Great stay. Aircons cold. Easy parking right next to cabin with covered outdoor space. Pool could have been a bit cleaner but kids had fun. Shade around the pool would have been the icing on the cake. No issues would stay again

Nice clean unit. Comfy beds. Lots of ants but to be expected. Pool was great! Have stayed a couple of times and been please each time.

I really appreciated the friendliness and courteousy of the staff and the high level of cleanliness in the park and in my cabin. The facilities are in need of refurbishment, but my cabin was secure and the air conditioning was excellent.

This place is in a very convenient location, and the staff are great. The prices are appropriate for the age and deterioration of the facilities. The showers were a tad unclean, wet and mouldy and slippery. The unit vinyl was ripped and open in numerous places, and the door was falling apart, but besides those things, the room was clean and all items in the room worked well.

Place should be condemned. How its still operational is beyond me

Overnight stay in a bungalow

Room was comfortable and tidy with a private shower/ bathroom . Very suitable for my needs.

Didn’t get the cabin I booked and paid for, not offered any compensation, robbed the first night while we were sleeping. Apparently , I left the key in the cabin door, suspicious of this given I couldn’t close the door properly due to poorly hung curtains. Robbed of every cent we had yet the manager said ‘Lucky the key wasn’t taken, I’d have to keep the $50 cash deposit’. Charming. Didn’t offer to call the police, offered no assistance except to call us a taxi and to call the Cairns airport staff after I had called the police to stay my phone was found discarded onsite, Be warned, do not stay here, 2 taxi drivers warned me, should have listened.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The cabin was clean and tidy.

The cabin was well equipped, very clean and parking next to our cabin. Woolworths and Coles within 8 mins driving. Very safe caravan park. The only little negative was the sofa cover and curtains could be replaced.

My first time in a holiday park. I loved my little home. Easy to get into the city as the bus stop is right outside for 50 cents. Shared facilities were clean. Friendly staff. Only downside is no wifi not even in the reception area as ot was not working. I was there 3 days and no wifi throughout.

We booked a standard family cabin for 5 nights at this property. However, upon checking in at 10 pm on the 8th October, we discovered cockroaches in multiple areas, including the toilet, kitchen, wardrobe, bunk bed frame, clean towels on the bed, under the bunk bed mattress etc. We immediately approached the night shift worker, acknowledging the infestation. Unfortunately, his response was dismissive, attributing the issue to the tropical location. As a tropical region native, I know this is not an acceptable excuse for inadequate pest control. The staff provided bug spray, which we used, but more cockroaches appeared. Exhausted, we decided to find alternative accommodation last minute and left the property without knowing if they would refund us as the night shift worker mentioned he couldn’t do it and we will have to speak to the manager next day. We promptly checked out and found another room elsewhere, costing us $100 extra for a last minute booking. We emailed the property the following day, and they agreed to refund our stay, estimating a 10-day processing time, we hope we receive our refund soon and the property owner take action for preventing it in future.

Perfect for a quick layover. Very affordable and close to the airport. Area was a little bit dodgy but, we were not vacationing there so it was fit for purpose for what we needed.

This place is really bare bones. We used to own a motorhome and have stayed in many RV parks in the U.S. We have not stayed in the "park models", as we call them, but this unit was very, very basic. Small shower with no place to put shampoo and conditioner. We stayed there two nights. Found a cockroach in the kitchen cabinet the second morning. Glad it wasn't the first. We had not cooked anything. Staff was friendly. Breakfast restaurants are a long walk away.

Ok so for $100 a night it was better than I expected by far. Yes the room was old but super clean and has everything you need. We do a lot of camping so not fussy and spent the money we saved on accommodation on a nice meal.. oh reception was helpful and friendly cheers

Facilities very outdated - including very old, very loud air conditioners which made it hard to sleep at night. The dining table in my cabin seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned properly as it was very sticky (gross!). Overall a pretty average and not so comfortable stay unfortunately.

Low budget accommodation, nice'n clean. It's worth for its price. Good for stay there for a couple nights.

Loved everything about this place. The simplicity, the service, the price, the convenience. Only thing is pool could have been cleaner for the children. Thank you.

The property is in need of renovations and updating. Furniture is old and torn. Doors are off there runners and don't close. Gutters leak. Only has hotplate and microwave didn't work. Won't be staying there again.

I loved the position. Negative was the fronz rubbish on the roof of the next home in the park. It was a dirty roof l8ke mildue with fronz piled up . on it. Otherwise no complaint

Cabins were cute and decently sized. Had a few bugs but were clean otherwise. Water was only hot for about 2-3 minutes before getting cold.

Wash room too small and congested.

Do not let the low price of this accommodation tempt you like it did us. We had spent 3 weeks travelling in a campervan using shared toilets with no electric in rural areas of Australia and they were all cleaner than this property. The bedding had multiple stains on it, there were cockroaches in every cupboard and ant infestations on the ceilings in the bathroom. When we brought this up with the management they said “it’s a tropical climate what do you expect”. When expedia were helping us with our issues they spoke to the management who explained that the room was cleaned prior to arrival, this im sure it was but clean is not a word i would use to describe this cabin. The owners here have no interest in the complaints nor rectifying anything moving forward. Luckily we have pictures of all our complaints as evidence of our claims.

After searching many park options for a 10 day stay in a two bedroom cabin I was very impressed with the overall presentation of both the park and cabin. The cabins do need some TLC however, the cost, service and cleanliness more than made up for it. Thank you to the lovely staff. Maria

Pleasant surroundings but cabins require updating and roadway concrete surface in some areas badly cracking up and this is a safety issue.

My favourite place to stay

The tv remote didn’t work, the smoke/alarm detector kept going off for no reason. Although this is not the owners fault, we were put beside a picnic table where a bunch of people were smoking and drinking and being very noisy. When we came in the room, the windows had been left open and all the smoke from their cigarettes was all over the room - it was absolutely terrible (I get migraines and nausea from the smell). The people smoking and drinking were noisy until past 4am. If you can book somewhere else, I’d highly recommend skipping this one.
