Great helpful staff. Hotel is clean but a bit dated and smelled like cleaning chemicals. Nice breakfast buffet with a great view of the beach. Very busy noisy area on weekends.

Great location, services and foods. Beach just right in front of the road (walking distance). Lots of seafood restaurants near by. The only compliant is nice bathroom but the tub got to go. It took some much space. Bed is big not super soft like U.S. but comfortable enough. The best thing was their breakfast. Food is better than most restaurants that we been to.

Excellent service , very happy with everything , would love to return here, the staff is very very helpful and their English is great so easy to talk to them.

Nice hotel, however they are selling rooms that don't exist. Instead of a king and a double, we got a king and two single cot beds thrown in the living area. Then to top it off we were told the pool was out of action. So what to do with two young kids in Danang when it's raining? Advised them were were leaving before breakfast started and were given an embarrassing breakfast pack of two slices of in cooked bread with one packet of butter, a boiled egg and an small apple like fruit. As a way of apology, was given a Grab car to the airport which is 5km away. No refund, no discount. So a terrible experience. I wouldn't recommend.

Stayed two nights, no maid service. Had to go to the store to buy toilet paper. Manager would not allow me to print boarding passes. He wanted all our travel information, passports, email and phone numbers so he could do it.

My wife and I recently stayed at the BlueSun hotel for 15 days, a decision that helped make our trip absolutely wonderful. The location of the hotel is perfect, right across the street from My Khe beach and walkable to the numerous areas of interest in Da Nang. The staff were the best, just fantastic, for they always presented a kind and helpful attitude and were genuine in their efforts to make sure the stay was pleasant. The facility itself was in the process of renovation as we were there, yet the current condition surpassed what we needed. My wife and I do recommend the BlueSun to those who plan on visiting Da Nang.

Good and enjoyable stay

This hotel stay is enjoyable. Staffs are very friendly. Giving lots of advise. In this hotel, they have local tours for you to book. Cost is similar or sometimes even cheaper as you compared with the prices outside. I have also took up the hotel SPA which is good as well. I have spend 4 nights in this hotel and I can say, the stay is good..

I enjoyed my stay at the Bluesun. Staff is very attentive to our needs and quickly resolved issues. The balcony view of the ocean and rising sunrise is amazing! Location is excellent with nearby restaurants and shops within short walking distance.

This hotel looks nice in the app and booking website but the services and amenities are not as good as it looks. The pool is in door but only 1m deep, also smells so so bad because they use a lot chemical stuff to clean the water, no staff or towel provided at the pool area when we were there in the afternoon. The food is below average. The rooms are not well sound proofing, you can hear everything loud from the hall way both sides.

It was hreat to be over the road from the sea, though the front room was very noisy from the road traffic and people outside. Shower iver bath wouldnt suut everyone. But ok for us. Other wise good price for a nights stay.

This is a 4 stars hotel with 7 stars service. What an incredible place. Could not recommend it enough!. Just returned from our 3 night stay. Location is amazing, Ocean front hotel, walking distance to all that My Khe, Danang has to offer. The executive connecting room was specious and clean. But the best thing about this place was the friendly and helpful service and staff. We absolutely loved our stay and could not recommend it enough. Can’t wait to return.

Character hotel that takes you crack to somewhere around 1965 - in a good way! Had everything we needed, including a good sized balcony (rare along the beachfront) with terrific panoramic views of the coastline. Great location, right across the street from the beach, with a crosswalk right at the doorstep. Crossing the street is easy. Staff were attentive and in good spirits. It’s been a couple years since covid started, so tourism is just beginning to ramp up, thus the breakfast buffet was replaced by a terrific traditional Viet breakfast on a couple days (a surprise which absolutely thrilled us), and the pool/rooftop bar weren’t operating, but again, that was ok with us. It takes money to run those things & it takes guests to bring in the money; it will all come (Vietnam only opened up to tourism six months ago). Overall, five stars! Great hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again on our next trip!

Initially the size of the rom we were given on our arrival was much smaller that the one we paid for. It was only when we made a complain and after the first night when we were moved to a reasonable size room. However this one was facing the back and literally 2 meters away from the following building... it was like being in a cave.

