The Blue Dolphin was so lovely. The view from our room was beautiful. They served us breakfast in our room each morning. The staff were so kind and helpful. The stay was a real treat!

Fabulous sunset view from the balcony. The tap water tastes salty. We ended up using bottled water to make coffee. Breakfasts were huge. We couldn't finish them.

Wonderful views, unique experience.

We stayed in the cave room. It had incredible views from the private patio. But there is no view from the room. We thought it would have a small view from the windows on the front doors, but those only look out to an enclosed patio. We spent most of the daytime on the patio, but it’s something to keep in mind if there during bad weather. The cave was a fun experience but smelled musty. It was super quiet because of the off season. I only saw 5-10 people near the hotel in 2 days! Beautiful walk to Fira. The breakfast was delicious, and they supplied gluten free breads and cookies. We arrived at 7pm and were surprised to see reception closed at 6pm. There was a note on the door for directions to the room, but it would have been nice if this were communicated before. Easy parking near the hotel. Overall we loved our time here.

As with most accommodations in Santorini, getting to it involves a lot of stairs. Good thing that the team has some muscles to assist with my luggage. Was not expecting breakfast but had a nice farewell meal. Friendly affectionate kitties are around to share the meal too

Fantastic private balcony with great view (no need to go to Oia to watch the sunset - great from our own pbalcony), large room, great breakfast, girl on reception very friendly & helpful.

Breakfast is ok with real orange juice but no milk! Just one mini tomato for each person! And apple-slices not fruit-salad! Too noisy and in the night. on/off non stop noise like a motor-sound/ turbine !!! At 7 am the stuff starting to prepare Breakfast too noisy! Small bed for two! 140 cm! Too expensive for that quality Not again!

Blue Dolphins was amazing. The staff went out of their way to help us feel welcomed and comfortable, even providing an upgrade to a larger room with a private balcony, which we loved! The views cannot be beat and the location is perfect- quiet and not crowded.

We loved this hotel! Amazing views from inside and out. Lots of stairs so not for you if you have mobility issues but we thought it was so special to be perched up on high overlooking the town. It would have been amazing with a pool but you can’t have everything! Great service and a delicious breakfast brought to your room was the highlight for our kids We had a good sized space for our family of four for 3 nights. We loved it

Great location and had a lovely experience overall. Niki and the rest of the staff were so friendly and willing to help in anyway they can. People with trouble using stairs should be aware that the access to this property is via 25-30 stairs downhill from the road. I would book this again!

First of all the staff there are amazing they went above and beyond looking afterbus and making sure we had everything we needed. The room was so comfortable and the views of course were amazing but i really loved how clean and modern the room felt and also the location of the resort

We stayed in the honeymoon suite and the views were incredible from our terrace! The hot tub was perfect for the cold Winter Santorini days and the room was clean and comfortable. Free parking is available and it is an easy walk down to Fira. Just remember it's an uphill walk from Fira to Firostefani. Note the terrace isn't exactly private as other rooms and the main common area can look up/down onto the terrace, but we had a great stay nonetheless!

Everyone at Blue Dolphin was so friendly and welcoming. We were traveling with small children, so we loved that they had available parking, and the rooms were easy to get to. Part of our view was blocked by a building in front of our room, but the balcony was beautiful and had a great view of the cliffside (exactly as pictured on the website). The room was spacious and comfortable; a perfect fit for a family of four. It was also easy to walk to everything we needed. We loved our stay!

Amazing Stay in Santorini

Beautiful view from the room. They gave us room with Private terrace with an amazing view. Breakfast was daily served at the room. Staff were well informed and helpful. Overall a wonderful stay in Santorini.

Great location, superb caldera views from the property, staff and service excellent. The bathroom floor remained wet, no matter how long it was unused, must be humid air. But be careful to avoid any slippery experience.

Beautiful room with amazing staff!

