Loved it!
Enjoyable stay
Comfortable stay with fantastic breakfast, fun with alpaca, and nice restaurant.
El hotel tiene muy buenas instalaciones y servicio. Está alejado de los centros poblados, por lo que recomendaría ampliar su oferta gastronómica
Once you arrive at the property it’s an awesome experience- the vast property with green grass and sitting areas next to fireplaces and others was great! The property has 3 Alpaca and 1 lama and those are very very friendly- my kids would not stop talking about those :) The breakfast is great and the staff is awesome and there are things to do in the property. The view out our window was so awesome. Now coming to the issues - the property secluded and we were arriving after 10pm on a rainy night after our flight to Cusco. There was a road that was closed and it had no directions. Our taxi driver was confused and we were worried as there were no signs from the hotel. He eventually went back a kilometer and figured a way but it was a bit confusing for sometime. Since we were arriving late we ordered a small pizza for our kids but when we reached we were told that the order was not made and the kitchen was closed. There was nothing within walking distance so our kids slept hungry. I loved the property and will stay there again but next time we will plan better !!
Buenas instalaciones
The place the property is located has a pretty nice mountain view. There are few activities to do within the property arranged by the management which is good. The only frequent issue i had is with the room access card which kept locking out which is pretty annoying.
Do not think twice about staying here. The rooms are great, the grounds are beautiful, including an on-site observatory, and the staff is world class.
Perfect location to relax and enjoy the Sacred Vallet
Interaction with Llamas was my daughter’s most favourite activity.. we enjoyed lounging in the hammocks too.. resort was beautiful. I wish we stayed another night..
Buen hotel
El personal en el restaurante muy lentos en atender, la comida no es Muy rica. Las almohadas de las camas demasiado duras e incómodas. El hotel es bueno pero falta que su personal sea más activo y mejor preparado.
Excellent stay
Very cute suite and nice staff
Excellent place to stay in Urubamba area
This place is A1. The views from anywhere in the property are spectacular. The staff are also the best, super friendly and helpful. A lot of things to do on the property, feeding the Alpacas, Cebiche making classes, Pisco making classes etc. Special thanks to Luzbelinda, Yonel, Rocky and Yasmin.
Great! Especially Mr. Rocky!
Beautiful place, views are amazing. Restaurant is really good. The kids loved the alpacas on site.
Great resort, rooms particularly bathrooms need some updating.
The landscape is outstanding. The hotel is surrounded by the mountains. The green all around is amazing and very relaxing. You have a good feeling of the Sacred Valley. It is a great escape from the city. Personnel is so kind and helpful. Lovely place!
The alpacas are a unique touch to the atmosphere. Loved playing the hames and hanging out in the court yard in the hammocks. Very relaxing. The room beds were to hard for my back. Food was great juat dont eat the lettuce.
Quiet surrounded by nature, good location to explore The Valley and train station.
Excellent resort, highly recommended. Food was excellent, they had a small market on site for Alpaca wool products. Lots of amenities for kids including feeding Alpacas, movies, board games and an observatory with a telescope and planetarium on site! Very helpful staff, especially Javier. I hope he gets a promotion!
Rocky at the front desk was awesome! Donalson made our dinner experience unforgettable!
Great property - lousy restaurant
Gorgeous property. Super comfortable bed and up to date rooms. Would be a great place for families. Only issue is the restaurant is mediocre. Food looks fancy on the menu but isn't the best ingredients. Also the included breakfast was not good. All the meat items were of the lowest quality. Everything appeared to be purchased as the lowest cost option. Too bad, because everything else was fabulous.
The location is excellent, has a beautiful garden , excellent restaurant and very friendly staff . Spa is the perfect touch to finalize the day after long walks .
Loved everything about this place would highly recommend.
The breakfast was very chaotic and the amazing staff couldn’t keep up with all the people. Also, they ran out of coffee and never brought a new carafe.
