Amazing room close to the rim!
We had our own little cabin in THE best possible location on the rim of the Grand Canyon. You can’t beat that. Two shuttle bus lines stops are literally in front. We didn’t need our car for all three days. You also can walk East or West for miles on the rim trail which is right outside of our cabin. Thank you. The staff is very helpful and dining options are great.
Bright Angel cabins are excellent for a visit to GC. The Bright Angel trailhead is right there, and the restaurants, visitor centers and viewpoints are easily walkable.
We loved our cabin at Bright Angel lodge, literally steps from the rim. It was an amazing experience which was the highlight of our holiday.
Convenient location. Room was nicer and larger than I expected
our 55th anniversary trip
Weather was lousy, staff so very kind, and helpful.
Very close to the rim. Everything clean and neat and orderly
Fireplace and a view, worth the splurge!
We stayed 1 night in the cozy adobe cabin following a 3-night backpacking trip to the bottom of the canyon. Great shower and comfy bed, all felt very private compared to the main lodge areas. Enjoyed watching the snow fall over the panoramic landscape alongside the glow and warmth of the fireplace.
Great location
Convenient location, just front of Grand Canyon, the rooms very cozy and keep the antique arquitectura and the personal very friendly
Great hotel. But unacceptably thin walls
Good to be steps away from the Canyon. The walls were thinner than they should be. We didn't mind the rustic feel or other historic details, but, really, we could see our room can be configured to be two rooms side by side and our walls were so thin we could hear EVERY WORD of the guests next door and we could tell they weren't talking loudly. That wall needs another layer or insulation or SOMETHING.
We stayed in a cabin, it was perfect for two nights. The shower pressure was amazing although the shower was very very small. The room seemed very clean. I wish they had firma pillows. Otherwise I’m very good to stay.
Amazing location
Beautiful cabin right on the edge of the south rim so you wake to the views of sun rising over the canyon. There are all the facilities of restaurants and bars just a few doors away. You can set out for your trek (down into the canyon or around the rim) straight out of the front door.
Wonderful night on the rim of the Grand Canyon
Wonderful stay right on the rim of the Grand Canyon. Historic Lodge, but updated nicely.
Area
Our cabin view was 30 ft from the canyon edge. Very nostalgic cabins. Restaurant was good. Fair deals at gift shop.
We had a cabin on the rim. Wow what an experience we will never forget! The cabin was spacious, clean and comfortable even at -10 degrees C. We had 1 snow day and one clear day and they were both perfect! The view over the cannon when you wake up was truly stunning, a lifetime memory. Restaurant was great too.
Enjoyed the small cabin, understand they are duplexes. Unfortunately the bed was subpar. I hope it was just our cabin.
Beautiful view, a few steps from the Grand Canyon rim. Renovated rooms.
Bright Angel Lodge has such a great feel - a little like you’ve stepped back in time. We had one of the cabins and while it is pretty tiny (you’d better like who you are traveling with), it was comfortable and you simply can’t beat walking out the door to the rim of the Grand Canyon! It may be time to update the bathrooms soon, but they were fine. The access to the Canyon more than made up for it. We had breakfast at the on site restaurant where the staff was lovely. We had dinner at El Tovar next door and the setting was gorgeous (I did find it a little pricey for the food quality but that wasn’t surprising considering where it is)
Amazing park accommodations, we stayed in a canyon view cabin, it was great size for 2. Cozy and warm for January! Great location to walk and get to hiking trails or drive around as well. We will be coming back and staying in the GC again!!!
Steps away froom the rim. Views are amazing. Staff and service are great. Room was comfortable. Will definitely return. So happy we chose this location to stay.
Walk out your door and gaze into the Canyon! Can’t get any better!
Convenient location close to rim trail however tv did not work and WiFi very spotty. Bring a book.
Front desk couldn’t issue after 4 requests
Amazing Stay
I had a lovely stay st the Bright Angel. The staff arlt the reception and travel desks were super informative and provided amazing customer service. The locstion ias unparalleled with amazing views of the canyon. My cabin/room was well appointed, really clean and cozy. Plenty of towels. The most azimg part is how the Grand Ca yon Railway delivers your luggage from the Williams depot directly to your room. It was fantastic! I will definitely stay again.
Hotel room is average at best. No TV or chairs to sit in. Outdoor lighting poor. The real benefit is location near the Grand Canyon. Just a few feet from the south rim. As they say .,. Location. Location. Location.
Great place to stay
Just lovely we ate in the pub. Food was beautiful . The room was lovely and quaint
Our stay was very close to the South Rim.
