Beautiful resort with excellent spa

The resort is an hour from Da Nang city and the airport. If you are looking for a mediation style holiday or a break, it is the best option. Away trom the busiest city life, casinos and nightlife. The staff service is on top of best. Welcome to share more of my experience from potential guests!

Absolutely out of this world

The Banyan Tree in Lang Co is a truly beautiful exceptional place to stay and enjoy all that Vietnam has to offer. The resort has exemplary accommodations in particular the hillside villas. They are simply superb. Built on a hillside and peninsula the hillside villas are truly peaceful, tranquil and relaxing for all families. In particular all of the staff at the resort are truly exemplar and really make the resort a great place for all types of vacations. Whether you are simply looking for a peaceful relaxing retreat the resort packs in abundance. If you fancy the hustle and bustle of the local major cities Hue, Hoi An and Da Nang are also in very close proximity. You can enjoy the hustle of any city and the retreat to the resort for rest, relaxation and superb food in any of the choice of restaurants at the resort. The Banyan Tree resort is also twinned with the adjoining Angsana resort next door where the Banyan Tree guests can also enjoy all amenities offered there too, including an 18 hole golf course within the Lang Co hillside. In arrival each guest party is allocated to a villa host. The Villa host provide a great service for arranging local water sports, booking restaurants, arranging day trips and simply attending to each and every need one would ever need whilst staying here. The BT resort team have simply done themselves proud during our stay and we would wholly recommend for all types and sizes of families.

The overall condition of the hotel was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the food was pretty good.

Wonderful and relaxing stay. We enjoyed every second and the massage at the spa was the best we’ve ever had. Staff go above and beyond to make everything perfect!

We stayed in the lagoon view villa and could bird watch from the pool deck. There were kingfishers, bee eaters, jacanas, egrets and many other birds that came around. The pool was delightful and the perfect temperature. Using the bikes to get around the resort was fun. The beach is huge with very few people.

The beach view villa, with pool and jacuzzi was amazing. A very relaxing holiday. The staff were very attentive. The beach is a vast stretch of sand with a nice wavey sea, still quite safe for bathing. A fabulous location. Very nice to have Vietnamese restaurants but we would have liked more choice. The Azura did provide an Italian menu but it was quite limited.

The property truly shines amidst a backdrop of breathtaking nature, meticulously landscaped gardens, and a pristine beach. The staff exhibited exceptional promptness and friendliness throughout our stay. Celebrating my birthday there was made unforgettable by the thoughtful surprises they orchestrated during the day. However, there were some notable lapses in attention to detail. Upon entering our villa, a strong damp odor greeted us, and the white wine served was barely chilled in all restaurants. The main bar, while elegantly designed, oddly featured a large screen playing Netflix at a volume reminiscent of a local pub, which seemed out of place for a luxury hotel. To add to the culinary letdowns, the expensive pizza at the Italian restaurant left much to be desired, falling below the quality of even frozen options found in local supermarkets. We raised our concerns, and the restaurant kindly removed it from our bill. Perhaps the most puzzling experience was being charged for a flimsy cloth washbag containing hotel amenities like a toothbrush and haircomb. It left us wondering how such bags could be reused. In conclusion, our stay was enjoyable, but it could have easily transitioned from great to exceptional had these seemingly small yet important details not detracted from the overall experience, especially given the premium price tag.

The place was one of the best resorts I have been to. The 3 bedroom villa had the best view. The service and attention to detail was excellent. In particular Bich took excellent care of us.

My wife and I fully enjoyed the stay here with the kind care of Phung who took good care of all our needs and request. A good sanctuary to relax. Love the Champagne breakfast to kick start our day.

Great stay

Dated facility but beautiful location

It was clear that the lockdown has caused some devastation to tourist industry in Vietnam. However, I am not at all impressed by their policy of taking deposit without my permission. They took deposit from my debit card instead of just swiping, on the 9th May and they still ( 2 June) owe me the difference from deductions of our spend. They assured me it would be refunded within a week! We are on a 6 week tour and if every hotel had employed this policy we would have no funds left on the charge card to live on. The staff at reception desk appeared very inexperienced. On the positive the cart drivers, chamber maids, gardeners were absolutely happy and provided service with a genuine smile. The a la cart food in the Vietnamese rest was amazing.

The hotel stay on the hidden place back are the mountain and facing to the ocean. Away from everything, crossing the tunnel every time you want to go Đa Nang and Hoi An which is i like it very much.

