This was my best hotel experience and I’ve travelled the world as a former flight attendant and tourist. Location is devine, right on Mediterranean Sea with 4 beautiful pools and in center of town and walkable to archaeological sites. Dining in is spectacular. Food is delicious and beautifully presented. Room is serviced twice a day. Receptionist staff eagerly and happily assists you with any question. This was the most perfect stay. Won’t ever find a better hotel, dining, location, staff in world

We had an amazing time at the Annabelle! The staff was very helpful in helping us find the perfect room for us! The only downside I would have to say, and this isn’t the hotels fault at all, is that the boardwalk gets a bit noisy early morning with workout classes, people, and birds. I’d recommend an inside facing room to try to block that out.

Lovely hotel for a mini break.

A lovely hotel. And excellent value. The staff are very helpful and friendly. It was off-season when we were there so the hotel was quite empty. The only negative which we could find was that there were no curtains in our bedroom so that we could not open the shutters fully as people could see in.

Fabulous hotel - great location and great facilities. Given we stayed at the end of the season a number of the restaurants were shut but there were plenty of options elsewhere

Disappointing

I booked a special room which had beautiful views on the hotels.com web site …. ( I first went to the Annabelle 25 years ago and remembered the stunning location / views ) The room had relatively poor views by the side of a public walkway and views from the room over the next door hotel . Everything else perfect , apart from the Breakfast Food which looked perfect for us as we eat very fresh healthy food but was tasteless …. on the last morning I asked the chef to put a bit of seasoning in an omelette and he said that he had no salt/pepper so I had to bring from the table … so funny !? No pics of those but lovely poolside pics etc ….

Great stay in a great location.

The hotel was great. Terrific location, friendly and helpful staff, great facilities. Could probably have a few more sunbeds.

Ok for a four star hotel

We enjoyed our stay at the Annabelle. We had a room facing the sea and the pool area so it was really nice.

Short break in Paphos

Nice hotel with helpful staff, bedrooms were a little tired, pools were excellent, food was premium albeit a bit disappointed to have €10 supplements on certain main course dishes. Didn’t like the towel hogging of sun beds or the number of guest that were smoking…..

Staff on reception v helpfull bfast great clean and quiet until uk half term but not really hotels fault. Overall excellent stay would definitely return .

Best place in Paphos

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. My room was very clean and spacious with a balcony overlooking the Med. sea. It was the most perfect view for NYE fireworks, they were right in front of my room. The staff was kind and helpful. Great breakfast and room service. Best location in Paphos!

Lively stay

Beautiful hotel with 3 lovely pools and plenty of space to sunbathe (late September stay) right on the coast. The choices at breakfast were extensive and all very well presented/cooked. The staff were all really friendly and helpful and our room was kept spotless with regular checks if anything extra was needed. We had a wonderful holiday and will definitely return - thank you Annabelle!

This was a return visit for a relaxing late summer holiday and we cannot think of anywhere better. The Annabelle is a luxurious resort hotel with a good range of facilities, perhaps now a little jaded, although broadly well-kept and good value. It has lovely gardens and pools for sunbathong and swimming, and its frontage to the bay and closeness to the harbour shops and archeological park are assets. There is effectively no beach anywhere near; this is a wellknown feature of Paphos. Staff are well-trained and service is efficient and friendly. The fine dining restaurant seemed to be closed, but other restaurants were excellent. It is situated in an area with continuous road works, which do not seem much advanced, even possibly worse, than a year ago, and poorly maintained infrastructure, uneven pavements. It boasts a no smoking policy, but ashtrays were everywhere and unpleasant smoking and vaping was universally permitted by staff.

Retirement Home

Beautiful resort style property. Top notch service. Staff knew we were leaving to airport early and prepared a to go breakfast bag that was truly fantastic. Overall great, 4-star rating because rooms are somewhat outdated and need a complete refresh, but given that hotel opened in the 80s it has been well maintained.

Wonderful Hotel

The Restaurant Manager was excellent. He prepared an early breakfast (4:00 am) because we had an early flight. In addition, all of the staff were so helpful.

Hotel was in a great location! Hotel stuff were very welcoming and pleasant. We were delayed in 20 minutes check in and got a bottle of fine champagne. Transportation service is convenient. We’ll come back!