The property was extremely peaceful, calming and clean. The grounds were maintained very well. The observatory, alpaca petting, bonfire and hammocks made the stay even more pleasant. Excellent staff catered to all our needs. Especially Rocky and Aliana were very hospitable.
great location
Very clean , friendly staff
Great location
Great location and friendly staff. Definitely I will recommend it to my friends and family
Great location, very relaxing andpeaceful setting. Great service, great food, spacious rooms and great outdoor space
Wonderful hidden gem just outside of Urubamba. The property's grounds are well kept and inviting, featuring a covered outdoor seating area, two jungle gyms for kids, and a fire pit. Spacious rooms, great service, and a tasty restaurants. We weren't able to experience the planetarium as it was undergoing maintenance, but I hope to take advantage of it on a future visit.
Beautiful location, eco-friendly, great service.
Great stay
Por que duplican el valor de taxi cuando van al hotel????
Oasis in the Valley
This is the kind of hotel where you would like to stay for at least a week to enjoy the restorative peace of the grounds. Surrounded by mountains and beautifully manicured grounds and hammocks for stargazing. Spectacular property. Its also a good base from which to take a train to Machu Pichu or go explore Valle Sagrado.
Great property, wonderful staff but the main problem is there is no climate control in rooms! It was super hot and they had to bring a fan
Very nice place, quiet, beautiful, good located. I recomend this hotel
Excellent choice. Good for families.
Great resort!
Very nice hotel in the sacred valley. Really enjoyed out time here
Stunning - Highly Recommend
We absolutely loved this hotel. The quality of the room was outstanding, hotel grounds were gorgeous, and they even had baby alpacas that we got to feed. We wished we had stayed longer to enjoy the views and relaxing atmosphere. Restaurant was a little pricey for dinner, location was too removed from the closest towns to walk, would have had to take a taxi. That was the only drawback, was the distance from the towns.
Good place to visit Machu Picchu and sacred Valley
Great Place, service needs improvement. Not impressed by the restaurant’s service.
Nice location. Food was good.......................
Very pleased withour stay at Casa andina in Valley Helped to adjust to the altitude sickness while we were on our trip to Machu Picchu the urubamba train station is close by and we could easily catch a taxi and get back to the train station to get to Machu Picchu other attractions like salt mines are also close by the staff very helpful especially people at the concierage like Anthony Daniela and other people like Xavier. my six-year-old daughter had a good time playing with the alpacas and baby cows the breakfast was excellent and the restaurant was very good
Best kept secret in the Cusco area.
This hotel was such a surprise. I was a travel agent years ago in Peru. I would have never suggest this town to visit never mind spend several days there. Casa Andina Premium Sagrado Valla is one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. For the money you get a 10. The property is beautiful, the rooms are large, the beds are so comfortable, the food is excellent. And the server Belinda was the best made us feel very welcome she needs a raise. I will continue going back for years to come since I’m a missionary to Peru. It’s the best resort in the area for the money by far. He stayed there because the altitude is much lower than Cusco. This gives you a few days to acclimate before you go onto Cusco.Or you could just catch the train there and go to Machu Picchu. And just visit Cusco and I have to put up with the altitude and breathing difficulties that can occur. Listen to me when I tell you this place is beautiful. I have traveled around the world and this is one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed.
Location, staff, coziness, comfortable rooms, good menu.
Casa Andina First Time Trek
The hotel was very nice, the decoration is amazing, very comfortable. The rooms are heated which is nice since Cuzco is cold and heating is not typical in Peru. The food in the restaurant was delicious. The Spa is a little small and the hot tub could be hotter but the massage ladies are amazing. We did the couples massages and left feeling totally relaxed and helped our sore muscles. The staff members are so well trained and eager to help out. They are very friendly, polite and give you all the information you need. The bell man Rocky and Yuri are so cool and friendly. The moment you walk in they help you with luggage and greet you with a coca leave tea. They are always giving you advice and they are very patient.
