Nice hotel, priced reasonably and with very engaging staff. The hotel is well located in a quiet street.
Very nice start to our vacation!
Beautiful property in a great are of Zurich close to the lake and many great restaurants. Very easy to get around using the tram and close to the main station. Lovely rooms and shared spaces, and so nice to have the outdoor space too. Staff were incredibly helpful. Fully recommend!
Great location with all the amenities at a reasonable price.
All facilities were excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. The roof top terrace was a great place to spend the evening.
Just a short walk to the lake and all the great food and shopping options on Seefeldstrasse. Ristorante Almalfi across the street is a big plus!
Amazing property. No air con in the rooms.
Recently renovated. Historic house limits in room amenities but they make up for it with some extras. 24 hr complimentary coffee and tea downstairs. Guest kitchen for those who want to eat in or store snacks. Pleasant decor. Fan provided in lieu of AC. Quiet area. Rooftop terrace. Rose garden with tables in back. Short walk to shoreline park on lake Zurich. 5 minute walk to trams direct to Bahnhof, grocery stores. Bathroom was small. There is an elevator, but raised threshold at room door and to bathroom may hinder mobility impaired folks. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Excellent location in the heart of Zurich, a stoneʻs throw from a charming walk along the lake where so many Zurchers love to gather, and restaurants and cafes galore nearby.
Good quiet place with walking distance for shopping and other activities. Very friendly staff.
Great stay!
We had a great quick stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and the location was very convenient to several tram stops and the lake was a quick 5 minute walk away. Parking is limited but there's a garage also only a 5 minute walk away so we didn't have any issues. The hotel itself was very clean and all workers we encountered were friendly. We loved the complementary coffee bar and the idea of the honor-system treats at the front (we didn't utilize this but thought it was a nice touch)! There's a great rooftop with a wonderful view and as an added bonus our dogs were able to stay with us at no additional cost. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend to anyone considering this hotel!
Spacious room and bath. Quiet area. Clean and friendly staff. Close to northern end of Zürichsee and Christmas markets!
Clean, comfortable and relaxing stay in a nice area. Hotel is approximately a 30 minute walk to the centre of Zurich along the lake but there is also a quick, cheap, and regular tram option less than 5 minutes away. Free (quality) tea and coffee options 24/7 on the ground floor were nice, but didn’t quite make up for the lack of kettle in the room, especially as we were on the 4th floor - having booked a room with a kitchenette would have expected this would be included (though Hotel did state they were unable to provide kettles due to the police requirements)
I’d stay here again
It’s well located and intimate. I wish that people didn’t smoke underneath the windows in our rooms. And though they provide fans it was pretty hot in the room because there is no air-conditioning. I understand it’s an older building but I wish that the cleaning crew would leave the fans on so that the air was circulating when I wasn’t there
very nice staff, good location near the lake, clean room and perfect breakfast
Great hotel in Zurich
Friendly staff, convenient location, overall enjoyable stay.
Zurich stay
Very clean, quiet. Charming. Bed could have been more comfortable. Breakfast was excellent but I had to pay extra. Staff was friendly and very helpful.
Lady First fabulous hotel
Hotel location is good and staff is friendly and helpful.
Great Experience
Well located and with outstanding service. Room was large enough for one person and nicely decorated. Within a mile or so from the main train station and one block from the river.
walking distance to town and a nice quiet area
plenty of restaurants surrounding the hotel and public transport passes nearby so you can take the tram into town. you can also walk around the lake and around the old town. nothing is really very far away. the hotel is very pleasant - quiet residential area and it has an honesty bar/café in the lobby so if you fancy a drink in your room you can organise that easily. the staff are very pleasant and welcoming. I never really spend much time at the hotel as I am always there for a conference, but If I was visiting for pleasure then I would certainly choose to stay there again.
Nice hotel if you don't mind noise
Great location in the Seefield area which is only two blocks from the lake and close to the Opera. The issue is that the hotel is very noisy. It is on a corner with two Italian restaurants, the floors are old and squeaky and the walls are thin too which leads to an even louder then normal environment. The hotel provides earplugs on each nightstand which really helped. On the positive side the staff is very helpful and friendly and the rooms are clean and bright.
Well situated close to the lake
This hotel in Seefeld is well situated close to the lake. it takes less than 5 minutes to go to the Badi. The room was clean. The beds small but we still had a good night sleep. If anything, the soundproofing of the doors can be improved as we got woken up by a child shouting in the corridor early in the morning on Sunday. The staff was very kind. There is a rooftop which certainly has nice views but I didn't go as is for ladies only.
