We spent our honeymoon here it was absolutely beautiful thank you so much. 🙏
Good!
Facilities are old.
Great location!! Walking distances to a lot of food options and shopping, walking distances to the beach, great customer service. I love that they offer umbrellas, beach chairs, beach bords and beach towels for their guests. Beautful view, Clean, ambience of space has a charming character to it.
good for the price
I had a wonderful time during my stay. Thank you to the staff!
Nice hotel, but very noisy.
We loved the location of this hotel (not smack in the middle of Waikiki, but close to everything we needed), but because the windows were not double-paned, we heard a LOT of street noise (earplugs were provided). The room was definitely dated, but very clean, and the staff were super-friendly.
We enjoyed our time. The employees were kind and respectful at all times.
Cute hotel. All staff was terrific. The bathroom was not as clean as it should have been. Lots of hair in shower when we arrived.
It was absolutely amazing!
Great place to stay with the family, we all enjoyed it! Clean and friendly environment with plenty to do. Food and the beach is nearby. Would definitely stay again.
Coconut Waikiki is a small and quiet hotel with amazingly friendly staff. For a last minute reservation, we were able to get a suite. The room and bathrooms were clean and spacious. No complaints!!
Smells as old as it looks. Loud street noise, uncomfortable bed with stained sheets, awful smell from shower drain, and towels felt nasty after use Staff was fine - friendly and approachable
Great staff!!
The room needed more cleaning/updates. Although it had a very nice view, the street noise was quite loud, making earplugs necessary for sleeping. It has good access to everywhere and a great location.
The hotel is in a great location, walkable to everything in the Waikiki strip. Valet parking is very efficient but costly. The rooms were very spacious but outdated and dirty. The hotel staff was super kind and accommodating
Close to the Trolley and Downtown, clean, quiet.
Kind of seedy
This hotel is located near the canal. It is surprisingly clean and nice. Hotel is older, as you could tell in the photos. Valet parking is $40 (Nov 2024) There is a nice glass kettle, tea bags, proper (stainless steel) cutlery and ceramic plates, which are all a very nice touch. Coffee is served all day, there's a Laundromat on the ground floor. We also left our 3 boogie boards there because they let their guests take out boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas for free. Out of the 3 hotels (shoreline, best western plaza and coconut) we stayed in, we liked this one the best and will book again when we return.
Was a wonderful stay, staff was great and friendly. The hotel was clean and convenient to waikiki
Clean, affordable, friendly staff - everything you need for a stay in Hawaii. Walkable to everything around Waikīkī, and even free fresh popcorn at 2:30pm each arvo was a nice touch!!
It was the perfect stay for us! We liked the convenience of being so close to walk to all the restaurants and shops. The employees we interacted with also made the stay even better with their kindness and hospitality! Annie and Linda plus Robert with valet were exceptional! We thank you for making our weekend wonderful.
I have stayed here before and it’s a great hotel.
Staff very attentive and fast to our requests. Love that they have refill station at the lobby and coffee, tea and popcorn in the afternoon. Location is great. Although facility dated , it was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable
Great value for location. Staff is absolutely wonderful. Friendly and helpful. Great location for walking to tours, shopping, restaurants and beach. The rooms are so dated. They are clean but the drab colors and furniture makes u feel like you stepped back into 1975. Rooms could stand some fresh paint and updated curtains and furniture. Gr
The speakers on the tv don’t work but over all it’s a nice a cozy place
Very nice hotel with parking on site near everything
Great location by the canal. Quieter but still very near central Waikiki. Hotel is clean. We had a twin room which was big and had a balcony. Little kitchenette in the room is handy. Staff are very accommodating.
I love this hotel is in a good location and everyone is so nice , I stayed for 3 night and will definitely stay again, the bed wa so comfortable and it had all the amenities.
Clean, friendly checkin experience, good water pressure, and great bed.
Still waiting for my deposits back
I was upgraded to the penthouse which was a lovely surprise however I couldnt believe how noisy it was due to the traffic! The staff were excellent and very helpful but the hotel itself appears in need a bit of an uplift. The location was just off the main beach area but still easy to walk to and close to all the shops.