The Lodge is right on the rim of the Canyon, our room was self contained, clean and warm.
Beautiful haven of peacefulness. Lodging comfortable with everything one needs. Only drawback was being able to hear neighbours in next lodge, thin walls. Staff very helpful, food excellent in restaurant, good service.
Great place to stay, the bathroom vwas very little and a bit uncomfortable but besides that everything was good. The front desk attendees bcould be a little friendlier, they have a restaurant with lots of vegan and vegetarian ootions. The also have a small souvenir atore, the guy at the register was very friendly and helpful, I'll recommend this place.❤️
We loved staying at this historic property inside the Park. It is such a beautiful old place that blends into the Canyon's landscape. The Restaurant was excellent as well. We had dinner at the El Tovar Hotel and found the dinner and service to be excellent and the dining room beautiful and historic.
Wonderful experience
Historic, interesting, quaint little cottages right on the rim walk. Unbeatable location but otherwise average in terms of dining and amenities. Decor appropriate but a little tired.
Perfect lodge location on the Grand Canyon!
The view from the rim cabin was phenomenal, and the cabin was much cuter than any photos I had seen online. Very cozy. Hated to leave. The only thing that was odd was that they would not provide us with wifi access before we were actually given the room key, even though we had paid for the room. It was a couple of hours shy of check-in time when we asked. No explanation given. Very odd and inconvenient. Nevertheless, once we checked in, we had no complaints and would definitely return and recommend.
We love the Canyon!
It is really great being so close to the rim. You just walk a minute and you’re looking into the Canyon. This cabin had a locked connecting door and we could really hear the people in the other room through it. Crying baby the first day and coughing man the second. It wasn’t too terrible but just made it slightly less than ideal.
Cozy cabin room near the rim with a comfortable bed and easy chairs. It was very clean and the coffee was good. We’ll return.
Would recommend
In the park, thus relatively expensive. Quiet but a bit old cabin.
Convenient location!
Historic
Great location on the Canyon rim. Only down side was the walk to our cabin with bags.
What a wonderful hotel! It’s right on the rim and is so quaint and in keeping with the history of the resort. Whilst the room was small it was so cosy, especially for the winter time. I’d recommend booking a partial rim view, being able to look out of your bedroom window at that spectacular view was special.
Stayed here to hike in the grand canyon. Conveniently located at the bright angel trail head with a hiker express bus in the morning that went to South kaibab trail head. We hiked the SK-Tonto-Bright Angel route (~6.5 hours) and it was nice to end the hike with a cold beer at the nearby restaurant and warm shower afterwards just a minute walk away.
Good condition.
The historic cabins were very nice, clean & updated!!
Loved the cute little cabin and it was a great place to reset after hiking around the Grand Canyon.
Stayed two nights with my daughter, very convenient location in the middle of the village.
The cabin at Bright Angel was clean and, although small, was roomy enough. Each staff person with whom we came in contact was friendly and efficient. We would definitely recommend Bright Angel.
Totally enjoyed my stay
We can’t to see the Grand Canyon and our cabin was less than a two minute walk from the rim! We were able to walk quickly to great views, the Kolb Studio and the Lookout Cabin. ! We were right next to Hermit Road and not far from Desert Rioad, both with great lookout areas. The cabin itself was small but perfectly spacious enough for a couple. I actually loved its cozy vibe. probably because it is winter, we had no problem getting parking right near our cabin. We had a couple of good meals at Arizona Steakhouse; as pescatarians, my husband and I very appreciated their abundant seafood and vegetarian choices. We could also walk a few minutes to El Tovar to dine in their dining room. My only complaint is that no one had fires going or hot chocolate or hot cider! That would have gone nicely with the lodge feels!
Great stay, Room was very clean and nice, just steps from room to the rim of the canyon. Good variety of food and shopping options on site and close by hotels. Plenty of shopping and hiking options.
Very family oriented and clean
Location was excellent
Right on the rim of the canyon. Walked outside to see the sunset. Amazing. Dining options on property were good
The room was styled as a cabin, with a lovely adobe style gas fireplace in the wall, and a view from the windows into the Grand Canyon. The bedding was comfortable, ample pillows and blankets, two chairs and a small table. Also a minifridge and a single cup coffee/tea maker. Bathroom, though small, was well equipped. Some outdoor seating facing the Canyon for leisurely viewing. A short walk to the Main Lodge with it's community fireplace, museum, restaurant and gift shop. Try the fudge!
Amazing Location!!
The little cabins were cute and comfortable.