Wonderful experience
The garden patio, coffee and honesty bar is amazing. For ladies upgrade to the wellness package to access sauna, steam room, relaxation room and beautiful roof top patio. Definitely will return some day!
Thin walls = noise from adjacent rooms
Stayed a couple of nights Good location, excellent staff However one of the walls was so thin one could hear almost everything from neighbouring room, tv noise, music and all. I think the hotel knows about this as ear foams were provided. Didn’t have more than 3-4 hrs of sleep over 2 nights, and that’s why I can not recommend this hotel at this time.
Would stay again
Great little hotel in a good location...walkable to old town. The room was large and comfortable. We were on the 3rd floor, which I think was probably the best because the only problem with the hotel is it has very noisy floors. There was no one above us but I feel sorry for anyone below us. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. I'd stay there again...on the 3rd floor.
Not great for the choice of food with limited options nearby. Parking was a pain had to park in a multi-storey 3 blocks away for $30 euro/night. I wouldn't recommend it if you have a car and any heavy bags.
Nice hotel at Old Town
Hotel was very nice. Close to Lake and Opera House. Rook was very clean. Beds could be more comfortable.
Lovely reception upon arriving fairly late in evening after long day if travel set the tone. While not a huge room , very comfortable , several windows to allow fresh air . GreSt bathroom . Loved neighborhood , esp after having stayed more centrally located last trip to Zurich . Quiet , bug close to lake , restaurants , sights ,
Fantastic experience
Great hotel, very relaxing with lovely staff. The location was great, right next to the lake and the facilities were amazing with a rooftop that had views of the Swiss alps. Wish we had stayed longer
I will choose it again if I go back to Zurich
Fine hotel with a great cause.
This is a very well-run hotel & very relaxing with all staff are women. Great location close to the river & a good selection of restaurants. Rooms comfortable & a good breakfast option.
The hotel was comfortable and the staff were excellent. I do not speak a word of German but the staff had amazing English and were very helpful. The hotel has relaxation facilities but we're only available to women so unfortunatley I couldn't enjoy these with my wife which was the only downside
Clean and convenient hotel
We often visit family who live in the area and almost always stay at Ladies First. It is convenient for the train station - close enough to walk to Stadelhofen in about 10 minutes ( alternatively trams run frequently) and therefore the shops. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the Zurich See (lake). Despite the name, men are allowed in the hotel but not allowed access to the spa but this doesn't bother me although my wife has used it in the past an said it was very good. Staff are pleasant, rooms are clean, toiletries etc are supplied, breakfasts are good (continental ). Only drawback is that the building is quite old and as a consequence the (bare) floorboards in all the different bedrooms that we have stayed in squeak - sometimes quite badly. I only mention this as a warning not to put anyone off.
Excellent hotel by the lake and park
Wonderful hotel and staff. I would stay here again. Very close to the lake and park. Only thing to note is that if you are male you are not allowed in the steam, sauna or rooftop. Otherwise I loved it!
Lady's First - Great Boutique Jotel
We have stayed in this hotel 5 or 6 times and it is our favorite place to stay when in Zurich
Heatwave and warm welcome
The hotel felt almost like a B&B, with warm and welcoming staff. Martina, especially, was kind and helpful. Breakfast was very good, with a nice view of the rose garden. It was very hot when we were there, with temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius. Although the room had good ventilation and a small fan, it still felt very warm and we found it hard to sleep because of the heat. We also woke up in a sweat every day. One great advantage of this hotel was its proximity to the lake - which was lovely.
Excellent hotel, great location and plane with very thoughtful details that bring a lot more comfort and enjoyment.
Simple and cozy
The receptionist was super friendly and I really liked the bathroom in my room. It's off the beaten road a little, but in a nice neighborhood. There is also a restaurant nearby as well. And yes, guys cam stay there as well.
Lovely, friendly stay.
I have a few nights in Zurich on my way to Austria for business and the Lady's First was the perfect base from which to explore the city and regroup for work. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. As a solo traveler, I felt very at home and confident with the guidance I received.
Friendly staffs
The staffs are really friendly but the room wall is a bit thin so you can hear some noises from the outside.
Nice hotel in a quiet, yet convenient location. Tastefully decorated, pleasant and helpful staff.
