Had to change 2 rooms before settle in the 3rd one during our 2 nights stay. We've booked a deluxe room which was an upgrade from the standard ones on the "renovated" part of the hotel. We walked in to our first room and immediately run out because of the terrible septic smell! Without properly apologizing, front desk moved us to our second room. The room was outdated, the bed was so awful it would be better if we slept on the floor. The plumbing in the shower and bathroom sink weren't working at all, even during a very quick shower walk-in shower flooded. We had to complain once again after our first night in agony and they moved us to our third room on our second night. The accommodations weren't improved at all but at that point we just wanted pushed through the night and leave immediately in the morning. Will never stay there again!

The room smelt heavily of cigarette smoke, despite opting for a non-smoking room. I changed and in the new room I had no electricity in the morning as the bathroom light blew it. Not a good experience for a 3 night stay.

Great old hotel

A very traditional hotel with excellent staff. But unfortunately the bathroom was not up to par. The hotel shower would not drain water properly.

In need of some TLC

Considering it’s a business venue it is considerably unloved and in need of repair, carpets torn and uneven, lighting not replaced , closed facilities

The biggest problem with this hotel is that you cannot control the temperature of your own room. All AC systems are connected to one system. The rooms were way too hot, 26 Celsius through the night. They kept “trying to fix it”. Finally, someone admitted that the hotel was going to be remodeled in the next year. They should not be charging the rates they are charging when the hotel is tired, and in need of remodeling and being in the modern age. If you don’t need to be at the university, I would not recommend for you to stay here.

POOR BREAKFAST

Bilkent Hotel is in an amazing location, serene, quiet and calming. The staff is fantastic, every single person we interacted with was very kind and polite. We will definitely go back and visit again soon. We loved our stay here. Thank you.

Disappointing

This was a family trip and we entered with excitement but left very disappointed. We found the staff to be very transactional and tired, however the maintenance staff was friendly and helpful when our TV did not work. The internet was absolutely horrible. I called the front desk and they admitted it was a problem throughout the facility except for some hot spots. This was frustrating for a conference center hotel - basic webpages would load slowly. We did enjoy the outdoor poor which was very nice and well kept but closed at 4:30 in the afternoon. The breakfast was pretty standard but enjoyable - nice selection. Beds were nice and comfortable - rooms had plenty of dust in areas around the TV, windows, telephone etc.

Enjoyed my stay

This was maybe my fourth stay at this hotel. Bilkent has always been a place for distinguished people and Bilkent Hotel is no different. The staff is friendly, premises are clean and neat. Only this time I had a neighbor talking with loud noises until after midnight from the next room. But I won't blame the hotel for this obviously.

Good hotel, bad WiFi

Hotel and restaurant on the first floor are decent, hotel is alright, a bit remote and quiet as well. One unfortunate thing though, their WiFi is abysmal, so don't expect to stream or work when staying there. In the end just got a SIM with 4G data, because it was quite annoying.

Perfect place to stay for visiting Haceteppe University

very nice hotel and helpful, we enjoyed our stay, wished it had an iron. i loved the complimentary nuts they served us. it is out of the city in the suburb area. but there is a bus takes you from the front door to the subway and back. not many things are around which makes it isolated. if you want to go back and forth to the city i think it would be difficult and you need a car. the pool is nice and clean.

Peaceful place , its the best place to get away from daily routines and be away.

"Really clean!!" Stopped here after bad experience with one hotel in Ankara.. The hotel smells fresh and clean. The room was spotless and fresh.. The staff at the front desk was very friendly, helpful and professional.

Overall it's OK but the pungent smoke smell inside the non-smoking area of the restaurant needs to be rectified.

Not easy to access the center of city. But very calm and good view. I will stay there once again in next time.

Ok

We stayed 3 people in Deluxe room and they did put just one pair of slippers, one dental kit, one shaving set, one little shower gel, shampoo and so on. Had to remind to add these things. Also required baby bed and when we came in it wasnt there yet, again had to remind about it. Other than that deluxe room is perfect, much much better and bigger than their suite.

Good hotel in remote area.

Superhotel with good food. Too bad it is far from everywhere and that the gym is in a basement without windows/air. Superpool!

Visited my daughter and her new family for eight nights. Great pool and spa! Restaurant was good too. Room service is 24 hr.

Good for business stay

Stayed for business 4 nights. The hotel is clean with good service. The only negative was the wifi not working in my room. It was functioning in the area closer to the front desk. Great breakfast and dinner options.

