Always perfect! Our home-away-from-home when in Montreal! So grateful!
Everything as promised.
Everything was as promised. Super friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely return.
Artsy, funky, unique room with great location
I really enjoyed my stay there. The art and decor are artsy and funky. The staff was helpful, friendly, and had everything ready for my arrival. They upgraded me for free and a soak in the jacuzzi after a long week of travel was amazing. The location is also great. I'll definitely consider this spot for the next time I'm in Montreal.
We had an excellent stay and will definitely come back!
Adorable couples getaway
Beautiful room with a Mexican vibe. Staff was friendly but hard to get a hold of. The bath tub was amaaaaazing, tons of hot water to fill it right up. Bed was super comfy and it was quiet. Right next to the metro as well, so easy access!
Very clean The front desk service is beyond amazing
..a choice place to stay in Montreal! Quiet, conveniently located (a short hop to the metro), and very nice rooms. upon arrival we were warmly greeted and provided with a lot of useful info on the city. all, all very good.
Our was clean and so cute! We were very happy with it and would definitely stay again!
Lovely place to stay in downtown Montreal. Will come back again and again.
Bathroom was in another room , no jacuzzi
Great stay!
A nice and very short stay. Staff was great and crazy close to the Bell Center, I hardly had to go outside to get to it. Highly recommend and will stay here again!
that jacuzzi was amazing. loved the room thank you
Unique decor
I loved it I kept saying “this is so cute, this is so cute !” I didn’t mind the kitchen being separate from the suite, the bedroom was decorated so amazingly and the bathroom so unique and colorful. Wish I stayed longer.
Beautiful place that is accommodated by a friendly staff.
Beautiful room, very clean— short walk to Bell Center—amazing breakfast !!
Very cute and comfy! The breakfasts were amazing and only a 3 mini walk to the metro. Would definitely stay here the next time we are in Montreal.
The suite is very cozy, well furnished, but lack in cleanliness. I found dirt on the surfaces around the sink, in the shower, in the mirror. The shower has a lot of mold and the floor is stained... that's really a shame. The door knob was wobbly and the window pane seemed to be easy to force open, it's not super safe. It seems like the cleaning was really fast. There is a common kitchenette. Very good idea, but it's not super clean. The parking is great with an access to the suite from the back alley. If it would be cleaner, I would definitely recommend, but as it is... no
Great location downtown, close to the Bell Centre. Breakfast was good, didnt notice the other breakfast options to the left, cereal, bagels, ect. until we left. We had the economy room, it was small but fine and suited our needs perfectly. Would definitely stay again
One of the best boutique hotels in my experience.
Great location but….
The main disappointing thing was the parking situation. Their lot was full and we were directed to a parking garage not too far away and were told it would cost about 20 CAD. However, because there was an event at the nearby Bell Centre, it ended up costing us 50 CAD.
Stylish and comfortable rooms.
Great location with unique rooms that are spacious and clean. Comfy bed and delicious breakfast.
Staff was friendly, room was very cute and homey. Location is excellent, the parking was full when we arrived but the concierge directed us to a secure parking garage less than 300m away that was $25 per 24 hours (not bad at all..) only issue we had was that the window directly in front of the bed was broken and could not be shut so we had to listen to the outside noises / emergency sirens / etc. all night long
We have loved this place since we first discovered it 15 years ago! We try to stay every time we come back to MTL.
We loved this property and our stay ❤️. Highly recommend!
All around great location and room. Staff very responsive to needs
This is the second time we've stayed here. It's a lovely, unique place to stay. Our room had a wonderful Jacuzzi tub and lovely little back balcony. We stayed on the third level, so there are a fair amount of narrow stairs. Not the easiest to get a bulky suitcase up, but my partner managed to do it. The subway station is less than a block away, so it's easy to get around the city from this location.
