Great stay

My stay was great, comfortable, safe, and the beds and pillows were perfect. I appreciated the king suite with the hot plate for preparing meals during my extended stay. The staff was friendly, and the gentleman at the front desk was very understanding. I highly recommend this hotel.

There should be notification about the $500.00 damage deposit on every reserved bookings

Cleanl, quiet, safe are of utmost importance which I have experienced. I wish I was informed at the time of booking that a $500 damage deposit would be collected. That came as a shock but was able to provide it. Just was a jaw-dropping surprise.

Best place in town

2nd time staying here for work, and I have nothing to complain. The staff are friendly, and the breakfasts are delicious!

Everything was good but for sure they don’t clean everything forgot my clothes in the drawer and a guest was in the room didn’t get my belongings till 3days later and never got my damage deposit back $500 and no damages so it was $900 a night for a room I paid

I feel like i was scammed. I made a booking for September 21 to 22, 2024, however it was the wrong date. I was charged on my credit card for $205 and an additional $192. I spoke to a person about my situation on a chat (Alaa). I was to be at the hotel for the 22 - 23, 2024. Alaa made the arrangements for the change and also ensured that the amount of $205 was charges for the Sept 22, instead of Sept. 21. I would also be refunded the $192 upon arrival and check in on Sept 22, 2024. When I arrived there was no booking and am now charged an additional amount $244 and the two other charges are still on my credit card. I do have the conversation saved indicating the changes and also the receipt of Sept 21, 2024 stating that I was to pay the amount upon arrival. I did not request to pay while completing the information online. I have never had any problems with Expedia before. I am very upset and will be contacting my bank to indicate fraudulent activity from expedia tomorrow. This is totally uncalled for. Please contact me to rectify this situation.

Always an awesome stay

In all honesty, there were a lot of drunk people walking around town! I mean really wobbly people. We arrived at 8:00 pm to check in. Maybe there was a festival or something, I don't know, but those locals were having a good time, and perhaps too much of a good time. Having said all that, the hotel was perfectly clean, the check in was easy and professional, the breakfast had everything you'd expect and was excellent.

The rooms are very clean. The building is quiet. Building surroundings are clean. Felt safe walking to my vehicle. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast is adequate.

My first time staying at BW Thompson, Check in clerk was friendly n courteous smooth check in process … got to room n I was impressed how clean and spacious it was ..although only overnight I had a very good sleep beds were comfortable, atmosphere was nice n quiet, my Grandaughter said the same thing ..enjoyed our overnight stay

Disappointed

Took 10 long minutes to get me checked in. Then the room key didn't work; had to go back down and get another. Then the internet password didn't work; had to go get it reset. Shower was warm, but not hot. And our room had a super-noisy HVAC fan right outside the door. Breakfast wasn't very good. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable, everything seemed clean.

Couch bed was a bit uncomfortable. Some noise after 11 pm and before 5 am that disrupted my sleep

The hotel was awesome n location was great. Didn’t like to have the house cleaning to be asked to come to the room to clean. Even left the room for awhile n still wasn’t clean

IT WAS NEW AND CLEAN!

I booked a room on expedia when i got to best Western at a 11 30pm i was told there wasnt any clean rooms and no rooms in town so i had a fun drive home slept on the side was all right.

I usually stay at a lesser prices stay in Thompson and your Best Western was clearly an up grade along with a higher price BUT was annoying persons walking and walking in hallway and floor hollow tump thump thump thump other then that all good

Me and my family liked everything about the best Western hotel, the name says it all it's the best hotel in town it's super clean and friendly staff all the time. There is nothing we dislike about the hotel. Thank you best Western.

$500 dollar damage deposit is extremely high and crazy! Would never recommend anyone to stay here because of this! Plus the fact they check my room to see if there were damages done and didn’t check other people!!😡😡

It is a common Best Western Standard, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the hotel does not provide bottled water, and the TV cable did work until late afternoon. Missed the breakfast and no alternative provided.

Very polite staff helpful cleaning staff cleaned our room even with covid room was sterilized very clean.The breakfast in a bag the bacon bun I would not recommend to anyone but it is very hard to do a breakfast in a bag that tastes good even after microwave it.Other wise everything was very good.

I rented a room through Expedia as I was going to be travelling from Gillam to Thompson to get some auto repair and COVID-19 vaccine.. they rejected my reservation stating “it’s non essential” when I tried to explain that I’m a nurse who is essential, and the vaccine will help me as a very essential frontline worker, they would not budge... we ended up staying at Days Inn, where we were treated like gold, had wonderful and friendly service!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

The room was dirty and the sheets were stained. Add to that the fact i had items stolen out of the room and it's safe to say we will not be returning ever.

Our room is clean Check-in staff is helpful, keeps opening the front door for me.(front door is locked with access through door card to keep visitors from entering，and the staff recognizes me and keeps ooen the front door for me when I need to move stuff from our vehicle) Breakfast is okay, not buffet style but taste fine, coffee is not so good, but not a deal breaker. Washroom is clean and water is hot enough. Checkout process is straight forward.

The hotel was nice and the location was good. We were disappointed there wasn't a bath tub in the bathroom.

No continental breakfast because of Covid. Thought that the daily rate should have been a little lower. Otherwise, a great stay.

The hotel offer a one free night stay if you spend two night and just wondering why is not offered to guest if the booked online.

They missed cleaning my room. I hung a privacy sign earlier but we left at 11:00 am and took it off. Also mentioned it to the staff upon leaving for the day. Got back at 4:00 and the room hadn’t been touched. When I went to the front they simply said, they were sorry but the maid service was gone for the day. No offer of towels, or to clean. Had to ask for those. I won’t stay again, but if this doesn’t matter to you the rest was fine.

Clean hotel, spacious rooms, good breakfast, good service overall.

Loved the complimentary breakfast & snacks for supper. The sauna & fitness room are a great touch. Our room didn’t have a bath tub which wasn’t ideal having kids. Everything else was great the price was a bit much though.
