The property need renovations. Especially the rooms, the mattress was terrible and the bathrooms too. The staff friendly and great service

Hello, This property is great, from the facilities to the staff. Cristina y Martina in the front desk, to the great bartenders at "The Suite Bar", Flor, Daniel, Cristian, and Fabio, they were spectacular. the views from the bar are spectaculars, also from the room. Don't be shy to book a "city view", you won't be disappointed, great city view. The breakfast at "Dia i Nit" was the best breakfast I had in all my Marriott stays, delicious and beautiful salon. Transportation is unbelievable, from tons of taxis on front, to the Tran a few steps from the property. Uber is also very quick and convenient. Overall, my experience in this property was spectacular. Thanks to all in AC Forum BCN. Regards.

It is a great area, the buses and taxi's are always around for you and the mall is across the street.

Staff was very friendly and helpful.would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Barcelona.

I am happy with our stay at AC Hotel Barcelona Forum. We got early check in and late checkout. Receptionists were pleasant. Only thing that needs work is your bar/restaurant service. The servers were nice but lack of speed and noticing we need drinks or menu. Sometimes we waited so long to get our drinks and food by the pool. Location is great, right across Diagonal mall that has good shopping options and plenty choices at their food court. 10-15min Uber anywhere to city/Barcelonetta area. We would come again

The property is well maintained and upgraded. The rooms are average size (not spacious) but clean. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is far from city center so you have to cab or bus in- not walkable. There is a nice waterfront area at walking distance and mall right around the corner but the location felt a bit far from the main hub. I went for an event at the convention center right next to it so perfect for that. Nice breakfast buffet and restaurant with water view. There was nightly music being played nearby that was a bit distracting for sleep. Hotel itself is very nice.

Aside from a weird smell of sewage, hotel was excellent. Great staff, amazing service. Right next to the CCIB where my convention was.

Everything was great except for the fact that my room had no air conditioning. I had to constantly keep the windows open and it still wasn't getting cold enough. Even at night, it got loud at times but I had to keep the windows open to get fresh air or my room would be boiling hot

I visited barcelona for business event, AC Hotel was closest one. Hotel is nice and clean. I had dificulty to get late checkout, after few days of trying to get confirmation, i booked hotel next to it to avoid hasle.

Good location but room does not meet expectations

Location is excellent, as it is connected to International Barcelona Convention Center; within 10 minutes walking distance to the metro. Hotel room – a. While it is small, it is functional. The door frame is NOT secured to the secondary door lock. I was told that such dislodge of door frame is okay. After escalation, I was offered a change of room. b. On my first night, there was someone knocking on my door at 5am, which is when I realised there is no peephole to see who is knocking. c. The bed is alright, but pillows are too soft. d. I feedback that the room is dusty – see photos. The room service personnel came over and dust it off using a feather duster, and the dust flew right into my wine glass. ☹ They should have used a vacuum cleaner. Buffet breakfast - The menu does not change at all for all the days I was there. The selection was also limited.

Nicely situated for the diagonal area and the beaches. far frm the center rooms are nice and nice view on the meditter. breakfast a lot of varieties, some were dried. bathroom : if you are tall, expect to have water all on the floor the glass windows do not protect anything put towel on the floor. all along.

The hotel is clean and has lovely views of both the beach and the city. It is slightly worn now, stayed in a suite on 15th floor - floor lamp broken, wallpaper peeling but nothing terrible. Biggest problem as with many other tall hotels the lifts were really slow- timed longest wait 6 minutes 3rd world problems though

Left my wallet at the bar one night and the wallet was returned but the cash was gone.

I had mentioned that it was our 39th wedding anniversary and the hotel gave us a bottle of champagne and some macaroons. It was a very nice touch.

Not every electric socket seemed to work properly while I was there but enough worked to not be a serious problem. Great staff in room service, cleaning, front desk, and dining areas.

The building was clean and comfortable and the staff was pleasant and professional. The location left a lot to be desired and it was way overpriced.

The AC Barcelona is an excellent hotel. My room was excellent, cleaning was excellent, amenities were great. The thing that will get me back to this establishment, though, was the staff. I cannot single out any one particular employee. They were all friendly, courteous, and efficient.

Everything about this hotel was great to include the location. Local shops, a mall, nearby public transportation, and the staff are all one needs for a great vacation. The only much needed upgrade is the mattress. Hearing and feeling the bed coils was not a good experience while on vacation. Could never get comfortable and woke up with back pains due to the bed. Please invest in getting better mattresses.

Wonderful city

Location is great for conference centre but a bit too far out of town for sightseeing. Having said that-the walk along the shore (albeit about 3miles) was lovely.

Lots of maintenace problems (AC, Save, AC, toilet flush, 2nd AC,....) made us change the room several times. At the end we gave up.