As everyone notes, decor stands out. We had Comfort Suite with 1 Queen bed & jetted tub on 2nd floor. Bed was very comfortable. Did not use tub. The shower with curved glass doors was perfectly adorable & functional, though a person with very large frame may find it tight. We had access to a balcony with seating though was not a private one like our neighbor's on same floor. Shared kitchen seemed fully stocked and functional, though we did not use. Stairs from parking in back are exterior & winding. So if that is too challenging, entry from the front of the building has straight, wide steps. However, as other noted, leaving vehicle unattended in front can get you ticketed. A little tricky getting to the lot out back since entry is from a one-way street perpendicular to house street. Read instructions from hotel carefully. If you go under railroad track underpass, you've gone too far, & do not turn right as it will put you on highway for quite a long ways. Our room faced tracks, but we never heard any trains at night or in the morning. We were out during day so don't know if anything goes by then. Do bring ear plugs as you may hear people on steps or rattling about house. Receptionist did greet us when we arrived during their regular staff hours in English. Checkout was noon (which we appreciated), but receptionist does not come in until 1pm. Not a problem for us. Breakfast staff did not appear to speak English much, but we managed with my rusty French.
This is a very old property although well maintained , I didn’t like the steps going up to the bathroom or the curtains hanging over the bathroom entrance. They both seemed to be fall risks. The bed was comfortable .
Charming, affordable, clean
A charming, affordable, clean room. A great place to stay during our brief visit.
It was very clean and a great home-like ambience.
In a sea of grey buildings and loud traffic, Auberge Les Bons Matins offers a pop of colour and an oasis of peace. Sam (manager) was a great help in finding our way there when Google failed us. The entire place is a delight - a far cry from the sterile big chain hotels. Beyond the charm of a well cared for heritage home the inn is painted in a cheerful array of colours and decorated with bright art work on every wall. Very "Montreal". It is walking distance to numerous entertainment venues and restaurants and is steps away from a bustling nightlife. A Metro station is, literally, right across the street if you want to explore more of Montreal. This is definitely on the top of list for places to stay in Montreal.
Lovely old property with character. We had a large suite with enough space and character
It was a fun property and glad we found it. Lots of personality and close to everything.
The family suite was beautiful, comfortable, well equipped and really nicely decorated. The only drawback was not having enough towels and bedding for 4, so make sure to check this as soon as you arrive.
Good location. Bathroom hard to find on arrival! Great breakfast.
Beautiful old home/hotel very close to downtown Montreal. The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable (think pensione-in-Italy-style accommodation). The only downside was the internal noise from the other rooms . The set up are bedrooms next to each other, so you can hear everything (including some guests who got up at 6 AM and were very chatty). I was tired and jet lagged so it interrupted my sleep, I would have preferred a quiet room where I could have slept uninterrupted. Other than that, the property is very unique and the staff were very friendly.
Eclectic romance
Such a nice place. Very close to everything and so convenient.
Great location, walkable to downtown Montreal and close to public transportation. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lower rooms are located under kitchen/dining room and hear early morning breakfast prep.
Very fun place and unique hotel. The people are very nice
The soaker tub in the room was super relaxing as I watch planet of the apes for my night and in the morning the breakfast at the cute little café was super delicious :) would recommend 10 out of 10
Excellent stay, loved the room and breakfast! Parking included was a hard plus. The women working there were very understanding of my poor French.
Great location, cute Auberge
We enjoyed our stay greatly! Near the subway, charming Auberge with everything you need. Microwave, real utensils in the room., keurig machine at the entrance in the hallway, etc.
The Auberge is always an excellent place to stay. Nice rooms, great breakfast and a super convenient location.
Fabulous little b & b
Loved it! Fabulous room. Delicious breakfast. Really helpful staff. Highly recommend.
I really wanted to like it but it needs work
The property is cool older building with eclectic decor. It was close to the Metro and other areas of interest. There was plenty of space and it was nice to have a kitchen space. The TVs were nice and had plenty of channels to distract the kids. Now to the issues... it should be noted that this place is NOT for anyone who has issues with stairs. Our room was two flights up and the stairs are steep and crooked. The unit we were in needed updating and was a bit tight in some spaces (like the bathroom). Also, we had trouble sleeping because there was an animal on the roof/ attic area trying to scratch its way in most of the night. Bring earplugs. We can't comment on the breakfast because we skipped it (the options were limited).