This is a beautiful hotel where we were able to relax for a few days following a wonderful breakfast! Despite some construction noise in the distance, our lagoon villa and magnificent views were great and some minor issues with the villa were quickly resolved. We had a wonderful meal at Saffron which we would recommend.

We stayed for 2 weeks and did not want to leave. The villa was beautiful, and the staff and service was the next level! We've never had such service at a hotel! Our host and hostess Tuan and Bich were amazing making sure we had everything we needed, even arranging foot baths for us when we returned to our villa after a long day sight seeing. If you want a hotel to totally unwind, away from shops etc then this is the place to go! Extra thank you to all the staff in the restuarants and the pool guys who looked after us every day as we relaxed. Also if you get the chance do try the spa as the deep tissue massage was the best I've had.

Banyan Tree Lang Co is a small piece of Heaven, the Villas are clean, comfortable and all have beautiful views. We were treated so well by all the staff and it felt like we were saying Goodbye to family at the end of our stay. We are so in Love with this area and resort that we are planning another trip here in the near future.

Outstanding get away on the middle coast of Vietnam! Lots of luxury and culture. If you like golf and spa you will love this place.

Everything about this place is amazing from the fresh flowers and fruit in the room to the bikes that guest can use to roam around property. Our villa was beautiful and steps away from the beach. The daily breakfast was standout with so many options AND a mimosa station. The staff were by far the friendliest out of all the places we stayed in the past. We were too jet lagged to go out for dinner so we ordered room service…they sent a delicious cake for my spouses bday WITH CANDLES. We will definitely be back with friends.

I stayed at pool villa. It has a nice Jakuji so we can swimming a bit even though cold and windy weather. Their cleaning service is great. even though i didn't ask to make our room up, they keep managing our room with cleanness. unlimited tea, coffee, cookies and water supplements. and turn down service is also great. They also provide extra blanket and heater based on my requests. The staffs are all amazing. Very well service minded and ready for helping me. Main reason to stay is hotel is playing a golf. Caddy is lind and very helpful. i am satisfied of the most of service in Banyan Tree.

Home sweet home

A big thank you to the Bayan Tree hotel staff and managers for having taken such great care of us during our stay. Tuyen, thank you for handling all our needs ( hope we were not too demanding), Huyen for daily suggesting new and very delicious Vietnamese breakfast dishes and ensuring they were diet compliant, Hung for the hand wash and tea ceremonies, Oanh for organising the many surprises on my birthday, My and y Duong for your exceptional welcome and always smiling days. Thank you Phuoc, our buggy driver for taking us at night to angsana and Saffron. We will also remember the housekeeping team handling our villa and surprising us every day with small gifts, cool set ups, relaxing flowery bath and the aromatherapy foot wash. Last but not least, thank you for the trips to Hue and Hoi An, with an exceptionally nice, safe, knowledgeable driver, Canh. Overall, the trip was very enjoyable. Villa was very comfortable and well appointed. The hot jacuzzi was fun to use while raining and windy outside. Food wise, we never ate that much at breakfast. Dinners at Water Cress and Saffron were top! Both restaurants have great chefs and staff!

Amazing staff. Could not be more helpful or do more to make your stay the most enjoyable possible

Villas are far away from the lobby and a buggy ride is necessary. The dining on property is somewhat limited. Resort location is beautiful and staff are very friendly. We were upgraded and very spacious. Can't really complain about anything except the two things above. At least in our room, there was a kitchen so if we knew, we would have probably brought something to cook. However, no convenience store or anything on property and anything local was not near by.

All staff at the Banyan Tree were so helpful and happy. We had a very relaxing time and our villa hosts were fantastic in getting anything we needed organised. We were especially surprised by the anniversary and birthday surprises they arranged.

Nice resort despite the weather

weather was atrocious which put a bit of a dampener on the stay but obviously the hotel cannot control that. Staff were friendly and enthusiastic if a little overwhelmed at peak times. Biggest gripe was lack of food and beverage choices with only 2 restaurants open and limited menu items. Food quality was okay, not great given the cost of it relative to outside the resort.

Relaxing at Banyan Tree

Great relaxing stay at Banyan Tree. We ate in all five restaurants including the Rice Bowl in sister hotel Angsana - the Rice bowl restaurant is very nice. Spa treatments were lovely, professional and extremely relaxing. Golf was challenging but amazing. Staff meet your every need and lastly The pool suites & resort is beautiful.

Perfect getaway.

