Comfortable hotel, AMAZING spa
Absolutely would stay here again. The rooms were simple and compact, but clean and functional. Air conditioning was effective (although we were a little annoyed cleaning staff turned our AC off while we were gone). But the standout was truly the spa. I’ve had many nice massages but the couples massage here was maybe the best I’ve ever had. Whirlpool bath was a romantic and luxurious addition. Very reasonable prices. Overall a great experience.
Good stay
The location of the hotel is very good and there was enough parking. The room was clean and spacious with a great AC which is needed in this hot summer period.
Very good
Holsovice stay
We stayed here for a couple of nights in the Holesovice neighborhood. It was clean and a quick walk to the heart of the neighborhood. Fairly priced.
Staff were first class. The front desk were brilliant in resolving a problem I had on arrival. The restaurant is excellent - better than the average hotel restaurant.
good hotel
Good stay
I thought it was overpriced for what you get. The room was very small and had a bad odor to it.
staff is very good, clean property and nice envoiernment. peaceful.
The hotel is walking distance to the train station which made it real easy to travel throughout the city. Hotel staff was very professional and explained to us how to best navigate the city using public transportation. The food at the hotel restaurant was amazing!!!! and their breakfast selection was outstanding!! Will definitely stay again next time I visit Prague.
The hotel is close to metro stop, but not worth to pay for apartment. Neighbourhood is not great. WiFi was up and down constantly. Average breakfast and service.
Nice hotel
The staff was very helpful and friendly. While the location seemed somewhat questionable, it turned out ok, because public transportation was only a few steps from the hotel.
Great hotel, clean, tidy and no noise
The stay was great, the breakfast could of had slightly more variety. The bed was super comfy and enormous. We had a junior suite which was nice although it didn't seem that special, the room was a little lifeless, i was hoping for something slightly more glamorous for the occasion. The bathroom was not made for tall people either as it had sloping ceilings which my 6ft2 boyfriend often struggled with, however the giant bath tub was great. Overall it was a great hotel, clean, tidy, no noise and excellent transport links that run all night in and out of the city. I recommend the spa below the hotel too. We would definitely stay here again.
Excellent location plus superp facilities nice staff
Very nice and cozy hotel. Recommended strongly. Right Near metro
Great hotel
The hotel is really cool! And the rooms are very attractive and new!!
Great hotel freindly stafff would have been better if closer to the Centre
Great customer service, staffs are very helpful
Great customer service, staffs are very helpful
Average
Pros: clean and very nice room, very close to subway station Cons: limited breakfast with same things everyday, can be noisy in the mornings because hallways don't have carpet, charge for parking
Not a hotel for a restful night
I was on the fifth floor of the aesthetically pleasing hotel. Good: Restaurant, Staff, proximity of Spa, closeness of the famous Cross Club and public transport. Bad: Rooms were just not ready for a restful sleep. I could hear absolutely everything that went on next door quite clearly, including teleconferences, message alerts on cell phones, ringing cell phones, and moments of passion with hired professionals. Combine the paper-thin walls with the non-carpeted hallway and doors that aren't fitted into the frame well and *require* a slam to secure them, forget about sleeping in this place. If that doesn't matter to you, okay, but I expect to be able to sleep in a hotel. Annoyances: The shower didn't have any semblance of glass, so the water went *everywhere*. The safe couldn't fit a laptop. The breakfast buffet was a bit spartan.
kind and helpful staff
we visited Prague for a few days to meet up with friends and this hotel was ideally situated, close to metro and tram links into the city centre (short ride). (Public transport is excellent in Prague.) The hotel was clean, friendly, with comfortable rooms, but above all the staff were wonderful when I had, unfortunately, to see a doctor and dentist. I really appreciated their kindness and helpfulness, sorting everything out quickly and efficiently.
