Everything was wonderful. We arrived quite early on our flight and the staff did everything possible to get us in our rooms as soon as possible. The one item that was probably not as excellent as the rest would be that the shower did not drain as quickly as we had hoped and flooded the bathroom.

Stayed overnight for a morning flight the next day. My previous accommodation from Raja Ampat, dropped me off too early at this hotel, so I had nowhere to go (a lot of stores are closed on Sundays) But the front desk helped me to check in early! Totally helped A LOT!! Thank you thank you! You also have to try the Javanese massage and scrub with Yanti in their spa. It was perfect after a long day of transferring and moving. I feel refreshed, especially my skin! The breakfast is more on traditional Indonesian food, but it was all tasty and good.

Very comfortable hotel. Clean ,very good food in restaurant and breakfast...best if all. The hotel Staff ,especially at reception and concierge.. Close to airport.

Do we we needed a hotel close to the airport as we were only in Sorong for 1 night so it was lovely surprise to fine that this hotel was fabulous. Great rooftop bar, restaurant and general facilities. Would highly recommend

Aston was expensive, but well worth the comfort, cleanliness, service, location and breakfast.

Good but needs some improvements for guest comfort and health safety. Air conditioners were not working at the entertainment lounge, and in the suite room I had the air conditioner only worked with the key card inserted into the slot. On entry the room was muggy hot and humid. Dining staff did not understand how to not cross contaminate food items for my wife's severe allergies to seafood and pineapple (kept trying to use same serving tongs with different foods)

Aston Sorong is the nicest hotel in Sorong. We stayed here 2 nights before a liveaboard. The room is nice and clean. The pool is beautiful and refreshing. They have a small gym that we used as well. The breakfast buffet was great and offered quite a few options. We ate dinner at the 360 Sky Lounge which offered a nice view of the city.

Everything was perfect other than the loud music outside outside the hotel at 1am and the prayer call blasting over loudspeaker beside the hotel at 5am.

The room book with Expedia was a superior room and was not very nice to upgrade to a deluxe room. The cost was twice the amount.

Lovely Hotel however !issue with spa

The hotel is modern and very comfortable. Everything works and it's within walking distance of the airport. However we did have an issue with the spa. We booked 2 massages for 2 People at 1pm ( happy hour) for the day of our stay. However when we turned up there was only 1 therapist available, not a good start. They said they can provide the 2nd massage later, after a lot of negotiation they agreed that we can pay happy hour price for the later massage as it is the spa's fault. When we went to pay after both massages, they didn't honour the happy hour prilce. We had to argue with them and put our foot down to get the agreed price. This really didn't make a good experience.

Aston Sorong is a new hotel right across from the airport. I've stayed at the Swiss Bel Hotel in Sorong, the only other nice hotel and recommend the Aston. New and very upscale character. Larger pool area with very good service. Rooms are clean and modern. Shower drain off proper incline so batroom floor gets wet furing showers. Otherwise, no complaints. Great internet connection and flat screen TV. Restaurant is "OK", but, not great. BBQ night by the pool on Saturday, however, was really good. Spa services are exceptional! Pay the little extra and stay at the Aston over the Swiss in Sorong. You get a lot more hotel for very little money.

The best (newest) option by far for those using Sorong as a gateway to Raja Ampat. Clean room with working AC and large shower. We stayed 1 night after boat transfer from Papua Explorers resort and before flight to Jakarta the next day. It is located very close to the airport and the onsite Restaurant also made things convenient. I would definitely recommend to others and would happily stay there again.

exactly what you need after staying in Raja Ampat with all the humidity. tom yum very yummy. we loved it.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was fantastic to have a hot shower and good night sleep after some rougher homestays on Raja Ampat. 10/10 recommend.

Bon confort hormis le réveil à 5h00

Nuit de transit reveillé á 5h par les chants trés fort de la mosqué. Pas de double vitrage. A proximité de l'aéroport, mais pas trés pratique de parcourir les 10 mn de marche avec des grosses valises á roulettes et franchir les hauts trottoirs.

Hôtel moderne et tout neuf ; Parfait pour passer une nuit avant de prendre son avion. L'hôtel est en face de l'aéroport. Service très lent au restaurant...

Très bien mais beaucoup de progrès a faire

Arrivée vers 10heures j’ai pu avoir ma chambre rapidement dans les 45 minutes c’était parfait. La chambre très bien mais des draps tachés et un matelas déjà enfoncé. L’accueil a l’arrivée est parfait. Par contre en ce qui concerne le restaurant c’est assez mauvais. Le lunch j’ai attendu 1 heure mon plat alors que j’étais la seule à manger à la carte. Ma boisson a été oublié j’ai du la demander 2 fois. J’ai appelé un serveur qui m’a bien regardé mais n’est pas venu. J’ai du me lever pour commander mon café. Au petit déjeuner 6H20, pas de pancake, pas de fruits, plus viennoiseries. J’ai eu 2 minuscules pancakes a ma demande. J’ai demandé des viennoiseries montrant les paniers vides. On m’a dit oui. 15 mn après toujours rien et je devais partir pour l’aéroport. J’ai demandé à nouveau à un cuisinier qui me les a apporté de suite. Le restaurant n’est pas à la hauteur de l’établissement. Les serveurs nombreux ne s’occupent pas du tout des clients. Ils ne vérifient jamais s’ils ont besoin de quelque chose. Pourtant nombreux. Pas ou très peu d’anglais. Il faut faire évoluer le restaurant Le soir une personnalité pour campagne électorale était dans le hall d’entrée assailli par une foule. Une personne a refusé que je passe pour rejoindre ma chambre. L’hôtel aurait dû anticiper et installé un couloir pour les clients de l’hôtel. Le hall est immense et il y a de la place pour cela. Et pour finir la musique à fond sur la terrasse de l’hôtel jusque très tard dans la nuit. Voilà

Great hotel in best location for onwards travel

The hotel is right next to the airport and has very new rooms and comfy beds, the AC worked well, too. Breakfast was very good and the rooftop bar was a big plus, with decent cocktails.

소롱에서 있었던 호텔 중 베스트였어요. 리브어보드의 여독을 푸느라 사진은 못 찍었네요. ㅠㅠ 방 컨디션도 좋고, 수영장도, 직원들의 친절함도 정말 좋았어요. 체크인과 체크아웃하는 것도 너무 편했어요. 와이사이 가기 전에 메가몰 들려서 이것저것 사들고 들어가면 딱이에요. 나올 때도 여기서 하루 정도 쉬고 이른 아침 비행기를 타도 좋아요. 공항에서 진짜 가까우니까요.