Second time staying with them. Recommend the Arizona steakhouse
Old but good
Our room was upgraded to a cabin with a canyon view since we were celebrating my husband's birthday. The room was comfortable, cozy and it takes cabin to a new level.Tara the bartender was friendly, informative and welcoming.
Loved the access to the beautiful rim view of the Grand Canyon.
Amazing stay at Bright Angel! Simply the location makes it worth it, and when they state a minute walk to the South Rim, it could not be more true. The lodge was quaint, though you could hear if there were neighbor's. I'd say this comes with the territory of being more outdoors. Certainly held a feeling of nostalgia, even though we've never been before. The only item I'd note as we went in winter - it is cold, and the only available extra blanket was not something I'd put out at home. There were multiple stains, and absolutely should be replaced - if staying, just a simple check. Hard to ding compared to overall stay, but worth a mention.
room door and check-in staff.
The scenery was great which I booked this location, lodge is very old and small as usual. Lobby staff check-in was terrible reaction without any memory when I complaint for room door closing issue. by the way, room door is not locked easily ... only locked with extreme power SLAM only.
Great place to stay! Can walk right to the Grand Canyon rim. Few restaurants in walking distance.
Cabin was very clean, cute and comfortable. Front desk was very friendly.
Location
Within minutes of the Grand Canyon rim.
Awesome experience, location couldn't be better. Right on the rim of the Grand Canyon. Staff were excellent, cabin was clean and well kept. Will be back for sure.
Very comfy at the BA Lodge!
The room was tad dusty (top of alarm clock and lamps), and found a sponge 🧽 under the tub. Otherwise, very clean. The alarm ⏰ clock went off at 6 a.m. (!!), fortunately we were up. It might be a good idea for housekeeping to check the clocks.
Bright Angel is right on the south rim with amazing views just steps away. Stayed in one of the cabin units - very quaint and nostalgic, kind of takes you back in time. One note: it's very dark at night and hard to see the cabin numbers.
Outstanding views from the Grand Canyon right at the door step, sparkling clean room, very comfortable bed, and very friendly staff. Unfortunately, poor sound insulation so would recommend ear plugs. Also, one side of the double bed without light switch, bedside table or charging plugs.
Nice for the price! Right by the red-line bus to hike the south-rim trail and the Bright Angel trail.
Great Lodge.
It was a wonderful stay. Great lodge.
Very nice place to stay
Cozy on the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Restaurant in the bright angel lodge was mediocre
Avoid getting an adjoining room if you aren't going to use both. The separating door is very thin and you will hear everything very clearly. Also avoid getting a room near exit doors. Needless to say, we got this kinda room and got zero sleep. Otherwise, can’t beat the location which is yards away from BA trailhead.
Receptionist was phenomenal!! Needed if possible got last minute change and she did exceptional!!
The setting is beautiful. The hotel rooms are basic but adequate. Our room was very cold and there was no extra blanket.
Stayed in cabin from which we could see the rim of the Grand Canyon. Loved it.
It's on the rim of the Grand Canyon! Duh!
Loved staying right on the rim. Walking along the rim and into the canyon …amazing. Beautiful, stunning views at your door step. Cabin was quite small, and didn’t have a microwave, but comfortable.
Beautiful.
We love the fact that the property is right on the rim. Walk out the door and 30 feet. We saw the beautiful canyon. Will plan to return someday.
How is this day and time do you have a scratchy Analog TV in a $300 a night hotel room!!!! Can’t even watch 30 minutes of news without it going black and coming back on 2 minutes later… Unacceptable!
Parking for hotel guests should be more available but anyone in the area can park there
Cozy cabins within the park with easy access to shuttle system to take you to many stunning viewpoints of the canyon
Location is Unmatched
The location to the canyon is unmatched. You are steps from the Bright Angel trail. Decent restaurants within walking distance. The cabin is small. Very small. The bed was smaller than a queen. Maybe a twin. Glad my wife and I are small people. The coffee maker in the room needs improvement, but the “fountain” is a store nearby that opens at 6:00 am that has great coffee. Other than that it’s a great place to stay.
I asked for handicap room they gave me one with staiirs There were few lights outside cabins
.
The hotel is really nice and the location is very convenient.Nice to wake up early morning to watch the sunrise.
Able to walk around. Good view of the canyon. Cleanliness. I like the atmosphere.
Comfortable accommodation close to the rim of the canyon ! Restaurants close by!
Vacation
The only hiccup is the parkinglot other than that very nice
Proximity to the Canyon was awesome -2 minute walk. It was a little hard to find parking but eventually did.
Absolutely magical staying in the park right right on the rim! The Lodge is historic, rustic and charming!
Good place
Perfectly located for Grand Canyon visit