Had a panoramic sea view suite with a balcony on 12th floor, view was spectacular. Staff were very helpful and friendly and some had very good english ability. The young women in the restaurant were outstanding, so courteous, helpful .The food was very good. The breakfast like most other hotels was geared more for their Asian guests but I found plenty to eat and it was very good. I really enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend it and if I return I will definitely stay at the BlueSun Hotel.

Easy to access to the ocean, I don’t like the fact they counted everything included bath towels hands towels, and we missed 1 face towels and everyone was asked do we know where’s the towels. It’s getting annoying

Nice but with a caveat

Hotel was nice. It's all you really need. It's very close to the beach and very easy to get to the airport. The breakfast buffet was great also. The only caveat is a lot of Chinese tourist groups seemed to stay here. Some of them were very rude, especially at the buffet area.

The staff from front desk to housekeeping were very nice, helpful.

Hotel is amongst a large amount of similar hotels along a busy street on the sea side of Da Nang. Note: there is a new hotel currently under construction next to this property, so it’s a bit noisy. (Da Nang seaside seems to be a large construction side ...)

Great location: across the street from the beach and close to many restaurants. It is a smaller hotel, which i quite liked. By far, the best part was the exceptionally friendly staff. They made me feel very welcome and were very helpful with local tips in the city.

Wonderful place to spend our 20th wedding anniversary! Panoramic suite very large room, very clean, soft bedding & towels. Little choc w/ card telling us weather next day made us feel well-looked after. 50% spa treatment happy hour rt at hotel amazing! Smiling hotel staff arranged transportation for 1/2 day Hoi An trip, local museum & wander around temples. Easily met requests. Western & Asian breakfast. Hotel rt. across from beach. Stayed two nights in 2 linked family rooms. Facilities to be improved little more. Ocean view from living room was fantastic but the view hindered by balcony grills when you sit back on sofa. It could have better view if it was glass panel like the hotel just beside. Acceptable breakfast. Good Beach accessibility that was reason why I stayed here. Overall fair to me.

Like the title really, stayed for the two weeks in this hotel and the service are good, staff are all friendly and helpful, facility were good, rooms are clean and comfortable, the sea view from the room was stunning, and the breakfast buffet was just blooming awesome! A beautiful beach literally just across the road, highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to da nang especially if you are into beach and sunshine and a relaxing time! Thanks blue sun hotel :)

Nice hotel close to Beach and with a pool. The service is good but not as good as the smaller hotels we visited around Vietnam. The restaurant is not worth it compared to food other places.

Fine to stay to be entertaind by the ocean

Spent minutes in the pool and watched the shore from the sky bar. And very close to the main area of the shore and nice place to stay.

The location was so good. The family room is separated. It was comfortable and nice

I had an excellent stay at BlueSun. I was in Da Nang to relax, drink beer, and do absolutely nothing stressful, and had absolutely no issues doing any of that. The service was excellent, from the front desk staff to the restaurant staff. I would be happy to stay here on my next trip to Da Nang, and highly recommend it to others.

Was not happy with this place.....way over priced for what is in the general area

Poor hotel

I was so disappointed about the hotel. They gave me the wrong room type and refuse to fix it. What's more, the hot water supply for shower was very limited. It only last 8 minutes then start turning cold.

Not worth at all.

Expedia agent wrongly mentioned the room as with sea view. Expedia called the hotel and would like to submit a free upgrade or free cancellation for me but the hotel refused. Hot water was so very insufficient, each shower should finish within 10 minutes else the water start being cold.

Better than expected

Having booked for a weekend on very short notice, and receiving a very inexpensive package, I was unsure what I might be walking into but I couldn't have asked for any more! The staff were exceedingly polite and helpful. When I arrived I couldn't get the key card to turn the power on in the room and within 2 minutes a manager and engineer were in my room fixing the problem. The room itself was extremely clean and comfortable with a great view of the ocean. If I go back to Da Nang it will likely be the first hotel I look for.

Great facilities, close to the beach

Hotel facilties were great, the buffet breakfast was a highlight! Nice location near the beach however it is quite far from the city centre so do consider this if you plan to do most things in the city centre.

Nice hotel

A new hotel just across the road from the beach. Good location, lots of restaurants. Hotel staff did struggle with English but where happy and attentive. Rooms were small but of a nice clean standard. Bathroom was one of the best I had in Vietnam.

Nice view and location

Stayed 3 nights in the VIP room over the weekend. Room is big and nice view. Breakfast pretty much the same. Hotel staffs is excellent and good service.

