Excellent hotel, all aspects were genuinely great. Around a 30 minute walk from the centre of Frankfurt, but felt totally safe throughout.
The staff were brilliant especially the two ladies who serve breakfast
Would stay here again
Lovely place, beautiful quirky decor (can be a bit dark, need a bright light in each room that one can turn on if needed; friendly and competent staff; big breakfast; nice location; but wi-fi subpar at times; bathroom door should not shut automatically (loud and not necessary)
Very clean room Good location and easy access to transportation
Very friendly staff and comfortable and stylish room.
In addition to its cool retro design aesthetic
Hotel was great and perfect location to get anywhere in city. Very easy one minute walk to street car and five minute walk to subway station. All staff at hotel was very helpful. Bar was nice. The Italian restaurant inside hotel had good food but the hostess/waitress (younger one) was rude and did not like serving Americans.
Unique decoration style, bed was very comfortable and clean. And the breakfast buffet was great. The barista make great cappuccinos.
Wait Before Entering
The breakfast staff was particularly friendly. One morning I returned to my room after breakfast. The room was already cleaned which I really appreciated. But while sitting at my table on my computer, there was a brief knock on the door and within seconds a man entered the room. He said he wanted to check on the room. I did not really mind because I was dressed and seated at my table. But had I not been dressed or in the bathroom or in bed, it would not have been acceptable. He should have waited for me to respond or answer the door. I do not always lock the door behind me. Respectfully, Alan
Good hotel, some room for improvement
Nice hotel, easy to locate and get into Frankfurt central via the underground. Positives include a good sized room, fast internet, free minibar, comfortable bed, quiet room. Room had plenty of lights but still seemed dark in places. Couple of issues with the room initially, safe not working and crisp pieces in a couple of places. Mentioned to front desk and the safe was repaired but crisp pieces still there when leaving. Also, used cups were left on one occasion. I would stay again but was a little disappointed with the thoroughness of the cleaning.
It is a good hotel for the money. But of course, it lacks some amenities.
It is clean, convenient, has a nice bar and restaurant and consistent service over the past 5 years I have stayed here
I shall Return...
This is my second time to stay at Goldmans. Very friendly and helpful staff in all their departments. Good location, close to the subway and trams. Rooms are very comfortable and plenty of choice at breakfast. Suggestion would be to brighten up the Reception and Dining areas. Overall excellent.
Acquired Taste
... it's a mixed bag: quirky, trying hard to appeal to hipsters and the modern urbanite. For them, nice little features as a mini boom box you can take out and use during your stay, a "trendy" shoulder satchel for your use during the stay, a bicycle and a MNI for rent may all be great arguments to come and return. Those with a more traditional set of expectations when it comes to a 4star hotel may be not so enthused by all of the above and especially the design scheme of this hotel (I hit my head three times at a giant shadowbox with a torso inside that looks down at you right where you get up from the bed) and the rather dim lighting scheme all through the hotel. Bottom-line: there is a concept and you may want to think about whether "that's you" or not. The bar is well stocked and offers high quality tapas. The restaurant, which I didn't try, has a very promising, ambitious menu and was full of patrons every night I stayed at the hotel. Final note for German's: there is apparently a "Duz"-policy in place which makes employees abide by the informal "Du" even if you respond with the formal "Sie". Some like it, some will be able to ignore it in spite of their dislike, and others again will be put off by it.
Very nice and cozy hotel. The interior design and the overall concept is so creative. I like it a lot!
Quirky !
nice quirky place, staff are pleasant well located fro business not your average hotel room
Our Home Away From Home
My wife and I happened across the Goldman in Frankfurt by pure accident on a vacation to Europe. Here we are four years later and we always make it a point to stay at the Goldman as part of our “end of trip” ritual in Frankfurt. The rooms are always great, amenities solid and blazingly good Wi-Fi. It’s also a quick walk from the U-bahn which makes it very accessible. I would strongly recommend you to give them a try if you are going to be in town.
