Great hotel in a nice part of Athens. Walking distance to the Parthenon. Lovely restaurants and shops all around the hotel. Treat yourself to the rooftop bar/restaurant. Beautiful view of the Parthenon. Very romantic.

The rooms are very small the lobby is beautifully and big but rooms dissatisfied. We book room with view and they did not give us the correct. We had to pay for a view and give addition money. I would not recommend to anyone. I recommend The Athens Version Luxury at 121 Ermou & 18,Astiggos 18 Athens

Good location. Frienly staff. Breakfast is good They can improve the cleaning in the rooms.

The property's location is the single biggest asset. The rooms are poorly maintained - black mold in the showers (multiple rooms). But the worst was the staffs willingness to work. Housekeeping told me they would NOT clean the mold. Restaurant Staff refused to make fried eggs - because it was not on the buffet schedule. Frontdesk lied to me about the return of the Manager and the Daytime Front Desk people refused to attempt to resolve the alarm coming from another Building. Nicos the evening Front Desk worker - actually called the Police and resolve the alarm issue and was the only person who was able to provide any reliable suggestions. Had to have Expedia get involved to contact the Manager - who offered to move me to another room.

The hotels location is excellent. The rooms are decent size by European standards There is school in the back, and the kids are noisy and seem to be on break constantly. In addition church-bells ring every so often. The beauty of the hotel is when you open the windows you see the acropolis illuminated by night. you can also see it from the restaurant terrace It is Nice to sit up there.

The Plaka location was perfect. The modern decor was appealing. The room was comfortable and the view to the Acropolis from it as well as the patio restaurant was amazing. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. I would stay there again. The nightly rate was reasonable.

It has an excellent roof terrace, supported by efficient and friendly staff. The ground floor is also very good, and the breakfast arrangement is good for the hotel category. I thought the bedroom somewhat tired and ready to have a re-fresh.

Included Breakfast was A-mazing! Very clean, safe, super friendly staff. 10min. walk from Syntagma Square from where we took Metro from Airport. Easy walking to cafes, restaurants, and shops. Definitely recommend!

Hotel is well located. Staff were helpful. They could use felt on the bottom of their chairs and tables to quiet the sliding noise on ceramic tile.

Staff was amazing and accommodated an early check in as we had just arrived from the USA and our small children were exhausted. That meant a lot to us and we definitely recommend this hotel!

Good central location Mould in the shower Shower curtain not effective it stuck to you while using the shower. Strange bathroom door handle. No plug sockets at side of bed. Breakfast was average. Not worth £100 per night.

The hotel it’s in heart of Athens…

The front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean. Great location. Walkable distance from food and shopping. Large spread of food for breakfast. Our room was right by a school and was a bit noisy early in the morning and during the day but wasn’t a problem for us.

Room was not getting cleaned up to 4 pm and after. Would have to wait each time.

Can’t wait to come back again!

Everything was excellent . Staff, service etc. One minor issue was we had 2 single beds placed together , instead of one double or queen bed. But still all good . Thea restaurant has the best food , service and view. Highly recommended both hotel and restaurant

From the moment I arrived the staff were so lovely and helpful, their rooftop restaurant was exceptional with the view looking up to the acropolis. The location was excellent to walk all around the various surrounding areas. There was also a tiny, restaurant on the other side of the road which was such a memorable, authentic and tasty dinner option. My bedroom was smallish but perfect for a solo traveller, and had the view of the acropolis as well. Very happy with my stay and would recommend.

Very nice hotel. Grateful that hotel saved an underground parking spot for me, as there is no parking in Athens. Very central to many of the sites and areas of Athens you would want to see.

Central Athens was in a great location for visiting The Acropolis and sites in central Athens. Rooftop bar is great with fabulous views of the Acropolis. Staff were very helpful! Would definitely stay here again!

Always stay here when I’m in Athens. Has had an overdue revamp which is great. Roof top bar and restaurant just amazing with the incredible Parthenon view. Walking distance to wherever you want to go. The staff are just the most friendliest and nothing is too much for them to make your stay enjoyable.

It is a conveniently located hotel, close to Plaka and Monastiraki . The view of the Acropolis from the hotel was superb. The area around the hotel is dirty, full of graffiti, empty storefronts and feels unsafe and unkept. Of course it's not the Hotel's fault but it affects the overall experience.

The area seemed a bit unsafe when we arrived but as it turned our we felt totally comfortable walking throughout the area. It is very conveniently located to shops and restaurants and the restaurant on the terrace is excellent with good food and a view that can't be beat. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here in August, the hotel is very close to the Plaka area for shopping and restaurants, and a short walk to Syntagma Square, for transport. The staff could be friendlier.

Hotel staff was amazing and so extraordinary helpful. The rooms were clean and well appointed - coffee pot, mini fridge, and toiletries. Air conditioning was only operable when room key was inserted so it took a while for the room to cool down upon our return. Roof top restaurant is a must-see and the food/drinks/views were outstanding! We loved our visit to Athens!

Rooms where very small, the shower was dangerously slippery, it was noisy inside and out. There was no sound proofing. Although the breakfast selection was good, there was fruit flies everywhere.

Had an excellent stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Note, if you need a parking spot to book ahead as they only have a handful of spaces. That wasnt very clear on this site, but is mentioned on the hotels own website. The view from the rooftop restaurant was amazing and their house made lemonade was excellent.

Have stayed here many times. This time I was with my daughter and we needed a larger room with two separate beds. Unfortunately, the hotel really does not have larger rooms (except for a few square feet) and the two separate beds were right next to each other. Its not anything terrible, but essentially if you need two beds you basically need to look somewhere else.

