Basic accommodation but it was clean, the pool was very nice and great location for Barrington Tops. The fresh milk provided was a lovely bonus.

They are in the process of doing up the rooms so it wasn't perfect, but still comfortable. The pool area is nice. The staff went out the way to help with anything. A lovely quiet town which we used as a base to visit the Barrington tops national park.

The manager was very helpful. Bed was so comfortable. Shower pressure was great. So quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed the one night on the last day of a trip. We have stayed here before and will again in the future. Our room (No3) was upstairs and a good size. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was the best we had all trip. Everything inhouse was in working order and the fridge was generous size. Thank you to the staff.

This motel is very dated. I would rate it as a 3 star motel.

We had a great stay there , there was a bit of noise early due to some construction , but that is obviously temporary. I would definately recommend The Buckets Way Motel

Under new owners this property is a work in progress. Friendly and helpful owners got us out of a tight spot. Good, cheap breakfast, bar on site, a short walk to everything in Gloucester. EV owners note there are plans to instal EV charging which is lacking in Gloucester.

What a surprise package this place was! Just an overnighter for me and a mate as we were passing thru on motorbikes. The Manager offered to allow us to park our bikes around the back, in front of their private garage, out of public view and under a security camera. Also offered us towels to dry our bikes in the morning as it was raining. Rooms were clean, well appointed and comfortable. Bistro food was yum, woodfire heater was warm and the staff were friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay again.

Although a little tired, with new managers to make, I am sure this place will get top ratings. The bed was really comfy and the heating was effective.

Good clean room and water pressure in shower

Clean, comfortable queen bedgood room, table and chairs outside front door to enjoy a cuppa or glass of wine, use of cutlery, crockery and bar fridge. Excellent common lounge area for group drinks and the best scrambled eggs, bacon and toast and great pot of coffee brought on time to my room. Friendly ans helpful hosts. I will be back.

Bucketsway Motel

Great choice of motel which was at the end of gloscester township. Just 4 minutes from the CBD. Hotel Mgr very helpful with information, good to experience that he was supportive about the local area. Keep up the good work Murray!

Unfortunately our room upstairs smelt of smoke which made it v unpleasant for me to be in. Otherwise staff were very helpful. Restaurant meal was good.

We enjoyed being able to sit by the pool and watch the sunset behind Gloucester Heights.

Ive stayed in 100s of places. First time ever given milk for coffee. In a old jam Jar. Wifi kept dropping out. Was to pay for room when i got there. Took money off my card without me knowing beforehand..

The hosts David and Michelle are the nicest people you could ever meet. The Motel is so clean and comfy and their home cooked dinners in the restaurant were wholesome and delicious. From someone that travels all over Australia this is the best country motel on so many levels I have been to in quite some time. Highly recommend.

Property was well set up and in normal times they have a restaurant on site which is helpful. Was a very easy walk into town with hotels, cafes etc in easy reach. They also had lots of information in their folder about the local area, walks, etc to take. Beds were comfy and all the niceties were included.

Lovely stay

We have stayed before and would recommend to others. The motel is just on the edge of town if you need anything but the motel also has a good restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay, with the area having so much to offer. Looking forward to a return stay. Thanks to David and Michelle.

Comfortable and easy to book online

Good family facilities. Nice pool and green space. Handy to parks.

Toilet paper was down to last little bit but the new roll was in the cupboard in the furthest point of the room from the actual toilet, not reachable. There was a smell in the room, like smoking. Bedding was clean.

The Bucketts Way Motel is an older style county motel and is in a perfect location for the town. We found the the staff were ready to help in any way when asked. Our room (18) was a little tired but the bed was very comfortable.The bathroom set up was good and an excellent shower. When next in Gloucester this is where we will stay.
