Big rooms, great service, close to everything!
We were able to find a sizable suite for our family of 5. It had ample room to rest and relax along with an extra large countertop in the bathroom for everyone’s essentials. We found it to be the exact room we needed to be able to explore the Midtown area. The location was convenient for our plans around the city to shop, eat and see a play on Broadway. The decor was modern and clean, and we would stay here again.
This is a great option for families. The rooms are sizable and is great condition. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this hotel to any family visiting NYC.
My family and I stayed the weekend before Christmas and had an excellent experience at this hotel. It’s clean, the rooms are large for NYC, the staff are helpful, and it’s in an ideal location. I will most certainly return.
Beautiful room, great staff, great bathroom and water pressure. AC great, all of it was fantastic
Stayed here multiple times and always pleasant, comfortable, and convenient location
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout entire stay.
Beautiful room with comfortable bed. No view, not very informative at check in. Great location. Would stay there again.
We asked for a King suite and got a queen. Nothing like pictured. At the price I paid, you expect everything to be perfect, but it was subpar. The baggage person was the only one with good attitude. I was disappointed.
The property was well kept. The suites were spacious and comfortable with streaming/ cast capabilities. The staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant on property and room service. Nightly turn down service with fresh waters and chocolates. Only downside was I purchased a suite with sofa bed but the sofa was not a bed. I will need to reach out about that. Other than that, great location central to shops, subway, restaurants and entertainment. I’d definitely stay again.
This was a great location for our family trip. We saw a broadway show and went shopping. I would recommend this place to anyone. The staff was amazing.
First visit and my room was spacious, well designed and well appointed. Checkin was easy.
Very clean, with attentive staff.
Loved everything about this property
We love it here. It is in great location perfectly situated in midtown. Restaurant is wonderful and great warm accommodating staff. The Rooms are big and roomy with spacious areas including real nice bed closet areas and bathrooms, especially considering this is manhattan. Clean and simply modern (but not stuffy or pretentious) updates with that 1Hotel-like smell. Within a few minutes walk you can be in broadway, times square or central park etc. Great value for what you get; highly recommend.
Great hotel a great location
Staff was excellent! We were granted an early check-in and late checkout, with no Marriott status. The line for the front desk does get very busy in the evenings. Room was excellent very spacious for the location. Recommend!
I have been staying in this property for the past 16 years! Love it here!! My second home!!!!
Great stay in NYC
First time stay for a family of four. The Luxury Collection did not disappoint. Perfect set up for a family of four with a separate small bedroom and master suite. The staff was probably the most attentive, responsive, and polite that we have experienced since before the pandemic. Overall, we will definitely be excited to book our next stay and will recommend the property to all of friends and family. Well done!
Very nice hotel
When checking in, we were told they didn’t have the room we booked through Expedia. After going back and forth for two hours, we finally got the room we booked. The tV in the bedroom didn’t work either.
Every single employee and staff encounter was exceptional. Not kidding. Not hyperbole.
We thought Hôtel was very good. We booked two rooms but we were told they didn’t have two beds which was why we chose the hotel. So they “upgraded” the room however the room was a bed with a pull out and smelled horrible of must. The other room we had was wonderful. The smelly room was 3712. Otherwise the location was great to UWS/UES and Times Square but not loud. Close to subway. We would stay here again I think just unfortunate experience because it was Thanksgiving weekend.
Beautiful and elegant rooms, kind service, unbelievably gorgeous views from floor 49 !
Thank you
Magnificent hotel, great location, excellent service!
You walk in the hotel and are faced with a 20 minute wait to check in.
Dining was not as good as hoped.
Five + Stars
The Luxury was an amazing hotel, large newly renovated rooms, and great service. Would highly recommend. 5-Stars.
Great stay in NYC. The location was perfect for what we were doing, easy to walk to so much. Hotel staff was very attentive and the stay was so comfortable. We kept saying how we would definitely stay there again.
We had a great stay here! The room was spacious and very nice, and the service was great. Would recommend this hotel!
Staff at checkin was unfriendly. The room was cold, blowing cold air instead of hot, they sent technician, he repaired it, I asked him to unlock the thermostat so I can raise the temperature and he replied that I should be fine. They don't allow you to warm up the room, it is cold. When it blows hot air for a while, it starts blowing COLD air for hours. The telephone was not working. The bathroom vanity had broken bulbs. The toilet is broken.