Average hotel service but what do you expect in Athens? Staff could definitely be more friendly; however, the hotel was good enough to store our luggage for a week while we went to the Greek Islands. Breakfast was great, we stayed there for the insane views of the Acropolis & city. The dinner at the Terrace on the roof top was actually amazing (expensive but worth it), we didn't expect it to be so nice, but we were pleasantly surprised! The room was small and basic but had everything we needed. I probably would stay there again due to great views, breakfast and location.

Nice place

This hotel was perfect for our stay in Athens. The staff (all speak English) arranged transportation as needed, though its location was perfect for walking to the Acropolis and elsewhere -- there's even a great jewelry store just next door (which is the artist's studio as well -- he was great!) Plenty of restaurants and cafes are nearby, and the hotel's rooftop bar was excellent. We didn't eat there, but it was a perfect spot to grab one last glass of wine before calling it a night. We would definitely stay again.

I have stayed here many times. The hotel is a great option if you like walking everywhere and have a need for parking. Comfortable bed and quiet. My only complaint would be that they do that new system of wrapping a comforter with a sheet of sorts… So you don’t get a regular sheet. What if you don’t want to sleep with a comforter? The staff is great.

orse hotel service I have seen , arrived at 11 AM until 3 and still saying they cleaning the rooms, guests sleeping in the hotel lobby waiting for their rooms , The hotel rooms are awful. Extremely small and the Extremely small toilet , no space to open your bags Also a The towels were threadbare and should have been replaced 10 years ago. The floor looks dirty but it's just old. All the money has been spent on reception and the rooftop bar, there is an amazing view but you would be better booking a meal rather than a room. The shower is miniscule and you have to sit on the toilet squint because there is no where for your legs. Avoid Avoid avoid

It was fine for what a 3 star hotel in a metropolis should be. The staff was very nice and the 'acropolis view' room had a wonderful view. The area itself is like any metropolis, but is nice within a 10 minute walk. We got reservations at the rooftop restaurant and they didn't honor it because it was raining and we were seated on the patio, even though the restaurant was absolutely empty. We were dressed nicely and they seemed they didn't want us there. Maybe the restaurant is a separate entity but it was super weird.

We had an amazing experience! Walkable to tons of restaurants, shopping, and the acropolis. A quick walk to the metro as well! The rooftop terrace was delicious and the view was breathtaking!

We could walk to Acropolis and good restaurants and other sites. The room had nice view of Acropolis. Room was on the small size, but clean. It was next to a school, so we could hear the kids on playing on Friday afternoon, however the rest of the weekend was fine.

Central Athens staff was pleasant and accommodating. I expect a compact room when traveling internationally unless you pay a premium price. For the reasonable price, you get a phenomenal view of the Acropolis at their rooftop bar (we dined or had drinks there on all 3 nights). Breakfast was nice. We able to walk to the main Plaka shops, some major sights and Monastiraki Square. Would recommend to others and would definitely come back when in Athens. Thanks again!

I thought this property was great. Loved the breakfast in the morning and the amount of options. Really enjoyed having the rooftop bar for the view and drink in the evenings. Great location close to everything.

This Central Athens Hotel has a very convenient location. Within walking distance from all the Athens tourist attractions. Walking distance to the Acropolis, the Plaka neighborhood, National Museum, Botanical Gardens and lots of great restaurants. This hotel offers a great breakfast menu! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding. I recommend staying at this hotel.

Lovely staff but dreadful Internet connection. Also non existent connection with my own phone. No water in rooms. Too pricey for this hotel.

The hotel itself is modern, clean, and inviting, located in the midst of an active and generally attractive part of downtown Athens, with many shops, restaurants, and cafes nearby. Our room was comfortable and quiet, perfect for our 1-night stay. There's an excellent breakfast buffet. Most convenient is that it's just a 10-minute walk (with luggage) from Syntagma Square, which is sort of the beating heart of modern Athens. It's also a key Metro stop which offers connections to all parts of the safe and effective Metro system, including a direct line to the international airport (definitely beats going by car in traffic). One bit of advice - in advance of one's arrival, you receive a request to do "advance check-in, to avoid delays upon arrival at the hotel." Don't do it - there were no delays in checking in; but I had complied, which included filling in a not-well-designed form online and then attaching photos of my passport and credit card - all of which then worrisomely disappeared without actually checking me in (I still worry about where my information went). But beyond that, the place is a fine, attractive and pleasant, centrally located lodging if you wish to be in the modern part of Athens.

The room was very small and dated. I could hear everything through the walls. It was very noisy. It was also a surprise that they did not even leave a bottle of water in the room. Very very basic. The rooftop and the staff were nice. But apart from that I would avoid staying here again.

It's a great hotel with a fantastic staff. Great location for Plaka. The only thing that I didn't like is having to toss used toilet paper in the waste basket in the bathroom. I'm used to it in other parts in the country. Got to go with the flow.

Amazing hotel. Staff was incredibly helpful and kind. The location is perfect for walking around Athens, however taxis are also plentiful. The included breakfast included a wide variety of foods in a pleasant dining room. The Thea Restaurant is one of the best views of Acropolis Hill. The food and drink there was also outstanding. We will definitely stay here again.

Clean everywhere. Really lovely breakfasts - cpoked and continental. Bathrobe and slippers privided for stay. So convenient for all the sights. Rooftop restaurant was wonderful. Service there and evetywhere was excellent. Only doenside was reception staff always gave wrong directions. I ended up doing a long trek up steep tiny roads for the Acropolis when they directed me the wtong way. Other guests mentioned this too. Take a map.
