First stay in Prague
Front desk staff was very friendly. I suggest that the breakfast area have a sign reflecting that you can only eat there in the cafeteria and not take food out. Other guest tried and were told that they were on camera. The room was a little warm. The ATM is steps away from the hotel. Dont let the ATM give you the exchange rate but your own bank. Again staff extremely friendly and helpful.
On the 8 floor, the water pressure in the bathroom is very low, it is impossible to take a shower, the breakfast could be more varied for this really high price. Apart from that, we were satisfied with everything.
Good hotel
The staff at as very friendly and helpful. The other guests were noisy at times. The beds were terrible, super soft and it felt like you would roll off them in the night.
The cleaners were so noisy it jolted me awake at 7am and then continued throughout the morning. They even banged on my door and woke the baby even though i had a do not disturb sign up and didnt have to check out for another 2 hours.
Slow wifi. No free coffee or tea. No handsoap and limited body wash and shampoo. For a 2 night stay and 2 pax everything was not enough.
Quiet location. Great price. Not a lot of choices for dinner except KFC next door unless you take a bus five minutes to a huge mall which has everything. Our room did not have coffee until we asked for it. Clean place with friendly staff. Easy to get to from the subway by bus. #115 or 126 at Chodov station
A new building with nice bathrooms
I was quite abset that I was not able to open window and let the fresh air com in
Rooms small but clean.Beds 2 single comfortable.Good value.
Nice hotel, location not in the center abroad but ood connection with public transport
Best Western Amedia Praha
The only main problem is that the garage elevator was out of order and it was difficult with the luggage was difficult. Beside the fact the garage rate was 11€ per night that I had to pay extra because it was not included in the rate of the room. The mattress and pillows in this hotel was the most comfortable I ever sleeps in my all life.
No shuttle service to Metro station or Bus station , People had to walk a long way to those services. Personaly I had no problem walking, But for those........ I was concern. Loved my short Trip to Prague and was happy....
The free parking was not free, 20 Euros per day to park in their garage. No refrigerator in room, otherwise ok.
Unusually tall, but very comfortable bed, excellent breakfast, large parking lot. All in all, a great stay P.S. Thanks Expedia for relocation.
Stayed one night . OK
Very small rooms. 30-45 min drive to the airport. Parking cost is $11 / day. Service was disappointing. KFC restaurant next door (very expensive) but handy if you waiting for a flight next day.
Worst Western
This hotel is real dump the rooms are old and badly maintained and the staff is impolite and unfriendly, only one elevator works and it takes 10 minutes to get into it, breakfast was nothing special but ok
Nice, Easy stay :-)
Staff was nice, friendly and welcoming :-)
Needs an interior designer and client service training for reception staff
Very limited comfort
No toiletries, slow internet, far from main city, no ventilation in bathroom.
Comfortable stay, with great breakfast. Very slow wifi connection when the hotel is full, couldn't get work done.
For this amount of money it is a very good option for a short stay. Given we travelled by car, the location of the hotel was absolutely fine.
Good stay, but confirm amenities
We chose this hotel because it had free parking near the hotel, free laundry and free breakfast. We traveled all through Europe and I carefully planned each hotel for a different purpose. This hotel was so we could walk to the close by train at Chodov Center and to also do laundry on our two week trip. However, when we checked in, the receptionist informed me that not only do they not offer free laundry, but they don’t have laundry at the facility. I’d have to go to the mall (which cost me $8.50 usd for 1 load). This was pretty crappy as I booked through best Western website. That was the whole reason I booked this hotel. But the receptionist was nice and gave me infor for the train. She did offer to send our laundry out....for a fee but I declined. So don’t believe the site when it says free 24-hour laundry. The room was clean, typical small European bathroom but sufficient. The best thing is they have A/c in the rooms. Something a lot of hotels don’t have. The breakfast is pretty good and filling. They have THE best hotel cappuccino’s hands down. I put 3 raw sugar cubes and it’s soooo good. Over all, it was a good stay. Our evening waiter was kind and kept those beers flowing. I’d recommend this hotel if you are wanting a low cost trip with everything (but free facility parking.)
This property is out of the city, and a 10 minute walk to the mall and train station. The young lady on reception when we arrived was extremely helpful. The breakfast available was very good.
Clean rooms, friendly staff.
The facilities are good. The hotel is situated in a quite area, close to a big Shopping Centre.
Missing more space for wardrobe Missing mini bar
Enjoyable location
Enjoyable location
Nice hotel but not for me again.