Best stay in Zurich!
It was my best stay. I will definetly come back if I have to stay again to Zurich. The staff was extremely nice and helpfull. The girl (blonde, sorry did not ask for the name)the first day introduced me to Zurich and what to do and visit, how the public transportation is working etc. The lobby has a firebone and coffee at any time. The hotel also has a saune to beat the Zurich cold. In 15 minutes walk you are in the more central area. You could easily have a run in the morning by the lake (if you are a runner of course) The rooms gave cable TV and high speed internet, two imporant elements if you are jet lagged. I want to highlight again on the staff who have been extremely usefull and are trilingual. I totally recommend that hotel!
Nice vibe. Good ethos.
Lady's First is an interesting name for ahotel and reflects the goal of making women travellers feel comfortable including the women-only sauna facilities which also seem to be available to local residents. All other facilities (including the Coffee Corner with comfortable seating, fire / candles and complimentary hot drinks and fruit) are available for all to use. The breakfast room is light-filled and the food fresh and delicious. The overwhelming vibe is the emphasis on art, and the decor has a nice vibe. The only complaint is that noise from rooms above (sqeaky floorboards) travels into the room - possibly more obvious because the place is otherwise so quiet. Handy stroll to the lake and oublic transport.
Tucked into charming neighborhood
Simple but clean modern rooms. Good bathroom. My room needed better clothes storage - only 1 high rod with hangers and 2 small high shelves over safe. Desk staff friendly but need better training on location of major and current attractions. Neighborhood excellent, quiet. 2 blocks to tram, 2 blocks to lake.
Lovely hotel and neighborhood
Wonderful small hotel in nice residential neighborhood. Excellent restaurants nearby and easy bus service to wherever you wished to go.
Great Stay, superb location and super staff!!
It was a great hotel experience at a great location with great charm interior and staff. The only thing that could/should improve is the wi-fi connection ... unfortunately this is one service we cannot get away from - everyone needs it, everyone wants it!! The litte backyard garden and the coffee-machine was perfect for the afternoon.
It was fantastic hotel than I thought.
The name is 'lady's first' so cute. But everything was very nice even men. The hotel works very delicate like a woman cleaniness, comfort, facility etc...
Hotel is lovely. Wifi doesn't work so well in the rooms. Would definitely stay here again.
Great hotel for the price
I really enjoyed my stay at Lady's First. The room was a decent size for the price and we had a private balcony as well as rooftop access. The location was amazing being only 2 short blocks from the river and around lots of restaurants and shopping. The one main downside is that there was no AC. We were mainly okay with leaving our windows open and having the fan on, but it would've been nicer to have AC. Also there wasn't a concierge and the receptionist was not very knowledgable about the area.
I was pleased with this hotel!
Hotel was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location seemed a little out of the way when we first arrived but just a block or two over is the river. We arrived on a Saturday and walked over to the river which was crowded with people!! We strolled down and realized it was not all that far from the city centre and all of the attractions. We stayed for two days and walked everywhere, although there was a tram stop very close to the hotel we didn't feel the need to use it. Only negative is the area is very quiet. If you want a coffee shop or a grocery store you have to walk quite a few blocks!
Not impressed at all
The good side - hotel is in a nice location, close to the lake. It has very friendly staff, and provides power adapter free of charge in each room. Caffee for breakfast is quite good. The negative side - internet connection is a nightmare, it fluctuates from ok'ish up to not usable at all (most of the time). The wooden floor is noisy - I could hear people on the room above me walking at 0:30 am like they were in my room. Breakfast selection not very rich, but if you are not very picky or looking for fancy stuff, you will find something. General summary - not impressed at all, next time I'll try another hotel.
Good little hotel
Nice hotel with very good service. Reception Closes in the evening so not good for late arrivals. Breakfast is good and expensive, but this is Switzerland where prices are high.
Happy lady on first trip to Zurich
Fantastic spa for ladies only. Amazingly clean and well-equipped. Three saunas and lovely chill-out area. Breakfast is not great value but little else available in neighbourhood.
Nice Hotel Great Location
Nice small hotel with breakfast. Great location 3 blocks from tram. Lots of eating places within 3 - 4 tram stops. Staff is friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast. Recommend it to those who don't need exercise facilities and on-site restaurant.
A splendid little hotel in a great neighborhood
What a gem! Impeccably clean, modern, welcoming. Highly professional staff, seamless operation. Great Italian restaurant across the street. Healthy breakfast in the morning! Loved it.
