Fabulous as usual

We have been returning to this place for years. We always have a wonderful experience. Since our last stay (pre-covid), the reception area and the restaurant have been remodeled. And the breakfast buffet selection is now even better than before. As always, the staff have been amazing. In some respects, this is a simple place, for example don't expect fancy toiletries, but the location, cleanliness and service is first class. Thank you for another fantastic stay!

Nice room, nice service, well located. a bit noisy tough, given that there are bars at proximity, and for some reason among the tourists visiting Prague there is a lot of young men who like to shout a lot.

What I liked about the property that the rooms were very very spacious for being a standard and economical room -never felt cramped in the room -the location was perfect, very close to the heart of things, but a block or two away so you were not in the thick of things and the noise. The front desk staff were very courteous and friendly the morning breakfast was it ample and delicious.

The location of the hotel is excellent. All the tourist spots are close by. Don’t expect too much of amenities in the hotel. Coffee/tea making facilities are not there in the room. The early morning coffee is quite a task to locate in the adjoining area. Room size is OK. However bathrooms are a tight fit. Staff are friendly and helpful. The approach to the hotel is through a cobbled alley. The taxi stops about 50 metres away. Be ready for a bumpy ride for your suitcases

Nice hotel in a fabulous location in Old Town

We loved the hotel, cleanliness, friendly staff, fabulous location. Only issue we faced was unstable internet in our room. We brought it to their notice. It needs to be fixed with a booster as signal was very weak in our room number 32. Free WiFi works flawlessly in Prague restaurants, buses, trains. Hotel should fix this. If they do that, I would rate them 5/5.

Not Customer Friendly

We were told there would be air conditioning in our room and laundry facilities inside the hotel before we booked our room. When we arrived the air conditioning was working in the hallways of the hotel, but it was shut off in our room where it felt very hot and humid. I asked the front desk for the remote to the air conditioning unit in my room and they said they would bring it to my room. I left the room with my wife for six hours and when I returned the remote to the air conditioning was still not in my room. I asked the front desk for the remote again and they told me they would not slow me to turn on the air conditioning. I asked them if they had a laundry facility or laundry services and they told me they did not. I later saw in a cabinet in my hotel room an advertisement and price list for a laundry service at the hotel. The inside of my hotel room had either mold or mildew. Bottom line... if you come from an English speaking country they will treat you like a second class human being. DO NOT STAY HERE.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff was very accommodating. Location of the hotel was very convenient to everything. Although we at first had difficulty looking for the hotel since the hotel name is written in Czech, we were glad to know that it's very centrally located. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

This hotel located in the heart of Old Town is a hidden gem. Very nice way to use a 17th century building! Even though in the center of the city it was quiet at night even with the jazz band (jazz bar in basement) playing! Rooms were large enough and there was air conditioning the first few days when it was hot. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. It’s within walking distance of most of the main sights and bars and restaurants. B'fast in the morning was pretty good. Overall for the price we paid you could not ask for better!!!!

At The Old Lady is a quaint small hotel. Breakfast was descent, room was small, bed was very hard. You can't beat the location, though, it was hard to find. Overall, I would give it a 3 out of 5 and a good rating

You cannot beat this location. We spent a week here and were in close walking distance to the Old Town Square, Wenceslas square and everywhere else. Signing up for day tours is right near by or in the hotel. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION (Good price also.) Our room was so quiet we never new there were other people in the hotel until we came to breakfast and saw everyone else. You can't beat that. Decent enough variety for the breakfast every morning.

Good hotel in perfect location

The hotel was in a perfect location in a quiet road but the Old Town Square and bus stops only 3-5 minutes walk away. Two good restaurants very close - the Deer and the Monk, We were looked after well at the hotel which had good WiFi connection. Prague is a beautiful and clean city.

In the heart of Prague

At The Old Lady, is a lovely hotel in the very heart of Old Town, close to all attractions. Our room was spacious and clean, although my husband kept hitting his head on the sloped ceiling! (He should have learned after the first time.) The reception staff were helpful and friendly. Our only negative is the breakfast which was inedible.

