Everything was good. Yoga classes were too few so during my 5 days I caught not one class. Evening entertainment is repeated. For example they should have a more versatile performers for the people who like to hear Arabic or oriental music

One of the best resorts in salalah

Superb experience

Delightful place with amazing staff. Pristine beach and wonderful pool and spa. You feel the stresses of life disappear as soon as you walk through the door. But again the staff are what really made the difference nothing was too much trouble and my thanks to Cory, Kitty, Tum and Ali in particular.

The place is amazing. Excellent view to the beach. House keeping was not good. Even tough we have been out the hole day, nothing has been done in our room! Also, they did service to our room, they forgot to remove the old stuff. The crew is very nice, however very slow to react to any of your request. Overall a good experience, but we will definitely never use this hotel agin.

A fine resort on a beautiful beach

Wonderfully located resort, dedicated and committed staff at guest-relation and at breakfast/Mekong restaurant. The rooms are nicely furnished and clean but some items are in need of an oberhaul (e.g. wooden venetian blinds in shower). Food choices at lunch/dinner are currently limited to international and asian cuisine due to the temporary closure of the Arabic restaurant. We loved the food and service at the asian restaurant but really missed decent arabic food. Beach is beautiful, fishing activities (net hauling by local fishermen) sometimes takes place in the afternoon, including lots of 4x4 driving on the beach during low tide (although driving on the beach is forbidden - theoretically). Pool is great for swimming, though the water is not heated. On days with cold winds from the North, the water in the pool can considerably cool down. The climat in Salalah is very pleasant unless the wind blows from the north for several days in a row (then, humidity can go as low as 15%). Since there are no restaurants in close vicinity to the resort, it might be a good idea to consider either booking with half-board or renting a car. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Beautiful resort, very nice location, and friendly staff. Andrea, the resort manager is very present: we saw him a lot during our stay, at check-in, during to the drinks reception, walking around the resort and speaking to guests to make sure everything was OK. The pool villas are very nice and spacious: but please don’t book them if you have a small child who cannot swim! A toddler almost drowned in the villa across from ours: one minute of inattention and catastrophe was only narrowly averted. In any case the main pool is great, very large and not very busy, and we ended up not using our small private pools much. The beach is amazing and also good for swimming. Go dolphin watching: it’s a great morning tour, we were lucky and saw 8 whale sharks as well as many dolphins. Food quality is very good, particularly at Mekong (Asian): the Wednesday Asian buffet is a must. Pool/beach menu disappointing (we ordered twice from there and regretted our orders both times). Better sit at the restaurant by the beach for lunch and enjoy some nice grilled meat or fish or a salad. Would definitely go back.

Great location but disappointing hotel

Good location and beach, but unfortunately the hotel does not live up to its billing or price. We were originally downgraded when we checked in, but with no reference to this by the staff or a reimbursement of the difference in price. It was only when we queried the quality of the room that they admitted this. Overall, the hotel felt a bit tired, and doesn't look to have had much maintenance work done it. For example, whilst the gardens were always looking good, the infrastructure, including beachside cabanas, had the roofs and curtains falling off. Attention to detail and cleanliness were also occasionally missed; for example, a complimentary hairbrush left in our room was full of someone else's hair. Some members of staff were excellent, but the majority missed orders or spent most of their time on their phones. The food was also very poor quality.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights in a garden villa with a private pool. This is one of the best hotels in all of Oman, with spacious modern beautifully appointed accommodations; excellent varied breakfast buffet; pleasing staff; and fabulous pool and beach area. I would highly recommend this property without reservations.

Great hotel and great staff. We had a small hiccup during checkin but as soon as the staff realized it they were very professional in fixing it. Great beach, great pool. Amazing rooms.

Excellent resort with the best service! Room was pretty with a fabulous view. They were very helpful as we had a late flight and allowed us a late checkout. I would highly recommend this resort!

Could not have been more pleased. We were upgraded to the pool villa when we arrived. Everything about the stay here is highly recommended. Heavy traffic during Kareef made getting to/from the resort a bit difficult during rush hours but everything at the resort was perfect!

Fantastic stay. Great rooms and villas and the food in all outlets is outstanding, with 3 to choose from. Mekong, the Asian restaurant is particularly good for evening, Al Mina was our lunch choice every day. Amazing beach and pool. We will be back.

Nice hotel with wonderful beach

The best in this place is the lovely and very helpful staff who is looking after you and all you need. The restaurants are nice and the food is excellent. Only issue is that you are surrounded by workers the whole day who are fixing some stuffs or cleaning the pool, or cutting the grass with all the noise. Probably because the hotel is new and still need some adjustments. Don't miss the spa.

nice hotel, opened in 2016, beautiful beach and warm water. At some places in the hotel, the wifi wasn't strong enough and it was a bit slow.
