The rooms were far smaller than they appeared in the pictures, but overall a lovely place and the lounge area was superb! Added bonus, the drinks were very reasonably priced.
Perfect location, right next to Tivoli Garden and the train station. Staff were friendly. We arrived in the morning and they checked us straight in. Room was nice. Just wish we had more amenities in the room as we kept having to ask for more as they didn’t clean our room during our stay.
The room is very small with a tiny toilet. The shower head water pressure is terrible, need to use a cup to take water from the basin to bath instead. This is not a hotel standard it is a dormitory.
A great place with good communication when issues occurred because of flight delays.
I thought the staff were very helpful and friendly.
Close to main train station
Location and breakfast is fabulous. The room is clean and efficient
Unusually tiny room. No air or fan and window was locked to only open three inches
Great location, everything to see is in walking distance. Arriving from train station is a 5 min walk. Ideal low cost stay, only negative is the room is very small but we only used it for sleeping and showering and for 3 nights so it was manageable. Staff helpful when need to ask something. Would have been nice to have cups, tea, coffee in the room but these needed to be collected from reception. Overall great stay, clean rooms, perfect location for city.
It was a great experience. I fully recommend. Thank you very much.
I have stayed here multiple times. Yes, it is minimalist, but that is Danish design. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Bus 5 C from the airport, close to Tivoli, train station—clean, warm. What. More could one want.
Budget hotel, good location
It's a budget hotel and the room is fine. The bathroom was poor and the shower was connected to the taps in the sink. It didn't work and was unable to wash my hair during the stay. I paid for the breakfast buffet and was disappointed. No choice and poor quality. I would stay again if the shower worked. Staff are friendly but for the price it is a good pick.
Everything was good , location/ price / accessibility
Really good area, right by the train station and Tivoli Gardens. No frills but perfect for a city break. Breakfast wasn’t great so probably wouldn’t pay to eat there if we stayed again, but that’s the only gripe.
Great location, tours, Tivoli Gardens. Nice places
Very nice staff helpful and friendly. Room had all our needs and was warm.
IM MISSING AT LEAST A BOTTLE OF WATER WHEN I ARRIVE TO HOTEL AND AT CABIN THERE IS NO WATER. I FIND THE ROOM COLD AND NOT EASY TO FIND OUT HOW TO REGULATE TEMERATURE GERT KRISTENSEN
Close to train and Tivoli
Basic hotel for exploring Copenhagen
Perfect for solo traveler
Nice place next to Copenhagen train station. Perfect for a solo traveler. If you’re going to be out and about most of your trip, then this is where to stay. Clean, comfortable, and in a safe area. Great price too!
Was very convenient due to location
Luggage checked at hotel costs extra. No daily towel chances must do yourselves. Breakfast buffet is a plus. Staffs are average.
I deal for a few days . Location great. Bed was comfy. Small radiator couldn't cook an egg on it . No cups or milk or spoons in the room . Just on paper cup out of a vending machine. No vetalation in the shower to get rid of the steam. One main electrical socket . Should been one around the bed. Breakfast was ok. But hmeet balls and potatoes . For hot meal no. In a land of world famous bacon . No beans , eggs . So I would pay a bit more for a better hotel bigger bed ect and quieter
Great hotel for sleeping, great buffet breakfast.
Only there for a layover but the night manager was beyond kind and the bed was actually addicting in its comfort 5 stars!!! Wish I could stay longer 🙌🙌🙌
Clean hotel, friendly and helpful. Basic room but ideal for a short stay needing somewhere just to sleep
A nice stay
Advertised as a budget hotel, so it gets 5 stars as a budget hotel experience. We had a family room for 5 nights, with a queen bed and a bunk bed over the top. Room size was fine, beds were comfortable and clean. Hotel location was great, just a few metres from tivoli and the central station. Temperature could not be controlled from the room, but was fine the whole time. The only criticism is that the toilet/shower is a wet room, so once you’ve showered the floor in the bathroom is wet throughout.
Good affordable location
Good location. Weak wifi signal. Clean room with windows. Practical aircraft cabin sized bathroom. Short walking distance to the amusement park, convenient stores, metro.
Nice and simple hotel for when you just need to sleep.
Convenient location, clean, friendly staff
Thanks! Great options for convenience and budget.
A practical, well located stay
The room and bathroom were very small. The lobby could have been cleaner. Staff were friendly and it was a great location for walking around town.
