Good place
Slightly overpriced for the experience you get
Friendly staff, room comfort was okay. Terrible wifi - it needs a lot improvement.
Good
The property was nice, for the price and the amenities offered. I would book here again.
Nice location
swimming pool
Full of insect couldn’t sleep all night i was itching all night and the room was full of insects and lizards. I left the hotel the next morning. Couldn’t stay one night
This was lovely and if willing to walk a bit found laundry and restaurants
Stay was okay. We were in a Villa and enjoyed the big space. Only one room has AC. The wifi was having problems and being furthest from the front, meant no access the majority of our stay. Towels did not look too clean and the furniture had stains. The pools were lovely. Although there’s not much around, there’s a few food places and a convenience store without walking distance. Staff was very friendly.
Not a bad place for the price 2nd pool wasn’t usable Very limited staff
The place wash clean and peaceful. The staff very friendly and pleasant. Delicious free breakfast.
It was good to stay not to close from Ubud central, and still reachable by motorbike!! You can rent in many place around.
Great place, very quiet and close to stylish restaurants at PARQ which is within 5 min walk. Restaurant and swimming pools are very good. Less than 5 min drive to city center. Easy access for Grab or Gojek. Highly recommend Bakung Ubud Resort and Villa
Welcome to Ubud, lived the local family cafe at Dewar
工作人员都非常友好,环境也很好。
Staff, service and food was good. But need to upgrade bathroom fittings
Very friendly staff, specially recepcionist
We were Happy staying at this property, the staff very good. Just small things that they solved soon. Thank you
stuffs are friendly and welcoming
Excellent value hotel among paddy fields
Set among rice fields on the northern fringe of Ubud, this budget hotel provided relaxation. The staff were excellent, the food delicious at a reasonable price.
Good value for the price. Exceptionally friendly staff.
A bit noisy in the early hours of the morning
Nice and quite place to stay, close to Ubud centre shuttle service pick up and drop service is good. Hotel staff very helpful especially Bhaskara front desk person is made quite impressive and happy with overall service. We definitely visit again to this resort.
All furntiure and sheets dirty and stained. Found blood stains on floor mats and sheets and mattress old and lumpy as are pillows. So many alive and dead mosquitos literally 30 or more living and 40 or more dead all over bed and bathroom. Floor, tables, windows, headboard and floor all need a scrub and all sheets and towels heavily stained. Had them replace and the new ones at more and larger stains. No smart tv only 2 bahasa stations though they claim to have satellite TV No laundry though advertised they did Breakfast doest start until 8. We have kids and start our day earlier than 8. Told us they would make boxed breakfast for us early and they never made Room doors don't lock Dirty dishes next door been there for almost 24 hours nobody cleans up Front desk not helpful or friendly. No manger available on weekends to help fix these issues Been in Bali 3 years, one of the worst hotel experiences. So many better options. Restaurant has terrible food Pools are nice though need to be cleaned and maintained. Outside/grounds look better than inside. Bathroom is moldy, unclean, outdated and needs repair. Lots of sharp broken tiles. Day 1 check in they say no bath or pool towels available until tonight as all are at laundry. How can all hotel towels be out. So kids swim but cant dry off or take bath as no towels at all and no staff seems to care of help. Lighting is so dark especially in the bathroom Says mini bar but they do not have in our room Saf
Ok
Pretty good!
I saw some bad reviews before our stay, but we had a lovely time. The staff was incredibly friendly, booked tours for us and were reachable on Whatsapp. We had a room in the second floor which was pretty quiet, and very clean - except for a few ants but that’s to be expected anywhere in Bali. Breakfast could be improved - we only paid for it one day and decided not to again (very poor selection of food, and not great quality)
Great stay
Nice place to stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Not worth the money. Staff are a bizarre mix of pleasant and helpful and downright rude and aggressive. Wouldn't stay here again. Bed bugs, changed rooms. Breakfast is the most bizarre mix of foods I have seen at a buffet. Toasted salad sandwich with ketchup was deff the low point. Stale pastries. all food uncovered so flies all over it. Possibly the worst coffee in Ubud, maybe even Bali. I had so many amazing and average coffees but this sticks out. Carton juice watered down so it's a bizarre kind of non clear water. Not worth what it says it is that's for sure. Security much to be desired also. Just weird. A LONG way from town. Their GPS takes you about 1/2km short of the actual place. Mangosteen villas is about 1.5km further back towards town. Far superior for the same or less money. Its ratings and reviews must be faked.
Okay stay
Hotel is quite a walk from center (45mins) so a scooter is the beat option. Breakfast poor, always cold and slow. Staff got the orders wrong every morning! Staff at reception were nice. Scooter available from hotel for 70k 24hrs. Rooms dirty, coffee stains on ledges which could be washed off. Lots of black mould in bathroom
Great place with very helpful peolpe working there
Hôtel confortable avec navette.
