the main square and within walking distance to train station for amalfi coast bus/train/ferry to capri....amazing stay. would stay here again next time in Sorrento. no breakfast, no cleaning service, just like your own apartment for the entire stay so you own it for the duration!
for sure i will recomand to friends
great apartment, and great people at the reception. thanks
Perfect location
It was a bit hard to find the office (where to get the keys) but once you find it they will do everything to make your stay pleasant. The apartments are located in the heart of Sorrento and they are very clean and properly maintained. I would recommend this place. Note: the office is closed for lunch at midday so checking might be a bit hard if you arrive from 1pm to 4 pm
Nice apartment in the ideal location
Fantastic apartment in a good location - ours was further down the corso Italia from Tasso square than some of the other suites, but within easy walking distance of the station for links to Pompeii, Naples, Amalfi etc. Great size, comfy beds and ideally placed for sorrento shops, bars and restaurants. Basic kitchen (essentially an ikea bedsit 'kitchen in a wardrobe' - typical sink, microwave, fridge combo and all you need got coffee, toast etc. of a morning). Would recommend and would use again.
The apartment was in a great location and very spacious however the kitchen was very basic.
Spacious, clean and close to everything.
Anna Maria met us and showed us through the suite. Very welcoming and helpful.
Good Price, Good Location.
Hotel was great value. Close to city center. Only thing is there is no elevator and we were on 5th floor. That said they helped us carry the bags to floor 4 which is really floor 5 in Italy. Everything was as expected for the price, and we had a good time at this location. We had 2 adults and 2 children (12 and 16) and the room was very spacious.
quick visit to Sorrento
Only minor issue, a bit lacking on kitchen utensils, apart from that it suited all of our needs perfectly, would use it again and would recommend it
Noisy, overpriced, dirty.
Good location, apart from the brass band playing outside, the fireworks/pocket rockets going off and the fact you can hear every word from the neighbours. The bed is very hard, the room was not that clean when we checked in, and very dirty 6 days later. The shower room was at least 20 years past needing replacing. Would have expected to pay €50 a night for this standard, not €150!!! Aircon worked though, so thumbs up for that, and the room was a good size.
Good location
Excellent location in Sorrento, can't fault that but be careful. If you are wanting to self cater these apartments are pretty much useless to do that. The kitchen unit was basically a cupboard in the room.. 2 electric rings and no where to actually prepare food. Only 1 mirror in the whole apartment which is in the bathroom. The bed was really comfortable though!
Great central location in the heart of Sorrento.
This is a suite so seperate bedroom and bathroom which was great. Is on the main street close to the heart of Sorrento so conveniently located to everything. 5 minute walk from the station so no need to drive there or get a car. It provided us with a relaxed environment as we had everything at the front door. Close to marina for ferry to Capri. 1/2 day chauffered car to Positano and Amalfi was great.
Sorrento weeks holiday
Mint location. Could do with a little TLC. kitchen area not that well equipt and microwave had not glass tray and very old. Only real thing that bugged me was the microwave as we like hot milk drinks. Having said that I would stay here again as the little bits are forgotten for the location.
Average
an average establishment where location is good but lack of reception make arrival experience ordinary
comfortable apartment stay for 3 nights (with 3 people)
Great location in a lovely town. Lots to explore and comfortably housed three of us for three nights. We cooked breakfast and ate out after noon. Was only one wooden spoon (no spatulas or other cooking utensils)... our teapot was also broken, though functional. Imagine this all depends on which apartment you get. Only real problem was that our one bedroom was a little cramped but the full apartment was spacious and the sofa bed was comfortable. All in all, a very nice and satisfactory stay!
good location, BAD SMELL
was not happy and cancelled 2nd and 3rd nights stay- however the owner did refund my money, cudos to him!
Avoid it - regardless of price
1/ Owner cancelled one of our rooms by accident, had to fight her to find us a place to stay that night and honor the rest of the reservation. 2/ sofa was broken, pregnant guest had to sleep on the floor. 3/ was made to move rooms twice. 4/ had to fight for a discount to put up with all that was wrong. More wrong than right :(
Good location and good size aptmt
Had a good stay. Main room good size although the beds were not that comfy. Kitchen good although microwave was basic and noisy. Bathroom excellent although shower leaked water. Don't expect to get soap or a change of towels or the room serviced. We had it for 6 days. We were generally happy although it would be great if a washing machine/drier came with the apartment. All in all good value for money.