I selected a great hotel
I had never stayed at Cabinn before, but so glad I chose it. I arrived there tired and irritable but left refreshed and content. The room is small but has all one needs, with many amenities. The luggage room was the best as it allowed me to wander around Copenhagen until my night bus arrived. The front desk staff was great and so helpful. And the location is fantastic, right near the central train station. There's a large area to sit down and relax and enjoy a drink or watch TV. Overall truly satisfied and looking forward to coming back there again in the future.
Great location basic no thrills
The main positive of this hotel is its location. A stones throw from Tivoli and Copenhagen central. You are about a 10-15 minute walk at most from the best the city has to offer. The hotel itself, the room was basic but had tea and coffee making facilities which I was very grateful for. The room was clearly occupied by someone with long brown hair before me as I found plenty of their hair dotted around the place. Including on one of the pillows and the drain of the shower. The communal areas were clean and well appointed. I spent a couple of evenings reading with a beer in the lounge area. I cannot fault this place for service and location but the cleaning standards in my room were disappointing
It’s really small and super simple. Because of the bank bed and the shower not separated from the toilet it reminded me of a train compartment. But it was clean and safe. Breakfast is good and the staff is extremely helpful and nice.
The hotel is very well located, close to downtown, metro, Central rail station, busses.
I had a wonderful stay at Cabinn City Hotel. The location is incredibly convenient, just a short walk from the main train station and close to many of Copenhagen’s key attractions. The hotel offers great value for money, especially for a central location in a busy city. Though the rooms are compact, they are thoughtfully designed to maximize space, and they have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The beds are cozy, and the room was clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any requests or provide helpful recommendations. Overall, Cabinn City Hotel is perfect for travelers looking for an affordable, comfortable, and centrally-located place to stay in Copenhagen. I highly recommend it!
Room was very clean, location was great, close to train station, and shopping. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, lots of good options. Only issue was bathroom was very small, especially shower, and pretty much everything in the bathroom gets wet. But the good price and everything else more than makes for that.
Small space but very functional. Very nice and specious lounge area. Great value for the price!
bathrooms , a little uncomfortable for shower
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here .. close to main transport hub and restaurants, cafes and attractions close by. I travelled solo and felt very safe
Very budget friendly stay, with just everything you would need in a room. It is cozy and small but it did what we needed, comfortable sleep and walkable experience.
Staff so nice, rooms were great value for money, great location
Normal hotel good location
Very small room with cigarrete smell, good location, very near from central station. It has room storage free and bikes to rent The rooms requieren transmmformation and no service is provided.
Cleanliness and excellent location!
Convenient
The 'pod' bathrooms let the hotel down slightly. Doesn't seem to have an extractor fan and whole floor gets wet when using the shower.
The staff at the front desk was super nice when we checked in and when we asked about where to get Danishes! The room was clean and the place was very quiet.
Very central location and amazing staff members. I will come back again! 😀
Unpleasant stay
It’s hard to describe the feeling when you walk in a room that is tiny and dirty. The bunk bed above our head had no safeguard, I was afraid my child would roll over in the night. Had to book another hotel for the rest of our stay. In all fairness I talked to the receptionist and they paid me back the 2 nights we didn’t stay. Wouldn’t recommend the hotel unless they drastically change the cleaning. I have no issue in staying in 2* hotel as long as it’s safe and clean.
Very small room but good enough for just sleeping and getting a bit of work done. My room wasn't very clean though - the bed sheets had some hairs on it upon arrival, climbing onto the bunk bed to another pillow resulted in some black stuff falling down to the below bed. I brushed both aside but I really wish I didn't have those issues.
2 night stay. Rooms are small like its name Cabbin and bathroom very small, found if had shower the whole floor got wet so had to put a towel outside the door not to get the room wet. Staff very friendly and helpful with local information. Good location and could walk everywhere we wanted to go but could take the metro close by if wished. Could travel from the airport on public transport. Shops close by and places to eat. Could leave luggage all day and used facilities when we returned as not leaving to late evening. Fine for us only needed a bed and shower and were out all day
Excellent location ... 2 minutes from the center of town, main station and city square ...
Tiny and basic.
Very basic. You get what you pay for. TINY room. Shower next to toilet. Need to request cleaning. Uncomfortable bed. On the plus side, the room was quiet. And you can’t control the heating or cooling.
