Old and dingy. The manager was a bit condescending. This place is surrounded by other hotels, I suggest one of those.

Construction noise in unit above mine. No amenities to speak of.

The property is in one word unique and that pretty much sums up my sentiments. Parking, though, is quite challenging.

Great price!!

This is a very charming no-frills property that is right in the middle of some of the best parts of Miami Beach. If you are OK not having a pool or gym or some of the other resort amenities you would get at nearby hotels, and just want a really Nice place to sleep in a great location, this is perfect for you.

Beautiful hotel. Kinda reminds me of Cartagena Colombia. ONLY thing that could have made this experience better is if the cleaning crew was a little cognizant and aware people may still be sleeping in the morning as they make their rounds. They were bumping into walls. Carts hitting the door. Talking really loud. Other then that great place.

The overall design of the property is very good, but after all, it is old, so some things are not up to date, but the feeling is still good.

Was my second time in this hotel and I already took 3 more nights I love it❤️ it is my dream place

Staffs and service

Everything was excellent!! The gentleman who checked me in the evening was very helpful. The room was very clean! . LOCATION Parking spot right there in front of the Hotel and walking distance to the beautiful beach! The girls that were at the desk during the day were also extremely nice! I will return!

The hotel was so cute and quaint and had all the property amenities and it was such a relaxing stay. Loved it and would definitely go back.

The property's bird issue has not been addressed, causing sleep disruption due to bird collisions on my window. The outdated air conditioning system also requires attention as it produces a loud buzzing noise during its on and off cycles.

Nice hotel, a block away from mid beach in Miami. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Restaurant downstairs (Gitano) had tasty apps and lively music. Overall great stay! Hope to be back soon!

I only gave a good rating overall due to a dying battery in the smoke detector in my room that started screaming at midnight! Other than that the hotel and staff are excellent!

Charming historic hotel

The staff, the restaurant, the ambiance!

I was told I could valet at the hotel. It was pouring when we arrived. I had to carry my bags in the rain to check in. The. I had to drive to another hotel and valet there. Then I had to get a ride back to the hotel. Not a great start to our staycation. The hotel had a very unusual smell to it. The bathroom was tiny. The noise was unbearable starting around 9:30 pm. When we left I walked to another hotel to pick up my car as my wife waited with the bags downstairs. Horrible experience. Everyone is doing you a favor. I would have cancelled on the spot but they told me it would have been more money to cancel than the actual stay. I was told by staff at the hotel where I parked that this happens all the time. They would never recommend this hotel, nor would they even consider spending $1 there. It was smelly, there was no management on staff..disgusted with the whole experience.

Great location and beautiful hotel. Everyone was so friendly and the in house restaurant was delicious!

The hotel itself was lovely, staff was so helpful and kind. Very quick turnaround on housekeeping services. Super clean. it did lack outlets in the rooms to charge devices and In lobby too. Did love how close it is to the beach. Very nice short walk. Just didn't appreciate the lack of opinions for food when you want something quick and/or cheap. Overall I did love my stay.

Adorable, quaint hotel - in the best location - we only stayed the night, but would stay again!

Great customer service. Easy check in. We came a few hours prior to check in time so the hotel stored our luggage safely until check in time. Very creative and fun environment. Lots of colours, happy and relaxed feel. Only stayed for 1 night but would have loved to have stayed for longer. 3min walk from gorgeous Miami Beach.

Best hospitality team in south beach !

Stayed for 3 nights. Room and bathroom was clean. It is conveniently across the street from the beach and a public parking lot. They provide beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. First night there was an event in the hotel so dining at the restaurant or rooftop wasn’t open to hotel guests and the second night the rooftop was closed. It does get noisy at night in the rooms from the music playing in the lobby and rooftop.

Solid hotel with friendly staff.

Nice but uncomfortable.

The place is conveniently located and it is adorable, we stayed on a lower floor and the rooftop was closed that night, so no issue with noise. The bed, however, is SO uncomfortable, like sleeping in coils. No parking or valet, there is a lot across the street.

We had a great stay at Casa Faena. The atmosphere is beautiful but it’s an older hotel and has its cons. Limited outlets, thin walls, scalding hot water, and the no parking situation was a bit inconvenient. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and the location is excellent.

Hotel had no name on it. Only one staff member on duty at any given time so there was always a wait. No parking at the property. Only a bed in the room. NO CHAIRS of any kind. The noise from the music to the people in the halls. I would not stay there again.

Good experience

It was a pleasant stay. Clean, beautiful decor, great service and the room itself was comfortable. Yet the music is a bit loud at night time, not a family friendly type of hotel but good for couples or people that enjoy the night life.

Love this hotel, one of my favorites

Hotel charged us for the stay and refused rooms even though stay was confirmed. They haven't processed the refund and are delaying the process! Very unreliable and poor service.

No sleep hotel - loud club

This is Gitano’s club with a few rooms at the back. If you want to party it is perfect. If you want to sleep don’t book. Sadly the location is misrepresented on the website and does not say the entrance is same as the bar Gitano’s.

This is a great property, quaint building with a nice bar and lobby area. the staff is welcoming and for my needs was conveniently placed. that said, the room was exceptionally noisy due to the air con and felt like the room was in constant movement with everything shaking. I woke up in the middle of the night because of the noise and was forced to switch off my zircon, but that still didn't fully alleviate the noice and constant shaking in room.

Staff was very nice and helpful with check in and check out, but the property, services, and amenities were not up to par. Arrived on a cold night and the room was at a chilly 65 degrees. Heat was not working. Requested a room change for one with working heat and was given a space heater instead. Requested robes that never arrived. Floor was sticky. No bedside outlets for charging. Bathroom was underwhelming, almost like a motel. Disappointing stay, not worth the cost of the room. Will not be staying here again.