Comfortable bed. Clean room. Very homey with lots of character. Use of kitchen. Unfortunately we didn’t stay long enough to enjoy the restaurant or other amenities but will def book this hotel for future visits to Montreal.
Attractively decorated & very nice staff
We only had one night but we LOVED our stay! The bed was so comfortable, the colorful, artsy decor was exactly what we wanted. The bathroom French doors were delightful and the large outside balcony was awesome. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was even a communal kitchen if needed. We would definitely return.
Lovely, personal attention, great breakfast!
Had a great 2 nights staff was very helpful, breakfast was amazing and our room was so cute. We will definitely be back.
This is a lovely place to stay in Montreal. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. The staff is friendly. There is off street too.
I love the home like style.
A taste of home in Montreal
We really loved our stay at Auberge Les Bon Matins. The location was great...right by a Metro station. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby as well. The room, a family room, was very homey and comfortable and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.
LOCATION!!!! This was a super great location if you’re going to a concert at bell center or spending your visit downtown! Super cute stay very homey, super kind staff, helpful with anything needed and place was very clean ! Large balcony, and awesome amenities ! Will be back !
I always enjoy my stays here, in large part because of its charm and uniqueness. The exact opposite of a cookie-cutter chain hotel! The location right by the metro makes the whole city accessible quickly and easily, and much of what you want and need is only steps away.
Great place to stay. Fantastic and friendly staff, close to Metro, and comfy bed.
Unique buildings, balcony off room, kitchen available in builiding, great breakfast with lovely servers.
Location and general vibe can’t be beat.
Enjoyed our stay!
We would definitely stay again. Lots of road work around the property made things a little difficult but that wasn’t their fault I’m sure it will be sorted out shortly. Very cute place so close to the centre of everything.
It was a nice stay Loved the tub
Great spot, have stayed several times and will return.
Terrible stay
Would absolutely go back!
It was a unique little place. Not predictable.
This was an exceptional B&B experience. The location is amazing. Even though it's right in downtown Montreal it is very quiet. It's very close to the Metro station and a lot of great restaurants. Can't recommend it enough.
Cute set up. Ample room. Not built for top comfort
Decor and atmosphere was wonderful. Fantastic breakfast! We will definitely be returning. Pictures do not do justice.
Our rooms were beautiful and the beds were super comfortable. The B&B was right across the street from the metro making getting around easy. I would love to go back.
We had a fine stay at this property. The only issue is that we paid cash for breakfast one morning yet they still charged me. I’ve called twice for a refund and no one will get back to me.
The most charming hotel ever
Great location for an event at the Bell Center. Bed was terrible. We stayed on the bottom floor- not easy access. I would go back but would choose a different room.
Nice, clean property. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is excellent.
We booked 2 family rooms. They were huge and beautifully appointed. Very comfy beds, whirlpool, walk in shower, well equipped kitchen. Nothing not to like, and friendly folks. We’ll be back.
Quaint, friendly and helpful
Front desk was amazing. Very helpful since I forget to get international data and was without internet. Great vibe!
Would stay here again
Cute place, good location, friendliness staff, like my room, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel breakfast was also quite good. It is a unique property and be advised no elevator if you need one or have a lot of luggage. Also does have some off street parking
New favorite spot in Montréal
Walkable from train station, this adorable row of B&B was exactly what I needed for a night away; So close to Centre Bell. Quick and easy check-in. Room was clean, bed was beyond comfy. Loved the art, the exposed brick and lively paint colours. Coffee and tea available always. Breakfast was delicious. Looking forward to staying again.

A beautiful hotel in the heart of the old city. Very nice staff and very accommodating. I will definitely stay there again next time.
Everything was good - comfortable, clean with privacy, convenient parking. Breakfast was good, too. I would have appreciated having coffee available in the room, as well, but that’s a minor complaint. We enjoyed our stay!