Hotel très propre et belles piscines. Chambre spacieuse. Belle salle de bain. Petit dejeuner avec tout ce qu'il faut. Service de navette 3 fois par jour à cette saison sinon 70 000 rp par trajet par voiture sur demande. Beau resto à proximité: Tullen.
The bathroom water basin, clogged pipe. The bathtub too water basin, clogged pipe.
Service is excellent. Reception and restaurant staff are very friendly. Towels provided can be a bit more clean.
Spacious rooms
We had a lovely stay at Bakung where rooms were very spacious. Our room would have needed a bit of TLC and breakfast could have been more varied but overall we had a pleasant stay. The rice paddies just outside of your room when you get out are a nice bonus!
The room I booked was for a king bed and it was two seperate single beds that weren’t joined together. I purposely booked this for the king bed not for a single bed. The staff were lovely but that was about it.
Cute and cozy
Great staff, very friendly. Clean room
The place is horrible. The worse hotel I stayed in my life
I like how the property is away from the centre of ubud. It’s has tranquility vibe and clean room.
The pool is nice and the room is pretty big, far from the centre: a scooter is needed
Great location out of town, very peaceful! We had a huge room (studio suite), the only let down was the bathroom configuration - shower toilet all in one “wet area” so the toilet got soaked when you showered and the floor was wet always, screened off shower would be better! Breakfast was good, you could request eggs how you like. Wifi was not good, seemed to drop in and out, it would be good if they fixed that. All in all we enjoyed our stay :-)
Nice place & friendly staff. Need more space for parking car please 😊
Overall, the resort is nice, quiet, clean & well kept. It's mostly pool view trough balcony glass doors as well as very nice but hidden rice terrace view along room corridors. Buffet breakfast was not great but alright, offering mixture of local and western choices including fresh fruits, bread, tea & coffee served from 7:30am. Didn't find the restaurant staff friendly enough compared to other place I've been. The front desk staff is friendly and very helpful. Daily scheduled transport & pick up to and from Ubud is provided FOC 3 times on a day. Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Bakung Ubud. There are not much to explore around the resort within walking distance. There are a few other resort nearby providing additional dining choice.
This place is clean and decent, However, there is a lack of a in-built hairdryer and water boiler's dirty and rusty. Wifi coverage is iffy. Staff are nice in general but do not go the extra mile in service
Good value for money
Location a bit far from Ubud centre but good if you want peace and quiet. Good sized room. Breakfast is OK. Could do with some variety.. Overall a pleasant stay.
Would definitely recommend
Butu was absolutely amazing and so helpful. He arranged our transfers to Gili T and water rafting. He was so genuine and gave us good prices. We felt we could trust him. Thanks Butu
Very nice and friendly staff all round good hotel :-)
Good hotel, friendly staff but if you want to be close to the shops etc. it is a bit far out and need to rely on transportation and the shuttle service
Good hotel situated amongst rice fields
Such a lovely hotel. A little bit out of the way of central Ubud so it’s nice and quiet. They also offer free shuttle service to and from the center of town a few times a day. Two really nice pools. Good food. Would definitely recommend.
it was very good
Great Hotel
It looks deceiving when you turn down the little alley towards the hotel. The hotel room was amazing, comfortable bedding, modern, great TV channels, beautiful bathroom. Hotel staff was very friendly and the restaurant was tasty and cheaper then the average prices you find in Ubud.
Cheap affordable hotel
Very nice staff and the pool is nice . Food is good and room is clean . The wifi is slow . I will recommend to others if your budget is tight .
Nice hotel, nice views.
1. The breakfast can has more food to choose. 2. Room Mattress and pillow covers need to be replaced every day.
Excellent hotel for low price!
Me and my partner stayed here and we thought the hotel was excellent. People were really friendly and very helpful! The room was amazing and very spacious. Good air con in the rooms and they are kept in good condition by the cleaners. The complex is beautiful with views over a stunning rice field. Its only 10 minutes into the center of ubud and the hotel will take you using their shuttle bus. Very impressed with the hotel and would highly reccomend it. The price should be more to stay here!
Will back there someday
Clean n nice hotel
AAA
Great and clean rooms. Staff is excellent and quite helpful
Great Hotel situated between rice fields
We stayed a total of 3 nights at Bakung Ubud Resort and got a free upgrade to a pool view suite and we left with mixed feelings: The hotel staff was super friendly and even stored our suitcases securely for free while we were staying on Nusa Lembongan and always tried to help organize drivers or renting scooters. The pool area is beautiful and we really enjoyed chilling out in the cold after discovering the rice terraces and Ubud the whole day. The restaurant is good too, definitely book breakfast as its a buffet with lots of different western and Indonesian treats! The main courses are relatively expensive and small portions, expect to pay between 50k and 120k per main course. At first we really enjoyed our big suite too, but because of bad insulation (when you close the doors to the balcony there's still a gap of around 3-4cm) it all feels damp and smells a bit moldy, especially the bedding. We had to change our room for the last night and got a room downstairs and as someone else already mentioned the bathroom smelled really disgusting even though it was clean. But even with this downsides we really enjoyed our stay at Bakung Ubud and had a great time, I guess you just need to be aware of these issues and can't expect Balinese Hotels in this price range to comply to western standards.
