This is the only Lebanese food in Guadalajara and it was most definitely a must try. Very delicious food, plus staying there was an amazing experience with rooms that are just beautiful, well equipped and comfortable bedding.

The location was convenient and the rooms were clean and spacious. Hotel has a parking garage, but you must pay for parking.

Review for Hotel BARUK in Guadalajara: A Comedy of Errors in Disguise Hotel BARUK is like a bad joke you keep hoping will get better—but it doesn’t. The rooms weren’t properly cleaned, soap dispensers stayed empty for our entire stay, and the air conditioning beeped constantly like it was testing my patience. Sleep? Forget it. To test the level of service, we asked for a toothbrush—three nights in a row. Each time, they promised to deliver, and once even offered to sell us one (we agreed). Guess what? It never came. They also expected two adults and a child to share one robe, as if we were auditioning for a sitcom. And the cherry on top? We were overcharged for food that never even arrived—only caught after we pointed it out. All this while staring at the well-run, gorgeous hotel across the way, reminding us of what good service could have been. The valet team worked hard, but they’re not magicians—they couldn’t save the disaster that is BARUK. If you’re into frustration and a bit of unintentional comedy, this is your place. Otherwise, book anywhere else.

However, I did encounter a couple of minor issues during my stay. One of the three phones in our room was non-functional, which left me feeling a bit disconnected from the front desk should we need assistance. Additionally, on the weekend, the sound of children running in the hallways was somewhat distracting. Despite these minor inconveniences, I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the city. Overall, it’s a fantastic place that I would gladly return to! The Manager Ricardo is extremely welcoming and professional. It was a pleasure meeting him.

they took an additional 100$ deposit after I paid for my stay in full for an obligatory factional fee...they claim there going to reimburse me but they also claim that was in there terms and conditions on EXPEDIA but this is lie. The stay was nice but I don't enjoy being deceived.

Beware they will charge your credit card a week after you check out.

El hotel en si está excelente. Desde el lobby hasta las habitaciones todo está muy bonito y elegante. El servico fue bueno en cuanto a que todo estuvo en orden, solo a mi percepción algunos de los gerentes son algo pretenciosos y poco amables. Nadie fue grosero ni mucho menos, pero si espero algo de mejor actitud y amabilidad cuando viajó.

Pool under maintenance

Was booked due to the hotel having a pool and we arrived and the pool was under maintenance. So we were unable to enjoyed, wished they would have posted this ahead of time to advise costumers of the pool being under maintenance

Nice hotel , great location friendly staff very comfortable bed and nice room. The only thing is that for my last 2 days thay ran out of flour for pancakes, waffles that i was eating for breakfast every morning while staying there. Would stay again and recommend for family.

Check in was terrible, made me pay extra deposit, they made me do a room inventory and tried to make me sign 30 pages to agree on each item, they claimed there was a mistake on the fare I was given for the room I was booked in with Expedia. On the positive side property is very well kept, room was great. Good service from bell boys and valet parking

Our stay was 3 out of 5 because we had few issues with the water, the door in the bathroom and the air conditioning unit. In general the rooms are big and spaceous but too many issues. The water came out brown for a full day. I reported this the next day to the operations manager, he promised to fix it and when we came back at night we still had the brown water issue. The door in the bathroom was stuck and it never got fixed even after reporting it several times and to the manager in person. The air conditioning makes a very loud beeping every time you open or close the door of the room or you change the temperature in the thermostat, this was never fixed. Apparently that is standard, horrible! The noise in the late night is horrible, people shouting and slamming doors without anyone to stop them. The room upstairs had a late clean up one day and the noise was awful for about 45 minutes around 10 pm. Also, they did not clean the room the first day, when I asked why, they said because the housekeeper of that area got sick...what an answer. Overall the hotel is fine but I do not recommend to stay here if you want to have a nice quiet confortable night and rest. Also the pillows are the worst I have ever slept on in my entire life. 👎 The operations manager is is kind and courteous but Lacks of supervision and follow up when something is on his hands to be done and confirmed in my opinion.

Llegue a las 5pm para hacer mi check in y tuve que esperar como por media hora para la entrega de la habitación. Adicional a que la limpieza de la habitación la hicieron a las 9pm al día siguiente. La habitación presentaba un poco de mal olor también.