Everything was great except the AC wasn't on. But they gave me a fan so it was all good.
Noisy place to stay, otherwise ok
For me this was a very noisy place to stay (hotel located next to the main road, slamming doors). Also rooms are not decorared to everyone's taste .. although each room is unique. Staff is friendly, nice restaurant/bar, opportunity to borrow bikes and visit a nearby gym.
Friendly, very helpful staff. Location was good for us. Clean and a/c worked well. We dined a couple times in restaurant next door and each time was excellent!
The breakfast is great.
Excellent hotel. Some lovely quirky features but the relaxed style of the team and really great attention to detail make this a must visit location.
Small hotel and rooms, but very quaint. The bathroom is also very small but clean.
Nice hotel , the room was OK , but little bit dark , missing more light, breakfast was tasty but the stuff at the restaurant was not so friendly and pleasant
The rooms are small, the room was hot, the traffic noise penetrated the windows and walls as did any noise in the hotel, plugs are in conveniently placed in the room, front desk service was cold and unfriendly.
Hotel was a bit dark for my taste but it was of a modern style and it appeared very stylish; Great water pressure and very hot showers, I Loved the breakfast; Fresh everything. Very comfortable bed and easy to use heat/AC controls. I am a bit concerned on the Hotel claims of “Self-parking available” in actuality there’s only 9 parking spots available (according to the check in staff) after they are occupied, you have to find your own parking somewhere on the street...
A hotel that completely made our holiday.
As tourists, we could not have chosen a better place to stay in Frankfurt. It's quirky place to stay with unique, yet homely decor and the rooms are impeccably clean. The building itself stands out on a rather ordinary street and appears as a place you want to be. The hotel mentions free car hire but you expect there to be some strings attached with insurance etc. but actually, it was completely free with the offer to reimburse petrol used! It's an almost new (9,000 miles on the clock) mini cooper sport but I noticed they also have a countryman available. We also made use of the bike hire at a very reasonable rate for excellent bikes, which allowed us to explore the full expanse of the river and city. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly (all with excellent English) - special shout out to Carlotta and Sascha who were always at hand to patiently answer our questions. The rooms aren't huge but are all unique and fun in their decor but tasteful. Breakfast is a great selection of sweet and savoury, with a homemade cake on offer each morning (look out for the lemon drizzle). Small touches like free stickers and bookmarks, available maps, and a table of apples and sweatbands for morning joggers make it a real home from home. Geographically, it's conveniently located on tramline 11 which takes you directly to the town and Altstadt as well as the Messe. I would certainly recommend!
Another fantastic stay at 25hours The Goldman!
Second year in a row we have stayed at 25hours The Goldman and it’s the second year in a row we have had a fantastic stay. The staff are friendly, the service is great and most importantly the hotel and rooms are spotlessly clean. Daily housekeeping providing fresh towels and replenishing complimentary toiletries is of a high level. The rooms are spacious enough and the beds are also very comfortable. One point of note is the shower room does not have a door, so just bear this in mind depending on who you are staying with. The separate toilet room however does have a door. The hotel is also very close to main transport links (train and tram) meaning the town centre is only a 20 minute journey away. Local amenities such as a big supermarket, cafes, takeaways and a gym are good to have nearby. There are also nice touches provided by the hotel, such as a wireless speaker and a safe in the room, free to use umbrellas if need be, and fruit/towels/water for those who like to go for a run. If you’re looking for a hotel that’s clean, spacious, comfortable and outside of the main city then the 25hours The Goldman is ideal. Comes highly recommended and would not hesitate to stay again.
Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Great area. Fun decorations in room. My only complaint was the air conditioner in our room did not cool very well. I will let the staff know.
The ‘other side of town’ is cool!
Great staff, cool hotel, yet room and toilet did not smell the best...
Crazy service destroys ur room & good breakfast.