Very comfortable, clean, convenient experience. I would definitely stay here again.
.
Loved the pool. Quiet area and walkable to everything. 2nd time here. Customer service friendly and quick for towels. Bed comfy.
It is clean, professional service, quiet. We received a complimentary upgrade upon check-in which wasn’t expected, it was great. We feel safe at this property, amazing experience. I will come back here again
Great property!! We used it for overnight going to and coming from the Pride of America!! Due to flight schedules we needed an overnight stay both ways!
It's a clean and convenient hotel.
Will stay again.
The staff was so kind and the beds were great!!! After six back surgeries my husband thought the beds were so comfortable
Location very central & convenient. The room was serviced daily and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
I don’t like the towel smell, the doors at the bathroom doesn’t works good and the curtains don’t cover the windows properly
The hotel location is good near the canal and quiet but still walkable to everything in Waikiki, restaurants, shopping centers and beaches. The staffs are very friendly and professional, from the front desk to housekeeping. The room is clean and nice comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Great stay
Great small hotel. Offer but clean and convenient. Very very friendly and helpful. Exceeded expectations.
Conveniently close to the downtown Waikiki area. Valet services were excellent, they have beach stuff like chairs, umbrellas and boards you can borrow for the beach. Very nice and helpful staff
Location is great. Definitely in need of updating Our room is at the end of hallway the”Mountain View” room, layout is awkward which makes the closet almost inaccessible. I just ignored it’s existence and never put my clothes in it. Bathroom could have been cleaned better.
The clean and friendly atmosphere is a big plus. My Room was above the front door so I heard alot of coming and going at all times. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. I once seen the girl preparing little trays with macadrame nuts , I wonder what they were for I figured maybe a gift when checking out, I never found out because I was never offered it. The laundry room - washer is good the dryers forget, my clothes never dried had to hang in room. No parking in area so had to pay $40.00 a day for hotel valet. The hotel was near alot so walking and finding shopping and food was a plus. Loved the shampoo and body was provided in room. Was satisfied with my choice to stay here 6 days. Nice would recommend. Beds were comfortable.
Extra payment charge for the parking that irritates everyone.
Great location
Be awareness people, if you are looking for a hotel with the parking space, this is the one you should skip. There is no free parking, unless you pay $$40/day for valet. Overall, this is a good and comfortable place for staying. Location is close to the downtown. You can find a lot of restaurent and shopping mall.
nothing, I did not like all of the hidden fees
It was comfortably and clean
Everything was ok as far as staying. Rooms was clean, employee was great and helpful.
10/10 would recommend this hotel it is in a great location and has amazing staff.
Convenient to airport and ship.
Front desk staff had aloha and professional. Great value for Waikiki area. Clean, comfortable and great A/C in the room. Free filtered water and coffee in the lobby! Close to all kinds of food options. Mahalo!
Family friendly good location easy walkable distance to the beach and restaurants, safe clean erea.
Awesome
Rooms and hotel in general is outdated and staff was not very personable at all. Convenient location but I won’t stay again the next time I visit. Overpriced and beds were not that comfortable either. Unfortunately, just wasn’t the best experience!
It would be nice if the amenities fee was included in the price of the room on Expedia
Passable for one night to see Waikiki
Good location for a short stay to see Waikiki beach but poor value for money, especially if staying multiple nights - $30 daily amenity fee (not clearly stated upfront) and $40 daily valet parking (no self parking option) plus various taxes make it not worth it. The rooms are also very dated.
The receptionist swipe my credit card 3 times instead of 2 times for the payment on 2 rooms. Had to make enquiries before the fund release back.
Small hotel but has a lot of charm, staff is super friendly and helpful.
Coconut Waikiki Hotel is in a very good location, so many options for dining and just 10 minutes walking to the beach. They have towels, humbrellas and chairs you can use, as well as free water, coffee, and tea all day. The hotel seems to be a little old and needs some renovations, The only thing i didnt like is that when using the sink and the shower smells pretty bad like pipe.
Comfortable room with king bed. But full bathroom and half bathroom. Hotel is a bit older but Clem and nice. Easy walk to Waikiki beach, international market.