Blue Dolphin apartments are beautiful. I loved all of the curvy lines and the room was excellent. The staff are super helpful and I really enjoyed my stay with the exception of the construction, which included a jack hammer, at 7 am. They explained that they have deadlines to get the construction done by a certain time so it made sense, but it might be good to offer a discount if you are going to have to put up with constant noise all day. It is so lovely though and completely perfect in every other way so I would still stay again noise and all.

Good view of the volcanic island

Stayed 2 nights in this property - it is at the edge town of Firostefani which is sandwich between Thera and Imerovigli. The hotel (like many of the hotels in Santorini requires one to walk down/up the flag of stairs but as isn't too far from the main street thus it wasn't too much of a hike. Should one have big luggage, recommend to ring them up to assist the bag or only bring small bags during your stay here

Amazing service and view from the room! We arrived late past midnight and the staff messaged me ahead of time to confirm on my arrival time and sent me a video of how to walk to my room, so we could check in smoothly. The view from the balcony is breathtaking with the continental breakfast served in front of it!! I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone interested in traveling to Santorini!

Great View, Great hospitality

We rented this property for the view and it did not disappoint. Our child fell sick but having such a great view kept us content. Nikki is awesome to deal with. Grateful for her to celebrate my bday during brunch and for her hospitality. The hotel is 15ish scenic walk to Fira. We visited during offseason so Fira was the closest town. Loved our stay.

Property in a great location with nice views of the caldera. Breakfast in the private terrace with view was great too. The sister hotel that has the pool was closed during low season. I recommend schedule the transfer with the hotel. I liked the stay.

Property is nice and clean, I did not use terrace because it was raining and bad weather, room was nice and clean, enough for couple, no heating in the room only ac, so it was cold, when windy very noisy in room, People who work there very nice and will take care of yours any needs. This should be more than a 2-star hotel. Beautiful view, friendly and helpful staff. We chose to have a caldera view and it was truly stunning and worth the upgrade. It's a great location -- walking distance to a strip of shops and restaurants. The hotel allowed us to keep our luggage there for the day after checkout, and even provided access to a common area to shower/change clothes before heading to the airport. Only downside is no pool, but they offer access at their sister property in another town. We loved our stay!

We absolutely loved our stay. All the staff was so helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable, the views were absolutely stunning, and the location in my opinion is PERFECT! Good location and friendly staff

Great communication from the hotel, they looked after us during our stay. They gave us plenty of suggestions for things to do, allowed us to have a late checkout and arranged a port transfer for us. The hotel is around a 15 minute walk from the town, the walk to Oia and back was around 6 hours with a stop for lunch.

Cave Suite Adventure

Our cave suite was gorgeous and very roomy. The beds were very comfortable and the A/C worked. We just had to keep it on during the day and turn off at night. The balcony view is amazing, especially during sunrise. As for the location, it isn't in a touristy thoroughfare so it's fairly private and quiet for the most part. It is somewhat of a tradeoff for being a few hundred feet away from the first line of shops. Most of the popular attractions are in Fira so to get a whole experience of the town is a bit of a trek since the property is on the less populous end. The good thing is that it's also sandwiched between another town, Imerovigli. It's quieter and less visited than Fira. Our breakfast was great. We definitely love the Greek yogurt and honey combination. I did wonder though why our food wasn't delivered to us but handed from the stairs to the balcony. All the other guests' breakfast trays were handed to them by the door. As for parking, it is a general consensus island-wide that free parking is available in sporadic locations throughout the towns so as not to take up residents' parking spots. Ours was a three hundred feet away so it wasn't too bad. I also like how I was able to contact the hotel for anything, like hotel transfer to another hotel, taxi, etc. Overall, it was a pleasant stay that I can easily recommend.

