Good for the cheap price. Room is average, has all that it needs, even a fridge which you usually don’t get. Breakfast was ok, had a good selection of cakes and pastries, fridge full of yoghurts and usual Scrambled egg, bacon and beans. No one at the pool due to it being so cold as in shaded area, entertainment was in resort 1 although we didn’t stick around hotel due to many things planned during our stay. It’s in a good area, not too long of a walk to the beach, many restaurants nearby. You have a choice for main beach or there’s a small beach if you go to the left, it all links up and a nice walk. Would definitely go here again for a cheap stay

The hotel is situated in a great area, local to shops and beach, the staff at this hotel who work in the restaurant area are rude af The food options was ok, but the staff who serve it was so rude, and they make you pay for water out the water machine I went half board and I get that I'd have to pay for fizzy drinks and alcohol etc but water The pool area is small and situated between 2 hotel blocks so doesn't always get good sun, it was bearable if you knew the good spots where to pitch your sun lounger for the day

No working jacuzzi No spa No free tap water with dinner Rooms are acceptable but not spotless, thick dusty tops. Toilet has skid marks in bowl and on seat Bath had several hairs Shower water was temperamental in the mornings when other guests flush their toilets. The bathroom extractor fan was not working properly, other rooms’ toilet odours made their way through the vent and poisoned the air.

Air conditioning is very outdated and dusty leaving a strong smell in the room. The breakfast was pretty bad and barely edible in fairness. The only safe options are what were not cooked directly by staff. The hotel strength is its location and proximity to beach, center and transportation to portaventura Park. Correct place to stay but I cannot imagine having all inclusive there it would be painful.

Good hotel & location Staff let it down !

On arrival I was asked for copies of my booking which I only keep in my Hotels.com virtual wallet. I was then asked to email over all 6 seperate bookings. By this time the rest of my party (12 total) had checked in without any issue? In the end I didn't need to send them so was a waste of time. Hotel itself was good, nice pool area and bar staff were great. Room itself was nice but only one extremely flat pillow provided and no spares. Other members of the party ahd extremely bad smells from the drains but was told they'd just put bleach down and to come back later, did not improve! Restaurant staff were very unaccommodating, rude, obviously not very happy in their jobs and took it out on paying customers. I was scolded for making my son a small sandwich at breakfast to take with him (as he hadn't eaten), I paid for half board and was only eating there once due to a day trip. Made to feel like we were an inconvenience being there, maybe due to end of season I don't know. Plenty of nice places to eat especially Gabbers just down the road who couldn't of been more accommodating to us and all our children.

Good hotel, good location but staff let it down!

On check in I was asked to email over all my booking confirmation details even though I had in my hotels.com wallet and they clearly had my records available. I'd made 5 separate booking for my party therefore was not ideal after all the travelling. Eventually I didn't need to as the rest of my party had already checked in by this point. I cannot fault the actual hotel or rooms, they were clean and quite modern. Comfort wise they were ok although if you like a pillow then you'll be disappointed as you get one non-existent pillow and no spare. Food was ok but lots of nice eating places around especially Gabbers, really friendly and great food at a good price. Unfortunately the staff let the place down, the restaurant being the worst. We were there as a group with many children and there was no friendly smiles or greeting wherever you went. You were made to feel like you were an inconvenience. At breakfast as we had to be out early for a trip, I made my son a small bread roll with a piece of ham on and I was scorned loudly that I could not do it. Absolutely pathetic especially when I'd paid for Half board and was going to be out of the hotel all day without any other meals. I still took it or it would of gone in the bin anyway surely? Bar staff were by far the nicest, maybe as it's end of season and they were all fed up but based on that I would not return. Manager was helpful when were changing hotel from Park II to Park I when other staff didn't seem to know.

Basic and fine

Basic hotel. Rom very small. Waiting and bar staff are a credit to the hotel. Food not bad but tended to be quite cold (self serve buffet) especially at breakfast - could do with a rethink on how eggs are fried (swimming in grease) and how food is kept hot. Rooms cleaned daily, could do with updating rooms. Front of house reception staff can be somewhat dismissive (especially receptionist - blondish curly hair) who was my first contact when I arrived and did not impress

Average stay.