Amazing hotel

Amazingly well hospitality, we celebrated our anniversary, the staff made our stay enjoyable. we booked the sea view room and been upgraded to a deluxe sea view. 4 amazing restaurants, very clean hotel, service was excellent! Definitely coming back soon!

Great place to stay in Cyprus

Very nice hotel with excellent facilities and a friendly staff, at a great location in Paphos, the best town in Cyprus for a vacation.

Disappointed

Painting works going on in the rooms beside us with accompanying early morning noise and dust. On one morning a man opened our door at 7.35am. Reception staff were generally helpful (although not about our room) Breakfast stops at 10am on the dot - the doors to the food are closed. Nice view from our room.

Very elegant and quiet hotel. Quite expensive for what you get in comparison to other expensive hotels nearby. Very good service from the staff.

Lovely stay

Holiday weekend…

The hotel is nice, clean & reception staff were superb! The room I had however, there was noise from the street in the evening, which was disappointing, but I guess if you paid more, you got a better location. The pool area is excellent, 3 different zones, but the term “beachfront” is literally a grassed area, across from a busy walk way, before you reach the waterfront. There are no sandy beaches in this part of Paphos & the “beach” is really non-existent before you’re in the water.

Amazing hotel

The Annabelle is a lovely hotel with excellent amenities. Warm swimming pool, great location and stunning sea views. It was very busy on our visit and as a consequence it was difficult to find a sun bed - although many were empty whilst reserved with towels. Breakfast was a difficult experience daily. The breakfast hostesses ( of which we met 3) were very task and rule focussed without being friendly or welcoming. Although we arrived 10 mins before end of service daily (as there were more tables available at that time), the hostesses would always check their watches and bluntly warn us that the breakfast would close shortly. No smile just facts. A fact, of course, we were already aware of. We always requested a table in shade daily, but were always pushed towards a table in sun with partial shade, as that table was already set up. If we again requested a table in the shade - we were reluctantly given one but were then bluntly told to stand by the desk and not near any tables whist waiting for it to be set up. Waiters were responsible for supplying coffee but it was never offered. It had to be requested when you could catch a server. Staff were usually busy carrying out tasks such as clearing up and closing things down even though the breakfast session was still ongoing. The staff gave us the impression that our presence was a bit of a nuisance as the breakfast service was nearly over. Overall, we felt very unwelcome during breakfast service.

Beautiful hotel and great service

The Annabelle is a gorgeous luxurious hotel. The rooms are extremely comfy and amenities were great. There are multiple pool area or you could lounge on the sea front. Food was excellent and very fresh and the service was impeccable. Would definitely come stay again.

A Haven in Paphos

Wonderful place as close to the sea as you can get without falling in. The Paphos harbor district isn't especially charming by Greek Island standards, but what it lacks in charm it compensates for in proximity and convenience. All the hotel restaurants are excellent. The only thing to be aware and prepared for is that all the power outlets in the rooms are U.K. type, but the hotel provides adaptors. The archeological park is fantastic.

Everyone was really friendly and welcoming to us and remembered my son's name. Really child-friendly and accommodating of my 3 year old son who was sometimes very loud and boisterous. Great for kids. Warm heated outdoor pool which my son loved. Shout out to Adrian from Ouranos restaurant ( breakfast buffet) who was extremely accommodating of our requests and the staff who went out of their way to cook a soft boiled egg for my kid. Great buffet with wonderful selection of food. Only downside is perhaps the fact that there was only 1 lock for the room door with no security chain which meant that children could open the door from the inside and run out the room. Great location with plenty of options for food, transport and walk to the amazing archaeological site.

Lovely hotel in a great location - would return!

