Old facilities but really near to the slopes

Proximity to mountain

The design is a little dated, but still in good shape and well maintain. The view is awesome, so close to the slopes and the main chalet. Totally worth the price. We could hear the BRs working on slopes between 3 and 5am, so I suggest light sleepers to carry ear plugs. Only one out of three heard them tho.

Great location at the bottom of the slopes, short walk to the hill and the restaurants. Clean rooms, good size with a fridge and coffee machine. We had a great stay skiing over the new year.

We were there for the first snowfall of the season! Not for skiing obviously, but given the fact that it's surprisingly close to Quebec City (under half an hour), it's a very nice place to stay if you're visiting the city outside ski season! And its surroundings are very beautiful.

It is a skier lodge, pretty bare-bones, clean, the room is large. The TV could be a little larger for example.

The room and bathroom were clean. The beds are comfortable. They could have more pillows for greater comfort. The air conditioning was too loud and noisy. In the bathroom there was a shampoo used.

It was overall a great experience staying at stoneham. The staff was kind and helpful, the rooms were nice and tidy.

The property is surrounded between hills which gives a great feeling.

You must have continuous access to the as there’s no nearby dining places. I wish they had a restaurant so that I could enjoy the scenic views while eating as I checked in the late evening and checked out in the morning.

It was good except the curtains need to cover the lights outside esp in the morning, the lights did go through so in two 2 days, we woke up very early. The curtains need to cover all. Ty

If you don’t have your own vehicle, it is very difficult to get transportation. The hotel was nice. The area around it is so beautiful.

A, young, well-trained and helpful staff made our stay that much more enjoyable. Eager to be helpful whenever we had a need, the staff was consistently pleasant. Our experience, thanks to them, was "tres agradable"!

Hors-saison de ski, donc beaucoup moins achalandé. Assez proche de Québec pour pouvoir visiter la ville. Un bon 20 min d'autos, mais plus calme et plus frais que la ville.

Very quiet room ,very clean . Very large space in the room . We slept very well, comfort. Free coffee . The staff are very polite and try to help us. The outdoor is full nature with a view on ski slopes . Neighborhood is fantastic with a nice pool. Nice place to eat near the hotel.

Lovely location that is close enough to the city via driving. Very quiet and peaceful place to enjoy during the summer off season.

Great place to stay while exploring Quebec City. Lots of hiking and biking and only 20 minutes from the old city.

This property was conveniently located for visiting the Parc National de la Jacques Cartier. We used it as a place to sleep. It was clean and met our needs.

Nice location, friendly and helpful staff, property and room was clean as we stayed for 3 nights. Bed was really comfortable. Microwave and toaster at the reception. AC didn’t work as well as we expected.

There are no hot tubs , pool isnt working , 3 night stays no housekeeper, they even told us to bring the garbage down ourselves , worst hotel experience ever

Nice stay at a ski-in/out hotel

Was a nice stay. The hotel was quiet and clean.

Ideally located for ski

The location of the hotel is ideal located for ski, very close to the slopes and amenities. Room was very spacious and exceeded our expectations, as it had not only 2 queen-size beds but also a convertible sofa. The hotel is not recently renovated, but clean, and everything was working as expected. A microwave oven would have been useful in the room, as restaurants were closed due to Covid (there is a microwave oven in the lobby though, that customers can use).

Il faudrait qu'ils informent les clients en partant que tous les restos de l'hôtel sont fermés, qu'il n'y a pas de service aux chambres et qu'il faut aller chercher nos serviettes et savon nous même. Piscine fermée la moitié du temps.

Not a good stay

Terrible.. carpet was filthy room is very old we did not get any room service lack of ice in the building even though they said they had plenty ( front desk supplying ice because of covid 19)..

rude staff, closed pool even thought the weather was perfect.

Breakfast wasn't served, though it was written

We were received by the hotel authority. When we booked the ticket it was showing that breakfast is included bit when we reached there, the hotel receptionist told us that by error Hotels.com showed that. We need to contact hotels .com. we were astonished cause we got better hotels with breakfast but we booked this one as Hotels.com recommended this. We had to drive to another place for breakfast and that caused delay in our trip. Please don't cheat with clients

Wonderful view on the mountain. Simple room, but with all you need. Parking need to be better cleaned (12 inches of deep slush).

Loved the location, could not be better, however not being able to open the window at bedtime for fresh air was a huge faux pas, also not having more than one trolly while checking in and out made things difficult given the amount of stuff we need while on a ski vacation. À minor problem was not having easier access to ice for that all important ‘arrival cocktail’, but the reception ladies were fantastic as I or Expedia made a mistake on my reservations and all was solved with a smile and understanding. I would go back in a second especially if and only if I could open my window for that all important ´fresh air’, at night!

Location is great right next to the ski lifts and slopes. The only thing we did not like is the food options. Not much places to go in with the kids to eat in the evening. The property doesn’t offer breakfast as advertised.

Great weekend getaway

The rooms are a bit dated and the WiFi is behind the times. The location is fantastic, great food nearby, and the staff are wonderful.

Staff were not that friendly or helpful when checking but exceded our expectations when we forgot our thi g in the mini fridge. We phoned and they put everything aside for us and a few days later we picked them up. Then the lady at front desk was very helpful and friendly.

Spartan Racers: This is the place to stay.....

Stayed here for the Spartan Race. Great location, right on location.