I know 25hour hotel they have very nice and clean hotel. I had a very nice time in the same hotel at Zürich and that is why I reserved at this hotel. However, in this hotel I had extremely annoying reservation and helpless reception service, even though it was their problem to receive a correct reservation order. During check in they said your reservation is correct and it is for two person. Then when I check out, they told me my order is for two people to stay in the room but breakfast only for one person, still with the same about of payment for two person. Which is even not possible to have such a reservation in the page I used to reserve my room. Finally, they said we know the problem is the information get from the company you use to place your order, but sorry we can't do anything. Generally, I have never experience such a strange hotel reservation and service. I will see what I will do and inform other people to learn from me not to trust and wast their money in similar reservation and crazy service.
Very Good Eastside Frankfurt Hotel
Excellent hotel to stay at in Frankfurt. Easy commuting with the U6 (ostbanhof) only a short walk to the city center and to the airport. Hotel room was small but worked well. Ventilation in the bathroom could be better.
Very nice hotel, great staff
Only stayed one night but the hotel and staff were great. If I return I would definitely stay here again
BEST HOTEL......EVER!!!!
Without a doubt the BEST hotel I've ever stayed in!!! Rooms were absolutely gorgeous, staff were very friendly and he cleanliness was superb!!! I cannot wait to stay here again on my next visit!!! FAB-U-LOUS!!!!
Very very dark
No lighting in room, impossible to work or read during the day. Front desk staff were great, but we left 4 days early Housekeeping not that good cups not washed, coffee and milk not replenshished. I put a side lamp in the bathroom when one of the main lights went out because you literally could hardly see. Housekeeping still didn't realise something was wrong. When we rang for maintenance they send they would send a globe up. Not very satisfactory
I was in Franfurt to go to a trade fair, so I was only in the area of the hotel in the dark. The hotel is lovely and my room was very comfortable. I didn't get to see much of the nearby area. The staff were very helpful, I forgot my power adapter and they loaned me one. I would have preferred it if breakfast had been included as I didn't find anywhere nearby with a more affordable breakfast. It was easy to get to the fairground, just a couple of minutes to the nearest U station.
Great hotel
Great stay at this hotel, had lots of fun, nice staff
Different, quirky but excellent
Superb staff. Very relaxed non fussy approach. Great value for breakfast and restaurant was excellent. Loved stayin there and will be back.
Great location and ideal stay over
Enjoyed our stay. Nice staff and very helpful Location great near to the ECB
Very Qurkey hotel. 5* Excellence
We loved our stay here, hotel were so accommodating, and gave us a free upgrade for my partners birthday. Extremely clean, best shower we've had in a hotel. Beds are comfy, and the rooms are decorated so qurkey. Will definitely be staying here again, when we come back to Frankfurt! Thank you for an amazing stay!
Great modern hotel
Comfortable bed, modern and fun grounds. Restaurant on site is fabulous. Loved our stay!
Recomended for those who likes the area
Very nice place, i liked the hotel design and the idea behind it, I was supposed to visit the 25th Hour by Goldman however my reservation had been cancelled due to flight cancellations, the guy in the Goldman offered an empty spot in Levi's that was very kind, I'll visit Goldman next time
this is the one.
Listen, I've been traveling none stop for the past 3 months. I could fill expedia with reviews of hotels. who knows, perhaps I will. But if you are spending any time in the small but global 1980's rebuilt city of Frankfurt, and you want to be in a hotel that is sexy and spunky, this is the one. Clean. Funky.(but not obnoxiously so) fun staff, great decor and design aesthetic and comfortable. It's in East Frankfurt, the once-was-industrial-area that is quickly becoming the Shoredich of London or the Silver Lake of Los Angeles. The hip area where cool bars and cooler people are heading to. This is a hotel you may not have the business meeting lunch at (unless you work in design, or gaming or showbiz etc) but it's the hotel you don't mind having friends show up to in the evening for a drink and to kick it before you head up to get some sleep for the big pitch the next day. It's a bike ride away from city center, but there isn't much around you, so if you plan to walk to meetings, this isn't the joint for you, but if you are okay with a $10 euro taxi to city center, check in today.
