The way the bath and shower had been designed is just inacceptable : it is just impossible to take your shower without banging your head on the ceiling which is very low. In the room next to ours, it was the same! You cannot 5* to a hotel, where you do not have the possibility to take a shower in normal conditions, this is the basics .

We arrived at the property late and the room we booked and paid for was not available - we booked a Jr Suite with King bed and two single beds, and they only had small Jr Suite with one bed. So they made us get another room for 300 Eur - we feel like we were taken advantage of because we arrived late and did not have any other options given the late hour.

Very romantic hotel in a small town in Alsace

amazing hotel. we booked for wedding anniversary. Hotel met and exceeded all expectation, from service, design and amenities. Sauna and swimming pool are great, hotel is very nice and bright, and town is nice to visit for a day or two as well. Parking is available at hotel for 25 Euro but also free in the town. Breakfast was good, especially omelet was tasty. Will come again

Fine hotel

This hotel is ok. There is no restaurant and the parking is down the street a ways which isn't the most convenient- they should have valet. The room was large and very comfortable. Staff is excellent.

Fantastic place for a brief stay in the Alsace wine region. The way the hotel has been built into essentially four old framework houses is stunning. The services and atmosphere are top. This was way above our expectation.

Absolutely everything about this hotel and stay was perfect - the spa was gorgeous, the staff were incredible and the room was brilliant. EXCEPT that they charged me twice! I told them at checkout that I had already paid through Expedia, but they insisted on charging me again saying the first one was a holding charge. A few days later, both payments have been taken and completed. If I hadn’t double checked I might never have noticed!!

Very nice designed new property with great combination of modern functionality in a 16th century winery house. Great rooms and a great spa build into the old cellars plus exceptional reception and bar area.

Great hospitality of the front office staff, they listen and understand customer needs. The pool and sauna are wonderful. I appreciate the interior design and deco which have turned an old cellar to a boutique hotel.

It's my 4th time staying here. I simply love this hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The spa is also very amazing. I am about to book my 5th time stay!

The staff was excellent from check-in to check-out. They helped us with our luggage during our check-in, accommodated an earlier check-in, gave us wonderful restaurant recommendations and assisted us with all other needs during our stay. The spa facilities were included with our stay, which was an added bonus to the already wonderful amenities! Will definitely be back when we visit Alsace!

Close to Strasburg and in the middle of the wine Alsace region. The hotel is superb-big rooms, parking and great staff. Beautiful pool. Fully recommended!!

Excellent hotel with very friendly and qualified staff; beautiful setting in an old building, renovated with lots of love of detail; Our junior suit was bright and spacious; a big plus is the AC in the rooms (rather rare in small hotels in Europe); The restaurant is superb!!! Would highly recommend this hotel, especially for adults (not much to do for kids)

Great spot in a quiet Alsace town

Great hotel in Barr. Very well renovated, keeping elements of the old building. Service was outstanding. Location was right in the lot city center. Parking across the street was easy for a night, but could be difficult for a longer stay because they are paid public spaces. Quieter town than others in Alsace, but very relaxing. Spa was simple but well done.

Very nice hotel with excellent staff

Wonderful stay - the phone in our room wasn't working and the hotel had no electrical adapters for us to borrow, but these were minor inconveniences in an otherwise perfect experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Déçu de notre week-end de 2 nuits dans cet hôtel que nous connaissons bien. Chambre minuscule sans ascenseur avec minuscules fenêtres pourtant à 400€ la nuit. Wc sale, spot cassé, petit déjeuner à 28€ mais il ne restait rien. (1choix de confiture) il restait 3 petits bouts de fromage. On a demandé une autre chambre qui était cette plus grande mais les fenêtres ne donnaient pas sur l’extérieur mais sur le couloirs (passage de clients), est ce vraiment un standing 5* cette chambre restante à 400€? L’endroit est très beau et l’ambiance est chaleureuse mais aujourd’hui nous trouvons que le tarif est bien trop élevé.

