ADEQUATE

WIFI POOR AND STAINS ON CARPET BETTER HOTELS IN TOWN FOR LESS

Very convenient.

Don't stay here if it is really cold and you need to plug in your car. There are limited spaces to plug in and they are all going to be in use if you leave the motel and return later in the evening. No dedicated parking spot for your room means plug in is first come first serve despite paying for accommodation. Not at all good on a weekend with -30 in the morning.

Aweful

Poor choice on my part. The room was not as advertised. Cold, not clean and disappointing access. As well, did not stay the second nigh - thought it was cancelled. ended up paying 30% more. Will not make this mistake agian.

I didn't like that there was not enough parking spaces for me to park near my room, otherwise it was an awesome stay.

Room was dirty when I checked in, dirty bedding, dirty bathroom with hair and mold all over it, looked like the carpet had not been vacuumed in a month, dirty sheets with stains all over it, and every time they “cleaned” the room they turned my heat down to 10 degrees in -30 weather

Clean rooms and friendly staff. Well worth the value.

A Comfortable Stay

The staff were very friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. The service was very good. We would recommend the Chinook Inn to family and friends.

Clean rooms. Housekeeper came in in the morning while i was sleeping but other than that enjoyed my stay .

Price was way lower than most of the other hotels but it was just as nice as any hotel I’ve stayed in. The rooms are particularly quiet—we heard no one next to us whatsoever! Nice hot shower, comfortable beds, and our room had a fridge and microwave which was an added bonus. Love being able to park right outside our room and go straight in.

Clean and spacious room. Friendly host. The toilet is not up to standard of everything else. To the owner: I am talking about Room 130 - if you see this please replace the toilet.

Stayed during a coldsnap and it took the heater 3 hours to heat our small room. Otherwise a lovely stay.

Great Service, Toasty Room

When I arrived, the owner was very courteous and honored my request to switch to a room with carpet and a little firmer bed. Everything in the room worked, especially the radiant heat, which was very welcome on a cold, snowy night. The shower had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The motel was quiet, and the kitchen had all you need to cook. I was very pleased with my stay.

We stayed here this summer but this time the room felt a little more run down. The fridge wasn't turned on and we needed it. It did work, we just turned it on. The towels are getting thread bare and thin. Also the pillow cases had stains on them. We really enjoy that the room fits 6 people for a good price. We'd stay here again. :-)

Definitely coming back to this motel. Amazing staff, nice clean room, and safe. There is picnic table with access to BBQ machine which also has burners on the side, although we took our own portable stove which we used for cooking on the table outside. It was our first time @RMH and it was definitely a great experience.

i liked that it was walk out to your car and that it was quick and easy to check in!

A good choice in RMH. Great easy check in & clean rooms, great for work crews. I stayed there with the missus and kids, close to a walking trail to take you to downtown. An affordable alternative to big chains. As an aside Rocky Mountain House is a cool little town. Well done all around.

Very good value for money. A really nice walking trail by the property. Convenient to highway, and access to town. The beds provided were very capacious for our family of five. Everything modern, well kept, efficient.

This place was a good find! The beds were amazing, the room was big & very clean. We will definitely be staying here every time we come to visit my daughter!

Quiet, clean, fridge and wifi...all I needed and affordable.

Very simple, had everything you need for a night, friendly saf and a fair price.

We enjoyed a great night and liked that there was room for 6 people in one room, with 3 beds, a microwave and fridge.

It’s very close to the highway so easy access to the town by car and yet set back far enough to be very quiet. Also close enough to town to walk to “ Main Street “ and the many restaurants and shops. The staff was always available and helpful I would definitely stay here again.

There was no breakfast, although it was alluded to in the reviews and description.

The room appeared to have been recently renovated. Clean, roomy, with all the usual amenities. Friendly service. Unexpected gem.

For a place to sleep for a few nights, this is the best. Inexpensive and comfortable beds. King bed only had 2 pillows, but Michael happily gave is 2 more. Very friendly and welcoming upon our arrival. The property has 2 buildings. We stayed in the older building, which is a bit rundown…but it was clean! Hot water ran out in the afternoon, but other than that no complaints. We didn’t expect Hotel style accommodations, and we were very happy with our stay. If hotel style is what you are looking for, then don’t stay here, but if you want value for your money, and a comfortable night’s sleep, then definitely stay here.

