Clean, beautiful view

An older motel that has been updated. Clean, modern decor. Had a oeaceful feeling there. Bathroom was small, small shower. But for one night stay it was perfect. Just outside of Lunenburg. Ocean right across the highway ... what a view!

The room was in need of updating. Shower very old and very poor water stream. No hairblower.

The motel room was very good and the location was scenic and quiet. The only thing was the size of the bathroom, it was extra small. For it to be one foot bigger would be everything.

Not much sound proofing between rooms nor the bathroom. Fortunately we had great neighbours who went to bed early. Stunning views -

Motel has been renovated beautifully, near Anne of green gables park visitor center, owner very friendly and helpful

We stayed in one of the small cabins and enjoyed our view of the ocean from our front porch. The cabins are small but efficient and well appointed. We found the location quiet and very convenient for a short drive into Lunenburg for shopping and restaurants.

These immaculate little cottages are in a beautiful setting, and the staff is very nice. The bathroom was ridiculously tiny, and the kitchenette had no sink.

Clean, one of the most important things to me is cleanliness. This is the first time I would rate a stay 5 stars. Would definitely go back.

Clean and cozy cabins with a beautiful view of the ocean across the street. The bed was comfortable. It’s a quiet area and only about 5 minute drive to the town. The owner was very nice and helpful. We loved our stay. It would be a pleasure to visit again.

The area was clean and the room were clean. The staff was easy to deal with and there is parking in front of each room. The room could use a microwave but besides that everything was great :)

Very pretty area. Freshly painted, clean room. Comfortable bed. My only problem was there was no place to put a suitcase. I kept mine in the trunk and only brought in my toiletries and one change of clothes. But otherwise, it was great.

We enjoyed our motel room, two doubles, very bright and clean. The property has been recently renovated, in keeping with the east coast vibe, lovely ocean view and nature all around. Can enjoy quiet at the motel, and convenient drive to Lunenburg for all it has to offer. The owner, Marcus, is to be commended for bringing this motel and cabins back to life!

Room was so clean and cute, right by the water. Bed was comfortable and we had a great sleep! My only complaint was the man at the front desk was a little rude and not friendly at all upon our arrival. The other staff we interacted with were great though.

Great place to stay. Downtown. Walk to the Atlantic from your accommodations. Pleasant to deal with and stay there again

Great little motel close to everything & able to walk along the beach!

Loved that we were away from the business shops and restaurants of Lunenburg. The cabins were so lovely and private. Highly recommend this property.

We really enjoyed the little cottage we rented. It was very compact and well-designed to use the space effectively. (Of course an engineer would notice this.) It was clean and well kept. The location was peaceful and had a great water view and access to a rocky beach. It was close to town, so shopping, sightseeing, and eating were readily available. I employed a fishing guide and spent a day on a nearby lake catching smallmouth bass while my wife explored the area. I hope to return here in the future.

They provided me a shelter for two nights just like I needed. No question asked, just the way I like it.

Very quiet and peaceful location. Our room was spotless and had all the amenities for a long or short stay. We were assigned #2 in the motel section. Lovely view of the ocean in the distance.

Wish I could have stayed longer!!

We loved the beautiful view from our front door, the deer that grazed in the yard and the quiet. I'd stay there again and would recommend it to others who might be staying for the Folk Festival or simply visiting Lunenburg.

Older motor court type motel. It has been nicely and tastefully updated. Easy walk to the beach. It had a beautiful view of the water and pond in the back.

Was a great experience.

Our cottage was tiny. The very small toilet sink is the sink for washing dishes. No stove, pot or pan in the kitchenette. Tiny shower for small people only. Nice eating table, nice porch, beautiful ocean view. We expected more for the price we paid.

Good base to explore the areas around Lunenburg and Mahone Bay.

Fabulous quiet location.

A fabulous location , but you really need a car! Marcus the owner kindly drove us into Lunenburg and we were able to get a taxi back with Bobby who is the main very friendly taxi driver. The motel room is very modern and comfortable, and with a lake at the back and the sea at the front it is a really idyllic place to stay.

This little hotel is an absolute gem! We were pleasantly surprised to find a great Scandinavian decor room with an unbelievable waterfront view out a large back picture window. The new air conditioning unit was whisper quite and comfortable during a blazing heat wave. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel is situated an an area of fabulous natural beauty with trails, which was wonderfully quite and peaceful yet convenient to Lunenburg. The drive or walk into Lunenburg along the bay affords a spectacular view of the harbour.

Great value & view was lovely. Just a short hop away to the historic harbor & downtown.

My 4 nite stay was in a single queen cottage. It had full ammenties, kitchenette with small appliances/kitchen wear, sink etc. There’s a cute little porch with adirondack style bench seat, as well a BBQ with shared picnic table area. Although not used during my stay, there was a communal firepit surrounded by adirondack seating. The shower was quite small, but adequate. I would definitely recommend and would stay again👍

Loved this place. Right on the water, beautiful porch to enjoy. Lovely grounds to enjoy only 1.5-2 mi to the center or Lunenberg

This property was as advertised. It was a nice motel, clean and comfortable ,but there was very limited outlets in the room, which made it difficult to charge our phones and use the coffee pot. There wasn't a microwave available, which was disappointing.