The hotel dod the job. It was in agreat location, the staff were all really friendly and the beds were comfy. It was hot when we were there, so the room was uncomfortable at times and the window didn't open much, no air con etc. The bathroom needed upgrading and felt like the equivalent of an aeroplane bathroom! But it was the cheapest option for best location. Fantastic cafe round the corner and stones throw from the station and Tivoli Gardens.
Great location but no air conditioner in a small room in Summer, imposible to stay inside during the day.
Centrally located hotel for sightseeing
The hotel is ideally situated a few streets away from both the Central Train Station and the Metro - easy travelling to and from the airport. The hotel was great and breakfast could be bought for a surcharge at reception if wanted. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast each morning as there was plenty of choice. Our hotel room (Commodore) was very basic: wet-room type shower, single beds, desk and chair, hairdryer - everything we needed. If we ever come to Copenhagen again we would stay here again.
Perfect place to stay for a city break
If you’re after luxury, then this place isn’t for you. But if you’re after a comfortable, convenient hotel at a fair price for a couple of nights, with friendly, helpful staff, then you can’t ask for more. Was slightly worried about the ‘aeroplane’ type bathroom, but it was fine, with a good, hot shower. You can check in late (my delayed flight arrived after midnight) and it’s only 5 minutes walk from central station. Also has a secure place to leave your luggage after you’ve checked out. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
For the young, minimalist, good fir the rest of us no soo much
proximity to where i wanted to be
Rooms small with a funky shower. However, rooms economical for area. Rooms well laid out for size with storage areas. Staff friendly and helpful. Great location with easy walks to everything touristy. Its not full service but its good service. Try Anderson bakery across river
Nice clean Hotel with friendly staff. Bikes for hire at a cheap rate was a bonus.
The bathroom was very difficult to work. Shower and sink run off one source and it was impossible to use one without the other one spraying. The electrical also didn't work and we couldn't have both lights on or they would flicker and brown out.
I like that it was clean, plenty of space and close to train station.
Good hotel for the money, no frills but clean and pleasant. The location is very good. Couple of criticisms - no plug sockets by the bed, the room was fine for me but would have felt quite small if there had been two people, towels are small. WiFi is excellent. Staff were nice and helpful.
The bathroom is smaller than airplane bathrooms. The room is equally tiny. There is no place to keep your stuff. Staying is like torture. Bunk beds are like hammocks....no proper back support. Never ever stay here again
Terrible Property. Zero customer service. Worst experience ever
Great bang for the buck especially for the budget-minded. Breakfast gave added value.
Too small , bad WiFi , no room service
Pros : 1. Close to central station 2. Friendly staff 3. Clean Cons : 1. Very very tiny room 2. Shower is too tiny and you can practically take shower while sitting on the toilet - yes - it’s that small 3. No daily cleaning of the room and if you want fresh towels- you need to take the dirty ones downstairs at the reception and carry the fresh ones yourself 4. Very very bad WiFi
Rooms are tight, no AC, and no space for luggage.
The hotel is close to Tivoli and main train station. The Winnebago style bathroom design is not the best and the lack of towel hooks is an oddity. The hotel is still a good value and comfortable and I would stay there again.
Excellent location, very walkable. The room was clean and the staff is very friendly.
Friendly staff
Very poor value for money, but kind helpful staff
Price is far too high for what you get. The staff was really very pleasant, but the service is bare minimum (no service in the room in 4 nights which I guess is standard). At €110/night, you get the smallest hottest room (no AC and the road and streets nearby very noisy) that I've experienced in 15 years of extensive travel. The bathroom is a small wet room with a poor switch from sink tap to shower which means water runs on you from the shower as you use the sink and vice versa. The carpet was dirty and would really benefit a refresh. The breakfast (extra €10/pers.) scrambled eggs were the worst I've ever had 😂. I wouldn't mind all this at €60, but at €110 it just really isn't fair value.
Hostel with a private bathroom.
It is similar to what I would expect from a hostel. Much smaller than anticipated, but that was fine. My biggest issue was the combo bathroom/shower. It was usable, but not what I expected. As advertised, it’s basically a place to sleep. I would be unlikely to book this type of hotel again.
Great
Good option for an overnight stay.
This property is in a decent location, not too far from the train/bus station, right next to Tivoli Garden. The staff is friendly. It is very cramped. There is no airconditioning, so it is necessary to keep the door open at night, but there is a lot of noise from people on the street throughout the night, let alone the fireworks from the Garden itself on Saturday night. For us who needed to get adjusted to jet lag, it was especially challenging.