The property is beautiful, well maintained with friendly staff. My daughter had a wonderful time feeding the baby alpacas and enjoyed time in the spa. Breakfast was excellent-there was a fabulous spread. Our only regret is that we did not get enough time to enjoy the place.
Middle of nowhere luxury!
AMAZING stay at this beautiful secluded hotel!
The hotel and surroundings were beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was excellent.
Joint room Cottage option with outdoor shower, fireplace, and hammocks
the management is a disaster . i do not recomand this hotel as per management is horrible . they don t speak english , they are not welcoming , they charged my card twice . the staff speaks english and are nice . But i insist management is a disaster , they don t respect people , they treat their staff really bad . The spa is a disaster the masseuse speaks in quechua in between each other and they are saying let s finish it fast and go home . They are not respecting the 1 hour massage . The managment is not welcoming and only wanna get your money .
We were not very happy with the food. I did not finish my dinner and my husband did not either. The dishes were not well made. Breakfast buffet was also a disappointment.
Very nice place, vety friendly staff, good food ccccccc
Nice and unique location , breakfast is great and the around is beautiful
The staff is outstanding. They bent over backwards several times to help us when we had issues. The rooms are large & clean. They have a nice spa & gym. The food and service was great. We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone interested in staying in the Machupicchu area.
The hotel is beautiful, the rooms spacious and luxurious, and the restaurant is good. The hotel staff is especially wonderful. We had a ride scheduled to take us to the train to go to Machu Picchu that didn’t show up. The hotel helped us quickly call a taxi that drove extra fast to get us to the train on time.
Really nice hotel in beautiful setting. Short ride to Urubamba or Ollantaytambo. You can have the desk call a taxi to Ollantaytambo for 40 Soles or walk to end of the road and catch a Kombi for 2. We chose the later. A taxi back after a nice dinner in Ollantaytambo was 15 soles. This hotel is so relaxing and has a very good morning buffet, spa and nice little bar.
Beautiful views
Paid for a second night could not be happier Room food people very nice hotel
Lovely hotel with beautiful grounds. Very nice rooms. Facilities were pricey to use - sauna should not have a charge. Restaurant was good.
Great Staff, very helpful and they did everything that we could have asked. Johnathan was especially helpful.
Premium hotel
We stayed four nights and enjoyed it immensely. Not cheap, but Expedia discounts helped, and it is worth it. Heating was provided.
Overall we had nice stay at Casa Andina. The first night was not pleasing. We were given room with 3 twin beds for 4 people. Room was very cold and not enough blankets were provided. We complained about these issues and next day we were moved to better room with 2 full size beds and extra room heater.
Beautiful resort. Excellent staff. Would definitely stay here again.
Like: cleaningness. Dislike: cold weather and outdoors ameneities did not match.
Very peaceful , excellent amenities, breakfast , rooms are clean and with a private terrace . What a unique and gorgeous place . Staff is verified friendly and always ready to help .
Excellent experience. Hotel staff is extraordinary!
Stay here if you can
Great place. Truly captivating, in the valley of multiple mountains. In the center of a truly traditional Incan influenced town. You will not regret staying here. The service is superb.
Beautiful hotel, perfect place to stay if visiting Valle Sagrado
Stop on your way to Machu Picchu
We stayed here in our way to Machu Picchu. The hotel is very nice. We had a bedroom on the second floor so it was not as convenient but we did not mind. We were awake every morning by a symphony of birds, which was delightful. The only but was the cleaning lady did not replenish the toiletries on the second day. They were helpful getting us a taxi. The breakfast was good
Beautiful place to stay
Amazing view, staff are very friendly. Beautiful room very confortable. Peaceful location. Restaurant food is delicious my favorite trucha rolls
Lovely find
Had a very relaxing 2 day stay in the middle of our busy tour. Lovely hotel & staff. Plenty to do in the local area if you want to go out, or you can laze around in the hammocks as we did.