Nice Business Hotel

A very quite location. No need to struggle with traffic to reach the hotel. Easy access to the freeway to reach the industrial zones around the city. Also close to some shopping malls. Excellent breakfast. There is a North Shields in the hotel to have some beer and watch games. (The menu of this NS is limited and the prices are higher than usual NS restaurants.)

It is a nice hotel, located in an area which now is still silent. The access is not very simple. I felt relaxed. Since my departure plane was early in the morning I could not have breakfast in the Hotel, but a lunch box. I was disappointed because I waited more than 15 minute for bringing the box that had 3 identical sandwiches. The Hotel has a nice location, but there is no shop around.

Perfect hotel!

Comfortable hotel in a nice neighborhood

We stayed 1 night at the hotel with our 1-year-old daughter. They provided us a baby bed which was useful. The big swimming pool was clean but the small one for kids was not cleaned....The breakfast was fresh and many choices. The wifi was bit problem as we had to get a password everytime it got disconnected. (It seems this problem in for foreign national?) Overall the hotel was good and comfortable.

Stuff refused the rate I had from from hotels.com. Then when I decided to walk away after one night of stay they agreed to the rates. This is just unbelievable. I have never seen this level of customer this orientation in a five-star hotel. By the way the hotel is so old and never was trenovated. Air-conditioning doesn't work.

A no-nonsense business hotel

A no-nonsense business hotel. Modern rooms in good and clean condition. Rooms are good size compared to many European Hotels. Excellent breakfast. So what gives? The hotel is near Bilkent University and 15 minute drive from city center. Need a taxi to reach anywhere. The shopping center nearby is around 20 minute walk Other than that great hotel.

Bilkent for business

Always a pleasant stay at the Bilkent, service never an issue & the teams in bar, restaurant & on reception are always happy to help.

Nice hotel but far from downtown Ankara.

Nice clean hotel but far from downtown Ankara. Close to Bilkent university and ideal for conferences. Close to shopping centre. Not walking distance though. Hotel is clean. Breakfast options not that great. Staff may not speak English. Overall good stay for the purpose we xhose the hotel: conference close by.

Location is perfect for METU and Bilkent University. Because of campus, environment is green. Breakfast is also good.

reasonable but not a high class

Roof studios a a good option for single travelers and maybe for couples. Room amenities is acceptable. Breakfast option is good because there is no restaurants around. Tea and coffee is complimentary. Free parking is available but it may be a problem on weddings and meetings.

Nice hotel. Bed was a little uncomfortable. But good for it's cost. Breakfast is good.

A little out of the way for tourists

Stayed 4 nights at Bilkent during a business trip. The hotel was quite far from all the tourist places. The nearest mall is about 20 minutes brisk walk away, where there are restaurants, a supermarket and some retail shops. The room was clean, spacious & comfortable. The buffet breakfast spread was quite good. There's a spa which I didn't use because it seemed rather pricey. The's a restaurant and a pub that serves dinner. Not recommended if you're in Ankara for holiday, but could be convenient if you have business in the area.

Nice pool but pricy and a bit isolated

Generally a very nice hotel. The real highlight is the pool. The rooms, the service and the restaurants are not bad but nothing to write home about. The hotel is also pretty isolated so there is not much around.

Fantastic hotel located next to the university. Clean and modern rooms with friendly staff. All amenities offered and a great spa available. Well recommended!

Very far away from city

Hotel is ok but definitely does not deserve this price as it is very far from city center and in the middle of nowhere. Room was ok and spacious but a/c panel was broken and working very loud.

Excellent hotel but can hear people in other rooms

I stayed one night at Bilkent Hotel because I was spending a day visiting Bilkent University. The room was small but incredibly nice; it included all necessary amenities. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Outlets were available on the desk for plugging in a laptop and charging my cell phone. I also liked the light that turned on around the TV. The location close to Bilkent University was exactly what I needed. The staff was helpful in getting me a taxi between the hotel and the University. My one complaint was that I could hear someone in the next room on a business call. Fortunately, he didn't work late, so he stopped talking before I went to sleep. Despite that, I would definitely stay again if I visited the University.

Great value

I have stayed ay this hotel on several occassions and it has always offered great value. The rooms are well equipped and the puc within the hotel is comfortable, offers a reasonable food menu and is inexpensive - 30% discount is offered to hotel residents. The health spa is great and the gymn is ok.

Hotel with a standards. Definitely worth the value. Of beat area therefore quite sleep. Quality of the amenities and product up par. Nothing less then they advertise. It is not ritz Carlton or four seasons but definitely on same or better category as hiltons and sheratons.