Spacious safe
The amenity fee was a surprise to me when I was checking in. I had thought my room was all paid for when I booked it, only to be told that I would be charged an additional fee. I am not saying that it wasn’t on the website site, but I do not remember seeing it.
Nice venue. Clean. Tidy rooms. Comfy sleeping beds
Good hotel great location had a leak in our bathroom and it was fixed immediately despite being 3am.
Coconut is awesome. . .it is further away from the busy parts (main tourist hubs) of Waikiki. So there is less tourist foot traffic around the property, which is nice. However, as you have a more quiet street, that means that you do need to walk about 10 minutes to get to the beach, which does suck if you have little kids and you are hauling chairs / towels / ocean toys etc. However, if you don't mind walking, you will get about 15k steps a day getting around Waikiki. Close enough to everything, but not too close to everything.
A bit noisy. Parking is tough (2 hour paid street parking, or free rare canal parking). Staff is helpful/great. Walking distance to Waikiki
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Called downstairs for car and it was ready when we got to the lobby
.
Friendly staff
Hotel was in a great location, close to shopping areas & plenty of dining options.
The hotel is in a great location to walk to shopping and restaurants. The hotel itself really needs to be remodeled as its carpet and interiors are too old to make look very clean. One lamp didn’t work in the room when I tried to turn it on and that’s when I noticed a huge stain in the shade. Also, if you awaken to sound easily, you can still hear a lot of sound/wind even when the sliding glass door is closed. There is only paid valet parking $40 night, complimentary coffee/tea in the lobby, and a water refill station. The staff is very nice and helpful.
The property was cozy on the channel side of Waikiki. Staff was professional and smaller hotel made for efficient check in/check out and valet processes.
Staff was friendly and they offer great things like popcorn and filtered water for guests. Our room needed some maintenance like the bathroom faucet handle that didn't work properly, and the rug was peeling off in the closet.
Very good hotel clean and nice view !
The staff were friendly and the location was close to a lot of restaurants and the Beach and some attractions.
Old, not updated, rooms are not that clean, needs paining and carpet. Pictures make it look nice. Checkin was long and room keys don’t work. Do not recommend.
Good for the price
Perfect place to stay away from all the busy areas but walkable to most everything.
Great short stay
This hotel was perfect for a short stay. Nice location. We stayed one night before going on a 10-day cruise. It was walkable to really great shopping and dining on Kalakaua Ave. Wished we had more time there.
This property was perfect for our 3 night stay. Easy walking to restruants and the beach. Would stay here again and recommend to everyone.
Very convenient and the staff was great.
This hotel was very conveniently located and a great price for the area. The hotel was very nicely maintained for its age and very clean. The only drawback was that the air conditioner for this room did not cool adequately.
None
Nice
One night stay
Hotel is never full but the last two times I’m put next to the elevator. You can hear everything in the hall. Including the elevator bell everytime it arrived. Price is good for the room and amenities. Clean premises inside and out. Rooms are great for a solo trip maybe a little cramped for a couple or family.
Everyone at the front desk and valet were very patient, courteous, kind and helpful. The room was very clean and cozy. I highly recommend this hotel. I would stay again.
the front deskservice is good. All day coffee supply is giid.
A/C unit to loud needs to replace or fixed
Quiet, Comfortable Stay
We selected this smaller boutique hotel for our short stay before our cruise around the islands. It was farther from the beach, but the room was spacious, quiet, clean and less costly than the hotel’s beachside.
Nice hotel. The front desk lady could have been friendlier. The valet was super nice! Pool area is small. Room was not cleaned thoroughly.
My stay at the hotel was amazing. The room was beautiful. It was clean. It was bright. The view from the balcony was amazing. I will definitely recommend.
Spacious, clean rooms!
Great Place
This was a great place to stay. Staff was friendly, the hotel was perfect! Thank you for making our trip to Hawaii even more enjoyable.
We had a great view of the canal frim the 8th floor and a beautiful view of the hills. It was a spacious room and we really enjoyed the balcony and free wifi. We were able to have our luggage stored, after the noon checkout, until our trip to the airport from the hotel.
Staff was great but the rooms could be updated and a little cleaner. Location is good with shopping, food and the beach all walkable.