Terrific location for quick visit

Overall hotel very nice. Perfect location. Beds and pillows a bit thin but the place is kept very nice and clean and staff is friendly. Only complaint was that we were there during a heatwave and knowing European AC we purposely left on when we went out to tour so room would be cool for sleeping. Cleaning staff turned it off and we could not get the room cool enough to sleep well that night.

Really nice if not a touch basic, modern and updated bathroom with separate WC. Ample storage and a mini fridge. Go here for the location above all else. Right in the centre of the old town.

Nice, small hotel in Prague’s Old Town

Spent 3 nights at the Old Lady. Room was comfortable, A/C worked ok, nice shower. We were on the back side so the nights were quiet. Breakfast was included and we took advantage each morning. Decent selection, but not abundant and things get picked over. The location is excellent for exploring Prague’s Old Town. The staff is friendly and helpful. We never heard any noise from the music club in the basement. Very good WiFi in the room and cafe. Great small place and we certainly recommend Dum,U Stare Pani.

Good, not great

Our stay at The Old Lady was pleasant but not particularly special. The room and bathroom were both small and the breakfast, while good, was not outstanding. One complaint was that the hotel's web site said they had laundry facilities (we were midway through a 2-week trip and needed to do laundry) but they didn't. There was also music playing in the hotel's restaurant until close to midnight, which was less than ideal. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel's location is fantastic.

Clean hotel in a great location

This hotel is walking distance to everything! The staff for the most part was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely staff there the next time I'm in Prague.

We arrived early and they were able to store our bags so that we could start a tour that we had booked. Upon return, the room was ready. The staff very nice and able to accommodate requests that we had. The breakfast was good. We were told to get there early, since they do not always refill it, this was not the case this time, items were refilled when low. The shower was a little awkward (the ceiling above it came down at an angle). The location was close to the Old Town and was near many restaurant's. The overall stay was GREAT!

Best Surprise

Arrived late and we were being waited for since the front desk is jot 24 hours. The room was large and comfortable with a separate sitting area. Very comfortable bed - loved the pillows. Clean. Good breakfast- European with many options. Great location- very safe area 2 minute wak from Old Town Square. Lots of night life around. Staff was extremely helpful and nice.

Amazing location

So close to so many attractions, very friendly and helpful staff, decent room with air conditioning. Even includes parking for an extra fee and accommodated our dog at the last minute. Highly recommend!

Great little hotel.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was very clean and quiet. I think the location is excellent with about a 5 minute walk from the atomic clock and maybe a 10 minute walk to the river and Jewish quarter. Subway and streetcars are also nearby. I'd stay there again. Nice breakfast included in the attached restaurant.

A week in Prague

U Stare Pani is a charming hotel in a nearly perfect location if you want to explore the Old City of Prague. Staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was hearty. Keep in mind this is a very European hotel. Platform beds, not inner-spring mattresses. A queen bed is two singles side by side. We had a small suite on the third floor (Room 35) and found it perfect for our needs. It was very quiet all but one night. Prague continues to attract a young party crowd more interested in cheap beer than the sights. Bachelor and bachelorette parties are commonplace on Friday and Saturday and can result in some drunken carousing in the streets. Several nice little restaurants/cafes along the same street.

Everything was perfect! I especially appreciate the staff...so helpful and made sure we were all set up for our stay before our arrival.

Helpful Hotel Staff

At the Old Lady was welcoming and comfortable for a solo traveler. The staff went out of their way to assist me in getting to some of the less touristy areas on my agenda, and were very warm.

Though the hotel may be a bit difficult to locate at first, it is actually very convenient yet quiet. Shower room is a little tight.

Good location hotel

Hotel was in a great location in the old town and within easy walking distances of most of the sights to see. Plenty of very good restaurants nearby. Room was a bit small with little space to open bags and beds were firm. Front desk was excellent, particularly Jitka who was especially helpful. Recommend a nearby restaurant V cipu and you want to order the pork knuckle.

Very efficient and helpful staff all with very good English. Excellent breakfast which set you up for the day. Nice size room with great shower. Staff always available. The hotel has a friendly family feel about it and we Would definately stay there again.