The 3-bedroom villa was big, clean and beautiful. We absolutely loved the private pool and jacuzzi with the stunning seaview. The breakfast was delicious and had a good selection of food and fresh juices. The staff, especially Bich was very professional and helpful and made our stay at Banyan Tree an enjoyable experience. The Banyan Spa is excellent and not to be missed.

The place is beautiful and relaxing, just the food’s choices not much.

Excellent Service

Banyan Tree has once again made our holiday a very relaxing one. Service in particular is excellent! One of many examples of excellent service started with a casual conversation over breakfast where we mentioned that the bed was too soft for us. They immediately made arrangements for the bed to be flipped over to the firmer side! Another example was the offer of another villa to rest in while we wait for our flight when they could not offer us late check out due to a guest checking in. Whatever we needed, be it coffee, water, essential oil etc, the items were always promptly delivered to us. There are so many examples of good service that it would be impossible to list them all. The view from the room is also breathtaking. It has been one wonderful stay.

There were constructions around the hotel it was quite noisy and not so present while we paid quite a lot money....

Exquisite care of rooms, service was the best we’ve ever experienced, staff attention to detail.

From 1 to 100 reasons the STAFF. They know how to do it👍.. At all levels, people are smiling, kind, respectful and helpful. The place is so beautiful, neat and cheerful, a bit far from the airport (almost 2 hrs in heavy traffic) but it is worth it. Mrs Dao and Mrs Lan took care of every detail. This is my 2nd experience with Banyan tree resorts, after Bali, and will definitely follow their chain in other destinations.

Pleasure To Stay

Quite simply out of this world in terms of location, amenities , staff, food and accommodation. It was a pleasure to stay in such a hotel. From Brett the manager through to the staff on the buggies to take you to your villa without fail everyone was so friendly and interested in making sure we were having a great time. They all knew our names including our two small children who were made to feel special by all the team . The housekeeping staff made the boys towel animals nightly at turn down and little touches like bookmarks and cards left nightly as well. The Villas are spacious .and incredibly well equipped from the infinity pool and jacuzzi , through to baths with views of the ocean from your tub.and the views take your breathe away constantly. Lots to do for children and adults a like, its not cheap , but you pay for quality, and this hotel is write up there with the very best.

The beach is amazing with gorgeous water, and the property is very secluded with a very intimate feel. The staff all go out of their way to make you feel welcome (a special thanks to Windy for going above and beyond to make our stay amazing!).

The nicest of 7 5star hotels we’ve stayed at during our 2 week Vietnam trip. Beautiful villa with with great views of the sunrise from the deck w pool. Large resort with big private beach, amazing accommodations, great food and hospitality. Good location. 1 hr to ancient town of Hue or 1hr the other direction to the city of Hoi An. Would recommend and stay at again.

NOTHING to fault this hotel! Dao, our villa host, was fantastic.She fixed everything for us, such as continuing travel etc. Small details as your own portable wi-fi for the beach, clip on reading lights for dinner meny's at night, your own bike...Managers night ,a great evening .The seedlings dinners is a wonderful idea. The villas is a relaxing and very comfortable. We can't wait to come back!

The most incredible experience. The staff goes above and beyond, the amenities are fabulous and the resort itself is beyond our expectations. It’s secluded and private, exactly what we were looking for. They have a free shuttle that goes to Hoi An and Da Nang and Hue. They go above and beyond to ensure you have the best time there. We can’t wait to come back!

A lovely quiet experience that people looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle should choose. However it is quite a bit away from major cities so be wary of that.

Everything about this property was so special. Staff are Extremelly friendly and helpful. They pay attention to the tiniest details. The resort treats their guests like royals. Rooms are very spacious and clean and samrlty equipped with everything any guest might need. Shuttle bus is available and always on time.

Fantastic area in great nature. Beach was great with clean water and nice sand, great for kiddies to swim safely in. We stayed in a one bed lagoon villa that was great: good layout, good finishings, a nice little lap pool for us to relax in in the morning or after lunch. The weather was hot but not unbearably so as the area is well ventilated. Great idea to have bikes for everyone, saves buggy use and makes it more enjoyable and free to get around. Food was good and service attentive - even if the english spoken by staff is sub-par they do make an extra effort to resolve any inconvenience faced by the guests.

This hotel has very nice staff and the pool realeves you from the intense heat!🔥🔥They also have a great selection of activities for kids under 12 that are free. The minibar has great food try the forero rocheres!🍫 Have a nice stay at banyantree!

Staff are very friendly, helpful, efficient and go out of their way to accommodate. The views are spectacular, the villas have everything you need. The breakfasts are over the top amazing.