A great little hotel!
We loved our room and our stay at Lady's First! The location was perfect....convenient to the tram and everything we wanted to do. The room was clean, quiet, and equipped withh everything we needed to feel pampered! The breakfast in the morning was great with lots of options. Definitely stay here....both men and women.
Very nice hotel, good location!
The hotel turned out to be better than expected and in a very good location. It is on a nice and quiet street but still close to local amenities. its located just 3-4 mins walk from Zurich lake and also just 2-3 mins walk from the tram stop which serves trams 2 and 4. Both were very convenient routes. 4 goes to the old town and the Main Zurich HB station. My husband and I both loved this hotel. The staff are very friendly and approachable. They helped me each time I asked them for anything. Wifi worked, we didn't have any issues in our room on the 2nd floor and we neither had any issues regarding floor boards making any noise. The only 2 negative points I would highlight is that firstly we felt The bed was a little on the smaller side but it was manageable for 4 nights and there was no air con in the room but they resolved that by providing a desk fan which worked out fine as we visited in late September when the weather was Mild but not hot. Overall it's a gem of a hotel which I believe is rare to find in a Swiss/European city in the 3 star category.
Stay at Lady;s first design
Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel..Just few blocks from the Lake and other lovely places. I must say the most wonderful part of my stay was the help we got from the front desk lady whose name was Naomi. she gave us valuable information on the trips, dining places, transportation etc. she is simply amazing. Overall the hotel was kept well. I must say that the housekeeper would not replenish the shampoo and conditioner daily. But this was minor. Overall it was a great stay.. Room was quite nice and has high ceilings. the parquet floor creaks quite a bit. so remember to wear socks and walk gently.
Clean and nice!
My husband and I stayed at the Lady's First for 3 nights during a business trip. The front desk ladies were incredibly nice and check in was quick. Our room was on the third floor on the back side of the building. Size was adequate for our needs and very clean. Some noise in the morning out our window but since we were running on local time, it wasn't a problem. One of the main reasons I picked this hotel was that the linens and bathrooms looked new and clean and both of these did not disappoint. Bed was comfortable as well. Several reviews complain about the wood floors being noisy. Our room was carpeted so it wasn't an issue. Stairs were loud but who cares. The breakfast was fine, nothing special but filled our stomachs, and the lady working in there was pleasant. Free coffee in the reception area was nice too. The neighborhood was a bit more out of the way than I'd expected but we enjoyed walking and exploring so not a problem. The tram has a close stop as well if you prefer and is inexpensive. All in all, my expectations were met and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend as long as you aren't looking to be in the hustle and bustle of town.
Great hotel, great location!
Quiet, clean hotel with friendly staff. Very close to Lake Zurich!
Highly Recommended
Very comfortable, quiet hotel with good sized rooms. Location is good and the hotel is very good value especially if you can book in advance. The staff are fantastic.
Everything was nice except squeaky wooden floor.
Checked in a very spacious junior suite with 2 twin beds side by side and 1 sofa bed in August for 2 nights. The room was clean. Although there was no air-conditioning but it wasn't hot after sunset and in the morning. Neighbourhood was quiet. Tram stop and bus stop are pretty close. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was continental plus scrambled egg (warm) and hard boiled eggs (not warm). Wifi was strong and stable throughout the stay. The only downside to the room is the squeaky wooden floor.
Nice place
Quiet and clean
Convenient 5 minutes from trams. Lake view from balcony. Very clean, contemporary. Good breakfast. Squeaky floors only downside. 19 rooms so quiet and calm. Ask for a high floor.
Great Location
Stayed in August, over 90 degrees and there is no AC. It was still in the 80's when we returned to the room at 11 - very uncomfortable.
Nice hotel close to the lake!
Wife and I stayed for a week and had a room with a balcony. No A/C units in the hotel, but each room has a fan and you can keep the doors/windows open at night and it was perfect. I don't like being hot when I sleep, but this wasn't a problem at all. It was actually the opposite. Gives you a bit of cool, fresh air while you sleep. Break buffet was nice and offered just enough to get the day going. Staff was very friendly and every one that we encountered spoke English very well. It may not be in the city center, but it wasn't far and the walk through the neighborhood OR down the lake side wasn't bad at all. There's also trams close by if you dislike walking. Being away from city center meant that you can keep your windows and doors open and it was still very quiet outside. Would definitely stay here again without thinking twice. Our room had a power converter inside already so it was nice to have an extra one for my wife.
