Run down, unkept, decaying wood in bathroom. Too many better options to stay for elsewhere. HUGE deposit at check-in!

shopping was amazing hotel was close to lincoln st. We had no hot water and hotel did nothing about it. I talked to manager and all he said was sorry. $450. a night and no hot water

Great area, close to the beach

My room was quite small but clean and conveniently located . Close to airport and part of the Art Deco architecture Miami is famous for.

For me it was a great deal, they upgrade room and let me in one hour earlier. Still have construction but didn’t bother me. Nice stuff, thanks

Stayed here for one night before a cruise. Overall the property was nice.. great location walkable to ocean dr and busy area with shops and restaurants. Room itself was well appointed and clean but bathroom was small and could use some work.

Ablion is an older hotel. Rooms vary. There is no heat in the rooms. Maintenance seems to be a just get by effort. However, the rooms are comfortable, and very clean.

I had a great stay at the Albion. As a lone traveller, the free drinks reception was awesome

I stayed one night and it was really great. Clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Highly recommend.

Shaggy in South Beach

Like most hotels I have stayed with at South Beach, the lobby is amazing but the rest of the hotel is shaggy. The check-in was perfect but when I got the room there was no remote. During my search in less obvious places I ran across a lot of hairs, dust, random items…it appears the rooms are not thoroughly cleaned very often. The staff quickly brought up a remote. The elevators, hallways and rooms are pretty beaten up. There is very little natural light and almost as little inside light. The room that is most poorly lit was the bathroom. A single recessed light barely illuminated a dingy but spacious area. The toilet had a seat but no lid so it yawned up at you as you brushed teeth. The AC ran continuously and the thermostat did not seem to work. My choices were to turn it off which resulted in feeling smothered or leave it on and freeze. The screen said 75 degrees but I am pretty certain the room state do the low 60s. I like a cooler room but I found myself not wanting to be in there any longer than necessary. There was free coffee which was good and breakfast was available for purchase but I did not dine there. Everyone from the desk to housekeeping to maintenance staff were friendly and helpful. In most places, this would be a terrible review but in Miami, this is average in my experience. The location is good. There are many options there (I have yet to find one that is affordable that i would stay at twice) and I would pass on this one next time.

This is definitely a 2star hotel. Mark at the front desk was lovely! Gave us great tips on where to park (less than 2 blocks away). The property itself was crumbling. Small room with paper thin walls. Bathroom in dire need of an update (tiles cracked and grout is filthy). Wifi and cable tv barely worked. Pool area is completely under construction. Can’t even sit in a lounge chair. Lobby is nice, but that’s about it. Oh, and the location is AMAZING!! Wouldn’t stay again, but it’s very convenient if you just need a place to sleep after seeing a show at the Fillmore.

We enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again. The beach was within walking distance and so were multiple restaurants. We enjoyed Happy Hour Tony is the best

I arrived in the morning after a red-eye flight and was grateful for the complimentary coffee that was available in the Mezzanine breakfast area. I was able to store my luggage so I could go explore South Beach for a few hours. My room was available early in the afternoon and I was given a complimentary room upgrade for my one-night stay. Clean, comfortable and the staff are all friendly and accommodating.

Second time visiting, great location. Small rooms.

Property needs maintenance. No coffee makers in rooms and assigned shared room when not requested.

The staff went above and beyond to get us into the room a bit earlier and were attentive and friendly. The hotel was beautiful. Only down side was the pool was closed for renovations which was not disclosed until after the reservation was made. Would definately stay here again.

The pool was under construction but no one cared to mention that when we booked so we couldn’t swim! The receptionist said “ours prices are so low now to reflect that”. Seriously?! Your prices are right up there with Lowe’s! The beds were like hammocks so I had to take the mattress off the bed and put it on the floor for some back support (it really helped). On a positive note, it’s close to lots of restaurants!

Proximity to main attractions.