Return to our favourite hotel

This is our fourth visit to this hotel and once again we enjoyed our stay there. What makes this hotel stand out from others is the staff who makes us feel special and continues to exceed our expectations after each stay. They remember what we like from our previous stays and go out of their way to cater to our needs and requests.

Amazing hotel... we loved it!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Banyan Tree, Vietnam. The room was luxurious with stunning views and there were some amazing extra touches which our children loved (e.g. free gifts every evening, complimentary afternoon tea). The restaurant options were all superb particularly Saffron and Azura. All the staff were fantastic. Of particular note was the Food and Beverage Manager and our brilliant waitress at the Saffron restaurant who even took the time to take our children to meet the chef. Not forgetting our villa host, Dao, who was also incredibly helpful. She organised experiences for us every day and gave us so much brilliant advice. We can't thank her enough. We definitely hope to return to the hotel. It was a wonderful holiday.

Nice Pool Villa Hotel

It is such amazing experience at world class hotel likes Banyan Tree Da nang Vietnam. I have to thanks for the great staffs such as Dao Hong, Dao, Tu, Hong...many staffs :) their hospitally services. Well done! Keep it up! I hope i will visit them again in near future.

Not friendly hotel for elderly

There were many stairs on site and even we saw a lift next to the stairs we can't use it as it requires a key to operate. The many hotel staff just stood on and watched me dragged my 90 year old grandma up the stairs. I thought the staff lacks compassion and the hotel shouldve been better catered for wheelchair access throughout not just the main entrance. This place is perfect for couples otherwise.

Great Hotel, Perfect Stay

This trip is celebrating my parent’s anniversary and teams at the Banyan Tree has created a memorable and surprising stay for my parent!!!! Thanks a lot! Special thanks to Sunny, Thuin, Mila from guest services, Ngai, Phoung from Saffron and Thao from the Watercourt, Master from yoga and Pilates class and teacher from hot chocolate and ginger tea classes😍 Although the weather was so poor, all smiles from the buggy drivers, gardener, hskp staff, chefs, fitness staff around the hotel are our sunshine, thanks for your friendly and helpful attitude, u all made us a fantastic trip in Vietnam, greatly appreciated 😘

Beautiful place, excellent service!

Great breakfast - hotels own kick off juice, homemade smoked salmon and the Vietnamese pancakes are worth mentioning. Plenty of activities like golf, tennis, yoga. Staff very kind and considerate. Overall great stay

One of the Best Villa Stays Ever

Stayed in 3 bedroom villa which had superb views of the sea and surrounding hills. In itself, the villa was marvelous with sunrise views, huge heated swimming pool and jacuzzi and large rooms and common areas. Staff were impecable and really go all out to make your stay a wonderful one. Resort facilities were extensive and the decor and design were superb. Only downside is that the beach is closed during the monsoon season.

Best hotel ever

The property itself is very far away from everything else, but the property is very beutiful and very well kept, we stayed in the Villa, i was worried about mosquito before we arrived but there's no need to worry about that, the hotel does a superb job in pest control. It has everything in the room, you literallly don't have to bring anything.

Best hotel with super service

The stay in the banyan tree was amazing. The villas are breathtaking and the tranquility is unbelievable for busy Vietnam. Service is not taken lightly at the hotel which is nicely illustrated by the check in being conducted in your villa and by highly professional staff. The whole experience is defiantly worth the high price.

Amazing hotel with great golf course & great caddy

I played golf three times and it was a wonderful experience. Praise goes to caddy no. 11 her name is Dieu. Hotel staff are so polite and respectful. Flawless service and top notch food. Accommodation was great, such a treat to have your own pool. My wife and I had our own bikes to scoot around. Beautiful beach and the whole place is very zen like. Very calm and peaceful! Hotel provides shuttle service to Hoi An and Hue which is a great way to experience city life.

Hotel is beautiful and in secluded position,sightseeing require transport which hotel provides there is a golf course onsite.All facilities and pampering available but at a steep price.Breakfast is delicious and of good variety.All in all a stunning hotel but take plenty of cash.

Beautiful Hillside view but remote

The Hillside Pool villa was wonderful, however the hotel is quite far and remote from any city. The biggest disappointment was the food quality at the hotel. Due to the location of the resort, we were limited to only the 7 restaurants at the resort which did not merit a 5 star rating. Selection was limited and local food was rather tasteless. Staff were not adequately trained to communicate with guests on a level I expect of a 5 star property. That said, the management did do everything they could to improve our stay. They were very kind and tried to be helpful anytime they could. There are many complimentary activities such as kayaking, archery, shuttle buses to nearby towns, biking, hiking and other reasonably priced paid activities. Overall, I would likely consider a different 5-star hotel on my next trip.

