A great place to stay modern hotel

This is a nice modern hotel with a great choice of food at breakfast and lunch .With two swimming pools and a toddler pool. Something unheard of there was always space at the pool a spare sun lounger or two.They also have some very good night shows

The parking was extremely small and the spaces were very tight. Difficult to maneuver even a small car.

Never again, hotel is lovely, spotlessly clean, with a lovely pool but air conditioning in the bedroom DOES NOT work. We went to reception several times and each time they said they would send the maintenance man to look at it, iIn the end we asked the receptionist to come to the room, she agreed it wasn’t working and said maybe tomorrow we can change your room. We couldn’t sleep, the room was so hot. We left after our week exhausted. Never again, avoid this hotel especially if you are looking for a relaxing week. We talked to other guests at the hotel and they said they had a similar nightmare trying to sleep.

Great value. Near a beach. Rooms are very small but clean and well maintained. A lot of activities for the kids.

Lovely hotel

Enjoyable stay

Great hotel for the price. The hotel is spotless clean and gas very friendly and polite staff members. Basic room, one pillow each which is super thin. Rooms are older than in the displayed pictures on the site. Very good pool area with plenty of loungers but water is quite cold even in the jacuzzi. Pool bar is handy and food and drinks are very reasonably priced. We had breakfast and dinner included. Breakfast was wonderful. I loved the variety. Dinner was not so great. The salad bar and desserts were fantastic but the hot part wasn't so hot. And as a vegetarian, there was just type of vegetable each evening. It would have been nice to have more than 1 hot veg. But that didn't ruin my stay by any means. We stayed in a sea view room which was more of a pool and sea view room. You can hear the entertainment from the pool area until it ends at 11:30pm even with the balcony door closed. Overall we had an enjoyable stay. I would rate this property 4 out of 5. It is very good value for money.

Good hotel

Good service, although Internet doesn't work on 425 room during 8 days. The elderly guy from bar should be more friendly. There is no computer or private office for costumes what was a big problem for me as I needed to be a speaker in a online conference. Food was really good although more seafood and fish should be offered. Night entertainment was good.

Russians are not welcome here!!

I spent a week here with my wife. My wife wanted to get local information but the Ukrainian receptionist wasn't very helpful and ignored her. My wife asked her why she was ignoring her as she was a guest but the receptionist became very angry and asked her to go back to the place she came from. As the discussion was in Russian the receptionist Suyzi assumed that my wife lived in Russia and kept talking to her in an unfriendly manner. Next day I joined the queue to collect the room key and my wife avoiding all contact with Suyzi moved to far end of reception desk. But Suyzi moved to where she was standing and lectured her again. We went to our room and found there was no towels. Unfortunately we had to go back to this impolite receptionist and I asked for towels. We were not surprised to wait for over an hour to get them and finally have a shower after a busy hot day. What happened next was absolutely shocking.She continued abusing us and called our room at 3.07am. I answered the phoneI and heard the on hold music.It was obvious it was deliberate, This phone call can be easily checked on their call tracking system or the camera. We read many negative reviews about this receptionist Susanna-Suyzi it's clear that it is not an isolated incident with Russian guests. We would not recommend 4R Playa Park to our English or Russian friends. Next time we will choose a more welcoming.friendlier hotel. The room itself has a large damp patch from the shower room on the wall at entrance.

Good hotel friendly staff

Very good hotel. Easy check in. Wasn't happy to have to pay for the fridge as usually it's in the room free at all other hotels we've been in. But had a lovely stay and staff very helpful. Also the food was very good

Close to the beach

Booked double room with a view, received confirmation of such, when we arrived we checked in as a couple and went to our room only to find two single beds, returned to desk and was told that a room with both sea view and double bed was not possible, although this was stated as such on confirmation email, girl at the desk did not see it as being a problem and said they would get a king size bed put into the room, we went for dinner and on our return to the room we found 2 single beds pushed together with a double sheet wrapped over it, this doesn’t work, single beds move apart as you twist and turn during sleep, we returned to desk, the girl, who was not very pleasant at all couldn’t understand what the problem was, they do that all the time and no one else complained, we asked to speak to the manager, when she came out, she was not very nice either and said that when a room is booked with both sea view and double room they prioritize the sea view, and the double may or may not be available, this made no sense at all, finally after insisting on a double bed she suggested another room which had the view of the side of a hotel wall, this was not acceptable so we insisted on a double bed and a sea view as what was paid for and confirmed by email, after two days we eventually got a double put into our room, would not recommend bar menu, fish was atrocious, it was deep fried processed battered fish, apart from all that, hotel is nice,and house keeping staff were very pleasant,

