Very comfortable stay

We had the top floor room with its own rooftop terrace. Very large and comfortable space with great views from every window. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good. Shower could have been hotter and Friday and Saturday nights outside in the square can get noisy till 2am. Awesome location, would definitely stay here again!

Boutique

Nice little boutique hotel. Staff is great but are only there from 8-3. It is located on a tiny side street so parking is not available. Great central location.

Great Pistoia hotel.

The room was comfortable and had a nice view of the piazza. The A/C wasn't working but it wasn't too warm so that was okay. The breakfast is great, fruit, fruit juice, granola, yogurt, fresh baked goods and bread. The restaurant was also excellent and you get a discount if you are staying at the hotel.

The staff here is excellent. The location is great for seeing the city with plenty of dining options available downstairs. The associate hotel restaurant was probably the best.

Great place to stay in enter of Pistoia. Wonderful breakfast with a variety of local pastries, yogurt, cereal, cheeses, tomatoes, bread, meats, coffee and tea. Lovely room and bathroom. No a/c in room but there is a large fan. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Hotel was in a great location and room was nice and fun. Note that you may need a code to enter the building - I had not received this in advance so you may want to ask for it a few days in advance. However, I called someone and they answered and were very helpful.

Perfection!

Located just behind the Baptistry and about 20 meters from the gorgeous Cathedral square, the staff are wonderfully helpful, the recently modernized rooms are quite excellent with double glazing on the windows to ensure not an iota of noise creeps in from the market place at the back, the breakfast is plentiful and enjoyable, and the restaurant full of tempting dishes. A friend who has lived in Italy for over 35 years regards Pistoia as the country’s most beautiful town after Florence. I would not go quite so far, although it’s historic center is an absolute gem. And I can think of no more ideal hotel when visiting. A big “Bravi” to all the staff.

Staff was wonderful. Breakfast was great. Room was spacious and clean.

At the front desk we received so much help from Brigilda. She was fantastic. Nicola was very accommodating and drove with us to find the parking garage. Best breakfast ever. A wonderful place to stay while visiting Pistoia! Perfect location, adorable and friendly hotel.

Excellent all round.

Located at the heart of Pistoia and we overlooked the market square. The room was very modern with many facilities including coffee maker and USB power. The staff were really helpful and pleasant. One felt there was nothing they wouldn't do for you.

Very nice hotel friendly staff and in the middle of the town within walking distance to all attractions.

Perfetto in Pistoia

The accommodation is special and the room was modern in a central location. We particularly liked having a room on the 2nd floor overlooking the delightful small Piazza Della Sala with its daily fruit and vegetable market and cafe night life (photos). There was some noise but the double glazing was very effective. Breakfast was good served in the restaurant adjacent to the bakery. Sara was charming and very helpful, There are many interesting buildings/museums to visit in Pistoia. It seems not to have been found by many tourists. It would also make a good base for visiting Florence. Reviews rate the hotel as “exceptional”and indeed I consider this an accurate description of the Battistero Residenza D’Epoca.

60th birthday celebration with friends

Six of us spent 5 nights at the hotel. Before our arrival, I emailed and later spoke with Sarah and Brigette, who were so helpful in helping to organise a secret dinner at a wonderful restaurant approximately 20 minutes away. Sarah also organised a chocolate cake which was delicious, baked in their own bakery. Breakfast was great, boiled eggs, fruit yoghurt cheese and cold meats together with delicious home baked bread. Our rooms were a good size, we each had a suite. Air conditioning was a little sporadic and there mosquitoes around due to rain. Sarah provided us with mosquito plug-ins. We had dinner in the restaurant the first night. Service was a little sporadic, different staff to the day time, and didn’t run as smoothly. However, the food was delicious. The location of the hotel is excellent, within walking dystance if attractions, restaurants and the train station, we took the train to Florence one day. A fabulous break.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Hotel ideal gelegen im Zentrum von Pistoia und nahe am Bahnhof für Ausflüge nach Florenz, Lucca, Pisa etc., wobei Pistoia selber eine schöne Altstadt mit einigen interessanten Sehenswürdigkeiten besitzt und viel einheimisches Leben aufweist. Unterkunft sehr sauber. Hilfreiches und freundliches Team. Feines Restaurant im Haus (und auch noch mit Rabatt für Gäste).

Résidence d'époque avec confort actuel. Aménagement récent des chambres spacieuses. Très bien situé. Petit-déjeuner varié. Café excellent.

Situé à proximité de tout, en zone piétonnière, le resto couplé à l’hôtel excellent, belle décoration récente, lit très confortable, belle grande salle de bain complète. Personnel sympathique toujours prêt à nous conseiller. Les alentours sont parfois bruyants le week-end (près de la place principale). Les alentours immédiats de l’accès principal de l’hôtel (qui est derrière le Battistero) sont malheureusement peu invitants (nombreuses poubelles et bacs), mais une fois dans l’hôtel, on oublie tout ça.

Solo tuvimos un problemita cuando llegamos ya que eran las 2 AM y en recepción no había nadie Dejaron un número de emergencia pero nosotros no teníamos teléfono para llamar Deberían informarlo con tiempo así no pasa esto

Estadia perfeita. O local do hotel é muito interessante, no centro histórico, junto da pequena Piazza della Sala, lugar alegre, com bons restaurantes. O pessoal que nos atendeu foi extremamente simpático e cordial. Quarto bem confortável e limpo. Café da manhã muito bom.