Fine, wouldn’t stay again
Experience was overall fine, but I don’t think I would stay here again. Stayed in the Economy room with external bathroom, which I overlooked when I booked the room so won’t dock points for this - the bathroom is down the hall and requires you to walk by a few other rooms to get there. However the room and bathroom seemed unclean; the nightstands had sticky cup rings and crumbs, the floor didn’t seem clean, one of the bathroom shampoo bottles was already open. Parking was very difficult even after finding on their website that there’s a garage at the end of “guy street” it was still difficult to locate. Despite being labeled and bed and breakfast, breakfast is not included. The locks to the rooms are physical keys, and I do wonder if they change the locks after each person stays / the safety of that since it’s pretty easy to copy a key. On the good side, it’s in a great location that allowed us a 5 min walk to the Bell Centre.
The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was well appointed and cute. The location was convenient and charming. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
Dirty is too strong but it was not as clean as we expected ..the bathroom sink drained very slowly
Perfect Location
This was, by far, my most convenient hotel to stay in Montreal. The Metro is right across the street, giving access to Bell Centre, Place Ville-Marie, Place des Arts, etc. without going outside! Very convenient parking right behind the building and a shared kitchen for some cheaper options for meals made this quite economical. And access from the highways made it so easy to reach.
The room was so cozy and funky!
This is a true gem in the middle of Montreal. We could walk anywhere and the service was excellent. The breakfast in the morning is delicious and the staff are coutious and efficant. I loved the athmosphere and the kitchens charm. We felt in Europe. If your looking for a charming place, with quiet nights...this is the place. You have your own bathroom and balcony...this is great for a bed and breakfast. I will go back and I recommend it to anyone.
The room was beautiful and spacious, we enjoyed the jetted tub after a long day of exploring. The property is clean, there is limited parking onsite but if youre lucky enough to get a space there is a meteo station right across the road. We parked our car, got a pass and got around that way or by foot. Breakfast is very good, the western omelet is the best we have ever tasted and well worth the money. The front desk is not manned 24 hours which we knew before hand but we werent sure what to do about very noisy neighbours on our second night that kept us up until about 4 or 5 am. Not the properties fault at all but the walls are very thin and weekenda are very loud in the city. Overall a great stay and experience, the staff were very friendly.
The property is so central with great access to everything. All of the staff was helpful.
Weekend getaway
It is our third time staying at this beautiful location due to the excellent location and cool vibe. It was disappointing that it was difficult to sleep due to loud music and extremely loud talking coming from another room until 6:30am.
The staff were amazing! The room was incredible- loved the jetted tub and fire place. Breakfast at the inn was super delicious. The eggs Benedict and home made hot chocolate were top notch! The venue is across the street from the Metro. Amazing! Thank you Sam, Mia and the rest of the amazing team!
Rooms were unique and comfortable. Breakfasts were outstanding. Outdoor parking area was very convenient. Very close to restaurants on Crescent Street and St.Catherine street and Metro a block away. Very walkable to the Museum of Fine Arts. Highly recommended.
Main reason for the trip was to catch a hockey game. Its very close to arena.
What a unique place to stay! We loved the historical building and unique features of this B&B. Check in was easy, and we were grateful they were able to accommodate our early arrival. Our room was comfortable with all the amenities we would expect, even a kettle for making an evening tea. The bathroom was a bit tight on size but everything was very clean. The breakfast in the morning was lovely. The building was very quiet. The location could not have been better for attending a Canadien’s game at Centre Bell, and was a short drive from the sites of beautiful Vieux Montreal. We will stay again if our travels bring us back to Montreal.
The host and kitchen staff are lovely. Safe, clean, 5 minute walk to the Bell center which was ideal! Couldn't figure out parking but didn't think to call and ask in advance. Turns out there was some onsite but we parked at a garage a few blocks away. The road is under construction which made parking prior to check in interesting but it wasn't a deal breaker. Breakfast was 16/pp and yummy. Will be back!
The room was gorgeous, and smelled amazing upon arrival. My flight was delayed and I was concerned it would complicate the check in but it was incredibly easy! Breakfast was delicious and all the staff were incredibly kind!
Each room was very uniquely decorated. Lots of space for a family of four
Went into Montreal for a hockey game, perfect location and only 5 minutes to the Bell Centre.
We stayed here for new years and it was wonderful! The suite was so cute, lots of cozy and thoughtful touches. Easy check-in, helpful staff, we would absolutely come back!