A Nice Hotel
This was a very nice place. The room was a little small, but sufficient, as is the case in Europe. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are free bikes to use. There is a good restaurant attached, along with a nice bar. The room had plenty of outlets, which is usually not the case. There was a free bluetooth speaker in the room to use for music. Only a short walk or ride to the old city. The wifi signal was strong and worked great. I would stay again.
Not helpful staff, difficult location, decent room
With the exception of a single staff member everyone else was not helpful, slow, at times borderline rude in their response. The key to the room kept getting demagnetized (every day!) and their response was (after waiting 10 min at the reception): 'well, keep it away from your cell phone'..! The restaurant in the hotel serves great food but the service is slow. The bar at night gets busy and from the moment you order your drink till the moment you get it it's about 15-20 minutes...
Very nice crew
Great location, unique, great vibe. Very friendly staff, nice layout, original and personalized design.
Great affordable stay in frankfurt
Hotel was wonderful. we didn't know what to expect, especially given how affordable it was relative to other city hotels. But 25 hours was a GREAT full service boutique hotel. We loved our expereince
25hrs hotel are always guarantee
25 hrs hotels are THE BEST! High speed internet, free bike rental, good breakfast and the friendliest dtaff, not to mention de fun and crazy design of the hotel. Although the hotel is s bit far away from the center (5 stops in the tram) the bar and restaurant have a very nice ambiance. If you have a car there is plenty of free parking around the hotel.
Fun , original, unique hotel
Great hotel and staff!
Nice and clean hotel
I had a great stay at the hotel as my room was satisfactory, the hotel is located just some few meters to a nearby transport station. The staffs were equally very friendly- there gave me one or two advices on some interesting places to visit. What I didn't like was the way my shorts were thrown on the floor when the housekeeping was there to clean my room.
Disappointed
My friend sent me a package on my birthday, and the hotel did not accept it. Then it got lost, and I never received the package! Also whenever I asked people at the reception, they said they don't know and had no clue who rejected the package!! In addition, housekeeping wasn't good at all for the last 5 days I spent!
Great place to be
The staff was wonderful and knowledgeable with a caring attitude. Martin and Juilio were fantastic to speak with and get direction and insight of frankfurt. Will definitely go back to this hotel.
Funky and great.
On the #11 tram route (ticket achine a few m up the road) and near Frankfurt East RS. A room at the front overlooking the tram route was quiet and dark at night; great for sleeping. First class shower with loads of hot water. And an excellent breakfast: fresh and lots of it, even a cappucino. We'll be back
Only stayed one night, but the staff was friendly and the room was clean and unique (green area with sheep motif). Every door had a different saying. The only bad thing is that it wasn't as close to the train station as I thought it would be.
Excellent hotel!
I liked the hotel very much. The room was great. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.
There was about 10 flies flying around my room when we entered it. I was killing flies in our room every day. I reported it to the receptionist, he came up to our room and took a towel to help kill the flies.
Funky-modern - not great location
funky hotel - We stayed in a "Gold room" it was more yellow than gold. We chose the Goldman exactly because we wanted to try a hotel with big rooms and also with something to talk about. And talk about it we did! The location is not great, as there is nothing happening around, but it is close to public transportation that will take you everywhere. We had a car, and it was a nightmare to find parking every night! (We didn't want to pay for the parking garage at the hotel next door...) The key topic for us...the bathroom, and more specifically the shower! it is enormous! one of the biggest we've seen across Europe! The decoration of the room is funky, hairy carpet and little touches like the doll owl, speakers, free bike/mini rental, running kit & map, design magazines/books - I think this is a hotel definitely for the young crowd and they will really enjoy/fit! and if you sneak to the rooftop, you get a view of the City....nice! We didn't try the restaurant or the bar (almost empty every night! we stayed over the weekend) in summary - nice hotel, but location not the best if you are visiting Frankfurt
Nice spot, close to subway.