Great stay in Lunenberg

Went to Lunenburg to see the Blue Nose. Markus, the host, was very helpful. The room was impeccably clean and functional. Hotel location is perfect. I will stay there again when in Lunenburg.

Cutest little cottage near the water

This was the cutest little cottage room! We spent 2 nights here while visiting Lunenburg. The cottage was newly updated and clean, complete with tv, microwave, bar fridge, dishes/cutlery, and table & chairs. It’s a bit removed from the town which is great for relaxing, but to visit town you need to drive. The only drawback is that the shower stall is very small, but that is totally expected for a tiny cottage room like this. We had a front porch and there is a shared fire pit area. The owner is friendly and welcoming, I highly recommend this charming spot.

Our host was very nice and the property beautiful. We had everthing we wanted or needed. A must to stay in.

A peaceful little cottage with access to a quiet beach.

This adorable little property is very nice. We were greeted by staff, checked in easily. The room was clean, the WIFI adequate for our needs, and amazingly, we had a small microwave, fridge and even a small dining table. Bathroom and showers were good. We didn’t try the TV. A nice porch to sit outside on and enjoy the ambiance. We will stay here again.

Enjoyed this clean place

The owner/ manager is rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. The beach pictured is not a sand beach, but a rocky beach with water that has scum on it. The bathroom is tiny with a prefab shower that has very little room for shampoo, etc.

Excellent location, across street from a beach and a pretty Lily pond behind. Stayed in one of the motel rooms. Nice decor, looks newly done. Very comfortable space. Fresh ground coffee provided for a 4 cup coffee maker versus the horrid pods, a really nice appreciated touch. Picnic tables and benches outside for sitting. Great proximity to Lunenburg Old Town and coming and going to visit the area.

Loved..loved …loved sitting and sipping while enjoying the birds and treasured views of the water. A cute and cozy spot!

Loved the setting, the cleanliness and space this place offered. Wished we could have stayed longer!

Area was beautiful and nice and quiet. Staff was friendly and engaging. It was very clean and tidy and the only minor complaint was the smaller than normal bathroom.

Our host was kind, friendly, informative. He did all of the renovations himself, having turned a tear down type property into a lovingly updated place. It is situated between a river on one side and a cove of the ocean on the other.

The small cottages were very clean and suited our needs.

This property is off the beaten track and is serene and quiet. Our room had a large window in the front with a view of the bay and a large window in the back with a lovely view of a marsh pool and woods. The room furnishings were tasteful and simple. This is a place where you can rest and unwind but is within easy driving distance to all the sites of Lunenburg.

Property is really updated in the rooms and the bed is comfortable. Don’t sleep on this place. It’s a great stop. And they have the best cat!!!

Good spot for access to Lunenburg

This is a very unique area of Lunenburg - very close to the town so easy to get to. The accommodations were fine - looks like a recent update to the inside of our motel room with new bathroom. All was clean and tidy. Internet did NOT work nor was it explained on registration. Had to go back twice to figure it out but it never connected - was told it was hurricane related but there was a locked site that we should have had access to instead of the 'guest' site. Looks like a one-man operation so must be difficult to maintain. Beach was not clean due to hurricane and no intention made to do so until end of season Firepit also not operation so nothing to 'do' at the actual spot - need to go into the town Beds need a better mattress or perhaps a box spring as we did not sleep well on the hard surface. Good for a one-night stay

Cute renovated old-style motel - bright rooms with huge windows front and back. Very quiet, close to a beach you can walk along, a short drive or a longer walk into town - the brewery and The Knot pub particularly close and both worth a visit.

A beautiful clean property looking out to the Bay just around the point from Lunenberg. Highly recommend staying here. We would suggest pa microwave for the motel rooms. We had a fridge but no microwave.

Wonderful off-the-beaten-path setting only a few miles from Lunenburg. A combo of motel rooms and brightly colored cottages. The room and grounds were spotless and appears to be recently updated. A comfortable bed and nice bedding and water views from both sides of the room. The big fire pit was a nice place to gather for the guests. Would come back!

Very nice area off the beaten track. Drove past the property and saw lots of deer in the area. Basic room is tiny and has a mini fridge and coffee maker. Only the cabins have kitchen facilities, which we were thinking we would get from the pictures What we got was clean and very nice

Loved the windows on both sides of the rooms. Made for a really bright room. Beds super comfortable. Bathroom very small but fine for me but my 6’5 husband has a hard time in shower especially. Terrible internet but that wasn’t what we were there for anyway.

Nice clean room. Quiet area and close to amenities.

The property is a good location, close to town but outside enough that makes it very country.

It was very clean and quiet. The only drawback was that there was no kitchen sink or stove, and only a mini fridge. I didn't realize this when booking. It was very inconvenient for preparing meals and doing dishes. The smaller cottages are really just basically a motel room.
