Not alot of options in Digby for overnight accomodations, however The Admiral Inn has been our go to on our trip to Digby. Room was clean, quiet with a balcony to sit out on. We checked in a little later in the evening with a reservation and it was fast and efficient. Will be back.

An older hotel , could use updated carpet,outlets,decor . We had a balcony with a magnificent water view.

The view was excellent . You could see the sun coming up over the water

good spot ,central location Bathroom shower needs a grab bar Doorway is difficult. The large aluminum piece in the doorway is tough on feet esp as the storm door is closing.

Amazing view!

What a darling place to stay, and the view! The staff were amazing and the restaurant was so delicious. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Not enough outdoor seating. No hot water in the morning

The bathroom is set up strangly. No door on the side where the sink is. The rooms are very aged.

Enjoyed our stay here. The only problem we had for the two nights was being below a heavy Walker. No peace from the people upstairs. Try and book upstairs room. Other then this the hotel is wonderful!!

Great place to stay and particularly if travelling to Saint John, New Brunswick.

We really liked this place. Could use some chairs outside the door and some tiny touches inside and out like getting rid of spiderwebs outside and some caulking etc inside would be nice overall a great stay.

Adequate stay near the ferry to New Brunswick

This Inn is designed as a motel. It is well located, very close to the ferry to New Brunswick, which is convenient. Each room has a view of the bay, probably amazing when there is no fog to hide some of it. Their Wi-Fi is really really slow. Their rooms need some remodelling; they did a few changes but they are clearly outdated. So a convenient 1 night stay in a little city which needs some TLC but has a couple of good seafood restaurants.

The room was comfortable and decorated very tastefully. The. Bathroom was spotless and attractive. I liked the layout, with a door to separate the sink and toilet areas. There were plenty of pillows and a medium-form mattress. This property was a true winner!

Wifi was so spotty could not remain connected on computer or tablet. Cockroach in the shower. Dated furnishings and bedding. Breakfast too expensive.

Staff were lovely, gorgeous view of Digby Harbour. Room appeared clean but tired furnishings, older bathroom with worn tub/moulded grout in shower. Amenities were fine. Very quiet area.

Hook on bathroom door was broken and hair dryer did not work. Also not enough electrical outlets for devices. Overall, a good stay. Good location.

Our room was somewhat dated, but comfortable and clean. The view (second floor room) was outstanding.

The view of the Bay was beautiful! Close to the ferry, and only 5 minutes from downtown Digby. Very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely would stay here again.

The staff were all friendly and professional, and they took care of my son & me. I had misplaced my phone, and they were very helpful, above & beyond... Sherry on staff was particularly helpful & accommodating. Location is convenient with a great view!

We absolutely loved the Admiral Digby..great location to Digby, and the ferry. Very clean, cosy, felt like home with a screen door. Convenient drive up to our room. Wonderful view and a very reasonable price. Lovin it.

You get what you pay for

Expected this to be a motel style room that was out dated. It sort of looked that way Was very clean Room was VERY hot, opening window didn’t help with humidity. Fan in room was super loud and hard to sleep when it ran. We had a room with two queens. The one closest to window had damp sheets so we moved to other bed and it was better. Shower pressure was great Town of digby had a few highlights but not sure I’d stay again, sort of out of way for what you get as a tourist.

It was very clean and room was spacious. The food is also very good!!! I would return any time :)

First time staying here at the Admiral Digby Inn. Our room was very clean. The staff was very friendly and a very convenient short drive into town . The bed was a little too hard for me but everybody has own personal preference, No big deal. We did have a mini fridge and a coffee machine but would’ve liked to have had a microwave. The rooms are showing wear, it still has the old carpet which no hotels or Inns should have carpets anymore in my opinion,and some of the wallpaper is starting to peel, and the ceiling has the old textured ceilings that are cracking. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it to others and definitely would go back.

This is our third or fourth time coming since 2014.. Never disappointed!! The views are awesome and it is so peaceful.. Thank you!!

A lovely facility in a lovely area! A view of the bay at sunrise is worth the stay alone....and so quiet!

Nice stay

This was an older place but clean, comfortable and well located. We did laundry here and for $5 we did two loads washing and drying. The machines worked well and we had a beautiful view while doing laundry.

Admiral Digby Inn is efficient and met all our expectations. A special shoutout to Sam at the counter—her warm smile and polite manner made our stay even more pleasant. Thanks for the great service

Enjoyed getting off the ferry and being right at the inn. We were there when the restaurant was closed so we drove the short distance into Digby for meals.

The reception staff was excellent- she was very friendly, efficient, and accommodating. We stayed in a cottage which was well equipped. Had a kitchen and living room. The bed was comfortable but the chesterfield/ hide-away-bed and chairs were old and really needed to be replaced. There was a musty smell inside of the place which did improve some when we aired it out. It was really nice to be able to have a delicious breakfast in the hotel restaurant.

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay, after our whale watching tour on Briar Island. We arrived late but check-in was quick and staff was friendly. The room was as older but clean. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with a beautiful view. We could stay again.

Perfect view

We had an excellent stay, staff are very nice and knowledgeable. Very quiet even with it being full, beautiful views from our room.

Beds were very comfy, good ac, very quiet road, good clean shower, room decor was hard to describe… dated in a perfect way? Felt like I was staying at my aunts house in the early 90’s, in the most comfortable way. Very colonial seaside decor and I loved it all. The view of Digby Basin was unbeatable. Pan fried scallops for breakfast for my meal on site, with a stunning view? Yes please! Would definitely stay again.

The property was very close to downtown. It had a nice view of the bay when it wasn’t foggy. Very close to the ferry. The restaurant is closed on Monday but the staff put out toast, coffee and tea in the morning which we appreciated.

Great option for accommodation in Digby!

I just finished a long road trip. I stayed at several different places during that time, including large chain hotels. Honestly, this was overall the best experience out of all of them. More affordable than the larger chains too. The room was clean. No nasty surprises like I have seen at other hotels/motels! Everything in there seemed to be well taken care of. My window had a great view of the bay too. Housekeeping and front desk staff were all friendly and responsive if I had questions. There is a diner in the inn where breakfast is served each day. Breakfast is not included in the price, but I found it to be good value for the money. If you are staying at the inn, they give you a discount on buying your breakfast each day. Great location too. I needed to catch the ferry heading out of Digby, and the inn is literally just up the street from where the ferry docks. The only negative I can think of is the WiFi kept cutting out during my last night there. Couldn't hold a connection for more than 5 minutes. The other days were fine. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Overall a great a place to stay. Beautiful view and wonderful town. The bathroom could definitely be redone - the bathtub was stained and there was mold on the tile surround.

What a gem! It was our first time staying at the Admiral Digby Inn and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Spacious. The staff both on the front desk and dining room were pleasant. The breakfast was very good. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. We felt lucky to have such a view from our room. Definitely consider this place if your staying in Digby

If you are planning to visit Digby for whale watching, or if you are taking the ferry to St John, this hotel is a great place to stay. Probably, an older business, but the bathrooms have been upgraded and have a walk in shower and everything is meticulously clean. Many of the rooms look out onto the water. The staff are friendly and helpful. A variety of breakfast items is available at a cost Tuesday thru Sunday. The restaurant is closed on Mondays so there are breads and croissants which can be toasted, available to guests. Tea and coffee is also available. This is complimentary to guests. The hotel is minutes from the ferry - very convenient. There was a fridge and coffee maker in the room.