Disappointing
We were quite disappointed with this hotel as most of the reviews we read were good. The room we were initially given had a big stain on the carpet and the fridge wasn't working. The receptionist said she could get someone to look at the fridge the next day but we opted for another room instead. It was a small room but at least the bed was comfortable and the shower was good. The breakfast was not very inspiring and the receptionist wasn't very helpful when we enquired about getting in to the city centre. It is advertised as a spa hotel but it was quite expensive to use the spa facilities.
Really nice hotel close to Train Station
The hotel is in a pretty good location for the Holesovice train station. Otherwise it isn't very centrally located. Great hotel, very nice room and bathroom. The day spa was lovely too. Good value for money. The restaurant didn't have much of a variety so we headed into town for the food.
By the train
Good clean hotel
Great hotel, Excellent location!
2 mins from Metro, working WiFi and free parking! Hotel rooms are clean and new. Complimentary breakfast was good with good variety. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!
Very good location, just a short walk to the subway. Hotel comes with complimentary parking and buffet breakfast. Restaurant at lobby floor offers good food at affordable price. Friendly staff.
Smallish room but with all the amenities you need. Just a block away from the subway so very convenient for traveling about Prague. Free parking was nice as well. The attached restaurant provided good meals and the free breakfast was OK if you got there early, but they often were challenged to keep things supplied.
EXCELLENT, WOULD STAY AGAIN.
Very close to metro, close to good cheap restaurant, big room, beautiful bathroom, Would definitely stay at the same hotel. and very GOOD BREAKFAST.
Close to subway
Location not the best but can't beat the one block to subway tram and bus local!
Would probably stay again.
Liked the hotel a lot. Conveniently located to the metro. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy but didn't turn out as bad as I thought it would be. LIked the restaurant and the staff. Decent sized room.
Great hotel, awesome location
Stayed for two nights with my wife at this hotel and we were very pleased with the hotel room and also with the staff at the reception. The room was ready even one hour before official check in and they let us in. Would stay there again.
Air con not working and it's noisy when I check in
Stayed there for one night. Good staff at counter that provides me information about the city. But the room condition was not great. People are working on furnishing the hall outside my room, so it was really noisy and scary when I checked in. The air con does not really work that night so that when I got up, I found it was hotter inside than outside hotel. Did not sleep well.
Absolutum a Great Stay!
We were very impressed with the room and amenities. The location was safe, very convenient and free parking was perfect! The breakfast offered a good variety of choices. I would definitely stay here again.
No complaints. The attached restaurant is very nice. Room is comfortable. Parking is free as promised. Extremely easy to get into town via streetcar, subway, or just walking 40 minutes. Free internet and breakfast provided are reasonable.
Free parking is an amazing feature
Overall hotel was OK but it was lacking attention to details. 4 star hotel must have bath robes and sleepers, bathroom was lacking shower curtain, so it was extremely uncomfortable to have a shower. Otherwise our stay was pretty good
Above expectations
Pros: The room decor was fantastic! It is one of the best hotel rooms I even stayed in (and I travel a lot). There was contemporary furniture and an exposed brick wall in the room. The bathroom was huge and beautiful. It had a separate shower (with 2 shower heads) and a huge bathtub (with another hand-held shower). Tiles that looked like marble (all the way to the ceiling). I would love to have a bathroom this beautiful at home. Another pro was that the room did not smell at all (many times when I stay at other hotels the rooms have some smell). Also, the air conditioning was done very nicely - quiet, and it does not blow on you. Nice breakfast. Very nice hotel staff. I would stay here again any time! I strongly recommend, it is a very good value for the price. Cons: The elevator was out of service. It was Sunday night when we arrived, and we just traveled ~24 hours from the US. We had to carry up our luggage to the 5th floor (the concierge helped though, I felt bad for him). Fortunately, the elevator was working on Monday morning already. They did not have feather free bed coverings. I am allergic to feather. Though the feather coverings were hypoallergenic, and my husband (who is not allergic to feather) loved them. The hotel should turn on the air conditioning in the breakfast area when it is so hot outside. We were sweating.. There was also an outside eating area.
