Beautiful, unique, excellent service
Beautiful and unique setting
Good
One hour to check-in, nobody explained us anything about dining options and activities.
A Must-Visit, truly exceptional.
A magical enchanting desert resort with a truly fantastic and welcome team.
Hotel was beautiful, staff very nice and ready to help. We met Andres the chef from one of the restaurants, very nice, he took the time to show us around the hotel and beauty of it. Food was good, service at the pool, excellent.
Most amazing place that we have been . Everything and everyone are excellent.
All good
Awesome experience and truly peaceful
Luxury!
Amazing stay
I had a wonderful stay at Anantara. The staff were friendly and provided great service throughout my visit. The food was tasty with a good variety of options to choose from. The pool area, complete with sunbeds and cabanas, was a nice place to relax. The pool bar offered a decent selection and a pleasant atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, perfect for recharging after a day of exploration. One of the highlights was the stunning nature surrounding the hotel, featuring beautiful dunes and occasional gazelles and camels. Thank you, Anantara, for an unforgettable and magical stay - I will definitely be back!
Nice
I hope to come again
Awesome get away in the empty quarter
Awesome little staycation, the location is wonderful in the middle of the desert, like an oasis just with all the luxury amenities you can imagine. Our trip was made special by our hosts in the hotel: Fabiana made our welcome special by her friendly and personal openness and effort to ensure all wishes are addressed, Erik as restaurant manager of Suhail was personally looking after us and ensuring together with Ali that our evening was unforgettable. Nazir looked after us on our Camel ride in the desert (awesome to climb the high dunes on the back of a Camel) and also acted as our professional camera man, volunteering to capture the moments for us. Thank you for an unforgettable staycation. Will be back!
Fabulous and serene desert oasis.
the setting was unique however dining options were not great
This property is truly unique. I don't think I have ever stayed in a 5 star hotel with such exceptional service from every single member of staff. Truly outstanding. Farhan my "butler" was incredibly responsive and attentive to requests to make dinner, spa and activity reservations and the dune bashing with Saleem was just an incredible experience. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The pool area and swim up bar is amazing, I didn't want to leave and 4 nights felt like I'd been there for over a week. So relaxing. If I was being very (very) picky, and as a point of feedback for improvement, I'd say the food was pretty good (but not amazing) for a 5 star property - particularly in the Suhail restaurant which is very expensive. Nothing bad, just room for improvement in terms of the quality. The gym facility is also awesome, as is the spa. An amazingly good massage. Just what was needed after a long flight. thank you to all - I hope to be back!
Best desert hotel in the UAE
Fantastic service, fantastic location, fantastic hotel. Without a doubt the best desert hotel in the UAE. An incredible and unique experience that made my birthday weekend there unforgettable.
High End but Bulldozers Disturbing the Peace
Perfect service. Very nice hotel. Outstanding breakfast buffet on the plus side. Very disappointing to have noisy bulldozers, cranes, trucks and neon-lights in full view where you´d expect a quiet desert during the day-time and in the evening.
Very nice experience to stay inside the Arabian Desert. Great facility surrounded by the beautiful golden and reddish sand dunes.
Unique experience ,worth the trip
Unique architecture in the middle of the desert , great dining / housekeeping service team . Great effort for developing and running this place.
Life best
Life best hotel
Excellent place. Nice pool and kind staff and amazing desert view. Small problem is the restaurant which is not various so that I do not have any choices.
Awesome!
It was amazing! Five star all round. Perfect for a short relaxing stay! Staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. They met our every need. The only exception was the pool bar staff who didn’t seem to know what they were doing.
Exceptional Experience
This was our second stay at Qasr Al Sarab and we upgraded from a garden deluxe to a one bed villa with a pool. Everything in the villa was outstanding, space, facilities, finishings. You will certainly not be disappointed. Due to the heat, the breakfast was delivered to the room and you could order as much as you like, we literally did not leave our villa the whole time we stayed. Anything we required more of was delivered to us very promptly and all staff were super friendly and professional at all times. Olga took special care of us as it was our anniversary and we were repeat customers. Thank you Olga and your team. We look forward to another visit soon. Tayyba and Tariq
Gorgeous place, gorgeous hotel. Management should be on top of few things though. There were some deficiencies in the service that reflects poor oversight: 1. Room was not very clear. Hair on floor and in sink. 2. After the room was serviced; toiletry (shampoo, etc.. ) were not refilled and placed back in an orderly way; they kept them the way we left them. 3. Only one capsule of caffeinated coffee for a room of 2 and one decaf. 4. Toiletry (cream, shampoo etc..) were not of expected quality; the ones used in their gym/spa are much better than the ones in the room. 5. They say they have a soap menu; but we had to order the soap. But otherwise an amazing place; surreal. Should be on every tourist's short list of things to do.