Great stay

For the price, this hotel is great. In a good location very close to the coast but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Salou beach. The food was excellent - could not be faulted at all. The WiFi was not that great. The beds were very comfortable. Parking is a bit troublesome - there is free street parking available but may have to drive around for a bit to find it. We were on the first floor looking out over the street so very disappointed with our view, when we could have been looking over the pool or coast, but we were only there one night so it was ok. The breakfast was the main highlight for us. Evening entertainment was also very good and in multiple languages. We would stay here again.

Standards Maintained

It was my 5th visit to Playa Park over a period of some 20 years and the hotel continues to provide excellent value for money. Plenty of things to do.Bus stop outside the hotel gives easy access to nearby resorts Cambrills and Cap Salou. Tarragona worth a visit about 20 mins away by bus. We watched Status Quo there on our visit. The Arena there has a variety of acts appearing over the year. Port Adventura has to be seen. Much cheaper when visiting for the evening only but full day needed if you have children. Plenty of beaches close-by.

High quality hotel with service to match

We reviewed lots of hotels before deciding we wanted to stay at the Playa Park and we weren't disappointed. The room and facilities were spot on - controllable and reliable air conditioning, a lovely shower, comfortable beds, blackout blinds which could leave you in pitch darkness all day if you wanted. The reception on the TV was poor mind but that was fine as this was not essential. Free wi fi was a bonus. There was a great variety of food with plenty of fresh fruit and salads as well as lots of hot food. The staff in the restaurant were very, very good - attentive and always happy and willing to help. Reception was a pleasure to interact with and offered so much advice on where to go and how to get there - again super helpful and friendly. The hotel facilities are excellent with plenty of space and pools to choose from. The location of the hotel is also a real bonus with beaches within minutes and some great views of the coast too due to the elevated position of the hotel. Kids were very well catered for too with plenty of activities during the day and evenings. The kids club was very popular and it's not difficult to see why - they organisers were simply big kids themselves and really made a connection with the kids of all ages - quite a joy to watch the interaction. I struggle to find a bad thing to say about our stay, which was ten days and we got home three days ago so all still fresh in mind.

Enjoyable

Overall good.... Good location (15 minutes from City center and that's the plus), professional staff, good food in the restaurant. Port Aventura is just 5 minutes away (taxi), train station ( renfe, Barcelona or Valencia directions) is 10 minutes away ( by taxi)

Good hotel, nothing too special, but everything works. Cleaning, food, service, everything good. Slightly disturbing thing was that the Quadruple room was just a Double room to which two beds had been added, so there wasn't even enough room for luggage.

Sehr gutes *** Sterne Hotel nur die Lage nicht ideal zuviel bergauf bergab. Betten sehr bequem, Kissen waren Klasse. Sehr nettes Personal, Essen war sehr gut. Pool zu kalt, da war das Meer wärmer. Ansonsten nichts zu meckern.

Bon hôtel dans l'ensemble mais un bémol sur le traitement des demandes à l'accueil par une dame en particulier très très désagréable. Un conseil, si vous voulez obtenir une réponse rapide à votre besoin, adressez-vous au personnel avec chemisette beige. 2 places de parking dédiées aux véhicules électriques avec un surcout de 5€, 1 seule borne de recharge, puissance 3kw sans possibilité d'augmenter la puissance. Restaurant très bruyant, nourriture assez variée mais d'une qualité basique. Equipe animation sympathique. Mini club enfants très bien. Emplacement à proximité de plages, si vous voulez aller en centre ville le retour peut etre assez long à pied et en côte (25-30 min environ).

Très bon hôtel, bien situé et une très belle vue mer et tout ses alentours. Un accueil a l'écoute de son client et un très bon service restauration ( nous remercions Paula et Puri) et bien sur j'en oublie beaucoup qui on étés tous souriant avec un service irréprochable. Nous reviendrons avec joie dans cette hôtel. Un petit bémol ( option pour le coffre fort 15€ et frigo 26€ la semaine) quand dans d'autres hôtels ce service est gratuits.