No aircon, almost no shampoo.
No aircondition made the hot night very uncomfortable. Amount of shampoo/shower gel was so small as to be practically useless - one must bring one’s own!
City Break
The Hotel is located near to the train station and various bus stops. Within walking distance of all main attractions of the city. The room was very hot because of not having air-con or even a fan in the room.
Cabinn City Hotel is great if you are traveling and want an inexpensive no-frills hotel room in a great location. We loved how close it was to the central train station (10 minute walk) and a major bus line (across the street). It is also close to a small convenience store where you can buy drinks and snacks. The breakfast was also very good with a large selection of meats, cheeses, breads, yogurts, and some hot items like eggs and potatoes. One "downside" for some is that the rooms and bathrooms are incredibly small. This hotel is not the hotel for you if you like to spend time in your room. It is for people who want to get a good nights sleep and be out for the entire day. For us, that was perfect. The bed and duvet were remarkably comfortable and everything was very clean, the shower water was hot, and the location made this hotel very worthwhile. Our favorite part was that it is very close (5 minute walk) to Kalvebod Bølge, which is a wonderful swimming area on the canal, plus kayak/SUP rental, cafes, and more. It is a must visit if you stay at the hotel. Anyways, enough said, don't book the hotel if you want to spend time in your hotel room, do book the hotel if you want an awesome location, good breakfast, and great place to sleep with friendly staff.
This place has NO A/C or airflow. Even with the windows completely open, we had to prop our door opened to get cool air in. After showers, the people on the top bunks were subjected to stifling hot, humid air. In my 20s I would’ve said this was a great place as I was not as picky with cleanliness…but now with kids, I’m much pickier. Arrived in the room & someone must’ve spilt a drink as the carpet was wet/sticky as was the table & chairs. The bathroom overall was not clean. This is definitely more hostel than hotel. I did not enjoy using the squeegee after my showers but had to since the water got all over the bathroom floor. They use sheets for the bed mattress so it was a constant fight to keep them on the mattress during the night. Beds are pretty narrow so one kid fell off it and the other kept turning into the wall. I did really enjoy the breakfast buffet and the area is very convenient.
A good economy accommodation, simple but all the necessaries. Though the bathroom spaces were a bit small and shower underwhelming, it was comfortable, the water hot, and platform bed reasonable. The breakfast was simply outstanding and worth the price of admission!
Was perfect! Rooms felt like a cruise cabin
Excellent location
Was ok
The rooms were very small, didnt smell good, the bathroom had a moldy smell. Staff were very friendly
Small but clean
If you are here on the weekend you Will hear the fireworks go off at the amusement park not too far away at 23:30. The walls are also quite thin so you can hear all your neighbors also. The layout of the room is also quite odd with no outlets near the bed, and the shower/toilet was small and reminiscent of an RV bathroom.
The rooms were small but adequate. It's not like we spent any time there apart from sleeping. Wifi in rooms is horrible but it works fine in the lobby.
Room was too tight for 3 people, there is no proper lighting and there is no ventilation in the toilet. Good thing about it is its location
Very kind staffs and fixed my shower right away
Excellent hotel in an excellent location
Only good is location, walkable the staff very helpful if you need any questions they’re happy to help. Thank you
Its was ok.
Great location, great staff, hotel could be better
Came with some friends to see the sights of Copenhagen. Hotel is in a really good location. A 10 min walk to the train station. The staff were fantastic and super friendly. They gave me great advice on how to navigate the bus network in the area. The rooms, although they have smart linen, are tiered and the wet room/toilet shower is a little to be desired. Unless you want to be constantly attacked by a clingy shower curtain you have to remove all absorbing materials and use the small room as a full wet room. Biggest downside, no air conditioning in the rooms. The hotel will supply fans but we were there in a small heatwave and the rooms were stifling. The windows are on a safety catch, to prevent them opening, which can be bypassed but I wouldn’t be comfortable doing that if you have young children. I don’t have the breakfast but those in my group that did said it wasn’t anything to wright home about. Overall we had a good stay. Would I go back, maybe but I would probably look for options with air con
Good enough.
Simple. Great for overnight stay to catch early train. Comfort not a priority. This is for sleep and shower. Not comfort
CPH Trip
Room was so hot. Window would not open or close very easily.

Basic accommodation in very small rooms but suitable for an overnight stay