Great Location, not far from the beach. Close to shops and restaurants and public transport. Only negative was the pool not open due to upgrade. Lovely old art deco hotel.

I went to Miami Beach the night before a cruise, stayed at the Albion, and it was PERFECT! The front desk staff was wonderful, the room was EXACTLY what I needed, and the location cannot be beat!

It was ok. Their pool is under construction and it’s not very well communicated on Expedia or their website. The pictures of a beautiful pool are still displayed, and it’s listed in amenities. The fitness center is super small with nothing much in it. Outdated hotel. There are better options in Miami beach

This is the second time i stayed in this hotel and i always love to stay on this hotel. Relaxing place to stay. The room is nice and clean. And its very convenient to go to the beach walking distance abd i could also go jog early in the morning in boardwalk. So many choices of place where you can eat. Shopping area is walking distance and i am enjoying my stay on this hotel. I will definitely go back to this place again soon!

Overall the hotel was not bad as it's convenient to everything on South Beach. The pool was delayed in renovations when we were there so that sucks for the kids and they didn't offer any dining/drink vouchers for compensation. The safe in our room doesn't work as well but all in all the staff was nice and friendly and a cool little bar they have downstairs.

Everytime i came to Miami Albion hotel is always my place i love the place is not fancy but it has all the necessary , quite, clean amazing staff and enjoyable, unfortunately the last 2 times that i came the pool wasn't able because is under construction but is ok it doesn't bother me at all i really recommend this place you wont be dessapoint

Came For SuperCon And Had A Super Stay!

My family and I had a fantastic stay at The Albion! We came down for SuperCon at the Miami Beach Convention Center and the Albion was located just a few blocks away making it very convenient for us to get there. I was met by the front desk attendant who immediately upgraded us to a penthouse suite, which was a very welcome surprise! Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. The penthouse had an amazing view and was a corner room with windows that went around nearly the entire room! The housekeeping staff was amazing as well. They were able to very quickly bring up a fresh set of sheets for the pullout sofa and set it up super fast and made it look just as nice as the king bed in the other room! I also had a great experience at the bar with the bartender Tony who makes a phenomenal mojito :) Tony and his trainee Liv made for some good company to hang out with. We will definitely be returning to the Albion. The service was 5 stars plus and the location is prime for exploring Miami Beach. There are numerous amenities that we did not have time to use but definitely look forward to on the next trip!

I don’t like hotels where you can move the elevator with out a card key.

It is within walking distance of a lot of shops and restaurants. Its also very close to the convention center and botanical garden.

The pool is out of commission. The Expedia description did not say the pool was unavailable. I could have picked a different hotel inn the same location with a working pool. It’s too hot outside in Miami not to have a pool to get into. Very disappointed.

Overall the stay was convenient because it was near Lincoln shopping center and delicious restaurants! Also the beach was close enough to walk too, disappointing to have known once I checked in that the pool was being rebuilt and the bar was not open. Was really looking forward to relaxing in the pool and having a drink in hand. Overall had a good experience with the room, the decor was beautiful.

Racially profiled, I am a young African American solo traveler who at the time was temporarily disabled I was put in the back of the hotel in a dark corner near the emergency exit mind you I was in a large boot and could barely walk went to front desk and it was immediate attitude from front desk host he told me he didn’t have a manager, then stated if he did contact his manager his manager would say the same thing told me it wasn’t another room available closer to an elevator but as i was sitting in the lobby waiting for Expedia customer service 2 Caucasian young women came in was giving a free upgrade and was there for the same amount of time i was and not to mention i am a silver member, once i approached the front desk and was vocal about what had just happened he tried to make me pay him $50 to change my room and stated it was a inconvenience for him to go in the third party system and change what rooms were available in order to move me

Very Nice and Clean Property!! Didn't get to use the new pool but it will be available in July for use. I stayed here for the xbiz event going on near by and it made it convenient for parking and walking. They have a restaurant on the second floor and a gym!! I enjoyed this property very much!!