Nice, modern, very clean hotel with free parking.
Rooms and beds very comfortable and attractive, bathroom fabulous with excellent shower. Breakfast spread was fine. Will be better when construction in the immediate area is done, but this could be a while. Also internet is almost unusable and should be upgraded as it is currently not really serviceable, even though wifi sign is there. Had to go downstairs to small lobby to download email and New York Times current issue from website. When I came down early to leave and wanted a cup of coffee, someone from the restaurant did get me one, which was much appreciated. Would be nice if they had a Keurig-type machine so one could have coffee or tea even if restaurant is closed.
Very good hotel nice location
Even the hotel is out of the tourist area is a plus. You are only steps from metro station and 3 stops or 5 min you are on the center. Hotel is modern, nice space, great bath and very helpfull staff, is a boutique hotel so its not noisy. Breakfast included is a plus for early wake ups. Price is good for what you get.. Safe area for being two girls on vacation. We did not have time to visit the spa but looks is nice. Thanks !
Checked out a day early
The hotel is clean, close to transport. In saying this I would not stay here again. Issues: restaurant closed both nights we stayed. No room service either. No toilet paper in room first night, that's when I worked out that the room phone did not work properly, couldn't call the front desk. ,Then the phone kept cutting out after it was "fixed" could not adjust water temp in shower. No hot showers just lukewarm. TV did not work. kept switching off by itself. no english language channels , no movies available as system did not work Breakfast was included but when my wife ordered an expresso we had to pay for it. To top it off we had 1 or more mosquitos in room, bites all over as I slept with the covers off because the room was too hot. Next time I would stay in the old town and just walk to the attractions and choice of restaurants.
Clean, close to Metro, friendly service
Excellent
"budget 4 stars" in Prague - cool!
I have stayed in many (like 20?) 5 and 4 stars hotels in Prague and lived for 7 yrs there as well. I needed an overnight lastminute stay in Holesovice location and never triyed Absolutum before, so the choice (and price too:))was right. I was very nicely surprised by the welcome, overall quality and the experience as it was. For sure can recommend and will stay again. For anyone who does not care to walk 100meters to subway station (from which you are in downtown within 8minutes) - highly recommended cheap stay in Prague. Restaurant is pretty good too.
Good location without being in the center
While in a questionable neighborhood with odd characters walking about late at night, it is very close to the subway. The ride into the center is not far at all and if you only return to your hotel once or twice in a day, I would say it is worth it. The breakfast buffet is basic, but does offer warm plate options such as eggs and sausages, while some European hotels do not. The fridge had an explosion of some type of juice or soda in it that was not cleaned prior to our arrival, but nothing else was obviously dirty. Parking is a possibility for those tourists with cars and I didn't have an issue parking on site. However, some spots are reserved for another business and hotel guests are not allowed to park in them. The restaurant/bar closed at strange hours and it seemed like they stopped serving food or drinks simply when they felt the need to close up shop.
Good quality and Convinent location....
The room was clean and comfortable for staying. It is located near the metro station as well as trams. We can be easily reached to the city center and Praha castle, etc. compared to the price and location, it is very much recommendable hotel.
Prague
This was our first night in Prague. Hotel staff was helpful. Parking was a bit difficult, but that is not unusual in European cities. To get to the Old City, we took the subway 4 stations. It was easy and inexpensive. The neighborhood had little to offer and I did not feel comfortable walking around there. Breakfast was the basic food for the area. My only real complaint was the soap. It seems none of the hotels I visited had decent soap!
Friendly, efficient staff
Great hotel with very friendly & efficient staff. Very convenient access to the Metro made getting around Prague very easy. Hotel was spotlessly presented, but general surrounds were not great. Would definitely stay again.
Very nice clean and modern room. Also it was big and light. Good access to subway, only 10 mins from centre.
Excellent city break location
Comfortable room, friendly staff, good filling breakfast & meals throughout day are well prepared and tasty. convenient for Tram, Bus, Metro & Train stops. Out of centre but not too far away. Would stay again.