The Hotel was amazing , and my room beautiful
Great hotel and felt very safe in New York while staying there. It’s very pricey though and they charged me with transportation fees but never brought us anywhere. We felt like they charged us with unnecessary fees.
Sketchy outside at end of block and near bar next door
Excellent service. Welcoming staff
Good , solid hotel
Not good
Thisnhotel is not upgraded from the Conrad brand and is now twice the price. Tye comkon areas and restaurant are tired and the lobby staff unavailable and understaffed for the ratio of customers to staff so they are short with clients . Overall this is not a good hotel only convenient
Nice place to stay all good
Took our two kids (8-6) for the first time to NYC. The hotel was amazing. We book the suite and the room was very specious and clean. It was a perfect size for a party of four. The hotel restaurant/ bar is really good. Prices are a bit high compared to other places near by. We really enjoyed our time there
The hotel was absolutely fabulous! It was so spacious and comfortable. Just really enjoyed it. So close to everything and a little haven to retreat back to in the evening. If we ever get back to New York again this is where we will be staying.
Awful experience.
The service was awful to the time I checked out. I asked them to email me the receipt when I checked out, I still haven't received it. I was overcharged 3 times!!
Nightmare hotel.
We will NEVER stay at this hotel again! The service horrible. Staff is rude. THEY DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE!
At check in we could not get the room type we requested on time. This was a huge pain. Also property is looking very tired. We were here in Nov 2022 and there is a noticable decline in the property - rooms are tired; restaurant bathrooms are totally gross. Staff friendly and doing their best - but I will not return to this property.
Had a great time.
Everything about this hotel was great! The staff was helpful and friendly and the room was clean and new.
Facility doesn’t live up to its name
This hotel is in a fantastic location - it makes so much of the city and it's attractions walkable. We got a great deal on our room, which was HUGE by NYC standards. The bed was very comfortable and the room overall felt very very clean. The only nit-picky issues we experienced were: 1. The room is showing wear and tear (stain on the carpet, stain on the curtain, mildew stains on the seam where the shower wall meets the tile). 2. The cleaning and restocking from housekeeping was not consistent. They did a great job, but the coffee supplies and glassware that was used was inconsistently restocked. We finally had to call to ask for it. Again, this is not a deal breaker, but if we had paid full price for our room, those types of 'misses' would not have been acceptable at the luxury pricepoint. The staff were always friendly and willing to help - however, there was a definitely a sense that this was more a 'mid tier' hotel for service rather than a 5 star luxury experience. Would definitely recommend as long as expectations and the price are in alignment.
Great location and Hotel for our first trip to NY
Really nice one, great living experience
Great hotel, great hospitality and great location
Room review
The first suite had a broken thermostat and it was very hot. It took 5 calls over 4 hours to get the issue resolved and they moved us to another suite. The restaurant was a joke. The server was not interested in waiting on us. I ordered a hamburger and I specified I wanted it medium rare and it came well done! For $38 it should have been right. The server never came back and we had to hunt him down to get ketchup. The bill came and the service charge was added to the bill.( there were three adults and one child). Then there was a separate line for a gratuity! The service was nonexistent and the prices were exorbitant. The hotel was lovely once the room issues were resolved. I would recommend the hotel. Avoid the restaurant at all costs!
beautiful!
Outstanding Service
Great check in, excellent customer service, quiet, clean and centrally located in the heart of the city. The only minor downside are the pillows. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend.
Everyone was so friendly, we had a few small glitches but nothing too major
Good location
Weren't able to check in until 5 hours past check in at 3pm. Over booked and lied about it saying the cleaning staff were slow and then gave us a room without the pullout sofa bed that we booked. They did take off the cheaper of the two nights but initially only wanted to comp us a dinner in the restaurant. Location is great and very spacious especially for a hotel room in NYC.
Amazing hotel! Located in a perfect location within walking distance to Central Park and Times Square. Our suite was stunning and spacious!
Lights in the bathroom not working, mini bar glasses dirty, towels had holes in them, restaurant breakfast service bellow par, room cleaning service was not provided daily
Luxury Collection Best Hotel For Touring NYC
We had an exceptional time staying at the Luxury Collection hotel. Its location was ideal for us to be able to walk to and from the top sites in the city. We will definitely choose this hotel again when we visit NYC in the near future.
It was nice
Great Staff. Comfortable quiet hotel in the middle of midtown. Convenient location.
