Room was clean, larger than expected and quiet. The staff is terrific! Kind and accommodating. The breakfast was also perfect as there were options for everyone. I would certainly recommendn and look forward to staying again.

The staff were very friendly. And seem happy to help. The room I stayed in seemed to be very nice, clean and fresh.

Excellent hotel

The hotel was excellent. Location poor for usas we travelled by train and wantked to visit the old city. But the hotel staff arranged taxis for us.

Hotel is new, breakfast is great and the bed is comfortable. The position is not at best as area but convenient for parking.

Useless room design but great breakfast

have not breakfast and we have to pay!The family room was big but with NO FUNCTION DESIGN! Toilet has just a glass wall and all smell you have in room. The shower is part of your living room and the water is running out of the shower cabin because the sink is full of maybe hairs..In the shower there is no where to put the towel! Floor was dirty. Wall needs to be paint. Bedside tables was useless on the floor! The wardrobe is difficult to find as it appears as a wall. There was a great breakfast with plenty of various cakes and one plate with a fresh cheese and tomato....No Italians will appreciate it.

Lovely hotel with excellent facilities, very sweet staff and an exceptional breakfast. Hotel is very close (walkable - 15 minutes) to Chieti Scalo rail station if you are not driving - if you are driving parking is free outside the hotel. Having stayed a few times previously - on this occasion the only reason I have not awarded the room five stars for comfort is that the bed was the ‘hardest” mattress I have ever ever slept on - don’t recall the beds being as uncomfortable as this. I really don’t mind a firm mattress but this is a bit like lying on a concrete floor. I would really urge Best Western to look at alternatives mattress options. However I love this hotel and would still return. It’s not in the most upmarket of areas but it’s still lovely. There is also an Ikea very nearby for a bit of familiarity and the vast Megalo shopping mall is walkable in 20 minutes. For information the Avis/Budget car hire agency nearby are simply the most trustworthy car rental I have come across in Italy. If you are coming to Chieti from Rome there are buses almost every hour from Rome and back - much quicker than the train and cheaper.

Great base for touring the area

Very good hotel and staff. A little out of the main part of the town, but that was ok as we were using it as a base for touring the area. Restaurant next door very family focussed so definitely not good for a quiet meal!

The hotel has many good features - the staff are great, pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is wonderful. The room is basically OK but the toilet is in a glass box with a sliding door. I know I am an old bloke but slightly more privacy is better - solid walls and a properly closing door would be much better...

Minimalist

The location was ideal for the commercial area but there only breakfast facilities in the hotel. The restaurant next door was fine for a pizza or pasta only . The room was cold with a minimalist design. Shower in the middle of the room ! Nowhere to hang towel, no milk to make tea or coffee. Oils to find an English station on the tv except CNN. Breakfast choice continental unless you like scrambled eggs. Cost 25 euros to get taxi from the airport. Would recommend staying in Pescara.

Fantastic hotel

The staff were very friendly and warm, the waiting staff at breakfast were so kind, it was the best range of food for breakfast I've had in a foreign hotel. I highly rate this hotel and would recommend it to anyone

Can't go wrong with this hotel

Good hotel with friendly staff The Breakfast is way above what you would expect - top quality. Good WIFi Restaurant next door is really good. You can walk to the station and the university/ hospital Nice rooms with bottle of water and tea/coffee tray. If I return to Cheiti I will choose this place again for sure

The hotel was nice, but the hotel staff didn't speak much English. It was hard getting across to them what we wanted.

Best Western Chieti

Everyone at this hotel is service oriented, helpful, and they make you feel at home. I stay here about twice a year and this is consistent from my first first to this most resent visit. Fantastic breakfast included in the low price makes this my go-to location.

Great hotel in so-so neighborhood

Chieti was a convenient halfway stop for us between Puglia and Rome. Great hotel in so-so industrial neighborhood. The old town on top of the hill is definitely the place to go for sightseeing and dinner. Great buffet breakfast and helpful staff!

Better then expected

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. I had expected a typical Best Western type hotel similar to what I am fimilar with in the states. What I found was a friendly staff, comtempory rooms, and an abundant breakfast buffet. Other then the fact that the town was a little remote which had nothing to do with the hotel, the rooms made our stay more enjoyable.

In our Room 301, the Safe is to close to the Door and the brown structure On the left Wall is a misconstruction, as One Hits the Head regularly when picklig up Things from the side Board. A Special compliment to all your Staff, very friendly, always helpful with a smile On their faces.

Wonderfuk hotel tucked away in Pescara. We stayed while visiting family and found it conveniently close to beach and shopping as well. Staff was SUPER friendly and treated us like family. Rooms were of modern decor and ultra spacious. Largest shower ive seen in all of Italy. Would definately stay again!,

Great staff

Hotel a little too far from town. However, the taxi service (Rita), was excellent. I was very comfortable but my wife found the mattress too hard. Breakfast was superb. The staff were very friendly and more than helpful, I cannot praise them enough.

An excellent hotel- in every way. Room was lovely, hotel staff were great- breakfast was the best we had in any of the many hotels we stayed in. Only problem for us was the location- we searched for Hotels in Chieti- this one was a long way out of the town- way too far to walk. Nevertheless an excellent hotel.