I was there mainly to accompany my child to Bilkent Uni. The hotel is close but not within walking distance to the university. The hotel is out of the way for easy access with metro or bus. Wished the hotel could provide shuttle service to the nearest metro station or shopping center. Otherwise our stay was pleasant and breakfast was satisfactory. For sightseeing around Ankara, I would chose another hotel downtown. Was disappointed that the hotel staff could not help me with my travel enquiry out of town to places like Cappadocia or Pamukkale.

wonderful service and awesome pool.

We enjoyed our stay at the Bilkent Hotel. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help. The rooms were very spacious and well kept. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we had in turkey. The pool also was very nice and had a small playground for our youngest child. I would happily recommend this hotel to my friends, especially those with children given the sad lack of family-friendly hotels in Ankara.

Ok in general terms, but 5 Stars?

The floor of the room was covered with laminate. This and the sober (and not very practical) furnishings did not create a cozy atmosphere. It was more like a room for a decent 4-star business hotel. The bathroom was clean and large but had structural defects: the paint on the ceiling in the shower was peeling off and the door frames were swelling from below and the paint was also peeling off, which suggests that the cleaning was too wet and possibly that too harsh cleaning agents were used. The breakfast was excellent.

On a budget

Generally a good and on a budget hotel but rooms must be cleaned better, lot of dust over the desk and where TV is placed. Breakfast is good but I've never been in the resturant i I can't review it. Very nice wellness area wit sauna, massages and pool. The gym is ok but there was 2 machine out of service, can be improved.

2018 yılından beri Ankara 'ya geldiğimde kaldığım Otel. Ancak odalarda kullanılan halılar hiç değiştirilmemiş.kirli ve tozlu. Otelin lokasyonu ve Çalışanların ilgi ve güleryüzlü davranışları nedeni ile tercih ediyorum.

Odalar çok eski ve kokuyor kalınamayacak derecede. Ayrıca banyodan sürekli su çıkıyor üstelik kullanmadan. Ayrıca valizimi 1,5 saat odama göndermediler. Hiç memnun kalmadım

Memnun olmadığım hiçbirşey yok. Oda servisi ve Akdeniz restoranı da mükemmeldi. Odanın temizliği düzeni, resepsiyon herşey çok iyiydi. Sadece tek eleştirim eski bir otel olmasından olsa gerek klimadan gece boyunca garip sesler geliyordu, sürekli oda kapısının açılmaya çalışıldığı gibi bir ses vardı. Bir de housekeeping 1 kez çalıp hemen giriyor, toparlanma vakti verilmeli. Yine de herşey için teşekkürler özellikle resepsiyondaki arkadaşlara🌸

Ankara’da kalınabilecek güzel otellerden biri kesinlikle. Otelin konumu şehir dışındaymış hissi verip ama şehir merkezine ulaşımı kolay ve yakın. Otel çalışanları ilgili ve kibarlar.

Çalışanlar guler yüzlü ve yardımsever. Havuzu kullanacaksanız gitmeden havuz başı düğün olup olmadığını kontrol ettirmenizi tavsiye ederim. Havuz başı düğün olan günlerde havuz 16.30 da kapanıyor. Ve gece 12.00 ye kadar gurültü problemi oluyor. Spa hizmetleri çok iyi ve kahvaltıları çok başarılı.

Mükemmel hizmet

Malesef sigara içilmeyen oda yoktu. Odanın için çok eski ve kül tablası gibi kokuyordu. Çözüm olarak oda parfümü yolladılar. Otel bakımsız 1980 lerden kalma gibi. Klima kontrol aleti kırıktı, klima çok sesi çalışıyordu.

Odalar havlular ve çarşaflar hem eski yıpranmış üstelik saç ve vücut kılı doluydu

Çatı katı bir odada konakladım. Temizlik, oda servisi, oda sıcaklığı, çalışanların ilgisi 10/10 şeklindeydi. Teşekkür ederim.

Şehir dışında huzurlu Ankara'da artık kalmak istediğimiz tek yer , personel de çok ilgiliydi teşekkür ederiz

Bilkent deneyimi

Otelin temizlik ve hijyeni çok çok iyiydi. Çalışanların yaklaşımı ve hizmeti çok iyi yalnız covid nedeni ile alınan tedbirler nedeniyle kahvaltı açık büfe değil. Sunulan fix tabak yetersiz ve isteğe göre hazırlanan omlet veya sahanda yumurtalar yenmez ölçüde başarısız. Kahvaltı olumsuzluğuna rağmen 2 hafta sonra yine Ankara'da konaklamak zorundayım ve yine bu oteli tercih edeceğim.
