Overall this is a pretty good hostel to stay in considering the price. The view from the rooftop bar is incredible and everything inside was super clean. All of doors to the rooms are keycard access so no one can wonder in. There’s also a nice social space on the 1st floor. The area around the hostel is not the safest or cleanest place to stay in Athens; however, I never had any issues walking around by myself. There were some guys staying at another hostel (I believe it was north of this one) who saw multiple people at night shooting themselves up so be aware of that. My main complaint is that the bunk room I stayed in was extremely hot. I understand that there are AC regulations in the city and it was July but even when it was on it felt like it did nothing. I was constantly sweating through the whole night. I never went into anyone else’s room so I’m not sure if it was a hostel wide problem. I also did not ask the staff about it because I was not staying long. So be aware of that if you’re sensitive to temperature. Despite that, I would still stay here again but hopefully in room with better AC.

Great location but everything costs money. There was no shampoo or body wash in the showers, no towels were included, and the lock required buying instead of a deposit.

The staff were really great, the room was larger and more comfortable than I had expected which was great (I took a private room with a private shower). However the street the hostel is on was terrifying, filled with groups of immigrant men lurking around at all hours of the day and night. It was also incredibly noisy during the one night I stayed there as people filled the streets to celebrate some world-cup nonsense until 3AM, honking car horns, shouting and shooting fireworks. The area just up the road towards the main square has a lot of police presence, so if you're traveling solo, it is worth spending a bit more on one of the larger hotels right on the square, especially if you are a woman solo traveler. I literally had to take a taxi for just 400 meters as it was too dangerous to walk to the hostel after sundown, the Greek taxi driver walked me to the door and told me not to come out alone at night. That says a lot

Great place for a quick stopover in Athens. Friendly staff and pretty solid facilities.

Had to leave early, but the staff was extremely kind and the atmosphere was friendly and accommodating.

It was good and for most part friendly, difficult to make new friends because everyone want to go alone or has to a take a flight!!! ,cold room at night remember I went in the winter, Lovely bartender gurl and pet ❤️. The Neighborhood could use a clean up and more security....

Im recommended

The location does not feel the safest but it is a short walk to a few very nice streets. I met amazing people there and the rooftop bar views and drinks were very reasonable. Overall a great experience.

Stuff are very nice, helpful, and responsive.

Safe and clean

The hostel was very nice but the neighborhood is very ghetto, twice I was a pick pocket target less than 2 blocks from the hostel.

The hostel was ok, very clean and comfortable. The area a little is a little sketchy so move with haste and a destination in mind, I wouldn’t linger for too long. The staff was fairly nice and helpful. During my visit there wasn’t a lot of travelers there so the ambience was much more quiet and laidback. For me a 7/10

Staff is absolutely useles. Waste of money

Total waste of my money. They give you a complementary drink on the house that literally tastes like cough drops, not worth it. I stayed because it was closer to an interview I had and this place was closer. 2 people decided to have sex in a room shared with outher 8 ppl and the hostel does absolutely nothing, despite I complained twice, they just looked and said 'oh sorry'. They have rules in their website, absolutely useless because obviously no one cares. The street in which it's located is not safe fot women going alone. Try to spend a little bit more money and go to some place that's in a better sector.

Interesting hostel

Weird & ghetto location, felt like Afghanistan not Greece. But hostel was good.

Rooftop bar

Clean, friendly staff, inexpensive, close to the acropolis, the best part may be the rooftop bar. Had a blast. Will definitely return.

Excellent stay

Love the pool table, common area and roof top bar! Made friends easily and the location is perfect for seeing enough on foot. Very friendly staff, comfortable clean rooms

Good hostel

It was a really nice hostel, with a lot of options inside the hostel, the rooftop bar was amazing, the room it’s very big and had two bathrooms, that was really nice.

A large hostel

Liked the white linen sheets.Big chillout area with massive TV.Bar up on roof terrace extremely busy on a Saturday night. It's not that near the metro station.

The hotel is in a very unsafe area. The staff is very nice and the property is very clean. However, the asked me to pay 2 Euros for towels . Even though I paid 4 Euros for breakfast that I would not use

Hostel itself was pretty great. Nice bar area with a patio. The major and significant downside was the immediate area of the hostel -- it just felt very unsafe (especially at night)

GREAT HOSTEL (HOTEL) AND VALUE FOR MONEY!!

Totally renovated Hostel that feels more like a HOTEL! Amazing facilities and value! WE stayed in a double private ensuite room which had a balcony and it was amazing! Happy to return and stay! RE the neighbourhood - YES, there are some unsavoury characters that hang around on the streets close to the hotel HOWEVER, when leaving the hotel if you turn LEFT after exiting the building you do not need to pass through this area of town (the same goes when returning to the hostel - return from the PIREOS St end and you will have no problems. Wont hesitate to return next time I am in Athens.

Nice clean property with good beds. In a sketchy area, but ten mins walk to the metro to connect with the train to the airport

Perfect located!

On a bien aimé son emplacement. Tout peut se faire à pied. Seul hic, hôtel jeune. Presque une auberge de jeunesse....donc, vu l'emplacement de notre chambre(juste en face de lescalie4), durant toute la nuit, il y avait des gens qui parlaient fort...l'escalie4), dur

It was really central, we could walk everywhere in the city easily. Also, there is an elevator and amazing rooftop bar, that offers 360* view of Athens.