We have stayed for two days there. On our arrival we were granted with room upgrade, which was really nice. Room itself was not big but with the nice small balcony. It was very clean. Hotel is located very close to the lake and not far away from train station.
The tourist services are terrible
when I asked one of the staff about the interesting places in city she asked me if it is my first time in Zurich, and I answered her yes. So, gave me a map about the city, and I asked her to explain the map to me since it is my first time. At that time, other lady with blond hair and eye glasses interrupted us and told me to see the map. I feel it is one of the hotel services is to help the guests to enjoy thier stay not the opposite.
dont think twice
While a bit austere, there is almost nothing to complain about. Perfectly located (especially during a heat wave...right next to the badi). Breakfast is basic but lovely. Staff are helpful and kind. Unless you are looking for 5* comfort with a five* price, I highly recommend this hotel!
Affordable Option in Zurich
I enjoyed my stay at Lady's First - it's in a quiet neighborhood but has at least 3 yummy restaurants close by. It's relatively modern, very clean; in pricey Zurich, I feel satisfied that the cost of the room was in line with my expectations of quality. Pros: -location is in a quiet neighborhood (but then again much of Zurich is quiet) -reasonable price/quality ratio -nice bedding (double comforter - Swiss style) -nicely built out bathroom -breakfast was delicious Cons: -has euro bathtub/shower combo, where the shower head is near the middle of the tub. If you don't position yourself correctly, and if the glass folding pane isn't positioned properly, lots of water goes to the floor. -no AC (we were there during a record heat wave - but the room was furnished with a desk fan, which kept us cool in bed) -first level room had some noise from the neighborhood kids playing next door (but it taught me counting to ten in German while they were playing tag for an hour while I was sleeping off jet lag) -room was relatively small
Great Hotel with a great price
Wifi and Breakfast was good. Very friendly and helpful staff. Shame that it does not have a restaurant but there are many nearby thus the reason. Some decor needs a facelift but hey a very quiet location for a good nights sleep.
Don't let the odd name put you off!
What a delightful, charming hotel! The staff is friendly and helpful beyond belief. Location is perfect -- a residential street but only 2 blocks from major thoroughfares and transportation. Breakfast is wonderful with excellent service. Rooms are large and comfortable. Very clean and comfortable. I can't say enough about this wonderful gem!
Great hotel, great location
Very clean and nicely updated hotel in a beautiful neighborhood of Zurich. Very convenient to zurich's fantastic public transportation system, and the old town/city center is only a 15 to 20 minute walk. Lake Zurich is only a block away. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff was above and beyond expectations. Would definitely stay here when we return!
Three days in Zurich
Stay was enjoyable. Staff provided excellent service in helping with several travel problems.
We have stayed there three times now. Very good location for what we have to do in Zurich. Comfortable beds. Free wifi. Very nice breakfast. Good staff.
Weekend in Zurich
The hotel is in a good location, a short walk from the city center. The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was very good. The staff was polite and helpful. I'd stay there again.
Close to the lake.
Clean hotel located in a quiet and nice area. Basic comfort but reasonable price for Zurich.
Elegant hotel close to Lake
Hotel is set in a quiet residential street. Beautiful spacious room. Excellent breakfast. Efficient and friendly staff. Few minutes walk to lakeside and from there to the old town (20 mins).
Very nice boutique hotel in a great location
Excellent location with short walk to tram. Hotel renovations very nicely done -preserving old charm while adding modern conveniences. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved our stay. Already rebooked for our return stay in Zurich.
Highest recommendation
This lovely hotel is perfectly situated in a very nice, quiet area within walking distance to the centre of Zurich, and close to tram stops. It is sparkly clean with good design detail and the staff are delightful, friendly, courteous and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent as well. Ladies First is my favourite hotel and I give it my highest recommendation.
close to the lake, nice staff, noisy wooden floor
Good: Clean, good location and nice staff. Bad: Average overall experience compared to room rate. Room wooden floors are very very squeaky. Unbelievable at night.
Nice boutique hotel
In a very expensive city, this is a good bet. My only gripe(s) is that the bathroom towels are worn out and on the first night there was no hot water but this had been repaired for the second night.