Negative points first: Reception staff weren't very knowledgable. Reception don't have metro tickets for sale unlike other hotels in Prague. When I arrived they said we wouldn't check in until 2pm unless we paid, it was 12.45... I refused and sat in the seating area. After 30 minutes the receptionist came over with our key... so another money making scheme and if the room was already ready was there a need to charge and be awkward? You can not buy a single drink of any kind before 2pm in the hotel even though their information leaflet in your rooms say they sell bottled water. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the Metro station not 8/10 mins as they claim. Good points: Great room, clean and enough room to move in. I forgot a razor but they keep packs in reception which was brilliant. The bar man was lovely and happy. The panini's he made us were fantastic and really good value. The breakfast was nice and had some variety.
If you expect a hotel as level as other Best Westerns Hotels, you will be shocked.
All Needs Met
This hotel isn't quite in the city centre, but it isn't that far either. We found it very convenient, we just took an uber, or the metro, or our tour would pick us up and drop us off. There is a big mall nearby which has lots of shops, a supermarket and a big food court. The wifi is free which is good. Breakfast is included which offered some hot and cold dishes. It was also nice. Hotel rooms are clean and staff are friendly.
Not set up well
Shower pressure really bad. Set up for breakfast is horrible. Far too small an area for hotel of this capacity. Only two slow small elevators.
Best Western Hotel near Chodov
We checked in for three days in Best Western Hotel, the hotel location is near to the train station and you can use the metro to get to the city of Prague, twenty minutes travel by train, 24 Czech Krone metro ticket for a short one way trip and the ticket is good for 30 minutes. Very good service for a three star hotel, good breakfast, clean place, and a very good price budget hotel. The Mall is located at Chodov train station.
small room, cleaning of room was not daily
room was slightly small for 2 people sharing, room was clean when we arrived but it wasn't cleaned during the first day, and for the second day we only got new towels (no cleaning was done). Location is not convenient for PRague sightseeing (but we knew that in advance)
well-pleased with hotel and breakfast
I chose this hotel based on location halfway to downtown Prague from a colleagues house to the South. It was convenient - about 4 minute walk to frequent buses took me in either direction. There's a "Pizza Go Home" near the bus stop, which was convenient, and pretty good. The staff were friendly, the breakfast extensive and good, and included, the rate reasonable. There's no gym tho. I would certainly stay here again.
Good value away from tourist area
Not close to anything
Small room on 8th floor. Internet free in lobby but 5€ in the room. Sat in hallway and was able to pick up the free signal. Shower ok but stream was weak. shower curtain and tension rod collapsed after I was done. Arm or head constantly hits poorly placed reading lights over the bed. Stayed one night only because better amenities at lower price and more centrally located hotel near metro Krizikova was full the last night we were in Prague so we had to change. Amedia hotel near the end of the metro line at Chodov. Don't use hotel's taxi to airport at 900 csk. if you ask they will call a taxi company of your choice which only costs 620 csk in early morning 4a.m.
Basic box hotel near D1 highway
Free internet speed, tested on October 14, 2013 with speediest.net (230 ms, 1.5 Mbps download, 0.9 Mbps upload. Paid internet was 5 Euro per night, the receptionist said it was much faster but when I tested it on the 8th Floor the speed was basically the same as the free version. After I complained, I was not charged. Free street parking at the back of the hotel. Free breakfast that I did not get to taste as the restaurant was always full with bus tours. The location is not nice, the staff was OK with a typical Czech attitude (why are you bothering me!).
trip to Prague
Very hard toi access the Metro. Bus stop distant, bus to metro. We experienced inclement weather and tried to get the hotel to assist. They did not suggest sending the hotel taxi to the metro to pick us up. Breakfast buffet had no egg items, just salads and slice meat with cearel, etc. suggest more breakfasty items.
Okay!!!
I would say its was juz okay!!
Convenient
Recommended, especially for those who need hotel just for sleeping and breakfast, spending the rest of the day sightseeing.
Good value hotel
This was my third visit to this hotel. It offers excellent value for money. A bit out of the centre but the metro is so close to the hotel and cheap. Organised transport from the airport makes it easy to get to with suitcases! The rooms are standard and are fine. Breakfast is a buffet and this time, unfortunately, a bit of a rabble. This was due to the many coach parties using the hotel who eat and waste enormous amounts of food. Many also carried out more food for lunch despite a notice saying this was not allowed. A more visible management style might have saved the hotel a lot of money! Still I would choose this hotel again.
Not impressed - wouldn't stay again
The staff were rude, the rooms were basic and nothing like the pictures and it is NO WHERE near the town centre!! Breakfast is the same everyday.
Good hotel. Worth considering
This hotel was a good hotel with everything that you would expect. The beds were very comfortable. Decent shower and the staff were friendly and helpful with assisting in arranging trips and the such. The only slight drawback is the distance from the centre of the city. But the Metro is about 10mins away and is cheapa nd easy to use. On the plus side of this point it is quiet and out of the way if you want to avoid the noise and hustle of the nightlife. Also, on our first day we found that the breakfast queue was very long when we went as most trips seem to leave around the same time. As such you either need to get down very early or wait for the rush to pass. All in all a good hotel with everything you need as a base for a holiday.