Cost effective and convenient

My wife and I had a pleasant stay at the Blue Sun Hotel. Hotel itself has nothing to shout about. The room was clean, comfortable and fairly spacious. Only complaint of the room we would have is the bathtub is not well arranged. There is no wall or curtain at the back to prevent water splashing all over the floor if you are not careful how you position yourself when taking a shower. The balcony is small but does has a nice view of the beach. Breakfast is average at best but I guess you would expect that for the price of the room. The swimming pool on the top floor is enclosed so that's a minus. Another very negative point is they would not allow us a late check out to 2pm after we have stayed 4 nights. It's a Sunday and not peak season so it's not as if there would be a lot of guests checking in.

The hotel more than met my expectations. I intend to return to Da Nang, this time bringing my wife;. and I will most certainly make reservations with this hotel; also staying additional days.

Excellent Hotel

Good sea view and location. The room bed is comfortable to us. In-house restaurant provides delicious food in reasonable price, "Set Dinner Menu A" is recommended. You would also taste the yummy seafood at a street restaurant "Be Ni 2" just adjacent to the hotel with lower price than opposite seaside restaurants.

Poor trained receptionists made me lose time.

New build hotel across the road from My Khe beach

The hotel is newly built and the the twin room we had was standard and quite comfortable adequate. Our stay was for 6 nights. The staff spoke minimal english and we found it abit difficult eg. the reception desk were not able to give us information on local tour/trip operators as they didn't understand. The receptionist we spoke to about online checking understood in the end but was reluctant to print our boarding passes if it was more than one sheet of paper. Fortunately when we did do this there was a different receptionist who was more helpful. One day our room wasnt cleaned and when we returned in the evening, it took 30 minutes before staff found someone who spoke better english and then we were told that housekeeping had cleaned out room which they hadnt. We also had a day when we returned to our room mid afternoon when housekeeping came to do the daily clean. When we said we would be leaving again in 10 minutes it was very obvious that one of the cleaners was very unhappy with us. One afternoon we went to the indoor pool and looked to order some drinks but our first and second choice of smoothies they couldnt do despite them being on their menu. We did find the hotel somewhat disappointing and it is quite noisy with piped music in the corridors outside the rooms and some construction noise although most of the staff were very polite. Hopefully with more staff training and experience the hotel will be more appealing.

Absolutely delighted with the BlueSun Hotel and it's lovely staff and can fully recommend. Efficient, friendly check in, beautiful room 14th floor, separate bedroom, spotlessly clean, nicely furnished and georgeous ocean beach view from lounge/balcony. The hotel is modern, across the road from restaurants and beach, an easy cab to town or shopping. When we grumbled a little about some noisey neighbours arriving midnight in an adjoining room we were quickly offered another room 10th floor and later given a (very unnecessary) bowl of fresh fruit by way of apology. We bothered reception staff often with lost cards, help with directions, advice on this and that, and we found them all to be be helpful, sincere and determined to offer the very best in customer service. The breakfasts are excellent with a great choice of Western or Asian fare, and again, all Wait staff quick to help, and always with a smile. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality

Reholdet var helt topp og ansatte var kjempe hyggelige. God frokost. Litt mye bråkete barn i bassenget. Også virket ikke aircondition skikkelig på rommet så det var noe varmt. Jeg hadde så kort opphold så jeg kommenterte det ikke før jeg sjekket ut. De hadde garantert gjort noe med det dersom jeg skulle bo der lengre.

The location is fantastic, with easy access to the coast and wide roads that make getting around a breeze, whether you're renting a motorbike or driving a car. Navigating the area was very easy and convenient, and the hotel even made car rentals simple. The hotel service was solid, but one thing to be mindful of is that if you take hotel towels to the beach, be careful not to get them dirty, as they do charge for any excessive dirt or stains. Aside from that, everything was smooth. Overall, it was a very good and affordable stay, offering great convenience for beach lovers and those wanting to explore the area.

The hotel's service was excellent, but at the end, when I was introduced to the hotel staff and took a taxi that was parked in front of the hotel to the airport, I was charged 1,200,000 VND, more than 10 times the normal fare, and had to pay it. Very disappointing, the good impression of the trip was ruined. The hotel may not be at fault, but I would like them to eliminate malicious taxis.
