Upgrades to premium. Rooms were no different but the price. Toilet, bed, benches walls were absolutely covered in Ants. Photos taken. Ended up sleeping in our car in the car park due to the Ant problem and a newborn… very disappointing for the price we paid. Cleanness wasn’t there, room, corridor smelt like weed, carpets were wet, balcony door didn’t lock. Mould covered through out shower, wall and floor tiles. Want to request refund.

Blankets and pillows were stink. Location is really really good. Just hope they can wash these blanket sheets properly…

Great old style motor inn with lovely renovated rooms. Friendly staff. Lovely view of river. Easy parking. Easy flat walk to shops.

Checked in early - friendly welcome parked outside room. Restaurant in complex which was convenient. Good comfortable bed.

We enjoyed our stay at this motel on 21 October at the beginning of our road trip that we returned for our last night and once again it was enjoyable, the staff are so friendly and even remembered that we had stayed there previously. We will return to this motel on our next holiday

Lakes Entrance random stay

Randomly decided we’d stay in LakesEntrance on our road trip. Paid a bit more for a better room. Seems to need a deep clean in the Hallways and Balcony’s etc. Was quite older compared to photos we felt…. But hey we had a good nights sleep and used the WashingMachine etc.

We had a ground floor room and staff were friendly and helpful and greeted us on arrival even though w had self check in message earlier in the day. Room was clean and was in quiet area.

It was definitely overpriced for what we got (blame that on Easter weekend??). Room was small and outdated and the toilet leaked so flushed randomly and dripped. No utensils to stir coffee in the morning (though it was nice that coffee was provided). There was dust on the lights by the bed and one of the glasses were dirty (though nice they were chilled). The twin bed was quite comfortable and queen was ok.

Room in bad condition,needs a number of repairs.General maintenance needs t7o be done. Pillows need replacing,curtains need to be fixed so they can run on tracks. Overall a rundown place with nothing going for it. Will not stay there again & would not recommend to others

Very old property and not kept clean. The bed was reasonably comfortable but that’s all that I could give a pass. Holes and rips in curtains, tiny kitchen/bath room vanity share, couch stained, doors chipping.

It was the perfit

Started badly as we booked directly a second night in August for November 4th only to find it was not recorded & Motel was "No Vacancy" Eventually Manager found a room seeing we had written note confirming second night. Then we found water leaking in the bathroom/toilet - quite unsafe on tiles - so disappointing we changed motels.

This motel is ideally situated within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the wharf. The 'touchless' check in and out was seamless and the room was excellent. Some street noise but it's a quiet area and we enjoyed our overnight stay.

Check-in was an issue. I arrived around 8.30pm, there was no one at the front desk, no one answers the night bell. No one responds to the online chat function on the website. When I made the booking, I made it with a Canadian phone number, but they do not seem to support international phone numbers, so I did not receive any information about how to check in. I had to walk to McDonalds and use the free wifi to message an Australian friend to call the hotel to let me in. In a tourist destination like Lakes Entrance, I would assume many foreigners do not have access to an Australian phone? On the positive side, it was clean and close to the middle of town on the main street.

Perfect place for our overnight stop

Booked to have breakfast delivered. Waited an hour in the morning and no breakfast. Finally got onto reception who said they don't provide breakfasts anymore!!!!! On the plus side bed very comfortable and pillows were sensational.

This motel is very conveniently located with easy walking access to the lakes front and short walk to the rear and easy access to shops and dining. The room was clean and well appointed.

Chose it over other motels because it has restaurant - not operating. Australia Day holiday meant dining options in the town were limited

Manager kindly provided a room upgrade free of charge. Conveniently located with an easy walk to shops and restaurants. Good walking path beside the water just across the road. Keyless entry which was hassle free and easy parking.

The ease of getting a text with your door code and not having to have a key. It was Also just a short walk up the street for dinner

This was a great place to stop on your travels. It was very convenient to the town centre. The staff were very helpful and the no contact check in and out was good for keeping your contact with others low.

Had a premium room , no iron/board in room, tv 32inch to low when sitting in bed to watch. Shower head no pressure and only dribbled out. Outside the room was dirty needed vacuuming. Face washer found on floor next to cupboard. Overall very dissatisfied would not stay here again.

Always stay at Banjo Patterson when in Lakes. Staff always friendly, rooms spotless clean and the beds are comfortable. And good parking. What more would you want

Rooms looked as if they have been recently renovated, bed was super comfy as was pillows, a good night sleep. Just wish the restaurant was open for dinner.
