too much pollution
Very heavy Pollution. The hotel is close to metro, street food and small grocery stores, most of them do not accept credit card, only cash. For the price it's good place to stay, nice staff
All the staff are really nice and super helpful. I would definately recomend this hotel. They also have 24 hour security which is also very good.
Close to the Center of the city with access to the Metro train to take you anywhere. Just about 3-4 blocks away. The hotel itself is small with limited amenities but if all you need is a place to sleep and shower, no doubt about this place. Wifi works. Laundry is limited. No dryer, must air dry. So if no sun, drying takes longer.
Junky injecting in the stairs
Everything was great accept the noise of cars and trucks beeping their horns in the morning. There is a lot of car traffic
Bad stay, left after initial night
Hotel clerk very rude and demanded her identification card. Hotel restaurant is terrible.
Hotel Conquistadores
He staff here were very friendly and helpful, you had to be buzzed in to enter. This is an old hotel, but clean. Not the best neighborhood, so no going out at night. Not far from several parks.
As I expected and perfect for what I needed...
I have visited Medellin many times and like to have a clean and secure place to stop in and shower or take a nap. It has a nice little restaurant for some local, basic, good eats for those staying there. The hospitality was excellent as the staff was friendly and helpful. The room is small and nothing fancy but depending on your purpose for the room and your expectations, it is an excellent choice and value.
It's Medellin
Room clean. Staff friendly, helpful. (Bed mattress a disaster.)
Fine very cheap hotel in old part of Medellin
Simple and cheap hotel in the old part of Medellin, close to Parque Berrio metro station and also minibus from the international airport. Typical low-cost hotel for locals, simple furnishing, no perks, but it does its work if you want to save money. Receptionist very helpful, room large enough, hot water there, no window ventilation but with fan it was sufficient. But in quite dangerous area, not very suitable to walk late in night. During the day the streets are full of vendors, noisy traffic, people, in the evening gets more of a dangerous feel. But very close to many attractions (Plaza Botero) in the old, real Medellin, not the tourist area of Poblado. Easy to find cheap eating options outside.
Surprising stay at Conquistadores hotel
The outside looking was't that inspiring but when you have your room it's not bad at all. Cable TV, internet, hot water, very clean and very quiet at night. I will recommanded that hotel for the quality price and perfect for a couple days in Medellin.
Great budget option in downtown
Budget hotel, well maintained and courteous. Situated downtown - near museums, metro, shopping, and hubbub. It's an edgy part of town after dusk, certainly feel more exposed than in other more tourist friendly parts of town. For me, though, it was brilliant.
Friendly assistance at the front desk, all in spanish. Busy downtown location with tipico food.
Alles war fantastisch
Freundliches budget Hotel in zentraler Lage.
Fue un lugar interesante para ver una cara de Medellín, pero es comprensible que alguna gente se asuste.
Les employées etaient toutes tres gentilles et tres serviables.
El Sitio bien aunque de noche el sector es peligroso, no aconsejó llegar de noche
Great
