Overall Ok however as non smoker I do not like walking into reception with heavy smell of Smoke from cigarettes. Missing make up meteor in bathroom

Ambasador Hotel is a really nice place to stay. Kind and helpfull staff, great room and a fantastic restaurant. Nis is a nice city, and Ambasador is right in the midle. We really enjoyed our short stay.

There was no ability to control the AC in my room. The control panel did not work. The internet is too slow, it's useless. $12 per day for parking is ridicules.

I’m not sure how they can get away with a “5 Star” title. This is a high 3-low 4 at best. The hotel is tall and impressive at first glance, as it towers over downtown Nis. Reception and service is mediocre, offering only basic niceties. The rooms are very large and beds are comfortable, but the amenities are not up to par. The lighting is horrible, despite their being several light switches that are unnecessarily complicated to use. There is no lighting in the storage area yet several different lighting options around the bed. Wifi was hardly useable. They lack basic amenities such as wine glasses and expected toiletries, only offering the larger pump bottles of generic body wash and shampoo in the shower. The room is overwhelmingly dark purple, which only makes the lighting issue worse. The room also smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. The carpet was stained where it meets the glass partition to the shower, as I am sure that years of moisture had made it through that barrier. Soundproofing is advertised, but we could hear and feel every step taken by the person/people staying in the room above us, as well as the traffic on the busy street below. The food at breakfast was pretty standard, but there was insufficient seating and service. All of the tables were being used and there were several guests waiting. There appeared to be only one poor employee trying to get dishes and find seating for the guests which resulted in difficulty having dishes replenished.

Great hotel in the very downtown

Unexpected luxury!

The hotel is located in the very center of Nis, right at the main sqare with pedestrian zone. In the courtyard there is a guarded parking place. My room was with a great viaw and a large king size bed which was very convenient. Aircondition worked during all the day, so the room was at nice 24 °C , outside 38! The gym is fitted with Techno gym devices, which is exceptional for a hotel in that area. And there is an apparatus for almost everything like in a high class fitenss studio. i was missing just a chest press and a löadder wall. (not really needed on travels) The breakfast was amazing! Much better that Radisson or Hilton standard with local dishes and fresh fruits. Perfect!

Although a very nice hotel and in the center, the staff is totally terrible. I will try and summarize, at it was quite nasty. 1. the security/valet guy who didn't know any English and was rude (even putting his hand on my steering wheel while I was parking). About the parking: extremely squeezed and you need to let your key at the reception. Furthermore, I found that somebody checked inside my car (dashcam removed from the windshield and papers moved). 2. Concierge at the reception who barely speaks English. They retained my ID, not making copy. Gave me back my ID only on my request. 3. No support in case you forget something at the hotel, even if you are asking to send you the forgotten item and invoice you or in case you are paying a courier to grab the item and send it back to you. All in all: don't recommend it and I will not book again with them.

The room size was excellent with a glass wall with fantastic view. The bed was a true king size unlike other establishments in Europe. The choice for breakfast was amazing, however it was not included in the room price, as advertised on your website.

Excellent Hotel

Overall the hotel facilities are nice.

I loved the location in the heart of the walking district, the service and food were excellent. we were there during the Orthodox Easter weekend and the hotel was not full , but the parking was almost at capacity. The beds, bathroom, and room itself was spacious and had an excellent view over the city even on the 7th floor. Highly recommended.

The best stay we had on our trip around Serbia. Would definitely stay there again. Spacious room, comfortable bed. Enjoyed also dinner at the inhouse restaurant. Breakfast is of course reduced due to covid safety measures but still offered a pleasant mix. Location is central and yet includes parking.

Everything was fine. The staff were very friendly and I recommend staying there. The only issue I had was with the cleaning lady barging into my room at 9 o’clock in the morning and waking me up, even though it had “do not disturb“ on the door. Lucky I was not naked. But I told her off and she sincerely apologised and said that she was informed by reception that I had already checked out so it was just an internal mistake apparently. Breakfast was good and it is about what you would expect from it’s 4 stars.

This hotel is quite new. It locates in the center of Nis. As the results, it is very convenient to walk to the attraction points in Nis. The room is quite large and comfortable. Don't forget to enjoy the breakfast here. This is the hotel that will let visitors come back again.

Best bathroom in Europe!

Best hotel of over 100 hotels I’ve stayed throughout Europe. Best shower, not only is big, has amazing pressure and the temperature actually works. Best room size and cleanliness, best beds and pillows. Good parking which is self serve. Internet a bit slow. Breakfast is absolutely amazing! Room service best to none! I’m very happy to write such a review. I wish them all the best and you (traveler) don’t hesitate for even one second. Book this hotel!

Bra hotell i Nis

Bodde 1 natt på hotellet. Rommene var veldig romslige og behagelige. Hadde flott utsikt over torget. De ansatte var veldig serviceinnstilte og hjelpsomme. Hotellet kunne ikke hatt mer sentralt beliggenhet. Hvis jeg skulle pirke på noe, så kunne jeg ha ønsket meg et litt bedre utvalg til frokost. Hadde vært fint med vann på rommet, og litt rart å ta betaling for å bruke kaffemaskinen på rommet. Og skulle ønske at spa avdelingen hadde basseng. Men alt i alt et bra hotell, som jeg anbefaler.

Lækkert hotel med for høj musik i restauranten.

Ville spise aftensmad i den ellers dejligt udseende restauration. Desværre blev der spillet musik i disko lydstyrke, hvilket man ikke ville ændre på, grundet de mange unge mennesker der var tilstede. Ikke til at finde en restaurant i nærheden uden mange decibel høj musik og jeg er ellers musikelskere, men der skal være forskel på, om det er musik til spisning eller sjov. Men ellers et meget lækkert hotel.