This is my third stay at this hotel. Every room is a different theme. Beds are comfortable, fluffy comforters.
he person of the Home has had a deplorable attitude she made us pay three night more because we have not honored our three nights from Saturday but friends of us have taken the same day .This person should not work the welcome is dangerous by against the bartender is best .
Great Hotel Choice in Frankfurt
We chose the 25hours Hotel the Goldman based on reviews of other travelers, cost and amenities. We have never been to Frankfurt before so we were not sure the best location to stay. However, this turned out to be very convenient with public transportation (trolly trains) running right in front of the hotel. The trolly runs to Old Town and the Frankfurt Central (train) Station. It's very easy to take a train from the Frankfurt Airpot to Central Station and then a Trolly to the hotel. The hotel was very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke English wish was helpful to us as we do not speak German. We had our choice of room colors so we just chose one. Our room was very nice with good space, a comfortable bed and very nice shower. The hotel restaurant looked nice, but we didn't eat there. We did have a few good German beers from the bar however. There were numerous restaurants and coffee shops with a block either way. There was also a large and very nice outdoor sports shop a short distance away. Overall I would highly recommend the 25hours Hotel the Goldman.
Brown is the colour
Convenient for my work, not a chain, colour themed rooms - mine was brown but nice with it. Wifi overloaded one evening so no wifi access
Great stay at 25hr hotel
Room quite dark at all, not enough lighting.
Great place!
Very comfortable rooms, the staff is very good, relaxed and attentive at the same time. Breakfast could possibly be improved by larger cups for cappuccinos (but this is really nit-picking, it was great, really!).
Nice hotel convenient for me
I just stay one week good help and nice staf except the elevator
The room itself was pretty cool, however housekeeping was meh. I'm unsure if they were instructed to lightly tidy up, or make the room look as if it were our first night. Either way, that wasn't the case. Aside, the beds were super comfy and the location was superb! I'd definitely recommend and will stay there again! GREAT DESIGN!
the overall experience was good. we have had few issues along the week and some of it got resolved some didnt.
Small rooms but the quirkiness is great
Really friendly staff hotel is close to city great for overnight stop over
Good location at a good price
Good location at a good price. Cannot fault the hotel for quality.
Nice concept for room decoration
The hotel is very clean. They have a cool concept for the rooms. It is within walking distance to the UBahn. We did not take breakfast as we considered 18 euro per person was expensive. We would definitely go back!
Awesome place, very friendly and helpful staff. Easy to get around town from the hotel on public transportation.
Very good hotel and staff. Cost of breakfast was very high.
Fantastic boutique hotel in Frankfurt.
Centrally located. 15-20 mins by tram from main train station. Amazing cocktails and decent cocktails.
Clean, modern and convenient
Good bar, good restaurant (but slightly expensive, and relativelly small portions), safe location so you can leave your car on the street if you find a place. Designer bar will offer good variety of drinks as well as breakfast in the morning. The hotel is just 5 min drive from business district and 10 min drive from the IAA (Frankfurt Expo). You may find the room a little small but it is well designed and comfortable with modern gadgets and free wifi. Very clean overall and staff is absolutelly spot on.
psychadelic zaniness
Stay here on Business and like it so much I decided to take my wife while passing through Frankfurt. Décor is 'Zany' staff are helpful. free bike hire and they will even let you use the hotels Mini car for free if it is available.