We booked this property for the planetarium. Dave did not show up either (wonderfully clear) night. And no back up person. Very disappointed. Food is fair. Nice rural setting tough taxi is needed to go anywhere. Overall 3* rating.
Great stay
Awesome hotel! No complaints Great staff location and clean rooms
Wonderful resort in the heart of the sacred valley
This resort was great for the resort, food, comfort, and 1st rate all the way. Checking in was the only bump in the road as the staff was a bit harsh and demanding. 1st impressions can be misleading but after we got to our room and checked out the many other pluses of this 1st class resort the check in staff was a distant memory. Check out was much better. The restaurant was great as the resort is well off the main road and away from other restaurants. The breakfast buffet was surperb and the staff was very attentive and only wanted to ensure your comfort and support. Highly recommend. Main issue was not having enough time to really enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the resort in all its beauty.
Secure, Groomed, & Great Staff
Located about 10-15 minutes away from Urubamba Train Station and Downtown Urubamba. Was a pleasant oasis during a long backpacking trip. Well manicured grounds, and attentive staff were the best part of the stay. Star gazing in the hammocks was a pleasant additional after a long day.
This Place Was Awesome
The staff was very helpful, the room was extremely comfortable. We were lucky that the night was perfect during the planetarium presentation which made it most enjoyable.
Nice Hotel in the Sacred Valley
My fiance and I stayed at Casa Andina Sacred Valley for a week in April. It seemed as though most guests only stayed here for a couple of days possibly to explore the Sacred Valley then move on to another location. Since we stayed the entire week I feel we have a good idea about how to review this hotel. I will give the pros and cons below. Pros: +Hotel staff= Super friendly and hardworking; all of the hotel staff this includes front desk, waiters, hardworking restaurant manager, bar staff, maintenance, housekeeping, bell boys....everyone. +Taxi/Airport= Use the hotel's airport taxi service, sorry Expedia the service you offer is ridiculously expensive +Landscape=BEAUTIFUL!!! You're surrounded by nature (Alpacas help keep the lawn looking nice). +Comfort=1st international hotel that I was in where I could easily have a comfortable sleep. The rooms are clean and the bed is perfect. +Location=This is a great location if you want to experience the Sacred Valley and visit Machu Picchu (the train station is not too far); the hotel is in between Cusco and Machu Picchu. +Food/drinks=the food is pretty good at this hotel; we got to experience the entire menu and found some favorites; extensive drink menu (wine, liquor, fresh juices) Cons: -The shower/tub; even though there are handles in the shower, management really needs to install some sort of slip resistant bath mat -Draws=there's only shelves in the rooms -Spa=Both my fiance and I weren't impressed with the massage
Love this place
Amazing property nestled against the Andes. It has a gym, restaurant and access to nearby town
Not so sure about this place
We tried to check in but it took forever to check in and we were in a hurry. There was only one gentlemen in front of us and they lagged forever. Took like 15-20 mins before we were able to get to the room. Also during the check out the staff seemed uninterested and lazy. We tried to buy bottled water and they seemed to make fun of my husband and I. Bathroom was a disaster. Water would splash onto the floor every time someone took a shower. There was no fan so all the moist are would linger inside the bathroom. There was one window right next to the shower but it was extremely cold outside so and everyone could see you, so therefore you were stuck being in a humid hot bathroom for hours.
A splendid stay
It was 2 days of relaxation to give everything Honestly everything is top notch Congratulations to the staff with their performance for making our stay unforgettable All A1 I will always be grateful and will take with me an unforgettable memory Congratulations again
FantStic location
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff is fantastic and was very accommodative. Would recommend highly
Amazing staff
My fiancé decided to propose at the hotel and the staff made an amazing surprise possible
Beautiful and secluded
Casa Andina in Yanahuara was a beautiful hotel to stay. It is secluded and so quite and peaceful. Everything was first class: very well kept gardens, excellent service, great breakfast buffet, spacious rooms, large bathrooms. If I would complaint about one thing it was that the heater was too small and slow to heat up for such a large room.