Das Personal war wirklich freundlich an der Rezeption. Der Bartender aka DJ hingegen absolut stur. Ich ziehe Punkte ab, weil ich auf vieles im Urlaub verzichten kann, aber nicht auf Schlaf. Wer hier bucht muss wissen daß die Musik von der Bar auch mal bis 3 Uhr Morgens durchs Hostel bummert. Es wird hier definitiv nicht auf Ruhe geachtet. Schulklassen übernachten hier und die schreien auch mal Nachts auf den Fluren rum. Nach einem anstrengenden Sightseeing Tag möchte man nicht auf dem Kissen liegen und Techno Bass hören. Das Mindeste was ich von einer Übernachtungsstätte erwarte ist nächtliche Ruhe vor allem vom Personal. Die Bar befindet sich im 1. Stock. Um wenigstens etwas Ruhe zu bekommen muss man Nachts ständig an der Rezeption anrufen. Sehr schade. Der Private Room war wirklich toll und sauber. Aber ohne Schlaf nützt das nix 🙁

Weekend in Athens

Very good position: the hotel is 10 minutes walk from the centre of Athens. We were in a double room with private bathroom that was very comfortable. Very good cleaning and staff was very available.

Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt und den super Service. Freundliches hilfsbereites Personal, tolles Frühstücksabgebot. Saubere Duschen und Toiletten. Rundum angenehm und sehr zu empfehlen.

Hostel olarak özel banyolu oda seçmiştik, temizlik ve oda büyüklüğü iyi ve yeterliydi. Sadece olduğu sokak genel olarak biraz ürkütücüydü ama bir sorun yaşamadık. Otelin lokasyonu gayet iyiydi.

Bien situé

L'hôtel est bien situé pour les visites à pieds ou en transports publics. Il est propre et bien entretenu. Par contre mon dos se souvient de la literie qui doit être changée. Les linges de bains et les draps de lits n'étaient pas propres. Le personnel est en règle général très gentil et serviable. Par contre, le jour de notre départ nous devions quitté l'hôtel à 8h00 et le petit déjeuner n'était pas prêt alors qu'il est sensé l'être pour 7h30. J'ai eu beau demandé, cela leur était bien égal que je doive partir sans avoir pris le petit déjeuner. C'est donc au pas de course que j'ai du aller prendre un café dans un bar du quartier. Le bar sur le toit offre une vue incroyable

Die Lage und die Dachterrasse waren hervorragend, das Personal sehr freundlich, aber es war auch sehr laut im der Nacht. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und sehr günstig. Wir kommen wieder!

Die Unterkunft ist top renoviert, in toller und super zentraler Lage. Unser Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad war besser als in den meisten Hotels! Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich!

Value for Money. Fun Place!

Large, recently renovated hostel in a colourfull neighbourhood just a few blocks FR"!"o"m Monastiraki bars & nightlife, restaurants & shopping. Clean dorms & private rooms with balconies & sun-terraces, a communal kitchen, bar-lounge with billiard and a computer work-station. Friendly staff, international travellers. Recommended.

Nice place

Хостел действительно неплохой за эту цену. Это первый хостел, в котором я видела такую большую зону отдыха - столовую с бильярдом, шахматами и т.п. и даже баром, в котором каждый вечер работал бармен и обслуживал постояльцев. А еще давали купон на welcome drink в первую ночь. Также предлагался прекрасный завтрак, вполне достойный отеля 3-4 звезды. Я не брала завтрак, так как была своя еда, но выглядело все прилично. Что касается кухни, то она достаточно грязная. Именно в этом хостеле почему-то большинство не моет за собой посуду и все кидают в раковину. Плита и столы грязные, постоянно готовят иммигранты в больших кастрюлях и плита всегда занята, кастрюль не хватает, ножей нет вообще, кружки почти никогда не найти. Здесь продукты не подписывают, как в других хостелах, просто ставят в холодильники. Холодильники большие, стеклянные, но контроля нет - выпили мое молоко и съели йогурт. Неудобная система занимания любой свободной кровати: дают бирку с которой ты должен занять кровать в комнате, но ты можешь оставить бирку и вещи, а потом на эту кровать кто-то ляжет. Ну вот почему нельзя дать каждому человеку кровать с номером? Душевые ничего, вполне чистые, но с душем беда - все души не имеют шланга, подача воды только с потолка, но все дырки в лейке засорены и льётся все в разные стороны слабыми струями. Мыться крайне неудобно. Также кровати в целом комфортные, но есть щель между стеной и кроватью. Если вы вверху, но все будет падать вниз. И нужно иметь замок для шкафчика свой.

Super fedt

Dårlig opplevelse av hele oppholdet.

Kom til hostellet sent på kvelden, de fant ikke min reservasjon av rommet sa de. Hadde bestilt for lenge siden og de sa at de hadde renovert i mellomtiden og at rommene var blitt mye dyrere. Så det ente med etter en times krangling og 26 Euro fattigere så fikk vi et rom. Hadde da betalt 27 Euro tidligere ved reservasjonen. Ikke til å annbefale og ikke et bra område for unge mennesker, et innvandrerområde i Athen. Hadde bestilt tre netter etter øyhoppingen vår også, den kansellerte jeg og fikk pengene fort inn på kontoen igjen etter kort tid. Heldig vis i regime av Hotells. com, men fikk ikke noen oppdatering fra Hotells på noen måte.