Lovely stay

We stayed 3 nights in this nice modern hotel. Very friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable room. Cant say any negatives really, except the location, but for the price we paid I really cant complain.

one of my favorites

I am traveling through Italy for 35 days visitings cousins I have not seen the 37 years. This is my half way point and a place to visit and rest after miles of walking and sight seeing. At first I was not sure about staying at a best western but this hotel has to be a gem in the chain. Ultra modern, the breakfast was very good in 17 days it was the best breakfast offering out of six hotels so far. I plan to stay here again on my next visit in about a year. One the staff gave me a very good tip on a site to see in Naples. Very nice staff and very helpfull

Best Western Parco Paglia Hotel, Chieti, Italy

The staff on our arrival and during our 2 day stay were very welcoming and friendly and went out of their way to help. The hotel is ultra modern and the unusual rooms with glass shower in the bedroom was very different but interesting design. Beds were very very firm which was a little uncomfortable but other than that we couldnt fault it. Plus an amazing and varied selection of allsorts for breakfast. Would definitely stay again and have no hesitation in recommending.

Nice hotel

Accommodations excellent. meals also very good. only one BIG complaint---- the location. WE DROVE PAST THE HOTEL 3 TIMES. THE SIGN IS ON THE SIDE OF THE BUILDING UP HIGH AND THERE IS A SECURITY GATE AROUND THE PERIMETER AND IT IS NEXT TO A BUILDING PROJECT. IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE LIKE A HOTEL'S EXTERIOR. At night there are flashing/glowing lights and it is easier to see. Otherwise we were very pleased--and stayed a 2nd night we hadn't planned. Wonderful staff.

Struttura non proprio 4 stelle, tappeto ingresso principale sporco, sedie in plastica esterne ingresso cotte dal sole. Camera con vetri della finestra sporchi, doccia con mosaico a terra danneggiato e comando apertura acqua doccia danneggiato, scopino wc con supporto a muro rotto e poggiato a terra, materasso scomodo (troppo rigido per i miei gusti). Colazione non di qualità e zona frutta e torte piena di moscerini. Ottimo il servizio accoglienza alla reception (cordialità e professionalità dei dipendenti), ottimi i cappuccini (fatti al momento), cordialità in sala colazione (se si può chiamare tale… tavoli apparecchiati in prossimità della Hall e non separati in una sala dedicata, bancone bar/colazione vicinissimo al bancone reception. Fantastico il personale, da rivedere tutto il resto. Il 9.2 come voto su Booking e Hotels pare regalato, o dato da clienti che usufruiscono di strutture alberghiere sporadicamente e quindi l’entusiasmo del niente. Mi spiace molto, viaggio parecchio durante l’anno, e durante gli anni, questa è la mia prima recensione che è sotto la sufficienza. Accettate non una critica, ma un’analisi da un cliente. Se migliora, ritorno volentieri.

Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind sehr gut. Die Lage ist in einem Industriegebiet. Das Stadtzentrum ist in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. In Pescara ist man, bei guten Verkehrsbedingungen, 1n 20min und kann fas Strandleben an der Adria genießen.

Gita in Abruzzo

Una notte per una gita con amici nell’entroterra abruzzese. A parte la vista dalla finestra che da su un’area industriale molto brutta, ma con le montagne sullo sfondo, per il resto camera spaziosa e pulita (solo il letto matrimoniale piuttosto piccolo). Il personale molto gentile e disponibile, ascensore, posto auto vicinissimo all’entrata. Insomma una location molto comoda per muoversi e come punto di appoggio. Da tenere ancora in considerazione. Prezzo adeguato alla struttura direi.

Abbiano soggiornato solo una notte di ritorno dalle ferie come tappa intermedia. L'hotel è bello, pulito, le stanze sono comode. Abbiamo cenato fuori hotel. La colazione molto valida e con buona scelta, il personale è stato cordiale e rapido.

Esperienza positiva. Camera ampia e pulita, non sono un amante del bagno con doccia visibile in camera ma tutto funzionale e ben organizzato. Soprattutto letto comodo, oscuranti ottimi e aria condizionata silenziosa. Un po’ poco insonorizzate le pareti ma non abbiamo avuto vicino rumorosi. Aree comuni ampie e ben organizzate. Personale disponibile e professionale

Estrema disponibilità e cortesia del personale a gestire le richieste dei clienti. La struttura è collocata in una zona non propriamente amena, ma collegata in maniera eccellente alle principali vie di comunicazione.

Perfekte Ausgangsbasis

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Zimmer im 6.Stock, mit Blick auf die Berge und die dort untergehende Sonne. Ja, es ist ein Geschäftshotel in einem Industriegebiet und dennoch war es für uns vier Tage allerbeste Ausgangsbasis für die Erkundung der Gegend und ein paar erholsame Stunden am Strand von Montesilvano. Dieser ist mit dem Auto über die Schnellstraße in 20 Minuten zu erreichen. Das komplette Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, sowohl an der Rezeption, als auch beim Frühstück und dem Zimmerservice. Das Zimmer war modern und groß mit gut funktionierender Klimaanlage. Das Frühstück ist wunderbar (riesige Kuchenauswahl, aber auch Mortadella, Salami, Prosciutto und Käse) und es wird frisch gemachter Cafe, Capuccino oder Ciocolata serviert. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen.

Ottimo hotel

Abbiamo soggiornato solo una notte per spezzare un viaggio. Ci siamo trovati veramente bene: comodo perché vicino autostrada, personale gentilissimo, camera ampia e pulita, letti comodi, molto silenziosa e con una bella doccia. Colazione che si paga a parte molto economica con vasta scelta di dolce e salato. Vicinissimo all’hotel ci sono diversi ristoranti.
