Happy stay

Clean, comfortable. Helpful, friendly staff. Good breafast.

Very clean and nice and quiet for a quick stopover.

Breakfast was a surprise there being hot food available, eggs cooked to order and other hot items,all the staff we have met are friendly and helpful.

Just stayed one night. It was a very nice hotel. Would recommend

This was such a pleasant surprise. Beautiful birds on the property and a short walk to the boardwalk. The room was clean and the food was great. Not sure why the bad reviews. It clearly states quite, accenting simplicity, coziness and comfort. It’s a beautiful setting meeting all these attributes.

Only 20 minutes from Airport. Close to walkable boardwalk that follows the waterfront. Lots of dining options in the area.

The staff are amazing. They help us with an early check in. Food was delicious, room was clean, the shuttle took us to the train, easy to walk to small beach. I will stay in this place again. We were very satisfied. Thank you

Very quiet friendly

You can breathe fresh air, the surroundings are all green plants, colorful plants, historical white olive trees. The staffs are all very nice and very helpful. The breakfast are all very good. Excellent service.

Place was eco friendly, lots of trees in the garden. Breakfast excellent, with food and staff in the dining. Walking distance to the beach. Close to airport.

A nice layover stay.

We appreciate our stay, good impression, room is big enough, surroundings are nice, very good breakfast. We thanks Vasanthan from front desk, a very nice and helpful person give us a lot of help.

Highly not recommend this property. It wasn’t very clean, they didn’t have anything to purchase, not even water and was not provided. There are no stores around to purchase water. There is no air conditioning in the room, more of a fan. Very difficult to sleep in the humid room and bed was alright. Below basic hotel and conditions were not the best. Will not be back and I don’t recommend this place.

Such a wonderful stay

I booked the hotel as i was arriving into the airport at 2am and needed somewhere relatively close by for the night. This place had 24/7 check in and the taxi only cost S$25. The room was nice, cool and dark. Basic but clean and all i needed for a night. Breakfast was included but it would have been great if their shuttle service from the airport was on hand at night, i can’t think why people stay here other than because they are using the harbour / airport at inconvenient times. Having said that it had quite nice grounds with some beautiful trees!

The property was lovely but not conducive to a flight layover. There is an hourly shuttle service to the train station but no hotel to airport transfer

This is in an area where you can enjoy a natural setting and quiet, but still only around 20 minutes from the airport. They provided a bird-spotting guide, and I had a very pleasant hour enjoying the wildlife before the sun went down

Quiet place

Serenity. But rooms had some insects.

Ok for an overnight layover, however pillows are lumpy and bed not much better. Restaurant is passable, just. No others close by.

We found that the pillows we had were extremely hard. Hard to get a taxi early in the morning but uber worked out well.

Singapore Overnight stay

Cheerful, helpful and friendly staff - who allowed us to have access to our room sooner when they realised how early we had arrived in Singapore. Room clean, tidy and comfortable; although extra soap bars and some toiletries would have been nice. Great air conditioning! Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of food and beverages.

Spacious comfortable rooms, nice restaurant, good choices for breakfast and dinner, small gyms available, places of interest within walking distance or short bus ride.

Like it for the cleanliness, peace and serenity. The only inconvenience accessibility, it's too far to walk. Maybe the shuttle could be more frequent like half hourly

Quiet nature reserve, goof for get away. Otherwise rooms average, few amenities available and location far from other amenititis

Good transit possibility

Often good for transit stay. Alternative to ridiculously priced crowne. Prices vary a lot though, so check first. Taxi 18 to 25 (time of day). 17 min trip. Allow 15mins for taxi to arrive on rtn to airport.

Flowless check in process. The room is clean, and minimalist. Basic needs for a short overnight stay was addressed.

Very quiet area, nice to be close to the beach. Room was a great size and clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel runs a shuttle bus service to Changi village and the MRT which was great (and free). It was about 20mins away from the airport by taxi. Good for an overnight stopover.

Love the ambience of the place. A feeling of zen when walking around the property, with spa music piped in throughout.

The room location were away from reception and route wasn't clear. I had to get reception to assist. Room comfortable, shower ok. All a bit dated, but reflected in the price. Breakfast very good. Got up early had a walk along the boardwalk, lovely views along the way. Changhi is full of interesting British and Japanese war occupation history. For an overnight stop found the hotel suited my needs

Aircon seemed to switch itself off if there was no movement in the room. It became warm when we slept.

Clean, comfortable bed, quiet, AC works great, nice garden, walkable to Changi Point Boardwalk. We arrived early in the hotel and let us check in early. We appreciate it as we need to get a good rest/sleep. We were tired from our cruise trip. Front desk also assisted us with the booking of taxi as we are checking out super early at dawn for our flight. Thank you.

Wonderful oasis of quiet beauty! Enjoyed the meals at White Olive Restaurant. Staff was the best on my 2-month trip.

Far too pricey for what you get

The first contact is not good. staff is tired not welcoming. more policing travellers than welcoming them. Hotel is in bad shape. No fridge in rooms. Noisy, especially when your neibourgh closes its room door. Breakfast is just OK - really basic Kinda 2 or 3* level. Far too pricey for what you get

Access to the rooms from the lobby is veryconfusing and complicated. Small room. The shower with hot water is great. Awesome staff, service, and super food!

It was an interesting area - some e-scooters would have been good. We tried to play at the Golf Club, but they wouldn't allow - if the hotel had an arrangement that also would be good. Also perhaps access to the sailing club (swimming pool).