Great Location
The hotel was undergoing some renovation and the bathrooms were updated. Itwas a perfect location close to the trains and city center. The staff was very helpful. The wifi was just ok sporadic at times but worked for checking email.
Great stay
Very clean room, nice facilities. Very close to metro station, 10 min away from city center =)
Excellent stay in Prague
Staying at this hotel was a very nice experience. The building has been recently renewed, all interior finishing and furniture are completely new. The bathroom was nice, with a wide shower. One block away from Nadražy Holešovice metro station. The center of Prague can be reached within 10 minutes. The night tram stop is also very close. Free parking =) Tasty buffet breakfast included. Only thing missing was the swimming pool. Definitely will stay here again.
Nice, good value, not a 4 -star
Not too centrally located, but the train is quick to get to the Musuem, then walk from there.
Very nice hotel, friendly staff and great breakfast. But no restaurant nearby.
Wonderfull trip with comfort hotel
Hotel is very clean and smilely staff. It's closed to metro station and trams. Very near to heart of the city. just 10min away from attraction. The room I stayed was small. The beds was small too. Personnel that working in hotel very helpfull. Thank you very much.. Next time if I go to Prague again I will be stay in same hotel.
A Gem of a Hotel Connecting with Public Transport
This was one of the nicest hotels we stayed in on our European tour. Very helpful staff at check-in and throughout our stay. Good restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The room was large by European standards, and bathroom was similarly spacious with huge shower. A short walk to the Metro station, then a five minute train ride to the central Prague railway station, made our train journey to Germany so easy to get to. A tram stop between the hotel and the Metro station makes for simple use of public transport.
Great price and easy access to metro
Overall Prague was disappointing. It's lost the Euro feel and being over run by Macdonalds, Subway, cheap and casinos.
Nice room, not nice neighborhood
In a shady neighborhood, but at close to a subway and within walking distance to a beautiful park. Wish there was a gym!!! Based on the reviews, I thought the 'fitness center' was one, but turned out to be a pay for service massage and tanning spa.
Prague Hotel Near Tram & Metro
This hotel was located in a suburb of Prague but was right across the street for the subway and tram station. It had free parking and a buffet breakfast and was modern with well appointed rooms. We would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.
The Absolutum is a chic, clean boutique style hotel. It's 50 yards away from the underground and trolley/bus lines. It has a very good restaurant and a very good breakfast for those who have breakfast included with your room. Very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk.
For the price, compared to other Prague hotels, this was pretty good. A few negatives, thin walls, grumpy front desk attendant, stained carpet in the room. Also, breakfast is really not worth it. You're better off going to on e of the many cafes in town. Location, while not central, is very convenient.
Will visit again
1 minute walk from the Subway, very convenient price, free parking and internet, very nice furnished rooms
Great Value
I had a great stay in November at Hotel Absolutum. The hotel is about a mile-and-a-half from the City Center, so not in the thick of things, but still totally convenient -- the subway and some tram lines are just across the street. The neighborhood itself is a little weird in that it is semi-industrial, but you won't be hanging out here anyway. The room was great -- very large and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast was wonderful. Given the prices in Prague, this hotel is a serious value. When I was choosing a hotel the other comparably priced hotels were near Prague Castle -- and I am glad I ended up at the Absolutum -- much less touristy and equally as convenient.
a diamond in the rough
This hotel is sooooo close to the train station. If you are connecting to anywhere in Germany this would be a great choice. Literally the train station is a block from the hotel. There is a metro station right there. The breakfast in the morning was great. It was a really good deal. There is supposedly a spa...didn't try it out, but I maybe would next time. The only problem was the shower. Made a mess on the floor with all the water, but guest services sent someone up with extra towels right away.
Greatest Hotel! Huge surprise for the price, easily worth double what we paid!