Very pleasant experience
A longer walk than expected to the metro station but a helpful staff, plenty of brochures available, large variety for breakfast, and clean room.
Ok for the money
Hotel staff was friendly but there was a bad smell in the hallways at night and the room was pretty sparse compared to what was expected
Not Impressed the hotel waw dirty and in the middle of know where
q
Very Nice Hotel a bit Outside of Downtown
The Euro Hotel is a very good place to stay where you get a great room and environment a more than reasonable price. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and all spoke perfect English. I called them ahead of time to find out how to reach the hotel via public transportation and they gave perfect directions. The room was spacious enough and very clean. The hotel is not central to downtown Prague but the public transportation is easy to use and not that far and a taxi wasn't too expensive. There is a very nice bar/lounge in the lobby as well. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
Best Value
For the price, the hotel is an excellent deal! The hotel itself was difficult to find at first! Its actually near a gas station and behind another building. The staff spoke English and were very friendly. Also this hotel has a very secure parking garage underground. It costs about 10 Euro to park but its well worth the money. Our room consisted of the typical European "double bed," two twin size beds pushed together, a desk, and a large chair. The bathroom was small and only contained a shower. As with most European vacations, you're rarely in your hotel room, so we were more than happy with the accommodations. The room and bathroom were clean and the view from our room was very nice as well. The bar staff were very friendly and engaging, and again they spoke excellent English. There were maps and tour flyers at the hotel as well as taxi prices. This hotel is a little far from the center of Prague, but it was enough to get to the downtown area from the hotel. The breakfast is a typical European breakfast, cold meats, cold cheese, and bread but they also had cereal and a few other things. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience, and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
Fits the budget
This budget Czech hotel included a (decent) continental breakfast and air conditioning, something I did not get for three weeks in neigboring Germany. Staff was helpful. Some rooms lost electriity one night but problem got fixed promptly. Elevators slow and small. KFC and mall food court nearby. Agip gas station also sells eats. Bus station next door or 15-minute walk to Chodov metro, then 15-minute ride to town. If arriving at Chodov station, walk under the Centrum Mall underpass, turn right at the large roundabout and go under the freeway bridge. Hotel is on the left. If you don't mind the commute, this hotel is a good option for avoiding Prague's high lodging prices.
Good for the suburbs
Everyone spoke English at the hotel, and they were very helpful trying to find attractions, food etc. The hotel is close to a large shopping mall, but it's in the suburbs so it does take 30-40min to get to the main attractions in Prague. But if you're just using it as a place to sleep/relax at night, it's a nice place.
Nice but a little far
This hotel is new and really nice. It has a breakfast buffet which was really good! My only gripe is that it far from the Metro station. You would need to take a bus to get to the hotel, and once your at the stop, its still a little more to go. If you can get past that, then you will like it.
Euro Hotel Prague
A good value for the price. A little out of the way - about 10 minute walk to the subway - but once there easy to get around Prague. 15 minute ride to downtown Very clean Staff accomodating Many tours bus groups coming through but not a problem I would stay there again. Staff saved me 300 krons on the taxi fare back to the airport by calling their connections.
Ewerything was okey
Was oké
Falta restaurant
one star down because breakfast is extra
no breakfast included. Ad 125,- czk to the price when booking
Windows don't open.Got ill-bad ventilation either.
Windows don't open. Got ill due to the bad ventilation.
Everything is good :)
The hotel is clean and safe, also staffs are kind and friedly. If I visit to Prague again, I wish to stay in the hotel again.
Gutes Hotel
Weiterempfehlung.
Bedste hotel for os
En overraskende positiv oplevelse. Perfekt beliggenhed. Masser af fri parkering. Valuta for pengene. Venlig og god service.
Pěkný hotel!
Pěkný hotel, starší vybavení, průměrná koupelna. Všude čisto, skvělí recepční! Doporučuji a určitě, když bude potřeba se ubytujeme znovu
Stille sted, godt ophold
bra hotellrum
Bra pris värt alternativ
Sijainti reissua me varten oli hyvä. Minibaari puuttui, mikä oli huono juttu.
Hotel de excelencia
Muy bien ubicado, excelente buffet y personal muy cordial. Felicitaciones
Rekommenderas
Rent och fräscht med bra service
Bell'hotel !
Buon hotel, colazione abbondante e varia, buono il servizio.

Best Western Amedia Praha
Fint hotel, god service, venligt personale.
Neprijemna klimatizace bez funkcni regulace. Osvetleni posteli nevhodne umistene.
Alles soweit gut. Für die 2 Übernachtungen hat es gepasst
Perfekt hotell för genomresa
Rent och fräscht hotell utanför Prag. Gratis parkering i säkert område. Finns även garage. Helt ok frukostbuffé. Trevlig personal.