The Blue Dolphins is exactly as advertise. Our Room #104 was called the "Romantic Suite" and it was very spacious and clean. We stayed in that Room for (12) nights and never regretted a single night. The Staff are super friendly and do their best to make your stay rewarding. We are on a Keto Diet which the Staff was very willing to accommodate for our delicious morning full (not Continental) breakfast. The Blue Dolphin also has a sister Resort called the Grand View which you can visit for (10) euros which I highly encourage you to do so. The Grand View has a very nice Ocean Front Pool with a Pool Side Bar (and surprising good food) and the Staff are just as friendly. My wife and I would definitely stay at the Blue Dolphin again.

My husband and I stayed here recently for three night and we’re so happy we found this gem of a hotel! The room was enormous with two bathrooms with running hot water. It was air conditioned and the staff was super friendly. We opted to pay for the breakfast and it was delicious with assorted breads, eggs, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, and jam every morning! The reason we chose this hotel was definitely for the views. You get the idyllic white buildings so close and an amazing view of the caldera. We did book the room with the private terrace and it turned out great. We ate breakfast every morning with our stunning view and laid on the bed drinking wine with the perfect view. The public terrace is also great if you don’t have the option to book the private one. The hotel does not have a pool but we were absolutely okay with that. From other reviews on Expedia, they can take you to their sister hotel that does have a pool. A lot of amazing restaurants nearby and if you walk 15 minutes along the side of the rode will be Fira and Thera, even more great restaurants. We also paid for transport to and from the ferry for a few! Please note: the rooms are not modern looking at all, but for us this wasn’t an issue. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Santorini that isn’t overly priced like Oia!

Great views and accomodating staff. Street parking is a problem / not available (like everywhere else in Santorini). The hotel is 20-30 step below street level and there is no help with moving luggage.

Amazing view from veranda

Great view from the shared veranda! Though our room (101) the WiFi got very slow once inside, you had to go out to the veranda to get better signal. Helpful staff who helped us booking a car, and the pool at their sister hotel was great too.

The most amazing hotel with the nicest owner and staff. Very courteous. The hotel is in a great location with amazing views from each window. We booked 3 rooms and all 3 were equally nice. The owner made us a terrific breakfast, gave us a botel of wine when we departed and even drove us to the port. One of the best stays ever.

Nice place but the balcony did not have a view.

This place was very nice. The apartment was clean and the AC worked well and they gave us beach towels. The picture on the room was not from the balcony of the room. The room balcony had the view of another building. It was advertised at a caldera view. We had to go to the common terrace to see the volcano, I specifically booked this location for the cliff views and there were none from the room balcony. There also wasn't a bottle opener and the refrigerator wasnt working so we couldnt keep any drinks cold. There are alot of steps at the property and all around Santorini. You need to be in decent shape to make it back and forth to Fira without a car.

You can't beat the view you get from the property. It was truely a million dollar view of the water.

This place is simply amazing. We loved the location, the stuffs were very friendly. The cozy room we were given was very much clean and well maintained. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Staff was very good, friendly and helpful. Breakfast and patio also very good. Location was satisfactory albeit a distance to walk to center of Fira. Buses do not stop at Fiorstephani this time of year....passengers get on and are dropped off at bus stop in Fira.

The location is minutes away from Fira and all it's amenities including the main bus station of the island. As well as dozens of restaurants and hundreds of shops. The caldera view from the room was spectacular! The room and staff were great and the breakfast was delicious!

It could be excellent if wasn't for because wifi doesn't work. Other than that is wonderful view, clean.

Delightful view over the cauldron and Fira- Firostefanl Many steps down from road, not uncommon for Santorini. Just a tune-up for our many beautiful steep walks to towns and volcano! Fun!