A quiet refuge from the city

Unfriendly front desk staff. Not smiling and looking lost. Breakfast is basic and repetitive. Totally nothing around the hotel, but they provide shuttle bus. Plus point. Room is spacious.

The small restaurant was a good thing. Felt very isolated as it was pouring so going out not an easy option. Had to leave super early for airport and elevator was stuck on another floor so no elevator!! Super hard to find room and only did because a front desk guy walked by and walked us there.TV didn’t work and front desk guy was so kind he came to fix but he brought his own remote and it was our remote that did not work, So no TV. Just felt off.

It's located in a quiet area, I am especially impressed by the hammock chair in the room, very comfortable! However the layout of the hotel is a bit confusing, I stayed on level 4, where I had to take an elevator to the second floor, walked a long way to another block, then took an elevator to 4th floor, I was carrying heavy luggage and was exhausted after a long flight, this inconvenience was a bit unexpected. But overall I was pleased with a brief stay there, staffs were helpful and the club sandwich from their restaurant was tasty.

Good overnight option near Changi Airport

The hotel is located about 10-15 minutes from the airport by taxi and so is conveniently located in a lush, quiet area of Singapore. The staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. The landscape and grounds surrounding the hotel are beautiful. The onsite cafe serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was fine, but selection could have been more extensive and open later. The room was fine but showed signs of wear and was a bit bare. apart from this it was fine and I would stay again if I had the need.

Great hotel for a layover! You can draw on some of the walls with dry erase markers and the hotel is built around some really old beautiful trees. Just wish there was a mini fridge and that the vending machine for guests took card!

The location is a little bit far but you can take bus there. Nice and quiet area with trees. Good place to rest

Had a pleasant stay. The room, bed and toilet were clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good.

It is near entrance to one end of boardwalk, unfortunately it was closed for renovation during our stay & we hv to go to another entrance 10 mins walk away for a boardwalk.

Rustic Getaway

I love this hotel located in a super rustic environment. Just great for get away from the usual urban setting. A great place from which to explore the surroundings like the Changi boardwalk, Changi village, Pulau Ubin and the black and white estates.

Good place to stay, if you close one eye

Location is good. Room is clean and comfortable.The service was good at the front desk area, especially the concierge (I think that's what he is - presumably the most senior-aged black-shirts male staff - extremely kind and helpful). Problems were at the dining room. Totally understaffed and no courtesy at all. It was regrettable that no one answered the phone at front desk and housekeeping

They had prepared our room in the morning for us so we could get an early check-in.

A quick escapade, close to nature

We stayed in the Deluxe King Room which was clean, comfy and tucked away at the farthest end of the hotel that provided lots of privacy. There was however no bathtub, room service, and breakfast option for those with special diet. Changi Boardwalk would’ve been a nice place to visit, with its entrance just around the corner of the hotel, but it’s under renovation till end Sep. Nonetheless there were lots of things to explore around the area, including heritage trees, abandoned colonial houses, and even Pulau Ubin if you’d take a ferry ride out.

We love the quiet feel and the birds! The location is beautiful and it's nice to have a made to order breakfast.

Hotel was great but Hotels.com disappointing.

Hotel is clean n was a pleasant stay overall. Food at breakfast not so good. However, I sprained my ankle during the trip and had to cancel my last night booking. The hotel staff was really kind and asked me to liase with hotel.com to arrange another night. They said if I had booked directly with them , they would have given me the night stay in future when I recover but because I book through hotel.com they need to contact the hotel to arrange. I’ve contacted hotel.com but to my disappointment no one followed up on it. I wish there was better service and kindness from Hotels.com

I love the quietness of the hotel as it is away frm the city. i hope the hotel can improve on their options for breakfast, so that ppl wit variety of diet options can hv a choice too.

Nice and cozy

Nice hotel in a cozy setting amongst lots of greenery. Friendly staff and free parking, great for staycation. Will be back!

Standard seems to have dropped and the hotel seems to be poorly maintained possibly due to cost cutting during COVID-19 times. During our stay, the lobby carpets were wet due to the constant rain. Breakfast was also pretty bad due to limited selection. They should consider bringing back the previous breakfast selection with the smoked salmon, cheese, and bread selection but with ala-carte style ordering over buffet.

The quiet surroundings, perfect balm to recharge and refresh a tired spirit.

The eggs during breakfast can be improved. Recommendations to chef: don’t overcook the eggs and it is too dry. Other than that, the stay was pleasant.

A normal hotel, what I like is the location, going out of the city hassle and bustle

Set in very lush greenery. Location close to Changi boardwalk. Fairly close to Changi Village and Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal for Pulau Ubin. We also did nature walks and a trip to Jewel. Had an activity filled staycation.

Pleasant Getaway

Comfortable, quiet, restful stay. Room (standard king) is good except window is whited out so it lets daylight in but can't see out (because it faces army facility). Shower has great pressure but not hot. Whiteboard wall is great for personal retreat. Breakfast not as good as pre-COVID (they might have fruit if you ask, but they don't offer if you don't ask). The coastal boardwalk to Changi Village is under maintenance half-way to Changi Village, but the sign boards don't warn you. You need to divert to the road by the Sailing Club. Alternatively, the Civil Service Club shuttle is available free of charge (fixed schedule). Bus 29 stops closer than other public buses.

Excellent service in quaint little boutique hotel

Nice place, but need more food vending machines for hungry guests. Breakfast options was limited, perhaps because of Covid. Excellent service made up for it though. Wish there was a fridge in the room for our snacks though