Hotel is in a great location near Faena which offers great food, live music, spa & shopping. Our first room was thumping with music @ 7 pm. We changed rooms and it was quiet. Nice rooftop bar.

This is one of the worst hotel i have been in my entire life. To start, the first room had a brown liquid in the bathtub and the sink was outside of the bathroom. The second room had hair in the bed that was not ours. On top of it all, the wifi did not work no matter which room were in and the outlets were also broken. We requested to leave immediately but they would not issue a refund so they upgraded us to the supposedly best room which turned out to have a broken fan right above our faces that would not turn off. We had to move a forth time at 2am to a queen bedroom when we had paid for the King Suite. Fair warning for anyone that want to stay at this hotel and visit the beach, the hotel only provides beach chairs and not beach loungers. You have to carry them yourself from the hotel to the beach and if you are lucky they will not be broken like ours were.

nice property with lots of restaurants within walking distance. Beach is across the street. Hotel provides beach towels and water. Parking is available at Hotel other location and a bit pricey.

The staff were so friendly and made you feel so at home

It was great that there is staff 24/7. The room I had, had plenty of room to move around plus a large enough of a table I can work on. It's clean and did the job. On the negative side, there was a missing do not disturb sign. But was fixed once I mentioned it. The shower was the biggest item. Turning on the water was not the easiest thing and requires a bit of fiddling. Same with turning it off. The biggest item was how slippery the tub was. There is no mat to help not slipping in the tub.

Really charming boutique hotel, very good price for the area. Room was hot - AC was not working properly, took all night to cool off, shower valve was very difficult to turn on and off and tub drained very very slowly so at the end of shower i was standing in ankle deep water. I did alert the manager to the issues and they were apologetic but did not offer me anything, Not a deal breaker, for the price i would give it another shot

It was difficult when I arrived to the hotel and found wasnt a reservation in my name and wait 3 hours until the manager got to the hotel after That the Hotel and the costumer services is wonderful they make me feel welcome amazing services I can’t wait to go back a Gem in Miami Beach…

Rooms are not quiet too noisy could not sleep well but the hotel is charming and the staff is exceptional

We enjoyed our stay very much. Hotel is very cute. Staff is nice and welcoming. Beach was very quiet, which was a great surprise. Did not love bringing the chairs across the street, but the price of the hotel for the area can’t be beat. The chairs were the catch. It was hard to get them up and downstairs, and across A1A. The rooftop bar is absolutely beautiful. It needs some major service help. The space is underutilized. Go across the street to the Hotel Faena for breakfast at least once. It was such a treat.

This is my Second stay in Casa, the first was when it was Casa Calridge and its only gotten better. I love the new addition of Gitano and the roof top bar. Even though there was alot going on on the roof it didn't effect my sleep, and our room was directly underneath. Only feedback i wish they would bring back the chairs and private beach area. the hotel does have chairs for us to carry over to the beach and towels but it would be so nice to have it already out there!

The hotel is fine. But maitre d in restaurant is rude and there is no priority for guests of the hotel. Meaning it’s hard to even eat in the hotel you’re staying in.

Horrible! Worst place I have seen . We had to leave in the middle of the first night. 1- nicely redecorated but no major works were done. No noise isolation , old sink with mold ... we could hear like if people were in front of the bed when walking in the doorway, coming from the elevator or ... peeing in their room. But the worst part is the extremely loud music with basses on the roof top over our heads and at the restaurant below... In fact it is a party place with rooms for happy endings not for customers who want to rest! 2- when we explained to the staff that we couldn’t sleep like this , the first stupid answer was: “it’s miami babe!” The manager did not got back to us that night. We have decided to leave but we wanted a confirmation email that we will get a full refund. It took us 2 hours to obtain it after: my daughter went crying across the street to the Mother hotel: Fanea hotel- we packed our suitcases and waited in front of the desk and the only elevator used by guests and outsiders to get to roof top and talking to everyone. To get rid of us, they finally sent a very confusing email....but it took 3 days of constant emails to them and Expedia to get our refund. Make yourself a favor: AVOID THAT CASA FAENA PSEUDO HOTEL AT ALL COSTS.

No R&R in this Casa. Service good.

Checked in for a Friday-Sunday quiet stay for rest and study time. Room was large but basic and uninviting. Tile floor slippery. Restaurant was terrible and really busy. The roof top bar was a problem. 1 elevator or a stairwell gave access to a great space but I’m certain it was over capacity and was a haven for loud music and drunk people. Volume did not reduce until after 1am. The open atrium provided for lots of reverberations. The walls were throbbing with the people in the stairwells and all the attendees on the roof.

Terrible.

Walked into room - dirty underwear from previous guest in the floor behind the door in the bathroom. Loud club music from floor below was vibrating the floor. Complained for an hour with no resolve so left to a different hotel. Refund stay immediately.

My casa faena stay

Amazing !

A great little place, staff very warm. Used gym at big Faena across street. Easy access to beach area, easy in general to stay there.

Nicely updated classic boutique hotel in excellent location. Unfortunately the restaurant/bar was under renovation so amenities were scarce.

The hotel was closed for maintenance and I was not told until I was checking out of the main property, Hotel Faena. The Hotel Faena staff was amazing and detailed to assist me. They gave me a room at the Casa Faena rate and my stay was even better. Ended up being a perfect vacation after a long week of work. They understand luxury and client service experience.

One of the best hotels worldwide- food, service, amenities - nothing is left to chance here. Even the smell is amazing. Staying at the Faena is like living in a dream!

Expected a better experience, patio was dirty with empty drink bottles, bathroom smelled and no childcare as mentioned on the hotel information.