At 3:00AM in the night we were awaken by a hot sweat due to the air conditioner not working properly. Discussed with the hotel staff and we were informed that the hotel shuts the air conditioner off at night from either Midnight to 7:00am or 3:00AM to 7:00AM depending upon what staff you talked to. We did not sleep well for two nights and left before our third night to the Hilton next door. The Hilton amazingly left the air conditioner on all night and we slept like babies!

Well located close to the beach only a 5 minute walk and only a 10-15 minute taxi ride to Barceloneta, 10 minute bus ride to Sagrada Familia. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. Very clean hotel. We would definitely stay there again!

Room smelled like sewers a bit. But went away. I reserved 3 rooms and none of the 3 were ready at 3:15pm. But we enjoyed our stay

Evrything was alright

Check in is a nightmare during busy times. Long queues. Appreciate its busy, however, there is no real system set up for making it flow quicker. Great rooftop pool. Gym pretty good too.

Great hotel

Great hotel, perfect location overlooking the sea, with the beautiful Science Museum next door and a shopping mall right across the street. We could even see La Sagrada Familia and Torre Agbar from the top floor. Taxis are available right outside the hotel. The breakfast was great, and the staff was friendly. We fully recommend it and will probably go back.

The property was excellent. It is a first class operation, and we were very impressed by the service provided. Check-in was quick and smooth, and the restaurant/bar was outstanding. We got the room we wanted with a view of the Mediterranean Sea, and the bar had a view of both the Mediterranean and Barcelona city. I highly recommend staying at this hotel, and we will do so on our next visit...

Disappointed

The hotel is old and far from the city. We chose the hotel for its pool, but it was a lot smaller than we expected (there were no more than 10 loungers for the whole hotel). Room serviced passed at 7,30 in the morning and never left any additional coffe, which we later found out had an extra charge.

I was greeted with a smile. I felt comfortable and the checkin was smooth. Asked for thing to do and Vincente waa so pleasant and gave us perfect recommendations. Awesome job Vincente!

It was great location. I had a beautiful view of the ocean.

The nicest part is the roof top pool, bar and restaurant, with 360 degree stunning view of Barcelona. The beach (Platja de Livante) is within 10 minutes walking distance. There is diagonal mar mall across the street, very nice mall with good restaurants.

Room was very small. Bed was very uncomfy and made a lot of noise whenever you move on bed. No soundproof for bathroom. You can hear everything from your bed. Staff was nice. Wouldn't come back to stay at AC again.

Couples getaway

It was a great hotel, a quick walk to all the beaches, across the street from the mall and grocery store. It was a perfect hotel. The only thing is the pool deck can be a little crowded so just keep that in mind if you’re booking with a group

Quite Dissappointed

Upon check I’m I was informed that there were no King Size Sea View Rooms available.. although I booked early.. Quite the disappointment and the bed was very uncomfortable! Additionally I requested additional pillows and towels ahead of my arrival... not complied with or present. Two additional requests were made during my stay

many arrangement problems make the new and comfortable hotel degrade. downside: 1. no menu for room service in room 2. no slipper in room 3. cold and bored breakfast arrangement 4. 512Kbps or below speed of rubbish wifi is offered 5. the digital lock of a safe box with digital bugs is arranged to me 6. only arrange one brush tool for a couple in my room in few days 7. only one small tooth paste is arranged for a couple for one night and morning use. really not enough to use 8. silly design of the shower place. water easily go out to the floor during showering 9. rubbish TV shows with no english channels for tourists from oversea bright side: 1. friendly and helpful services provided by front desk support and 13/f dinning waitors 2. facilities are new 3. fresh juice in morning breakfast are really good

Location, modern, well-maintained common areas and room. Very quiet and a nice view of the ocean.

Convenient to conference center. Front facade and street view make finding front entrance challenging especially when driving . Signage minimal at best. Parking garage entrance also difficult to find and the ramp in and out narrow and steep. Staff friendly and helpful. At the time of our stay the room keying system was being changed which was frustrating. Ended up with 4 sets of keycards.

Great hotel across from a shopping mall, close to the metro line Forum and taxi stand outside the hotel. Hop on/hop off bus stops in front of the hotel as well. Easy check-in process and overall, great place to stay if you don't mind being away from the city center. It was so easy to get to and from that it was not a problem for us.

The room wasn’t big, but was very tidy, comfort and clean. Complimentary water was enoughly provided and staffs were super friendly. In the breakfast, there was Jamón. Will stay here again for sure.

very disappointing having to navigate our way back to airport due to taxi strike no effort was made to provide a minibus as was the case with cheaper hotels. The air con was ineffective , the tv was set so low it was difficult to hear , and there were no channels in English other than business news. Breakfast was extensive but disappointing , coffee etc was provided from a vending machine in paper cups.