Hotellet var bra. Men väldigt dåligt städat. & väldigt hårda sängar & inga täcken på rummet. Samt att det fanns ingen gratis parkering så betalade 70 euro i 7 dagar nu i september. Väldigt dåligt också att man måste betala för att få använda kylen på rummet

Hôtel très sympa et propre , le personnel à l'écoute, tous les soirs il y a une animation.

Außergewöhnlich gut war das Essen. Das Personal im Restaurant Bereich war extrem Freundlich. Zimmer wurden nur notdürftig gereinigt aber ok.

Hôtel familial près des plages

Hôtel proche des plages et à 10 mns à pied des restaurants, boutiques et bus pour Port Aventura. Petit déjeuner varié et copieux. Par contre piscine bien plus petite en réalité par rapport aux photos. Pas d'espace enfants à la piscine ce qui fait qu"il est difficile d'être tranquille si on le souhaite. Transats en nombre insuffisant par rapport au nombre de chambres. Animation différente chaque soir avant 22 H. Chambres lumineuses avec petit balcon, très propres et bien agencées mais insonorisation faible.

Aconselho - Boa relação qualidade/preço.

Os funcionários foram super simpáticos e prestaveis em especial a Sra. Ana da sala de refeições. As refeições são boas/satisfatórias. Localização muito boa para acesso às praias. Piscinas apresentam a água fria dado que se encontram posicionadas em zonas de sombra. Aspectos negativos: -As camareiras não limpavam convenienteme o quarto nomeadamente no que concerne às camas que apresentavam areia. - Salou não tem estacionamento suficiente para a afluência... Cheguei a estar cerca de duas horas à procura de lugar para estacionar mesmo em área de estacionamento pago. Aconselho a efectuar reserva com estacionamento incluindo.

Très bon hôtel. Chambre très sympa. Buffet complet changeant tous les jours. Personnel accueillant et sympathique. Piscine et bar top.

Dias de vacaciones

Todo ha ido muy bien personal muy atento y amable las instalaciones muy limpias las habitaciones tambien el grupo de animacion muy atentas y amabilidad . Quizas la comida un poco regulin pero en general muy bien y muy tranquilo para pasar unos dias de relax y desconectar de todo

Las habitaciones eran perfectas, pero era imposible aparcar y el parking del hotel estaba completo y no había posibilidad de contratarlo

Das Hotel bietet alles für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Die Gastfreundlichkeit des Personals ist außergewöhnlich. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Très bon séjour

Hôtel très bien situé, 3 plages à à peine 10 minutes à pieds. Également proche du centre ville et de Portaventura. Un très bon accueil, la piscine est très bien avec un nombre suffisant de transat. Bar, et animations sympa. Quelques bemol cependant : - des oreillers supplémentaires seraient les bienvenus - le buffet du soir est de qualité moyenne. Peu de choix et rien n'est préparé en direct. Finalement la demi-pension n'est peut-être pas le meilleur choix pour un sejour dans cet hotel. Mais au niveau du petit dejeuner il y a du mieux. Dans l'ensemble nous sommes satisfaits de notre séjour. Hotel assez calme mais avec toutes les commodités que lon cherche en vacances autour.

Bon emplacement, femmes de ménage très compétentes, amabilité et gentillesse de la part de tout le personnel.

Arrivée à l’hôtel aucune place de parking disponible on nous a expliqué qu’il fallait réservé par mail. L’état de la chambre plutôt correct mis à part quelques tache de sang dans la cuvette des toilettes, le bruit entre les chambres horrible, les femmes de ménage qui hurle en parlant entre elles dès le matin pas très correct envers leur client qui dorment encore, les femmes de ménage entre dans la chambre sans même tape à la porte alors qu’on dort encore, mis à part ça le manage était quand même correct et la dame très souriante. Au niveau de la restauration le buffet du soir n’était pas du tout bon obligé de manger en extérieur tout les soirs et alors nous faire payé les boissons ces le comble quand même. Mis à part ça le secours c’est quand même plutôt bien passer dans l’ensemble le prix vu l’emplacement et correct.

Schönes Hotel ruhig gelegen, kleiner aber feines Buffet.

Ich empfehle diesen hotel auf jeden Fall weiter. Hervorragendes Essen, sehr nettes Personal. Die Lage ist auch perfekt, zwei Strände in der Nähe

Familienfreundlichen Hotel

Für diesen Preis war es okay. Was mich halt gestört hat, dass auf das Platz im Restaurant müsste man mittags und abends warten 😬😬Und die Garage zum parken war schlimm, dafür sollte man keine Gebühren verlangen.