Funky
Very brief trip (only a few hours in the hotel) for business but hotel is well located for where I need to be in Frankfurt. Very trendy, maybe trying a little too hard but nonetheless the feel of a turn of the late 19th Century Parisian bordello is more interesting than the blandness of a the normal business hotel
The staff really makes this hotel a little gem
From the start, we were felt super welcome, and loved that we could select the colour of our room:) The room is on the smaller side as most European hotels tend to have, however it is perfectly shaped and without feeling cramped. A bit dark (we had a blue room)though, but thankfully the long summer nights it didn't matter too much. Reception staff as well as the barstaff were very helpful and always approachable. Although not close to the city center as such, it is a quick trip on the tram. Highly recommend this place if you need a well priced place to stay in Frankfurt.
Entertaing place to stay the night!
Excellent place.. not your typical boring hotel. Interesting designs, colors, decoration and super friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location too.
Liked the funky decor..
Just stayed for 1 night, quick simple check in, each floor has a different decor - and i really liked the funky modern style. Bed very comfy, fluffy white bathroom towels, free wifi, very clean.. The only slight negative was the heat, the basic rooms do not have aircon (the more expensive ones do), and it was HOT... thankfully the hotel kindly provided a fan and if you opened the window you could at least get some air movement. Would stay again and recommend.
Nice hotel, room a bit stuffy
This hotel had nice clean rooms with friendly and helpful staff. Getting into town was easy on the 11 tram. The main downside was that the room was very stuffy such that even when it was a cool day outside and with the window open, due to lack of other ventilation it was still overly warm in the room (during summer).
Unique and Pleasant!
It was a pleasant stay at a boutique hotel. Art pieces and inspirational quotes lie along the corridors and each room has a unique touch to it. Room was clean and spacious, even the bathroom was really big. Ipod docking machines provided as well. Supermarket located just 5 minutes walk away so you could grab your food/drinks easily. If you are in for a thrill, you can request for a free ride in a mini-cooper too! The only downside will be the location that is slightly off from the city-centre.
Very enjoyable.
Enjoyed my stay. Friendly staff. All was well. The breakfast was a good German style breakfast.
Interesting, quirky and good value
Stayed here on a 2-day visit to Frankfurt. For about half the price of a comparable downtown hotel, it was quiet, comfortable and adequately sized. The excellent subway is a five minute walk and gets to the core in under 15 minutes.
Quirky design
The Hotel has a quirky design, but definitely not my cup of tea. Rooms clean and well maintained but way too dark which makes it annoying. The breakfast area is rather small & very crowded in the morning. In result we went to the cafe across the road. I stayed 2 nights at the hotel in end of November 2014, I don't think I will ever going back.
Disappointing Stay
The Lighting in the rooms was so low level & moody we couldn't see in our luggage without taking everything out and holding it to the lights! Moody low light is a great & easy way to create atmosphere but here should be an option to turn on more lights to see & read by. We were moved to a brighter orange room as a result but it wasn't any better. In addition, in both rooms, the extractor fan in the bathroom would come on periodically and not turn off so each night we had what sounded like a washing machine nice coming from the bathroom which made sleep difficult. The location was so far from any decent areas of town to eat - we basically had three options; the Hotel Restaurant, an Italian @ 15 mins walk away and Soul food, next the Italian - no breakfast options etc. Finally , the staff were pleasant and helpful without being over friendly but I was amazed that when it came asking directions and recommendations as to how to travel to quite well known and obvious locations ( i.e the airport) that there wasn't an consistent answer. Each of the staff we asked had to look this up and each gave an alternative route. Given that we were no local, had luggage and wanted the quickest/ most direct route ( whihc is usually the case) I would have expected the hotel to have pretty straight forward route mapped out for visitors. In conclusion, a hotel that flatters to please and is trying to box above it's weight.
Pleasant 1-day stay
Nice hotel, very convenient location, close to the airport and highway. Parking a bit less convenient as car park is on the opposite side of the street and there is no direct connection to the hotel. Overall short (just 1-day) but pleasant stay with friendly staff.
Nice hotel
It was a lovely hotel about 5 min from the centre by the no 11 tram which stops right outside.