Perfect
It was a perfec place for relaxation. Very peaceful but luxurious. Tasty food, amazing service. Perfect.
Very impressive!!!
It was amazing. Speechless!! Staff was super friendly and kind, eager to help, speedy service. I stayed one night in villa, one night in royal villa. The desert view was amazing. You can see lots of stars at night. The food was super tasty and fresh. Thank you for the good service, Umar!!!!! Very very impressive
Stunning Desert Resort
The resort is just beautiful, almost magical! The staff is extremely attentive and friendly. We went on the sunset camel ride, which turned into a private one with the most knowledgeable guide. We can’t wait to go back!!
everything was good!!
Amazing! Amazing ! Amazing Definitely one of the classiest resorts I have stayed in Only feedback for improvement is food for vegan/ vegeterian guests. Choices are super limited for vegetarians.
Rude and inconsiderate management.
The property is beautiful. Communication with Management before and on arrival at the hotel was extremely disappointing. Guest relations manager Edwina was rude and condescending. We booked a suite and were informed before hand that it sleeps 3 adults. There was 1 king bed (for 2 adults) and 1 fold away children's metal spring bed for the 3rd adult. This was unacceptable and management were not willing to change in any way shape or form at the hotel because we had booked through hotel.com and not directly with them. Instead the Manager Raphaelo asked me to check-in to another room for 2 nights at an additional expense. I was not willing to do this as the website states the suite sleeps 3 adults and therefore as the hotel did not have the facilities for this, the management tried to pressure me into paying for another room or sleep on the child's foldable bed which was extremely uncomfortable and painful for the back for 2 nights.
Desert Paradise & Solitude
The overall experince was amazing. Fabulous, unintrusive service, great amenities, nothing was too much trouble. Desert views, sunsets/sunrises were ever changing and breathtaking and the silence. Totally relaxing luxury getway from the modern world hustle & bussle!
Nice place
It was a great experience!! All staffs are kind. There are many stars in the night sky. And dinnings also are good.
Amazing service and a great Arab feel. I will be back
정말 친절한 서비스에 감동을 받았습니다. 그리고 사막뷰에 잊지못할 경험을 했습니다
Can't wait to be back
The overall stay was very relaxing, excellent service, loved the atmospher and quietness. This was a treat away from the hassle of everyday life and to re-gain the inner peace. The pool was amazing
QAS
Lovely place, wish I have had more time for more activities
True Desert Resort
It was amazing staying at this property, professionally managed with excellent services. Very cooperative staff. Demerits as per our observations: local activities were priced abnormally high.
This is an amazing place! The customer service is the best part of this hotel! Check in was delightful thought it took a while. We were given stuffed camels and a date drink. To get back and forth around the property, you can call for carts which are quick to pick up. Room was beautiful, clean, and comfy. Food was decent--maybe a tad overpriced, but considering they have to haul everything to the desert, it makes sense. The buffet breakfast was amazing and my favorite part. Also, beautiful views! The pool area workers were okay, but again, everywhere else was fantastic.
Amazing , I love how it’s built literally in the middle of the desert
Excellent property with an amazing setting. Truly fairytale in its experience. Activity management lacked, with very minimal spots and most activities restricted or unavailable even though resort was not very busy.
Best days of our lives
The staff were AMAZING! From Adam with the check-in, Yusuf, our activities manager, Waris, our tour operator, executive chef Louis Bardenhorst en every staff member that drove us to and from our room to the pool and breakfast spot. The view from our room was stunning and the amenities were spectacular. The breakfast and dinner were out of this world. The atmosphere created by the staff and breathtaking surrounding will have us going back soon enough.
perfect staycation
Pleasant stay , high quality of service , al staff are friendly and informative . Next time will go with family
Qasr Al Sarab is a very serene Hotel. The staff just cannot do enough for you and it is a beautiful place to spend your vacation.
AMAZING PROPERTY, Amazing People.. Modern, Royal & one of the best.
Great stay with great amenities. Some minor issues with the room, but they were resolved quickly. Given COVID-19 restrictions there were some minor delays with check-in and getting seating for breakfast but it did not bother us. We were pleased to see them complying with all the new regulations.
Perfect for a relaxing weekend
Great rooms, great food, great service, great pool 👌
A tranquil place in the middle of the desert..
One of the best places I've ever been. We stayed at the Royal pavillion villa where we experienced tranquility. The facility is sparkling clean. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food.. superb! All in all, 10/10 for me!
