Great bed. Great TV. Those are the top two most important things to me. There was a fridge but no microwave or coffee pot, which I guess is part of Spark being the Hilton economy brand, and that is kind of a drag, but otherwise, loved it.

Lady at the front desk wouldn’t get off the phone to deal with us. Very rude lady at check-in and (same lady) check-out. Short with answers to our questions. Will not got back bc of her.

No coffee maker,ice bucket or cups in room. Very dissatisfied. The woman at the front desk was rude multiple times when requesting assistance. Very clear we were an nussance to her. The evening personal was very helpful and pleasant.

The only issue was the lack of a “hot” breakfast. Only options are bagels, cereal, and muffins.

I booked a king size room and when I got there they said they had no more king rooms. I wouldn’t of booked the room if I knew that was going to happen.

Very simple hotel, great for a single night stay when passing through. 24 hour airport shuttle is a lifesaver.

Staff was very friendly, room and bed was comfortable. The toilet made a noise after flushing, and bath was slow to drain but nothing super concerning, the breakfast was a bagel breakfast they had yogurt fruit a cereal.

The hotel was very quiet and clean. I will absolutely stay there again. The staff was also great and very helpful.

I stayed here for one night for a concert I was attending. The staff were very friendly and they had free airport shuttle service which so convenient for me. They were close to the mall and to the concert venue. I was able to get back with public transportation as well. The room was clean and big.

The staff was very nice, coffee area was dirty (spilled sugar and trash not cleaned up at 4am), and hotel just seems old (carpet seems worn, for example). The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable.

Neither relaxing or restful. Convenient location, Room was mostly clean- there was what appeared to be peanut skins? all over the carpet. internet was so slow as to be non- existent. Was reassured by front desk “ they were working on it”, but it was never rectified. No glasses provided in room. I asked reception and was informed that was hotel policy and was given a paper coffee cup. We were awoken at midnight by banging on the locked connecting door, and throughout the night by boisterous conversation and laughter which started again early in the morning. Again in the morning there was knocking on our entrance door by a young individual who couldn’t remember their room number. Apparently there was a large contingent of teens attending a band competition. Their adult supervisors were either on a different floor, or indifferent.

Miosha was great. I appreciate all her help as well as some of the other staff like Anastacia. They were both very polite and helpful thank you. I would stay there again.

the back side of the property towards the houses have some still rods sticking out you have to be careful if you walk on the back of the vehicles.

Spacious room, great find!

Already left the review from few months ago. But it was nice and simple. Spacious and quieter than I thought. Our room was end of the hall. Staff were very friendly and courteous. No issue. Unfortunately never had a chance to have their breakfast so can’t review about that. No cups in the room but you can get them from the first floor. Overall it was good.

Hotel was good for the price point. It's clean, but no housekeeping as we apparently need to request for it. They should at least bring us fresh towels if they're not cleaning up. Other than that, it was ok. Hotel is decent.

The room was really nice. The staff was nice and quick with checking in and out. The only thing i didn't like was that there was a $250 deposit. I thought it was $100 , as was stated on here (Expedia) before i decided to book the room. I felt like that was quite a bit high, and the site should've stated that. Other than that, everything else was really good.

Convenient to most areas of San Antonio. Easy to check in and out. Friendly staff. No problems with hotel or area.. my one gripe is how bad the breakfast was. I get it its not advertised.. but not even cereal. I suppose its not a place to take kids or athletes. Great hotel and the personalized greeting on the tv is awesome

A Just Okay Place to Stay

Our room layout was fine and comfortable. The TV, air-conditioner and mini-frig worked well. The free continental breakfast of bagels, yogurt, fruit and coffee was nice. This hotel is conveniently located near the airport, but airport noise is extremely loud. The only thing that freaked us out were the 3-inch long cockroaches that came into our room under the door from the hallway and ran around in the bathroom! We were able to catch them and flush them down the toilet, but we were not happy about that! We understand that there are a lot of cockroaches in Texas, but we would prefer to see dead ones!

My first time staying in San Antonio, I wanted to be close to the airport, this hotel was very close and offered free shuttle to and from which was a plus. The room was nicely remodeled and decorated, I enjoyed the room, only minor issue was a bug or two and some long hairs in the sink. The free continental breakfast was nice, bagels and muffins, plus fresh fruit and coffee/tea, the coffee was very weak, but plentiful and always available. The AC unit worked well in my room which was very pleasant, however the toilet was slow to flush and stopped up on my last night, the front desk staff brought up a plunger for me to unclog the toilet myself. Overall, I did enjoy my stay, used the moovit app to find my way around on public transportation, just $2.75 for all day pass was very convenient. Worth mentioning, staff checked on me via text which made me feel safe since I was traveling alone. Also the elevator was very slow and is in need of mechanical upgrades.

Perfect to stay with the family and secure!

Breakfast was pretty slim pickings. I expected more like warm food. Also, housekeeping did not make beds or refresh towels as they stated they would do. Hotel itself was good and very reasonable and convenient for our stay.

Last year there was a lot of choice for breakfast . This year its just orange juice, bagel, yogurt coffee. No eggs , no bread, no cereal.