This is a great hotel. Very convenient to the metro, and very nice inside. It was quite a surprise to find this nice place for this price. I wish I'd known not to take a taxi from the train station, I should have emailed the hotel for metro instructions and saved $70. All in all, I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to everyone. BTW, the desk clerk was super friendly and provided us information on everything in the city!
Great Prague Bargain Hotel
This is a great bargain and the Metro is just accross the street allowing you to be in old town quickly. The only complaint is the hotel is not easy to find by car even with a GPS because of all the construction in the area....not the hotels fault. Rooms are nice and have AC. The breakfast is excellent and parking is free. Have stayed there twice this summer.
Location a plus and a minus
The hotel is located just outside the Holesovice subway station and international train station. It is not however, a very pretty neighborhood. There is also a lack of stores and restaurants in the area other than McDonald's and the hotel restaurant. I did feel very safe and it's a short subway ride into the center. It's a great place to stay if you come and leave via the international train station as I was. The room is modern and it was very quiet. Breakfast was good. I do feel they could serve it earlier, on the weekend it opens at 8am, and I like to get a good start on the day. Overall, for the price, it's a great deal.
"Can't wait to go back"
staffs are helpful with good service mind and the location is only 5 minute walk from public transport system.
Excellent Hotel
It might be mentioned that the hotel is just one block away from the train (from Berlin) and underground (inner city) stations. Wonderfully convenient.
Interior is a true 4 star
Excellent position if you are looking for a place to stay for one-two days. About 30-45 min walking from the historical center. Very easy to find by car and also very convenient if you drive by car to the airport. Price is excellent for the quality of the rooms. The only problem is that the breakfast (included in the price btw) starts only at 8am, a little bit too late... I did not have the chance to see if the food is ok or not...
Good value for money
New hotel well located close to metro station, no issues with parking. Very good hotel for business stays for reasonable price.
I'd go back.
An over all good hotel. Moments away from the city core. Service was great - Let me check in early. Room was nice and clean. Hotel food wasn't bad either.
Great Hotel
This was simply the best hotel I have stayed in on the continent in this class. The room was very comfortable and spacious, breakfast was great and they had several television channels in English. The hotel staff were very polite and helpful. It is a bit off the beaten track, but public transport to the airport was easy and efficient, and the food was great. I will definitely be staying here again. Steve
an Amazing hotel to finish our stay.
My friend and I stayed at Absolut at the end of a month traveling through Europe. The room had 2 twin beds, comfortable chairs, a huge bathroom. We were very happy with the room and location. The hotel is directly across the street from the metro and main train station as well as an ATM and McDonalds. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was very filling.
Very nice, poor service
Hotel is very nice - modern, renovated. What I didnt like were unprofesionals in hotel restaurant. Waitreses smoking in restaurant during breakfast!!!
Perfekt
The spa is AMAZING. They offer a beautiful show in the suana. The cold plunge is unreal. I didn't know what to expect but it was amazing. The room was beautiful and new. The restaurant food was really good. Very good local food. I will definitely go back
Fast but good!
I only stayed for one night, but was a very good experience.

Alles bestens! Ausreichend sauber, funktionales kleines Zimmer mit bester Ausstattung! Frühstück war reichlich und vielfältig! Sehr schöner Aufenthalt, wir kommen wieder!!!
Trevligt hotel i Prag.
Trevligt hotel i Prag.
Hotel ben curato e personale gentilissimo. Consigliato a tutti.
Supermysigt hotell, väldigt bra massage och mysigt spa.

Good for access, terrible for your back
While the price was good and the hotel is essentially across the street from the metro—so, very convenient for getting to sights), I really would never stay here again. There is NOTHING around (not even a place for decent coffee, unless you’re thinking of a kiosk at the Metro). Further, while the room was fine, the bed was hard as a rock (really; I have a bad back and this thing was torture). The pillows are incredibly thin and the room was really quite warm, even with the heat turned off. The only way to stay comfortable was to open the window. Nice folks but a really terrible place to stay if you want a decent night’s sleep.