Everything was absolutely amazing! The best desert hotel in UAE and all staff were extremely kind and helpful!
outstanding resort
Absolute relaxing, especially just before the confinement
Great choice
Amazing
fantastic location, service, staff, amenities, activities available
The service quality is unbeatable! From check-in to check-out and everything in between. Ambience and scenic views of the desert are simply wonderful. The dining experience and variety of choices are very impressive.
Very good experience. Being a gold member, I was given a room upgrade & spa voucher both of which were very nice.
It’s a piece of heaven on earth... simply amazing!!!
Location and service were everything . Neither could be faulted
My wife and I stayed two nights here on our honeymoon. The remote desert location was unique, especially if you have not experienced the desert surroundings before. Enjoyed the drive there especially the private roads near the hotel. Staff was excellent. We went for dining by design and the cooking class and were very well taken care of. Overall, would recommend the hotel for special ocassions but be prepared to pay a bit more.
Amazing gateaway location, literally in the middle of the desert with amazing service and staff.
The magical desert
It was a beautiful hotel located in the desert. It was magical!
The desert is amazing, there. And this resort is staffed with fantastic people, and every need you have is cared for. Couldn't have had a better experience.
Unique experience, the best one so far! Great service and attention. Amazing facility and beautiful views!
It is literally next door to the Empty Quarter. Can't imagine a more comfortable way to feel the depth and beauty of the Arabian desert.
Amazing family retreat
It was an amazing experience for me and the family . The options of spa and other family activities was just perfect for a long weekend. Everyone made our stay a magical moment. Room service was great. Spa experience very relaxing and the camel and dune bashing was the perfect end to a wonderful family retreat.
Wonderland - wonderful- Wonderful - what an amazing place
Unique location in the middle of the desert, great facilities
Excellent service, beautiful property and rooms. Very luxurious stay.
An absolute must!
This is a beautiful hotel in absolutely stunning surroundings. It's quite expensive to stay but definitely worth the cost of a weekend break to just experience being out in the desert. You must go climb the sand dunes, especially at sunrise when it's still quite cool. The hotel is gorgeous, spotlessly clean and comfortable, the staff are all lovely, the food and service is excellent but the beer is expensive! At 42 dhs (£8.50) for a bottle of beer, we didn't have many! There were only a couple of food options (the buffet was closed) but we ate at Ghadeer, the Mediterranean restaurant, and for 2 steaks and 2 beers it was 514 aed (£103). I have to say that the steaks were excellent but they do have some cheaper pasta options too. The pool is lovely and the attendants were round constantly with fruit smoothies, water and cucumber for our eyes. The room upgrade and gorgeous cake for my birthday helped make it a perfect weekend break.
A very good hotel
The hotel was really nice and quiet. The room was spacious and in good condition. The buffet was of good quality. The Italian restaurant wasn't very good, I would say it was below average. The manager of the hotel, Ms Munia, was particularly nice and professional.
Amazing desert experience
Beautiful & luxury hotel, in the most amazing location to experience the desert. A 3h drive away from Dubai but worth the trip. A true cultural experience.
Peaceful desert resort. All Staff very friendly, helpful, and professional. edwina concierge was remarkable.
The staff is very friendly and being there makes you wordless. Just amazing
This resort escapes all comparisons as the facility and the location far exceed what you would expect in such a remote location. The staff and services were well above what is expected at a 5 star resort. If you are intending on visiting this area, even one night in the desert will bring you back again.
One of the best resorts I’ve ever visited.
The service was some of the best I’ve ever experienced! We’re not ones to demand many extras, but when we did ask for something it was a prompt YES and exceeded what we requested. But then the king of UAE has a villa here so what do you expect. All four adults said we’ve never realized the desert could be so beautiful. We had great food. The room was impressive. Each day at the pool our Sunshine Butler came around to clean our sunglasses, hand out cool washcloths, and give us cucumbers for our eyes. When he realized after the first day we preferred to be in the shade, he would come around and adjust our umbrella, without being asked, throughout the day.
Amazing!! Fabulous place.
Perfect Desert Oasis!
The resort is impeccable. The service is that you expect of a 5 star property. It is a bit isolated in the desert, but that is something I expected going into the stay. My husband and I joked that it is an adult Disneyland, as you feel like you're living in Jasmine's castle! We had a perfect stay and the activities, dining and spa were all top notch!
gem in desert
great 5 star hotel. Limited restaurant choices for lunch.
oasis
great hotel, grand and in middle of desert . Good service and relaxing
We 100% loved our experience at this hotel. imran and Jane plus many others at the facility were espectacular. We left with the best memories of this dessert oasis.