We stayed at the Anabelle for a week in April 22. We had a lovely week and really enjoyed staying at the hotel. The room was a sea view and this was lovely. The room was of a resonable size and had a lovely bathroom with good shower and nice products. The room was maintained well and we slept well. Having also stayed at the sister hotel the Almyra we much preferred the pool area as it was more spacious but there was a lack of waiter service around the pool areas if you were not by the main pool (which was heated but filled with children). There are enough sunbeds to go round and also no fight for them due to an after 8am policy. We only ate breakfast in the hotel and this was a buffet and great. We ate lunch in the pool bar but was quite disappointed by the service and also the quality of the food. We needed up eating in the next door restaurant NOTIOS. We did eat in Ouraneous and this was lovely. All in all a fabulous hotel, great location and would definitely return

We visited Annabelle for 5 nights at the beginning of April as a couple to celebrate our honeymoon. We had only booked a partial sea view room but the lady on Reception who welcomed us, kindly upgraded us to a sea view room with complimentary fizz! The hotel is spotlessly clean, more of a traditional Cypriot interior style 5* however this adds to the welcoming feel and the staff cannot be faulted as they’re all lovely, polite and happy to help. We spent most of our time by the pool but did venture out to the harbour and some other recommended restaurants but the stay was perfect! The drinks, cocktails and food are of great quality and would definitely return!

Quality Seafront hotel

Good food, service and comfortable bed. Efficient air conditioning system. Only downside was that the pools are not heated (march).

The property itself is stunning, finished beautifully. The staff are friendly. Location for restaurants and activities was also good. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again. The food/bar is subpar and generally drags down thr true score to 3.5.

Annabelle hotel - superb

Fantastic hotel. Can’t fault it. In particular I want to thank the staff who were all very helpful and friendly. The hotel was spotless. The position of the hotel was excellent with just a short walk to the Harbour and all the restaurants. I’ll definitely stay there again.

All the staff were extremely polite and helpful. The food and facilities at the hotel were excellent. My only comment is we were staying in room 107 which was very near to where breakfast was served and it was noisy from about 7am and sometimes late at night too.

Not as expected

The hotel was selected for a special occasion and we received a warm welcome and a room upgrade on arrival. The room was as expected however the safe is tiny and cannot hold a standard size iPad or laptop, the air conditioning was unrefined and noisy. Breakfast service wasn’t the most welcoming and buffet selection limited in our view. We made a restaurant reservation by email. When we arrived at the restaurant there was no record of the reservation or of the special occasion it was celebrating which was disappointing and embarrassing as we had invited quests. The situation was recovered well by the restaurant manager and the meal and experience thereafter was enjoyable. The main issue we had with the stay was the presence of a corporate event at the hotel whose delegates were sharing the public areas. Despite guests being required to wear face coverings in these areas due to COVID the large number of event attendees blatantly did not comply, this was particularly evident at breakfast, even at the buffet. On our last day we were woken at 02.30 by the same conference delegates who decided to party in the swimming pool and the sun bed area. This continued until 0420 despite numerous complaints to the hotel reception and inadequate response by the hotel security. We received an apology from the manager on check out, however the presence of this corporate event and its delegates sadly spoilt our stay.

Wonderful Annabelle

First time at Annabelle, previously stayed several times next door at the Almyra, but will return to the Annabelle. All staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable, pool and outdoor facilities were exceptional, loved the pool bar!. Breakfast selection and food quality superb. Felt very Covid safe too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Annabelle last October. The hotel, rooms and pool are all fantastic. It is a brilliant location with many excellent restaurants within a short walk. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious with a buffet and also a menu to order hot dishes from. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have just booked to stay again for 12 nights in July. We look forward to seeing you all then! Mr and Mrs Massarella

Warm welcome from reception staff on arrival. Upgraded room. Location perfect. Pool area sensational. Breakfast was adequate. Pool bar staff and service excellent. Spa wonderful and not too expensive. Fantastic local restaurants. Check out made easy with a courtesy room available. Definitely will return.

The Hotel was amazing, staff friendly and everything felt very safe. All staff wearing masks with hand sanitiser everywhere, sunbeds 2m apart. Food is incredible and the pools are very big. The views are stunning and the location is perfect - Will be returning!

Great location, sea views, gardens, close to the town. Excellent food. We liked the fact that there are sun beds spread out in different areas. The staff were friendly and efficient. We really enjoyed the cocktails, including frozen ones! We both had excellent massages in the new spa. The room size was excellent and we loved having the space for a sofa and table. The air conditioning was excellent- effective but quiet enough that it didn’t disturb our sleep. The room was booked as sea view but wasn’t as we imagined- you could see the sea, but only just. They seem to have some trouble with the walls in some corridors and in our en-suite bathroom - looked crusty in places, smelt a bit damp and not the finish we would expect of a 5* hotel. Having said that, the things we liked far outweighed what we didn’t like and we are planning on returning.