Nice hotel to rest
Overall my experience is good, the staff was very friendly and helpful, they helped me to get printed my train tickets and also provided useful information about how to get transfer.
Nice quiet hotel, close to nature.
Nice quiet hotel, close to nature, great food, thoroughly recommended.
This was our first time staying at Casa Andina. The room was great, very spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable! The price was good for the accommodations.
Wonderful hotel in the mountains
Beautiful scenery, peaceful and relaxing. The only down side of our stay was that the spa was closed for maintenance the day of our stay.
Beautiful yet not particularly accommodating
Beautiful grounds. However, nowhere outside to sit to enjoy. A few hammocks gathered together close to the lobby, but not enough sitting area for the size of the property. There is no a/c nor fans in the room, and although the nights are cool, when there is more than 1 person in the room, it can get hot. Couldve left the balcony door open, but bugs wouldve devoured us. If it wasnt for the aforementioned, and the fact that you can only use free wifi in the lobby/restaurant (considering there isnt much going on), it wouldve had a higher rating. Restaurant is excellent, mostly due to the hospitality and service of server Abel (food is really good too).
Amazing Resort!!!
Awesome hotel that feels like a resort! Check in and out was smooth - very friendly staff. Restaurant was good and Abel at the restaurant deserves special mention.
Beautiful resort like facility
It is a beautiful resort like facility overlooking mountains. Efficient and courteous service. Good restaurant. They even have an Alpaca & Lima on property! Each room had a private balcony too!
Beautiful setting in the Peruvian mountains
Beautiful vistas, gardens, accommodating staff and the perfect setting to begin our journey in Peru and visit the Inca ruins in the environs and beyond.
Very nice clean hotel, central locatioin
Keep in mind central location requires a taxi to get to the main attractions in the area, however, it's only about $50 usd to get to most attractions and have a taxi driver wait for you all day and escort you around, so $50 gets you pretty much a driver for the day and you could hit up multiple spots. The good thing is it's out of the way, quiet location, good food, good selection, little pricey on the food but the rooms are extremely affordable and a good bang for you buck. Plus the staff is very friendly.
Great Hotel in Urubamba Valley
We had a car, so our experience was different. The hotel is around 6 large blocks from the main road. Most tourists depart early morning in their tours and return late afternoon in their shuttles. Most Peruvians like to have dinner outside the hotels due to the fact that the culinary offer in the Valley is very attractive. Food in the hotel is excelent. I recommend to take the "Observatory Tour", which is inside the hotel. They explain you all the constellations (there is an english group and a spanish one). The staff is extremely helpful, great rooms. You can always trust a Casa Andina hotel, they have around 18th hotels all around Perú. Very recommendable.
Nice and peaceful
Perfect location right in the middle of the valley
Had a wonderful stay!
Wonderful!
Secluded in the Middle of the Sacred Valley
This is the second time I am coming back to this Oasis in the Middle of Urubamba. Their Villa Rooms are large with a an in-door and out-door shower. Yes, you can shower under the stars in complete privacy (only in their Villa Rooms)
Nice setting but awful service
I booked the hotel as a peaceful place to stay while visiting the ruins around Cuzco. The hotel pictures looked great and the setting really was, but the experience was not. First of all, the noise: I was in a first floor room and could hear all the steps of the guests in the room above, all night long and early in the morning. Hard to sleep and got woke up early with all the noises from the walking upstairs. The restaurant was very pricey, compared to other places in the area...not worth it. The breakfast buffet, included in the rate, was just ok. We ordered room service one night and got charged 20% extra over already high prices. When we were done we called for the service to be picked up and left it out of the room, it was still there when we left in the morning. I stayed in the same hotel chain in Cuzco and the service there was great, not here.
Spent three lovely nights here
The staff were magnificent very helpful. Nice place to relax after tours etc Very quiet and private.