quelle déception

Nous sommes arrivé vers 18h40 et partions dès 9h00 le lendemain. A notre arrivée nous nous sommes garé devant l'hôtel et avons attendu quelques minutes mais personne n'est venu nous accueillir, pas de bagagiste, ensuite nous avons eu un bon accueil par le jeune homme, malheureusement nous apprenons que le parking de l'hôtel se trouve plus loin dans une autre rue, sans voituriez également. nous avons profité 40mn de la piscine et vue l'heure et prêt de 5heures de routes sous la neige nous avons préféré prendre un room service et diner dans notre chambre, bien que la carte du room service ressemble plus à un snack qu'à une carte de 5*. à l'arrivée de nos plateau le jeune homme ne savait même pas ou les poser car ils sont venus sans une table de room service que l'on peu voire dans tous les hôtels. il n'y a même pas 2 chaises dans la chambre, vous pouvez diner chacun votre tour sur le bureau enclavé !!! la literie était beaucoup trop souple, donc un mal de dos au réveil. la douche dans une baignoire sous pente(ma taille 1m78 seulement) ne nous permet pas sans être baissé de se doucher correctement et cela en inondant la salle de bain qui se trouve dans la chambre sans cloison. Bref très loin des standards d'un 5* pas de bagagiste, pas de voiturier, pas de conciergerie, pas de restaurant étoilé à notre départ la jeune femme nous a facturé une 2e fois la chambre alors qu'elle avait déjà été payé, ma femme a du insisté pour se faire rembourser. Bref plus assez de caractère pour ...

Reibungsloser Check-In, freundliches Personal. Zimmer sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Bett bequem, Raum klimatisiert. Abendessen 3 Gang mit Menu nach Vorschlag Küchenchef war einfallsreich und lecker. Leider am Sonntagabend kein Abendessen möglich. Frühstücksbuffet reichlich.

Un bel endroit. Un service à améliorer

Un bien bel endroit, à la déco soignée et plaisante. On s'y sentirait bien si le service était la hauteur de l'établissement, hors ce n'est pas le cas : le standing n'y est pas, le personnel (inexpérimenté) fait "de son mieux" mais cela reste de loin insuffisant. C'est notre 2e expérience mitigée, ce sera la dernière.

Un détour à ne pas manquer

Très bon séjour, la chambre Deluxe est magnifique et confortable, très calme, le Spa et vraiment dans un cadre hors du commun, de plus avec les réservations de créneaux c'est très agréable. L'ensemble est très positif. Sans hésitation, je recommande.

Meget velindrettet og dejligt hotel med smuk beliggenhed på pladsen over for rådhuset. Smagfuld moderne stil og en indbydende spa indrettet i kælderen. Barr er en meget hyggelig by uden for megen turisme.

Superbement refait, très agréable. 2 prises dans la chambre qui ne fonctionnent pas des buses de massage qui ne fonctionnent pas dans le spa dommage

Séjour parfait

Perfection. Que dire de plus quand un seul mot résume notre petit séjour en amoureux. Acceuil très sympatique, accompagnement en chambre avec découverte d'une sublime suite spacieuse, chaleureuse et décorer avec goût. Ťout est à disposition pour voyager léger et profiter de sa nuit. Le restaurant étant fermé le lundi nous avons tenter d'en trouver un autre à une heure peut être trop tardive, s'en succés. Après en avoir informer la réception, le personnel nous a préparer un excellant repas grace au room service. Le SPA, dans une cave vouté est très original et relaxant. Petit déjeuner varier avec produits locaux. Nous avons tout valider dans cet hôtel. Parfait

Das Hotel und das Personal war super und der Spa-Bereich klein aber fein. Nur das Dorf war etwas verschlafen.. somit hatte man nicht viele Möglichkeiten, wenn man auswärts Essen gehen wollte.

Hôtel datant de deux ans. Mgallery est une valeure sûre. Casre magnifique repectant l' ancienne batisse et en jouant avec une touche moderne assez minimaliste. J' adore !!!