Beautiful property and service, but rooms old.

The hotel is really nice, love the pools, cave, breakfast (amazing!). However my 1st room's AC went out on day 2 of my 7 night stay (6-7 days, can't remember). Maintenance was on it right away which was great, but couldn't fix it, so I moved rooms which was ok, but I think the units should be serviced more regularly if you intend your property to maintain a 5 star rating. The front desk gave me a ticket to the Opera and that was amazing, I didn't like the show, but that was really great customer service, thank you!!! I also noticed the showers don't have a long enough barrier to prevent water from spraying into the rest of the bathroom, this was the case in both rooms (314 and 317). The glass sheet should be at least 1.5-2ft longer to prevent this, while the floor became very wet and I'd use several towels to dry it, but then the house keeping wouldn't replace the towels, which I know is by policy because of the water shortage, so many fix the shower issue and I won't have to use the towels to wipe up the floor every time I shower.

Very nice hotel, polite staff, and good food. There's close access to the sea with clean water with lounge chairs on grass - there's no (sand) beach, however.

What an unexpected surprise!

I have to admit, I was not looking forward to my stay as a) my husband was away and b) I made it a point to avoid The Annabelle as my previous stays (4 years ago) were underwhelming to say the least. However, I was shocked and delighted with the new refurbished hotel! The layout is pretty much the same, but I loved the new light and bright bedrooms with plush robes, towels, slippers and pretty much everything one could need! They had taken away the old bath tub and replaced it with a large walk in shower which was amazing. The staff were all very helpful and very friendly, I didn't have the chance to have lunch or dinner but enjoyed a lovely pot of herbal tea with two homemade cookies whilst doing a bit of work in the library area. Breakfast was plentiful and it is the only hotel I have stayed in where the buffet food is actually steaming hot! There was only one point that poorly affected my stay. I was put in a room with an inter-connecting door to the next room where I could literally hear everything going on with the couple, including every single word of their conversations and even worse, I had to lay in bed and listen to the gentlemen's heavy breathing as he slept. It could have been worse, he could have been snoring, but it was very unnerving as it just felt too close for comfort! So I would highly suggest having connecting doors replaced with better, thicker sound proof ones. But other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will book there again!

Great hotel in a superb location with fantastic staff delivering faultless performance. The three minor negative points were - the normal restaurant is not of the standard I would expect from a 5* hotel. The service is great but rhe food is only ok. Fortunately there is no shortage of places to eat within a few minutes walk. The rooms were a bit on the small side and not as well soundproofed as I would expect. That said, the bathroom and shower was one of the best I've experienced and, again, the service was superb. Finally, for a hotel that has been recently improved I was surprised just how much water poured through the ceiling into the lounge in last week's storms. I know they were exceptional but I live in Cyprus and my house doesn't leak! As usual though, the staff were on it but I had to feel sorry for the lady who spent her entire day emptying buckets! Notwithstanding the above, we had a great time, would thoroughly recommend it and would certainly go back.

Had a fabulous time 2 months ago. Exceptional staff always so helpful and obliging. Just a pleasure to be there. Would like to mention the lovely.,jolly NATASHA the lady who replaced our teabags and milk everyday. What a joy she was.Cant wait to come back for a 3rd time xxx

Friendly staff and spotlessly clean

Beautiful hotel. At check in we were greeted with a glass of fresh lemonade, we were taken to our rooms which were spotless. Pool area was very tranquil with 4 different pools to choose from. Sun beds were so comfortable you didn’t want to move off them. Buffet breakfast was great, plenty to choose from and constantly replenished with fresh food. Two small quibbles, the pillows were very uncomfortable for me and the food served around the pool could have been a little more varied. Overall, best hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

One of the best

Our stay was extremely good. We were placed in the new extension with a sea view as we had booked. The only downside I found all stay was the room had an intermediate door between our room and another guests room. The acoustics were lacking and we could pretty much hear each other’s conversations.