Top class Banyan tree resort

From stepping in the resort, I felt like a king, Chau waited for us at the front of reception, ever since then, the whole experience was magnificent. This is the perfect da nang hotel if you want to relax with high privacy. The Saffron Thai restaurant is a must try. I can tell you I've been travelling around SE Asia for over 10 years. This is by far the best Thai food I have ever tasted.

Wonderful experience for couples

The restaurants at Banyan Tree were nice and we particularly enjoyed the dinner at Saffron which had a fabulous view over the entire resort. Originally we arranged destination dining at the beach but due to poor weather it was cancelled. Our butler suggested us to have dinner at Rice Bowl at Angsana Hotel which was just 3 minutes away. The Vietnamese food there was great. We also arranged different activities such as a day trip to Hue, Da Nang and Hoi An and it was made privately not through the hotel. We also had spa at the resort which was a wonderful experience and a Vietnamese coffee making class at Angsana (we took a boat from Banyan Tree to Angsana along the canal which was quite a special experience too). The only disappointment was that a power adapter at the roof of the villa was malfunctioning and it kept making a buzzing noise starting from the second night. During the third night we couldn't tolerate anymore so we called the front desk at 3 am and they immediately sent a team of 4 people to fix it. That was the only disappointment but I guess we were just unlucky. Overall a fabulous trip, we would come back again.

Far away from City

Hotel is OK, but too far away from city. It need to take two hours. And always ask two times to get things, like soap, ice....

Pampered

Pampered from the time we passed immigration until the check in of our return flight, Banyan Tree was exceptional. The hotel is exceptionally cared for and the villas are amazing. Our garden villa's infinity pool overlooked water which extended to lush trees and a mountains. The view amazed us with every look. The staff was personal and attentive, knew us by name and asked us daily at breakfast what they could do for us. The food, from the pool to the Thai restaurant, was excellent and well priced. The villa room had everything we could ask for and so many subtle details were well thought out. They're thoughtful and proactive --- even automatically set us up for a late checkout because of our flight time!

Great escape if you want to chill

Great hotel with extremely comfortable room, a perfect destination to spend 2-3 days but don't expect anything out of the hotel. Da Nang/Hoi An is ugly, the Banyan Tree is one hour away from there, nested in an beautiful natural location. Very mice beach but dangerous water and the weather can easily change because of the surrounding of mountains.

Can't fault this hotel. Staff, rooms, location, spa, ambience, all perfect. Did not want to leave & wished we could have stayed longer.

This was so wonderful. The staff are so incredibly friendly and its all about what they can do for you.... the prices at the restaurants were high but I guess this is a 5 star hotel. Lots to do too.

Very good hospitality

The staff are so helpful and nice to us. Always find smiles on their face. They have special staff catering your need and help u to arrange your schedule and trip. They are so nice that they will talk with u about the day and schedule coming up every morning during breakfast. When services and food have delivered to your room, they always called back to your room to ensure you satisfy the service and see if there is any further help which u need. I told them that the screw of my glasses have loosened accidentally, they even send an engineer to help me to fasten it. My wife and I enjoy their service a lot especially the services of the manager and those serving breakfast at the morning. The introductory class for cocktail is absolutely nice and with fun. We started to love enjoying in every dinner at the hotel and studying them.

Perfect place for a peaceful mind

Great service and daily complimentary activities! Love the yoga sessions and free bike that I get to use anytime during my stay. A little bit too far from everything else, but if you are looking to just stay within the resort for a few peaceful days, this will be a great choice!

Oct 2015 stay - garden villa / hilltop residence

The room service or housekeeping staff sometimes couldn't understand our requests. But the front of house staff speak great English. We first stayed in the garden villa. The pond kind of looked like a swamp. We then moved to the hilltop residences. AMAZING ( but not cheap)

A very special hotel. Wonderful staff, outstanding restaurants and wine list, and really excellent facilities. We had a beach villa and spent 5 nights here. Very private. The best Banyan Tree we have stayed in.

another excellent banyantree resort in the developing tourist area of Lang Co. two Laguna hotels side by side on the beach, on top of a Nick Faldo golf course. But tourism is still a very new industry in central Vietnam and limited point of interests away from hotel.