Good experience

Hotel is in a great location in Prague, right in the heart of old town. Most staff were very nice and helpful (with the exception of one, who probably was having a bad day). Room wasn't ready when we arrived at 6:00 pm -- something about they expected only two people (we were four: two adults and two kids) -- even though we specified that in the online reservation. We came back around 7 and it still wasn't ready, but the woman at the desk hussled and made the beds. We ended up with a room better than the one we expected. It had two bedrooms instead of a pull out bed for the kids. Breakfast was yummy. We had difficulty with the tub/shower, that is, you have to sit in the tub and use the hand held shower nozzle to bathe, but mostly because my partner is 6 foot 1 and had to transform into a pretzel to use it. The hotel does get a bit of the noise from the partying that goes on all night, but overall it wasn't too bad. Other than that, it was great.

We enjoyed our stay last year so much, we came back this year. There are two suites in this hotel. They are both nice, but the one we got this year was even better than the last one, more spacious and had a bathtub. Considering the location and the free breakfast it's a great deal, even in season. Since we are travelling with kids we like the fact they can have their own room here. You can hear some drunk tourists in the streets at night but it's very bearable. Our suite appeared to be recently remodeled and had an efficient AC unit as well. The breakfast buffet was great, no complaints whatsoever. The staff was very friendly and helpful. For a fairly standard price the hotel provided car service got us to the airport by 6 am without a hitch. I recommend this place to all my friends now.

It is a good hotel with best value and central location. Only three-minutes to the central square of Pragure. High recommend !

Great little hotel on Old Town

Due to plane delays we had to reschedule our rides three times. They were so helpful and made the start to our trip easy. Very accommodating.

Perfect hotel, will book again!

This hotel is likely the best situated hotel I have booked in Prague. Clean, with friendly staff and great continental breakfast. Located in the center of the old city. Right next street is a farmers market and close by is a supermarket. Lots of restaurants, shops and coffee houses.

Excellent, we'll run hotel

We were met by the owner, Wendy, who insisted on helping us with the luggage, showing us the room and it's amenities, etc. lovely furniture, sparkling clean. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Restaurant always full at dinner; we ate excellent meals, very reasonable, at V Cipu down the street to the left. 2-3 blocks from old town square. Nightly entertainment in basement bar/cafe, free for guests.

The location of this hotel was fantastic and the front desk staff were extremely helpful. As it turns out, I accidentally double booked for this hotel and the front desk staff were not only quick to mention it to me but also helped in contacting the websites and rectifying the matter in a very efficient and timely fashion.

Lovely stay

We had a fantastic stay right in the heart of Prague. It's very easy to walk to all of the main attractions from the hotel, and the room was very nice. Breakfast was also delicious. Parking was a bit inconvenient, but the hotel staff helped us figure it out (for 30 EUR per night, though).

A gem in the heart of Prague

Great place to stay right in the heart of Prague. You'll get some late night noise from the nightlife, and parking is quite pricey, but apart from that the rooms were great and the breakfast was fanstastic

The hotel is located in the middle of everything, you can go to the main attractions just walking. The area is super safe even late at night. They arranged my pick up at the airport and then the took me there again. The rooms are nice, great staff, nice hotel. I would recommend it to everyone.

A gem in the heart of Prague

This is a wonderful little place in the narrow historic streets of downtown Prague. It is literally a 2-minute walk from the Old Town Square. Make sure you have a map before you go out, at least on the first day :). It can be tricky to find your way back, especially after the passages close for the night. The room was comfortable, quiet and much nicer than in the pictures. From check-in to checkout the staff was very helpful and friendly, we could not have wished for more. We had to leave very early for the airport and they had a bag of food ready for us to take since we were to miss the free breakfast buffet. We also used the hotel provided taxi as it was reasonably priced. This is a lovely place I would definitely recommend, but make sure you come for breakfast early as the buffet does not seem to be replenished (even 45 minutes before the closing)and the cleanup is very slow too.

Awesome hotel!

My stay was awesome! The name of the hotel three me off a bit and I didn't know what to expect. When I got there I was pleasantly surprised. I had a huge room that was super cute, clean and set up like an apartment. The bed was queen size and super comfy! I was minutes from the square and across from many restaurants, shops and the market.