We stayed here for 1 night and it was okay. The room was nice and modern. The bathroom was very small but had a bathtub which was good. However the food was not very good. There was not much selection, and it was quite cold too. We wish we hadn’t booked half board and had gone elsewhere for dinner. We much preferred the 4R playa park - not much difference in price, same brand, very close to this hotel and the food was amazing.

Not Good!

When we arrived the hotel could not find our booking. Finally got to the room the bathroom was disgusting. Bed is solid and only one pillow. Bar staff where rude. Breakfast was not good, no staff around pool area children left to run wild and dive in pool every 2 minutes soaking everyone around. Walls paper thin could head couple next doors loud bedroom antics every night. Not a relaxing hotel for couples.

Nice family hotel.

The overall appearance of the hotel was good. The room was modern and clean, The breakfast lunch and dinner at the hotel was much better then we expected. Plus the hotel staff were all very polite and helpful during our stay at the hotel.

Failed to do the simple things

No room for parking no even in the hotels 18e per night car park.

Lovely relaxed, friendly hotel.

Great hotel, beach 5 mins walk away, shops and bars a couple of minutes away. Hotel very clean, staff very helpful.

playa margarita review

i have stayed in this hotel twice now and i have found it very enjoyable.the rooms are very clean and the air con is great.the food was lovely and the staff were very friendly.the two pools are great and are suitable for children.The hotel is very near the local beach and is in walking distance to shops and all local nightclubs.when i return to salou i hope to stay here again.

La estancia a ido bien pero mucho jaleo en los pasillos y ruidos estraños

Deux jours passés pour le pont de mai. Les chambres sont correctes, bien qu’un peu petites, les matelas sont fermes. La salle de bain pratique mais un peu vieillotte. le personnel est sympathique et accueillant. Piscine sympa et petit déjeuner basique mais bien.

Rien ne correspondait aux photos qui figure sur Internet publicité mensongère. Nettoyage des chambres catastrophique pas de balayage Très deçu

Para no volver

Demasiado caro para lo que es, y más fuera de temporada. 64€ una noche en una cama que los muelles se te clavaban en las costillas,las almohadas y paredes parecían papel, se escuchaban las otras habitaciones. La limpieza no es buena, sábanas manchadas y piso sucio. De cortesía nada, ni un cepillo de dientes.

Esta situado en un sitio centrico,personal muy agradable,muy recomendable

Superbe hôtel ! Très bonne situation géographique, implanté comme dans un « mini quartier » avec tout à portée de main. Petit déjeuner buffet inclus dans le prix est un plus. Wifi gratuit. Buffet halal top. Réception 24/24. Grand balcon. Deux ascenseurs. Des grosses difficultés de stationnement en période estivale, pensez à réserver le parking de l’hôtel (vite plein) sinon, il vous faudra stationner plus loin

Hôtel très bien situé à 2 min à pieds de la plage et du centre Personnel fatigué mais très sympa et serviable La restauration se passe uniquement en salle 😡 Les draps et serviette très très usés et grisâtre. Chambre très petite pour 3 et piscine riquiqui

Hébergement facilement accessible, personnels peu souriant ou aimable (pas tous). La propreté laisse à désirer, chaque jour après le passage de la femme de chambre il y avais soi des cheveux sur les draps et salle de bain, soi draps et serviettes sales. La chambre était bien plus petites que sur les photos mais bon ça a la rigueur c’est pas grave. Repas, nous aviez pratiquement que la même chose qui était proposer, mais bon. Si vous ne mange ni porc ni poisson, vous allez rester sur votre faim. L’hôtel 4 étoiles était plutôt 2 étoiles. Après la plage était proche c’était l’essentiel.

Seul l'emplacement est bien pour Port aventura

Hotel bien placé pour Portaventura, mais bruyant, vétuste, balcon trés trés proche avec toutes les chambres, du vis à vis dans la chambre. Confort des matelas pas top. Un spa impossible d'y aller, horaire de 10hà13h et de 16hà18h les heures où on est soit à la piscine, la plage où dans le parc de loisirs. Je ne recommande pas.