Great hotel, value for money!
This hotel was lovely, not located in Ubud itself but only a short drive in the free shuttle that was regularly dropping off and picking up from the centre of Ubud so the location was not a problem. The pool was lovely and so was the food that we ordered, free breakfast with a nice selection too. Staff were always really friendly and helpful and arranged us airport transfers the day we left. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfy clean room, peace and quiet and not too far from all Ubud has to offer.
Good Experience
Hotel is bit away from Ubud Center. Shuttle makes up for it.
Cheap and Clean Hotel
Nice hotel.
Lovely hotel, friendly staff. A little far from the centre of ubud but we hired a scooter for $7 Aus a day and found it very easy to get around ourselves. Breakfast was satisfying each day, coffee was no good. Room was basic, comfy bed. Bathroom clean, but a slight problem with drainage so it smelt when we had a shower. We had a bottom floor room close to the pool area which was very nice.
Quiet place
Stayed at Baku g for 3 nights I payed for a hotel room but ended up in a villa because the gaps in the door were to big& mozzies would have hammered me. A bit out of the way but nice& quiet. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was ok for toast& tea and fruit. For what I payed it did the job.
Good Ubud hotel
Great size rooms, very clean. Food excellent and very friendly, helpful staff. Free shuttle bus three times a day was really handy.
Nice hotel 10 minutes from the Ubud market
We had requested for an early check-in due to an early morning flight and it was seamlessly accommodated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is located serenely amidst the rice fields and is pleasingly close to the market (5-8 minute ride on the scooter). The hotel also provides timely pick-up and drops to the main market and is convenient. They even arrange for a pick-up just in case you might have missed the last one. Breakfast menu can be slightly improved; the dessert changes daily; apart from that the other stuff is pretty much routine. Like all the hotels in Bali, this one too needs to work up a bit on the options in the in-house breakfast menu. All in all, it was a pleasant stay.
Clean hotel with large rooms. Worth your money
The stay was comfortable. Rooms were large, well furnished and clean. Breakfast was nutritious and balanced. Staff was helpful and friendly.
Nice place overall
Hotel was quite nice, staff very courteous and helpful. Unluckily we were placed next to the driveway and above the kitchen which were quite noisy late at night. Pretty good location to get into Ubud.
Nice hotel near rice paddies
Too far from ubud town centre but had courtesy bus to town. Lovely scenery and frogs singing at night. Buffet breakfast was cold on occasions. Staff lovely but didn't know a lot of things like mixing a spirit with juice and didn't know what a power adapter was. Overall a nice stay for relaxing.
tops
enjoyed it relaxing
tops! 5 stars.
generally very good. very good service. good breakfast on offer. location is about 10min away from ubud town centre. but they have 3 shuttle services operating for free throughout the day. location is quiet. rooms are very clean and offer very good comfort. value for money as well.
NICE HOTEL
Nice hotel
Enjoyable stay
We loved our stay in Bakung Ubud. This hotel sets high standards for its service to customers and nothing is too much trouble. Quite a new hotel with very pleasant rooms and outside environment. Although we were a little way out from main shops, the hotel provides a shuttle service (one free return trip). Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Stay at Bakung. Seriously.
We LOVED Bakung Ubud. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the pool was lovely, the breakfast was good, and the room.... the room was INCREDIBLE. The Studio Suite is huge. Couch, full wardrobe with safe box, floor space, huge windows, huge bed with bench at the foot, a sit down vanity, and a large bathroom with separate shower and tub. And the AC was incredible.
Great resort and staff :)
I stayed here for a long-term stay (20+ days) to get away from it all. Good value for money, clean and modern. It is a little further out of Ubud, but the shuttle bus makes it workable. Friendly staff, and might I add the Internet speed was excellent. I needed it to study and upload website files while I was away. I was also able to stream TV shows when I wanted to watch something. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were nice. The shower pressure was good too. It looks like they really have responded to reviews from previous guests to make this hotel even better. Would recommend.
Nice stay out of the way
Nice location abiut 10mins from Ubud centre. Free shuttle if you can adhere to a schedule or 70000 rupiah at anytime. Staff plesant. Nil issues. Room comfortable, cleanliness ok to Bali standard
perfect getaway from the crowds/tourists
my partner and i both wanted a relaxing holiday and this hotel nestled with in the rice fields in a small town was exactly that. The shuttles into town were great, however i chose to walk into town on the quieter streets and felt perfectly safe.