The hotel has a great location. Short walk to the old town, the square, Charles bridge. The hotel reception is manned 24 hours and the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. I will gladly stay here again if I ever visit Prague again.

Very disappointed that there was

Very disappointed that there was NO AIR CONDITIONING. This was a chief factor in our choosing this hotel. Fortunately weather not too hot - but would have been unbearable - west facing room - in high summer. Also darker curtains would have been better than light yellow, for keeping out morning sunshine!

Väldigt prisvärt hotell mitt i gamla stan! Helt okej frukost. Stora rum, hade soffa och bord med två stolar. En liten smal balkong som vi iallafall kunde gå ut och stå på. Ac på rummet. Gillade att toaletten och duschen var i separata rum. Vi blev positivt överraskade av hotellet och gillade det väldigt mycket! Bilden är på utsikten från balkongen.

I wasn't sure where to stay in Prague but U Stare Pani was eventually an amazing choice. The room was very spacious and had AC, a beautiful view over a courtyard with classic orange roofs, and was always quiet whatever the noise from the street side. The buffet breakfast was simple yet diverse, and I especially liked the professional-grade coffee machine. Staff was very servicable and got my clothes to the laundry once (expect around 8 euros for a full bag). I didn't recall Prague being such a small city but almost every attraction was nearby. The hotel is basically located in the heart of the old town. There is even a bicycle rental shop just under the arch you can see when stepping outside. The restaurant was only open to group reservations, but some amazing dining places like Café Louvre (my favorite restaurant), Lehka Hlava (rare vegan) and La crème de la crème (most popular ice-cream shop?) were only 5 minutes on foot. I will definitely stay there again next time, since it wasn't more expensive than other places while I'm sure I can have relaxing nights thanks to the quietness (ask for a courtyard room if it matters for you) and the AC.

部屋の清潔度はまあまあ。 欧米なのでスリッパは必須です。 部屋も広くて、コンセントもたくさんあって便利でしたがなぜか、洗面所のコンセントが使えなく鏡のない部屋でドライヤーを使う羽目に。ドライヤーがクローゼットの中にしまってあったのはそのためでしょうか。ちなみに、「ドライヤー（要リクエスト）」とあったので、メールでリクエストしたら、全部屋に設置してありますという回答。トイレとシャワーは別々で快適。バスタブはなし。 ゴミ箱がペダル式で洗面所にしかないのがすごく不便でした。エアコンもありましたが、リモコンがなかったので温度調整は自動なのでしょうか。真冬の1月に泊まりましたが、二重窓で暖房をつけなくても寒くなく快適。寝巻は、ヒートテックシャツにフリースの上下という格好で。さすがヨーロッパの建物。 朝食は、基本的なものが一通り揃っているという程度で選択肢はないので楽しめないかな。部屋のミニバーも、ミネラルウォーターまで有料という残念な設定。 スタッフはフレンドリーというか、素人っぽくて逆に緊張しないで済んだ（笑）。入り口もレセプションからエレベーターまでの間にドアがあり、夜間はカードキーがないと入れないので安全だと思います。 ちなみに、At The Old Ladyとはどこにも書いてないので、 ホテルの外観を覚えてないと少し迷います。ドアも重たかったので、鍵が閉まっていると思い少しウロウロしてしまいました。 概して旧市街や観光地にとても近く、お手頃なホテルとしておすすめです。

Hotel je nově vybavený, dobře udržovaný a čistý. To, co mělo být k snídani teplé, bylo teplé. Co mělo být čerstvé, bylo čerstvé. Ovšem rohlíky byly vhodné jen na strouhanku.

5 min Fussweg zum Marktplatz/ Stadtmitte aber trotzdem sehr ruhig in einer kleinen Seitenstraße gelegen. Dss Frühstückbufett bietet alles was man braucht. Obst, Salat, Marmelade, Müsli, verschiedene warme Eierspeisen und warme /kalte Wurst. Gerbatener Schinken, verschiedene Brot und Brötchensorten