San Antonio Spark Hotel Needs A Manager

The first two days were fine. The third day, the internet went down and they said it wouldn't be back up until the day I left (the next day). Also, I was on the third floor and the elevator buttons on the floor stopped working. At first they posted a sign that said to text to a number and they would send the elevator up. The day I left they changed the sign to "use the stairs". I thought "What would a handicapped person do?" The orange juice in the morning was watered down. I gather the management does not know what to do and the desk clerks are also clueless. I don't know if the breakfast staff was told to water down the orange juice or they took it upon themselves. I could not recommend this hotel until someone takes control or until corporate Hilton sends a quality control advisor.

We were only here for one night, but were very happy with the accommodations. It was a very nice room with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The young lady at the front desk was nice, friendly and helpful. Will likely stay again.

There was no micro-wave in the room or ice bucket.

Excellent service, clean rooms great location

There was no coffee maker in the room. I leaned on the towel rack and it came loose from the wall. The internet password didn't work, had to go back for another. They had no milk available for cereal or coffee. Just coffee creamers.

Stayed one night. We liked it because it was close to where we were going that day. Close to a lot of things. Right off the freeway. I would stay again.

They gave our room away before we got there, then put us in a room that spelt like piss, and the only thing they did for us was give us cleaning supplies, and they couldn’t even make me a key they had to just let us in the room when we left the room and needed back in

Hotel is nice but horrible breakfast. Very few item. No milk for kids.

Ease of check-in and value for your buck. Breakfast selection was muffins and bagels. Coffee and tea available 24 hrs, which was great. Only miss was the drainage of the tub while showering (slow to drain), but nothing that can't be fixed. Overall our stay was comfortable. Will more likely to stay again when we are in town.

Highly recommend this property for any occasions stay. The staff were professional, friendly, and helpful. The facility entrance is welcoming, the hallways are clean, and the choice of decor is very up lifting. Rooms spacious clean, linens were fresh, including bathroom towels. We enjoyed our 5 days here. A few drawbacks :no microwave in rooms, no ice buckets or cups provided, pool area not inviting. But overall we are staying here when we return to San Antonio.

We liked the property..if I would suggest one thing for your "daily" bagel bar..it to offer something kid friendly. Bar has3 kinds of bagels cream cheese mini muffins. No fruit or cereal or milk or anything hot. Just boring for 5 day stay.

This hotel needs a good cleaning. The carpet is filthy no one ever sweeps up the leaves that come in from the outside...kids running up and down the hallway, getting coffee with no parental supervision. No hot breakfast, just bagels that run out and not replenished. Will not come back!

We chose this Hotel because of the price. You can tell it's been remodeled but still very good for a fraction of the price. Location is amazing...close to the airport and easy to get on and off 410 to go other places. Staff was very friendly. No coffee/ice bucket in your room. The area around the Hotel is a bit dilapidated but the property itslef is good. Pool was cloudy but there had also been some rain so maybe that was the reason. We would definitely stay here again!

The room was pretty much clean. It looks like its old but still pretty much clean. Bathroom was mostly clean. Maybe some dirty spot but I’ll say minor. The room was pretty spacious which I was surprised. Couch were nice and simple. Beds were alright in my opinion. The door is not thick but its not that bad. So noise level was alright. There were no cups in the room but I think you can get them from 1st floor. Elevator worked pretty much. No issue. Unfortunately I didn’t eat their breakfast because I didn’t get get up early so no comments on that. Overall, I think its good enough. Maybe price should be little cheaper.

Hotel was updated, cute and clean. This will be our go-to place to stay when we visit San Antonio. Although the bagel bar was good, a few more breakfast options would have been nice. Very affordable, clean and safe.

The area is great, but the only problem is that, if we have to reheat up our food, we gotta go all the way to the front office to do that…there should have at least one microwave per Floor. We don’t have to go all the way to the front desk.

The hotel was fine and well priced and the staff pleasant . My only surprise was the lack of cups or a coffee machine in the room. I have done hotels for years and this is the first place outside of a few third world places I have stayed that did not even have cups in the room. I also am used to a morning cup of coffee in my room and have never stayed in a North American hotel without a simple coffee machine. Cups and coffee were found in the lobby the next morning but I was never told at checkin that there was nothing in my room and as it was Late when I was not motivated Go looking for cups, although I called the front desk and no one answered.

Had lay over due to flight cancellation. Found this property on the app. What a great find. Nothing fancy but super clean and comfortable. Their shuttle was in an accident that day, so they paid for my Uber to/from airport! Def recommend if needing somewhere close to airport.

Great stay for a family

The side door should be able to open with the key of the room. It could only be open by hilton honor membership by cell phone digital key. Very inconvient to have to walk around.

Beware bed bugs

We stayed for one night. There were bed bugs! We woke up in the middle of the night itching like crazy with bites all over. When I reported it to the front desk they did not seem surprised and offered nothing to make it right. I called customer service and I was told they opened a case and I would hear back within a few days. I have heard nothing!

Clean and comfy near the San Antonio airport

Hotel was clean and looked new due to recent renovation. The staff was efficient at the front desk and friendly. My only disappointment was the "breakfast" which turned out to be coffee, orange juice, bagels, and yogurt. Most hotels in this price range also offer cereals, other types of muffins, and some even hot items like eggs and waffles. Beyond that, the hotel was well located for the events I attended in San Antonio. I would definitely stay at the Spark again.