Luxury hotel for sure, nice location, etc. For the price they charge, they should include breakfast or at least have a free coffee. Don’t expect any at this location.
It was ok. I wouldn’t say it is “luxury” or rate it 5 stars. It is clear they are under staffed but if there was more staffing to help with requests, it would be a better experience. For example, waited over 2 hours for someone to bring sheets/blankets/pillows for pull out sofa. No one came to clean up room at all on second day. Called hotel service a couple times only to ring and ring and ring and never answer. This isn’t high quality service.
Overall a good hotel choice for manhattan! A few smaller issues: tiny lobby with almost no seating area, feels claustrophobic, likely a typical manhattan hotel issue. Minibar is censured and full, no way to refrigerate anything such as water or anything you bring with you. Took long after 4pm to get the room, but we got nice rooms eventually.
Location and cleanliness
The property was gorgeous, the suite I stayed in was very clear and spacious. The front desk was very helpful as well. I highly recommend this stay.
Great property and staff. Restaurant super overpriced for the food quality offered. No taste, no creativity. Restaurant is not up to the standards but the hotel. Breakfast tasted like a high school cafeteria.
7 min walking to time square , friendly staff
Worst the experience I ever had at a 5 star hotel. Dirty and disgusting. Over charged and I had to ask for refund on the mini bar we never used and over charged on parking. Got my refund but will NEVER go again. Flies in the room and stains everywhere. Motel standards!
We had issues in the beginning with our room conditions. It took a while before it got cleared up and finally got our room. The view on 50th floor was stunning. The hotel needs a desperate update. But room service and employees 10/10. I would only recommend if hotel gets updated. Location is great!!!
Worse service
Was locked out of my room and had problems w charges that took several attempts to correct
Perfect arrangements and great customer service
Room not new
Very nice room, helpful staff, very much enjoyed my stay.
great
The lobby is very small, the condition of the property is poor. We had to move a room because of window not closing- noise. I would expect more from the Conrad brand
Great stay, beautiful hotel
friendly staff
Very nice
The hotel is close to Central Park, MoMA, Times square, etc. The hotel room was quiet enough despite its location and the view from my 47th floor was great. My room was not very clean on the first day as the hotel rooms were all sold out but housekeeping service from the second day was impeccable. The shower booth was spacious and the water was soft and warm without any sudden temperature change. The best part of this hotel is the two queen size beds in a bedroom -a rare choice in Manhattan!
Perfect in every way. Best location, service, and everything in between
Perfect hotel stay for a small family. The living room worked out well with young kids. Great central location where we were able to walk to everything. Also quick valet service where as other hotels we have stayed at can take 45 min to retrieve your vehicle. We never waited more then 10 minutes to get ours. We visit NYC multiple times a year and will stay here again in the future.
Location, location, that’s location. Close to everything, shopping, dining, theaters, museums, especially Central Park!
Always great service , helpful dedicated employees!
Great location. Easy subway access. King bed comfortable. Sofa bed not so much and mattress was stained. Staff very helpful
Wonderful location and hotel
Wonderful location, safe and QUIET!!! We were never bothered by street noise bc it’s a small street and not noisy. We got an upgrade upon arrival and it was a wonderful room with a separate living room. So spacious and comfortable.
Check in was clumsy and they did not have the crib ready for us like I had asked. They also gave us a room with a queen bed when I booked a king. Would stay again as the hotel is nice and location good, but details like this are what differentiate 4 star from 5 star. Service and attention to detail is much better at the St. Regis.
Definitely not a 5 Star hotel. Nice big bathroom though.
I loved this property and location. Close to subways, shows, central location. We did get a complimentary upgrade to a higher floor. I did ask for a early check in and had to pay $200 for that , I wasn’t told that my Credit Card would be charged 2 times . They said the extra $200 charge would drop off. We. Check in on Thursday and still was on hold on Monday. No big deal, just would have been nice to know in advance. The only downfall for me was the cost of in hotel dining was extremely expensive, which I understand.
Excellent service
Excellent staff service!
Very good value for the price. Reserve a suite if staying a few days.
Great stay alittle pricey but overall great stay!!
Nice
Beautiful suite room
The suite that I booked was spacious and cute. Great location
Jimmy at the front desk was very nice when he checked us in!
Very good location. Valet parking was well worth it! Staff knowledgeable and pleasant.
