Great place to stay near downtown

The room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The area was quiet with the birds singing in the morning. It was a quick and easy walk to the downtown area and nearby grocery stores. We really enjoyed our stay and will return.

Nice stay yet again Wifi was very weak, i ended up not using it as it was way to slow.

Hotel was very comfortable! I stayed for 10 days. What I liked the most was that every button, switch, knob, door and appliance, etc. in the room worked well and was clean.

Bella vista - our second time staying here. Clean, comfortable, amazing towels, lovely staff, and good location (walking distance to town). One thing to be aware of, if a consideration for you - the room we were in did not have a smart tv, and very limited channels. Otherwise cannot fault this accom.

Always our first choice when staying in Queenstown. Easy parking then short flat walk into town. Nice quiet part of town. Rooms are always clean and well equipped.

The location and cleanliness of the accommodation was great. We didn't spend much time in our room as there's so much to do outside, but when we come back at night to watch some TV, we noticed the reception was poor and there were no sky channels, so limited options on the TV.

had everything i needed

It's a confusing place. I picked up the details on my room (#14) which they said was on the front of the hotel. I usually think of the front as the STREET side, but it was the side to the left if you faced it on the street. It also said it was the FIRST floor, which I consider to be the ground floor. They could have just said UPPER floor, and say the "left" side or "right" side of the building. But I got it figured out, after accidentally walking in on the back-door of the office. It's one of those places with a sliding door for an entrance. And you need the key in to turn on anything to charge my electronics. So I could not just leave my computer for charging, and had to balance between that and my cell and Go-Pro. Didn't have an inviting feeling but it was fine.

Nice clean property and great location and easy to walk into town with Fresh Choice just a 2 minute walk. Quiet. Only annoyance was no sink to wash dishes. This had to be done in the bathroom wash basin which is not ideal.

This isn’t a flashy place to stay, but it’s really good value compared to most places so close to town. It has everything you need from a safe, heater, fan, and blow dryer. The bed was big and very comfortable. We really liked the fact that if you didn’t want to bother with anyone servicing your room, there was a room guests can access to restock their own room with towels, toilet paper and tissues. You could just take your used towels to that room and replenish your own room. The best thing about this place is the location. We wanted to be easy walking distance into the city and this took us just 5 minutes to reach town. It’s close enough to walk to restaurants and bars, but far enough away that it was really quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved the location and the easy walk to the town centre meant we didn’t have to worry about the chaos of Queenstown parking. Only problem, I think it’s time the bed was replaced/updated. It sagged and was terribly uncomfortable so I didn’t get much sleep and ended up with awful back pain.

I was disappointed not to be greeted, when arriving at the motel. Keys and instructions were on the counter. Parking was tight, kitchen tap leaked and light over the bed didn't go. Room was warm + comfy apart from that

We were given a upgrade to a larger room and King size bed on arrival. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. The room was brilliant with microwave and sink , plenty of room . Close to the inner Queenstown city centre , a quiet area and supermarket a short walk away.

The motel was comfortable, had a great shower and everything was clean with good bed and linen. I didn’t see any one at check in or out .

Comfortable stay for a reasonable price

My husband and I recently had a comfortable overnight stay at this motel. We particularly liked how easy it was to walk into Queenstown city centre and to attractions like the gondola. The check in and check out process was very easy.

We stayed at Bella Vista for one night either side of a Fiordland trip. The motel is in a very convenient location within a few minutes walk into town. It is clean and comfortable.

Only one three pin plug on bench, had to place electric jug on container to reach, toaster was used on floor as the nearest plug. Didn't t meet any staff only cleaners as we left. Had charge on card which was a credit card, money was out of my account just after arrival. Good location to walk to town.
