Great location, will stay here every time I return

A very well located property. Quite dated though. Needed a broom in the room as sand was easily transferred into the rooms and no way of sweeping it up.

A perfect place to stay longer

Pros: The location is the best part of this place, across the street from the beach and walking distance to the restaurants. The room was very simple but comfy enough and clean. Staff was very friendly. Con: Booked through Expedia because it is advertised there that there's a pool on the property (there's even a photo of the said pool). I chose this property mainly for that reason, since we have a young child that obviously loves a pool. But there's no pool and the hotel refused to give any refund due to FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Expedia was helpful and at least provided a few point for compensation. Wifi wasn't working

Great location, the check in service was fantastic.

I was disappointed the TV didn’t work in the room and there were no staff around or answering the phone. Not really acceptable for a room costing so much.

Manager was amazing fixing up a booking error, room was clean only let down was how bright the lights where coming from out side and making it hard to sleep. Overall was a nice place to stay

Economical accommodations and a great location!

We had a brief one-night stay on our way up the coast. Excellent location in town. Nice to fix morning coffee and walk across the street to stroll the wonderful beach. Front staff mate was excellent (Davie?). Very quiet location and convenient to everything we needed!

Basic motel, old room with a bit of a smell. Well located.

It was all in all a positive stay the room was a little dated especially the shower could use some renovations .

Staff was lovely, letting us check in early (1pm). The room was adequate. Have had to get some extra stuff as it wasn’t facilitated for 3 guests to begin with. We’ve left feedback for the staff, won’t get into it as they know what they can improve on.

Staff were very accomodating and were able to have our room ready early! Very convenient location and super clean room.

The location was amazing. The beach at our front door and cafes, bars and shops at the back. Could walk everywhere. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The location was excellent. The room set out was just what we wanted for 5 Adults. We only had one minor problem was the AC wasn't working but it was one of those things that can be fixed.

This property was really great and matched the pictures in online advertising. Very clean and fresh, very comfortable beds and had everything we needed. Very central for food and shopping and directly across the road to the beach. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends.

This is a great place to stay if your holiday is all about the beach, shopping and eating great food. The rooms were very clean, tidy and comfortable. The staff were very accomodating, friendly and available. Better than some of the much more costly accomodation nearby. We'll definitely be back.

I would like to write a fair review. The motel is nice and clean. Staff are lovely and location is wonderful. BUT it is super noisy. There is no way you can get a decent sleep there. Read google reviews. I'm surprised no one mentioned it here. Because the motel is located close to the beach which is a very popular part of town, you can imagine how noisy would that place be. If you are a light sleeper like me and you need to book somewhere to rest and relax, I don't recommend this place. If you have no problem with noise then go ahead and enjoy it

Weather was superb and the location of the motel was great. Everything we wanted to do and see was close by and easy to locate. People running the motel were friendly even the cleaners.

Byron Bay classic

He accommodation is very well positioned and close to the middle of town and across the road from the beach. The exterior looks dated but the room was recently renovated very clean and a good size. It was also the cheapest available. The only down side is the carpark. We had a large Ute and it was a very snug fit and a challenge to get out. It was resolved quickly and easily but just be aware.

Best simple location and value in Byron

Yep, the location would have to be the best in Byron outside the $500 a night resorts. Bang on the beach. 50m to the water, the pub, great restaurants, and everything. Clean comfortable rooms with just enough amenities, the friendliest staff, nothing is too much, they treat you like royalty, Ok its a motel but for the price its brilliant, and free onsite parking in the heart of Byron, thats gold by itself. Only problem is the noisy nightly and early morning bin emptying, glass smashing, garbage truck noise that invades every space at any hour, but nothing the venue can do about that so take it on the chin. Stay here. Its the best spot with great service in a good room at a good price

The hosts were so lovely & accomodating, welcoming us with friendly faces. We were able to check in a little early which was appreciated when travelling with a toddler. Any questions we had were answered immediately. Amazing location & would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great stay right opposite the ocean and in the middle of Byrons hustle and bustle.. it doesn’t get much better. Would highly recommend staying here!