Great location, but wouldn't go back

Let me start off with, the location is ideal. However, when you pay over $450 for a queen suite with a view, you have certain expectations. Several problems arose, but the worst was the rock-hard sheets (probably overly starched). When we asked about getting new ones, the reply was "they'd be the same". I was able to stand the sheet up 2 ft high because of the hardness (see pic). The personal balcony that was insinuated on the website turned out to be shared with another couple. Fun eating breakfast staring out the window at "your view" of the caldera and seeing two people sitting there blocking it. The walls were paper thin, no place to put your suitcase and the room had no Kleenex. Dennis at reception was nice and helpful at checkin, but with the price we paid, is ridiculous for the issues we had.

Probably the best view of Fira

Blue Dolphins was an excellent choice! We paid more to book the room with a private balcony and spa, but it was more than what we expected! The room we got was 'Kalliste' I think was how to pronounce it, but the view was amazing. Best advice I ever came across for Santorini was, "If you want to enjoy the view, don't pay extra to be a part of it, pay extra for the best room with the best view of it." After we arrived and were shown our room, it was clear that this was going to be a winner. The view from here was far superior to the view from the room we had in Oia. The in room shower was a cave-like space, which was pretty cool as well! Keep in mind, it's a bit of a walk into town, and feels like a long walk up the hill, but that's the cost of having an amazing view, so it's well worth it considering that's the main reason for visiting Santorini.

The manager “Dennis” and his staff were wonderful and went above and beyond to help us! Thank you for making this trip to Santorini memorable.

The apartment we had is not as spacious as we expected. The view is obstacled by the other restaurant. The manager at the reception was not very much accommodating. However, the overall experience is good. The hotel itself has a great location and some hotel rooms have a great view. The bottle wine in the room, somehow we were told was 24 euro, and then later was changed to complementary.

Wet Stay

This place was FREEZING. Very poor ventilation which made the room very wet and moldy feeling. View is amazing everything else was subpar. Choose another location if you are looking for comfort.

Dream location

Just amazing, a dream hotel in a dream location on a dream island

Issues with noise and light, but otherwise good.

Room was in good condition and was very clean (bathroom had a slightly odd smell). We had trouble falling asleep on both nights due to the bathroom window not having a shade cover such that bright light from a neighboring property entered the room (the room is semi-open plan so the shower is in the same room (but separated by a wall without a door)). There was some kind of grinding noise on the second night that continued for several hours - it appeared to come from the property, but we are not entirely sure. I'd potentially stay here again, although I'd be concerned about noise and light. Note that the room got a bit damp - this is probably due to low temperatures during winter season and the open plan design. It was not a major problem for us, and would not be an issue in summer. Service was friendly. Was also nice to receive a complimentary bottle of wine.

Very nice place to stay. Balcony was very nice but was obstructed by another restaurant. Still worth it though. Location is very good as it is at the top, near the main road so there are fewer stairs than most. Public parking is close also. Bathroom is huge, almost a bit too large. Complimentary wine, water and coffee was nice.

Fantastic property - highly recommended. - Romantic balcony was great - got what we paid for, no hidden charges or changes. - Great room with lots of space, free wine bottle, tea and coffee - Great property manager - gave us honest recommendations and never tried to sell a scam - Breakfast wasn't included but the property manager made it complimentary at the end! Only (minor) shortcoming was there was some renovation going on during our stay (which was in the offseason) and hence some noise in the room

The views were beautiful. The hotel has just been renovated, so the rooms were lovely. And, breakfast was delicious! It was served on the terrace, so we could enjoy the lovely view and relax. There was a cat hanging around, and we asked the staff if we could feed it. They said yes, so we enjoyed breakfast with the cat each day we were there, The staff was great - helped us make reservations to some excursions, and got us to and from the a import. It was a lovely stay!

The room and view were amazing

Perfect location sitting on high area looking down Firostefani, bay, and volcano. Nice hotel stuff and wonderful breakfast. 20 minutes walking on a beautiful coastal trail to Fira. Taking bus to Oia just not far from the hotel (Bus stop is 5 mintes from hotel). Cost 1.8 Euro one way for 15 mintes ride. Highly recommended to stay on this property while visiting Santorini.