Notre chambre n’a pas été faite durant les 3jours de notre séjour malgré notre signalement à la réception

Las instalaciones y el personal excelente, pero no me gustó porque me mintieron en el momento de hacer la reserva y durante el check in. Vinimos con un niño de 10 y una niña de 3 años y escogiyeste hotel porque tenía animación, sala de juegos y spa, que pensé cómo está el tiempo, así si hace feo o frío los niños pueden bañarse igualmente. Me dijeron por teléfono que el spa para pequeños se pagaba la mitad, porque se paga a parte claro... Total que al hacer el check in nos enseñaron el horario de la animación y nos dijeron que el spa para ella está gratis. Después de comer al hacer frío y la piscina exterior estar helada, dijimos de ir al spa, entonces en el mostrador nos dijeron que en el spa no podían entrar niños menores de 8 años, y de todo el horario de animación no había nada porque no habian contratado animación porque habían pocos niños alojados. Si me lo hubieran dicho cuando pregunté por teléfono hubiera buscado otro hotel, opciones para niños pequeños cero patatero....solo por eso no volveré a este hotel

Lo más incómodo que a la hora de la entrega de la habitación ya que la encargada de la recepción se encontraba hablando por teléfono y solo se limitó a pedir la llave sin preguntar que habitación ni como la habíamos pasado ni nada. Solo dijo dónde está la llave y continuó hablando por teléfono muy mala la despedida lastima todo lo demás perfecto. Fue a la diez de la mañana del Día Quince de mayo

Mucho residente ucraniano en pijama y zapatillas en recepcion y restauracion como si estuvien en su casa. No es lo que quieres ver al llegar a tu alojamiento por trabajo o relax.

Pas professionnel

Aucune communication possible avec eux … des soirées agitées dans l’hôtel.. le matin aucun respect a partir de 7h .. chambre mal rangée, puis après une journée à tarragone de 8h retour à l’hôtel et chambre ouverte avec tous nos affaires dedans .. niveau sécurité 0

Ensemble de 2 hôtels séparés par une piscine, situés à proximité de la rue piétonne. Belle chambre avec climatisation et équipée d'un mini réfrigérateur. Petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet bien garni mais avec des produits industriels. Séjour agréable.

Arrivee tardive signalee pour preparation checkin . On est arrivee a 0h40. Devant un hotel fermé sans aucune indication. Je me suis rendu a l'accueil du resort park 1. Ou j'ai trouvé quelqu'un qui nous a pris en charge. Grosse deconvenu : nous avions appelé 5h avant pour signaler notre arrivee et faire des demandes specifiques concernant la recharge electrique de notre vehicule. Le parking etait bien pourvu de 2 bornes de recharges mais en labsence de technicien impossible dobtenir la carte permettant le demarrage de la charge. Autre chose : nous nous sommes retrouvé dans l'autre hotel (1). La chambre ne correspondait donc pas la description. La literie absolument pas au niveau d'un hotel 4 etoiles. A ressort sur cadre en metal. Les draps étaient tachés et ne couvraient pas lensemble du matelas. Nous etions en couple et un enfant nous avons eu 3 lits simple. La clim allumée emet un bruit sourd. Autant qu'un enorme ventilateur. Point positif : les sanitaires propres modernes. Bref meme pour une nuit je deconseille..ca demanderait meme reparation pour toutes les promesses non tenues.

Éviter si possible

Check out 10h, literies vraiment pas d’actualité, équipements d’hôtel très vieux! Je n’ai pas du tout apprécié cet hotel et je ne suis pas vraiment critique en temps normal et je dors au moins 100 nuits pas/ an.

Hôtel sympathique, avec une bonne ambiance et pas mal de services proposés Malheureusement les services que nous aurions souhaité utiliser (SPA et piscines) ont des horaires très peu adaptés si l'on passe la journée en dehors de l'hôtel De plus, les chambres semblent bien isolées au premier abord (quand tout est calme) mais le le sont vraiment pas (nous avons entendu notre voisin de chambre aller aux toilettes et faire du bruit jusqu'à 00h30...)