Great city break
Really cool hotel in a great location, only a few tram/ U-bahn stops from the main shopping streets
Great hotel fun place to stay
We had to stay a night in Frankfurt because our flight was canceled. We weren't expecting much and where pleasantly surprised. Arriving at the hotel we were greeted by very pleasant English speaking staff. Our room was on the 5 th floor and was very comfortable. The bed was fantastic. Lots of places to eat close. They also had a small lounge and offered a great selection of wines. Had lots of fun.
Fun hotel in Frankfurt
The 25Hours hotel is a great place to stay in Frankfurt. The rooms are fun and creatively decorated, and the staff is amazingly friendly and accomodating. I slightly prefer the new side of the hotel, as the rooms seem to have more plug-ins (important on business). Will stay there again next time.
unique and well run hotel
I stayed for 4 nights on the 6th floor. My room and bathroom were clean. The room set up was exactly fit for my needs (sleep and working on my laptop). Staff was extremely helpful when I needed recommendations, directions, and any items for my room. The restaurant was pricey but good. The hotel was a 5 min walk from the Ostbahnhof underground station, which made travel very easy. I loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
nice hotel but not in centre of town
Overall, our experience was very good. We loved the room itself. the only downside for us was the location - there wasn't much nightlife and we had to take the tram back into the heart of the city. Taking the tram was easy though - the stop was right in front of the hotel.
Unique hotel on the emerging part of town.
Having seen some pictures on the internet we were not surprised with our arrival, but it was certainly different from the other ten hotels we had visited during our trip. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, although it seemed a little short handed at times. The location was not what we expected, being in an area that is going through a major renewal, which when completed looks to be a very vibrant location, but not there yet. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but VERY contemporary. Our rooms were not air conditioned, and with warmer than expected weather and a very active street out front, it was not the most restful. It is however very convenient to public transportation and we did enjoy several good restaurants near by.
Great hotel !!
Great service and tastefully decorated. Nice to see a hotel with a personality.
Not a lot of frills, but cute, clean rooms. Good location. Located in an area that's apparently going through a lot of development, especially with the building of the new World Bank HQ nearby. Close to the river--which is nice if you want to go for a run or just go for a walk. Only thing was that, given how cool the days and especially the nights were, we thought it odd that it was really warm/hot and stuffy in the room despite having the window wide open. We had the fan going, but that only kind of helped. The hotel needs to work on getting some better ventilation in the rooms--weird thing was that the hallway outside the room seemed fine. Everything else about the hotel was great.
Great staff, disappointing room
The front desk staff were very helpful and spoke English well. Hotel bar and restaurant were great. Location not bad because bikes are available and tram stops right outside the door, but not central to city core where most bars, restaurants and sites are located. Room was not ventilated so needed to keep windows open all night which made sleep difficult because of the busy industrial streets below. Plug converter we needed to adapt our NA appliances/devices to European standard was removed from the room while we were away. Grrrrr.
Unique hotel in Frankfurt's east end
Nice hotel with unique, clean rooms. Our room was a bit warm, and it was even a cool night in Frankfurt. Definitely can see how this would be unbearable on a hot summer night. But they had a fan in the room which was helpful. 5-10 minute walk from the train station. 20 minute walk from the shopping area (Zeil). Overall a good hotel for a quick stop over in Frankfurt.
Trendy modern hotel wt a vibe
Live band from 9pm on a Friday. Great breakfast selection. Room and hotel is very cool trendy and clean. Only reason why I put 4star is cus the room is super hot, no air con on the M room and it was facing the main road so couldn't open the window as its noisy. It was much cooler in the corridor and anywhere outside the room and it wasn't even a warm day.
Hot and strange
A very odd hotel in the middle of the auto district. No a/c in my room, very hard to find parking and a very odd style overall. It proved to be an uncomfortable stay and I won't be back.