Above average
The apartment we stayed in was of a good standard. Clean functional, well cared for but very minimal. You literally have 4 glasses, (all wine), no kettle until we asked for one. No sharp knife for food preparation or bread knife. Just enough of everything. compact, (all furniture IKEA), kitchen has a hob but no oven so food preparation is almost impossible except for breakfast and light lunches. Its location is what makes it. On the main street with the bedroom at the back, therefore relatively quiet but its city living so there is always noise. Could not be more central. People in the travel agent downstairs are very helpful but not open Sundays. Note Water is very hard so its difficult for them to keep clean and tea has a film on it.
Excellent location
Accommodation was excellent - apartment was in a super location convenient to the centre of Sorrento. Car parking was provided at a reduced rate in a nearby public car park. Only problem was we were not informed in relation to the exact location of the check in point or were not instructed to make contact in advance so we had a problem in finding the apartment - apart from this oversight everything else was excellent.
Nice condo in the center of Sorrento
Staffs were very nice and location was also perfect in the center of Sorrento. You can pretty much get to any places easily and its also near good famous restaurants and the harbor. Room was clean and size was alright.
Good location, however very basic
Good location and large sized apartment, however the apartment was really basic. It said online that it was a fully stocked kitchen however there were no teatowels/anything to dry dishes and no dish rack. There was no salt or pepper or even olive oil yet there was a salt and pepper shaker. There was a kettle for the stove and an electric kettle however both had HUGE amounts of lime scale in them, there was so much in the kettle that it was starting to full out the spout. The apartment was a good size, however it was dark as there were hardly any windows (this was due to the weird layout). The apartment itself didn't seem that clean however it was all wooden floors and on closer inception it just needed a good dusty! It was also quite lifeless , old and un-loved. The location was good as it was only 5min walk to the train station and less to the supermarket. It was about a 10-15min to the ferry to Capri. We asked the day before we checked out what time we needed to check out and if we could leave our bags somewhere, the gentleman in the office couldn't tell us either of these things and said to come back to speak to one of the ladies - a bit weird for a travel company, as we thought this seemed like a normalish question! Overall I wouldn't recommend this apartment as the apartment did not match the description online nor the photos (the photos looked new and clean vs what it was).
Great location in the city centre
We had a wonderful stay in the middle of Sorrento. Really good ratio of quality\price.
would stay again
Great location, clean accomodations. HOWEVER, this is an apartment rental and there is no office to go to. We arrived at 4:30 and went next door to the touri shop as the sign on the door directs, but there was noone tthere. Someone who lives in the building happened to see us and found a phone number to call and then someone came to register us. Also the WIFI did not work and had to be repaired the next day. No Credit cards.......only Euros or travelers checks.
Excellent location in the center of town...
Corso Italia suites are basic apartments (with no frills) in the center of Sorrento. The apartments are not located in one central building but rather several buildings spread out on the main shopping street, Corso Italia. (hence the name) The apartment we stayed in (#8) was located on the top floor of the building and had an elevator. Other apartments do not and you must walk and carry your luggage up and down. The apartment we stayed in was clean with two bedrooms, comfortable beds, a nice size living room with pull-out couch and a full galley kitchen. (No basic amenities such as salt, sugar provided which would be nice.) The bathroom is typically older European with a bathtub shower that is a huge step to get into or out of. (NOT suitable for older people who can easily fall getting in or out). This apartment was bright and light and had excellent A/C but do not expect a decent WIFI connection. The other apartments we looked at however were very disappointing and the pictures that are posted are not accurate of what the apartment looks like. They are tired and worn and in desperate need of a redo! Before booking I would highly recommend getting up-to-date pictures of the EXACT apartment you will be staying in so it eliminates any surprises or problems. Anna maria in the office is a pleasure. She helped our friends find a room at the Hilton when they were terribly upset and angry with the accommodations.
Nice comfortable apartament
I traveled with my two children (22 and 18) and my wife. Suite had 3 different sleeping areas, was clean, renovated. Staff was very helpful. The place is walking distance from Ferry/bus station as well as several restaurants.
Loved our stay :)
We travelled with 3 kids, ages 10,9 and 5. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment, which was great for us. The location was perfect, right on a Main Street. We chose to walk to the beach every morning, but public transport is available nearby. We would definitely stay there again !!
Very good location. Nice and clean property with all the required amenities provided. Company managing the property very responsive and available all the time for any help or queries.