Perfect
Perfect
Very nice
Very enjoyable stay. Clean rooms and helpful staff. Would use again.
close to lake
lovely hotel close to the lake and a short walk into the centre of Zurich.Beautiful Hotel our room was very tastefully furnished and decorated. The staff very nice and friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was a very nice buffet with the most delightful scrambled eggs and fresh coffee just the thing for a cold morning.
Hotel off Bellevue place
Hotel rooms are not as described in the advertisement. Bathroom was for handicapped persons, although not demanded, very uncomfortable. No one at the front desk around 11:30 PM. Very disappointing experience, although staff was nice on check out and breakfast good.
Very central. Well-served by 2 trams.
Well served by 2 trams, nos 2 & 4 from a nearby street. Good buffet breakfast. Friendly staff.
Great hotel very close to everything
The hotel is perfectly situated near the centre of town but just away enough to be quiet. It is also within a short walk of one of the most beautiful lakeside parks in the whole area. The area it is in also has very good shops and restaurants close by.
A Lovely hotel in Zurich
Lady's First was the perfect place to stay while visiting Zurich. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to check in mid morning when we arrived. Upon request a cab to the airport was arranged when we checked out. The rooms were clean and well taken care of. The breakfast room was pleasant and the food varied and ample. Lady's First is less than 2 blocks from the lake promenade and an easy walk to the center of the city and the old town. Our stay was pleasant.
Nice location
This hotel is in a nice neighborhood in a good location with a one block walk to tram #4 to take you to and from the train/tram station. Easy walk to Lake Zurich, The Opera House and not that far to walk into Old Town. We loved the restaurant " Tidbits" nearer the Opera house that had wonderful salads and hot dishes at reasonable prices. The hotel...Clean, friendly, good price for the area....Very, very squeaky floors....The frosted glass bathroom walls really lit up the whole room if someone got up in the middle of the night. I don't think I would stay here again if I came to Zurich again, unless I was by myself. I'd try somewhere else first. However, the staff was great, especially the woman at the breakfast buffet. There was a good varied selection of food at breakfast.
A hidden gem
In an outstanding location near the lake in central Zurich and with large, clean and modern rooms, this hotel is an excellent choice for anyone traveling for leisure or business. The staff were friendly and check-in was quick. Our room was quiet, had excellent free wi-fi connection, and the coffee maker with morning snacks as well as the mini-bar were very well stocked. The bathroom was very large and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will look to stay there again in our next visit to Zurich!
Relaxed Zurich
From the airport to the hotel takes about 30 minutes using the direct train and a tram ride. We stayed here for the European Athletics Championship (as did a few others) and could reach the stadium from a tram stop only one street away. We were delighted by the hotel's location, its facilities and its helpful and friendly staff. As you would expect in Switzerland it was beautifully clean and well run and the breakfast was a delight. The hotel is situated only five minutes from the main part of Zurich using either the excellent tram network - but so close to the lakeside that it makes for a pleassant walk either morning or evening and its also where you can access the open air cinema, swimming and boating. Locally there are plenty of good restaurants if you dont want to go into the town centre and also a good range of shops.
My stay at Ladies First hotel
I considered staying at 3 other hotels but I am so glad I settled on Ladies First because it was wonderful. I was greeted with kindness and helpfulness and I really liked my room on the 4th floor. It was super clean and had everything I needed from tea pot to free wireless internet. Bed was comfortable too. I had to check out before breakfast and the clerk at the front desk made me an espresso at my request. Do not hesitate to book here.
Excellent Hotel
Terrific hotel at a very reasonable price for Zurich. The room was appropriately small for Europe. It was a short picturesque walk to the city center. Breakfast was included and very nice. I would stay there again!
helpful staff
above expectation
Nice hotel.
Nice hotel. Convenient location. Lovely breakfast.
Very nice boutique hotel with a goog design
Short and good stay. Breakfast for business people too late! Should be from 6.00.....
Boutique Hotel
Lovely staff - convenient location near tram service - good breakfast.
Alma Hotel | Hotel in Zürich | Travala.com
I loved staying at Alma. I was a bit skeptical at the time of the booking because some reviews and the pictures don’t do justice to this beautiful place at all. The place is clean, well decorated, the room is spacious, the breakfast was top of the line, the staff is friendly, the location is prime. Very close to the lake and just 15 min walk to the old town, a bit more, the train station. They wrote a cute note and offered us a bottle of sparkling wine for New Years Eve. We watched the fireworks from their 360 view rooftop. Perfection all around. I will DEFINITELY go again and stay right at Alma when I return to Zurich.