The lady on the desk was just delightful. She was so helpful and understanding that I was running late because of traffic on the M1. The room was immaculate and they provided me with a lovely firm mattress and a downstairs room because I have a bad back. There is also a microwave, toaster and kettle. The motel is minutes from the Main Street which is so confident and The 24 hour SPAR ( grocery shop) to there to buy essentials etc. The only problem though small considering the motel was so nice is that it was very noisey with people coming home late at night. I suggest just taking ear plugs and then the motel would get a 10/10 as everything else was perfect..

Can’t get a better location, directly across from the beach. Rooms clean and comfortable. All staff very friendly and helpful. Only downside is some early morning noise from the deliveries / garbage removal trucks from the hotel / bar a few doors down but that goes with being in such a central location

Excellent location, walking distance close to shop's & beach & restaurant, wound stay again. No sink to wash dishes & mug's.

Super friendly and helpful staff, excellent location and large rooms. Dated decor but but that can't be a priority if you are booking this property.

We booked this late as we extended our stay in Byron. After staying in Elements first but unable to extend this was always going to be interesting given it was one of the only places left in Byron and now we know why!! The owners live in the motel and are very nice, genuine and accomodating and the location is extremely good as it right opposite the park on the beach but that is about it on the positive side. All the motel rooms face the carpark and back on to the incredibly loud and busy bay lane. What ruined our stay is the huge extractor fan directly across from our door which screams a horrible loud droning and rattling noise from first thing in the morning to 10:30pm every night. This is completely unacceptable for any accomodation. After seeing the sea view room available we asked to pay to upgrade as it was not facing the extractor fan but were told because we booked with expedia we couldnt transfer and that they only accepted cash for that room. Also completely unacceptable behaviour. The rooms are incredibly dated and old and the bathrooms havent been touched for decades with the rusty shower, wafer thin old sheets, and the stained toilet seat as highlights. I have been to 62 countries and have stayed in hundreds of hotels and this one is up there as one of the worst. I would never stay here again.

Although location is well situated in town centre and opposite beach, it was very noisey - especially the garbage trucks working very loudly prior to 6:30am each morning during our stay.

This property had great value for your dollar. Location was awesome directly across from the beach. Walking distance to Main Street. Very Friendly staff. Laundry facilities. They have beach towels for your use. Milk/coffee/tea in room. We stayed here 2 nights. We loved Byron Bay. Definitely recommend a three night stay in Byron. Definitely eat at Balcony Bar. Go for some live music at the Green Room

Property was great. No issues with staff or amenities. Very clean. Proximity to town centre and beach is very good. Only downside is that the Motel is located next to the main town pub which means late at night you can hear the douf douf and people coming back from the pub. This would not happen every night. I only noticed it on Friday and not Saturday night.

Fantastic location - close to the main beach and center of town. Hotel is old but well kept for what it is. Essential service provided. Have to remember - it's not a 5 star. It is good for what it is.

Very close to everything (walking distance). Was a bit noisy between the pub and the early morning rubbish pick ups. Why do motels/serviced appt only ever give you exactly the right amount of plates and cutlery? Frustrating when you need one more of something. Really lovely people though.

Great location at the top of the main road and a short walk across the road to the beach. (No beach view) Type of room to get up and explore Byron rather than stay in and relax. Check in & out was fast. Free parking was great as everything is walking distance.

Cleaner didn't clean our room, even though we had the sign on the door. No instruction for early check-out (I hope we left the key in the right place). No sink in kitchen, had to use bathroom toilet to dispose of extra food and sink to wash dishes, so that was pretty gross.Mismatched towels, mildew in shower, blood stains on sheets, no safe or real way to lock the windows, toilet handle broken, no bug screens on windows.I expected much more for the price we paid. Photos make it look nicer than it is. I chose this hotel for the location, which is directly across from beach, but there is no view anyway and all of Byron Bay is walking distance so it wasn't necessary to be that close. I suspect it'll be under new management soon - seemed like new owners were moving in the weekend we were there.

Warm welcome, great room facilities, large, comfortable room, easy parking, so close to heart of town. Only thing missing is a pool....but then again you are only about 20 steps away from the bay!!

This was an old school motel style room that was clean, comfortable, well-priced, and IDEALLY located. The location cannot be beat! I like the old school feel and the unit was spacious and clean. I would definitely stay again. Not fancy though and we couldn't connect to wifi for our entire visit ... but I'm not sure that was a bad thing.