Easy check in and clean

Staff was really nice and upgraded my room to a double queen room which was newer and very clean. Felt like i was staying in a bigger hotel.

My stay was great. Comfortable and quiet.

The staff was friendly. However, it was hard to locate and the guests that we came into contact with were doing questionable things. It seemed that made me feel a little less safe or comfortable period Also, there, walkways seem to be just snow paths, created going up the side of a small hill up to the rooms other than 2 stairways, which hadn't been cleared of the snow either or ice, which was underneath. Lastly, this isn't a major thing, but it felt a little impersonal because when you leave. There's nobody around you. Just drop your key in a bowl and if you don't, you're charged $10..

The room may be updated but they are so dirty. The doors, walls, bath tub, etc have never ever been washed. They are caked with dirt. The pillow cases were yellow and the pillows very small squares. I’d be scared to see what the rooms inside the building look like. It seems some rooms are home to quite the rough looking crowd.

Good accommodation for the price and having a kitchenette was very valuable for me. We got a recently renovated room and the kitchenette was great.

I had booked 2 rooms for my parents and relatives for my wedding but on the day of check in, they were told that one of the rooms that we paid for was not available as someone, that was not part of our party, had already checked in and only one of the room was unavailable. They weren’t able to do a refund as it was booked via Expedia but made them jump through hoops to rectify the situation between Expedia and the hotel. My relatives had to deal with the hotel causing my parents and relatives to be extremely late to my reception and deviating from their original plans.The hotel eventually called to say that it was misunderstanding, but at that point, the huge inconvenience had already costed us lost time and opportunities during our wedding. It was extremely disappointing

Very basic motel in a less convenient end of the town but meet the need for a quick and cheap overnight stay. Room was clean. No concerns but nothing beyond basic either.

Typical motel type Inn, nothing bad but nothing Phenomenal to brag about either. Just happy to have a room available for a last minute booking.

Don't judge a book by its cover. By the looks of the building it kind of looks dumpy. BUT the rooms are very nice and clean.

Needs major renovations, new carpets, bedding etc. It seems to be very old, The people were nice.

I tried to cancel this booking multiple times on the 23rd and got no where they wouldn’t let me cancel even though it was before the cut off time even called today and didn’t get any help. So not only did I not stay here I lost my money cause they wouldn’t cancel. Definitely will make sure people know this is how they operate their business

Pleasant stay and good value

Extra good value room with no air conditioner, but we were offered a fan which was nice. Room serviced daily and towels changed which we did not expect. A little out of town but no issue with a car. A little tricky to find. When you have been past town and when you seem to have missed it get ready to turn left at 52nd St. Mainly used by workmen, but that is not a problem

We stayed in a newly renovated room and, wow!! Very nice!! A GREAT value for the price.

pleasamt staff, nice room

Good value at $98. a night and we were able to park our Motorcycles right outside our door. The deer on the lawn was an added bonus.

The room had easy outside access to the parking at the door, the room was very clean like we were the first ones to ever stay there, it was quiet and had a coffee machine and fridge. It wasn’t easy to find as hidden by trees but the access to the highway was easy.

A great motel to stay overnight. Friendly staff and quiet. Property is a bit dated, but the price is very affordable.

The outside of the motel is plain. But wow! The rooms are gorgeous! Like a higher end hotel…marble floors, cushy arm chairs, 42-48” tv, comfortable beds!

Overall I had a very good stay, service was outstanding and the beds were super comfy. I believe it is an older building so there is some marks on the carpet, walls, and in the bathroom. The room was pretty clean otherwise, it was just in need of a bit of scrubbing in the bathroom. I enjoyed my stay

We stayed in the older, original part for the first time. The room was very clean. It was a king size bed but the sheets were terrible…very worn out and pilled. There are no frills here but if you need the least expensive room for an overnight stay, this is ok.