Lovely hotel in the middle of the desert, a place to relax and enjoy different experiences. The hotel staff are frieny and helpful and the rooms are so comfortable it's a shame we couldn't stay longer.
The Edge of the Empty Quarter
Wonderful location at the edge of the Empty Quarter. Subtle opulence. Superb staff, and dining.
wonderful experience!!! all staff very accommodating
Breath taking
Serenity, away from your daily work life just so peaceful
It was the most amazing place I’ve ever been to!!
It was a increadible experience, a unique hotel, in the middlw of desert. Me and my family just loved. The only thing is that temperature get very high in the middle of the year, so in case you do not want to burn, should avoid june, july, august and september.
Amazing desert experience
Pictures do not describe this place. Beyond amazing. Service was excellent. Thank you Expedia for the late check out!
Desert Hotel
Unique location in a stunning desert setting. Very helpful friendly staff. Only disappointing element was the food which was a bit underwhelming.
WE WERE 3 PERSON - THE BED FOR THE THIRD PERSON WAS SMALL MAKE A LOT OF NOISE - I COULD NOT SLEEP - NO EXTRA COVERS - IT WAS VERY COLD - VERY EXPENSIVE
Fantastic Stay
The resort is fantastic - top-notch service, accommodations, activities, food, amenities, etc. I highly recommend staying here to anyone travelling in the UAE. I would particularly suggest the spa, dining at Al Falaj, and a sunset camel ride!
Best hotel in the desert
Best view of the desert and best sunrise/sunset. The resort is amazing and staff care about your stay.
Mirage or Miracle
200 km south of Abu Dhabi, deep in the desert and close to the border with Saudi Arabia stands a miracle of hotel design. This is a special place, and offers a unique experience. The quality of food and service is outstanding and no expense has been spared on providing the best in Arab hospitality.
Awesome Desert Dune Resort
Great experience at check-in, delicious food, a magnificent view of the desert, friendly staff
Fenomenal desert experience!
This property is the most exotic place I and my wife stay! Our expectations were beyond met! Simply espectacular with the best customer service ever! We fully recommend to experience this desert jewel!
A bit hot at this time of year but we had a wonderful desert camel ride at sunset and a lovely dinner and breakfast.
The best desert resort in the UAE
Fantastic experience, magic atmosphere great stuff and facilities
Spectacular and unique property
Amazing place in the middle of nowhere. The property location, design and high standards are eye-openingly good. Amazing food from all of the four on-site restaurants, great service and lots of fun activities to choose from
Fabulous desert trip to Qasr al Sarab
Fabulously dreamy spot and the resort just blends in to the stunning surroundings. My husband had not brought his passport along from Abu Dhabi so we had a rough arrival....thought we might not be able to stay! When booking the hotel sinwhere it should say clearly this requirement. But after sorting it out things went very well. The falcon show that eve was fun and the sunrise camel ride spectacular. BBQ at the desert restaurant outdoors delicious! And the pool side lounging also wonderful. Very attentive staff-mostly Pakistanisworking hard at their jobs.
Very awesome staff! Friendly, forthcoming and always trying to walk the extra mile. Perfect venue if you are looking for peace and tranquillity.
Perfect desert escape
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Qasr Al Sarab. In particular, we found the resort facilities impeccable; the experiences offered fantastic; and the staff welcoming and friendly. A highlight for us was the Liwa Tour, during which our guide, Shalika, was extremely knowledgeable of the local area, and went above and beyond to provide us with a unique experience. We also really appreciated Marisan’s bubbly and friendly character during our sunset camel trek – she made the experience really fun and took some great photos for us! We also really enjoyed our dining experience Bedouin style which allowed us to immerse ourselves in traditional Arabic culture. However, we found all the resort’s restaurants and waiters to be of a very high standard. The poolside refreshment and sunshine butler services were also fantastic – they paid just the right amount of attention and approached us at appropriate intervals and were always friendly. Overall, we both left Qasr Al Sarab feeling like it was the perfect combination of luxury and authenticity. We will definitely return for another visit, and could not recommend the experience more highly to friends and family.
Absolutely AMAZING hotel!!
We have stayed at many hotels across the world, but Qasr al Sarab simply beats them all hands down. The hotel ground are immaculate in cleanliness, layout and sheer beauty. The staff are absolutely fantastic - they go above and beyond in every way possible. The food is the quality of a three Michelin star restaurant. I simply can not find a single thing negative to say about this Hotel!!
Absolutely awesome stay. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a unique, memorable and luxurious experience. The staff are wonderful and the experience can’t be beat. The scenery and location of the hotel are stunning.
